Great
Hi It was completely worst experience we had in hotel Abruzzi. They show hotel picture in their site detail and gave one room in 3 room apartment in the other building which was far from main hotel and very isolated . Also there was no lift so we have to carry our all the luggage every time . Check in check out both time . We need refund of my stay otherwise we will escalate the matter to higher authority.
Incredible location with direct view to Pantheon from your window
The solitude of the annex was amazing! We were close to the Pantheon but not right in the noisy Piazza which was terrific. The newly renovated room was so well done, clean and everything you could ever want. The service from all staff was perfect, including the breakfast every morning in the nearby restaurant. Loved this hotel and recommend it to anyone who will listen.
The staff are very polite and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Shower is good. The amenity of the room is enough. However my room is located in another building and no lift. And the key set is quite huge and heavy. Overall the hotel is good compare with its price. Breakfast is good.
The staff were wonderful. The hotel was great. If you're booking it, you know where it's located, and you're going to be happy with your choice. Note number one. I don't know where they got those windows, but as soon as you close them you can't hear anything outside. So kudos to whoever manufactured those. Noise is definitely not a problem. if you don't speak Italian, don't worry they speak better English then you probably do. And if you're worried about how to get back to the airport or Termini station at the end of your stay, dont. They will take care of you. I feel bad that I never learned the name of the manager/desk guy that generally works till 8, or 9, or so. He was tolerant of my Italian language questions and understood English enough to know when I was joking about things. So, thank you for helping me to feel less awkward than I usually do. ROME is everything youve ever wanted, and more. If you're looking for a place to stay in one of the best cities in the world, this hotel is where we need to go.
More lively place with lot of food options and closer to major attractions.
This property was fantastic and the staff were so accommodating and kind. We would definitely return.
Location was prime. The staff was super nice and helpful
Incredible location with fantastic service
Fantastic property, great staff, reduced facilities due to location.
Very good option. Centrally located can walk to all the points of interest
Hotel abruzzi was perfect for our 11 night stwy in rome. Location was ideal for seeing all the sights on foot. And the staff bent over backwards to make our stay aa good as possible
Nice feeling of going back in time
Well situated, Sentiment of security, lots of stairs, place has character
Loved my stay here! It’s central and convenient. My room is clean and had everything I needed. The staff is very helpful. I would stay here again!
Perfect location, clean, safe, helpful staff
Enjoyed every minute, the staff and location were out of this world
We stayed in the Annex and had a lovely view of the Pantheon. The room was small but very comfortable and had a mini-fridge and safe. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a welcoming touch. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. They even arranged to have our breakfast packed and delivered to our room the night before those days that required us to be out and about early. The location could not be better - everything was within walking distance. We stayed 9 nights, and I would highly recommend this hotel for location, staff, comfort and cleanliness, & overall experience. Grazie!
Excellent! Stay at the annex. 5-minute walk or less to the pantheon. Quiet and secluded
Hotel Abruzzi is an excellent choice for travelers looking to stay in the heart of Rome. Its unbeatable location directly across from the Pantheon provides stunning views and easy access to major attractions. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming experience. Guests will also appreciate the value of the included breakfast, which is served at a nearby café and offers quality options to start the day. With comfortable rooms and a prime location, Hotel Abruzzi is a fantastic option for those wanting to immerse themselves in the charm of Rome.
Great gem in central Rome
Great place for first time to Rome. Everything you could want to see within walking distance. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff.
The location was amazing and would recommend to anyone to be centrally located while visiting Rome. Would stay here again.
Good location
Great location, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable
This property is centrally located right in Pantheon Square. The views are 🔥! There were many dining options and the staff was amazing. I was able to check-in early and the cleanliness of the property was absolutely a plus. I was extremely pleased with the services I received during my stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay within central Rome. You will not be disappointed!!!
Clean and perfect view of pantheon
Great location and accomodations!
The hotel was central to sites, but because of that, be prepared for foot traffic congestion.
Our stay at hotel Abruzzi was great - we couldn’t ask for a better location. The room was a bit small for two with luggage - but it’s doable. The Pantheon takes your breath away every time we stepped outside our hotel. Highly recommend. The location is perfect - walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and all the main attractions.
In the heart of Rome
Wonderful hotel- close to many popular sites and hidden gems. Very walkable area. Staff was great and very helpful with directions and airport transportation. Room was immaculate with room for all our luggage, and very nice, modern shower. It was amazing to open our windows and see the Pantheon!!
Great location
Great location
Amazing location and view of Pantheon for a very good price. Nice people highly recommend
Great stay at Hotel Abruzzi- Thank you !
So glad we decided to stay at the hotel Abruzzi. It was a bit of a splurge for us, but it was so worth it. The Pantheon was just outside our window! You couldn’t beat the view. You walk out the front door and you are in the plaza. For us, we loved having all the activity of the people coming to the square, the restaurants, the square fountain and Pantheon. This area is centrally located and walking distance to Trevi fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, Roman Forum, etc…some sights a few minutes, some 20-25 minutes walking. There was also a taxi stand in the square if you wished to get a taxi. The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. We were grateful for their English speaking, but they were also helpful with our attempts with Italian. The lobby is quite small and there is one small flight of steps to get to the main floor and small lift that went to the upper floors. The breakfast was located at a lovely cafe around the corner. The breakfast offerings were quite nice and the service (particularly from one of the men was excellent) not sure if it was family run and he was the son??) If you like being in the middle of things, stay at the Abruzzi. We enjoyed the people watching. We were lucky enough to be there on a Sunday morning and saw a grand procession from our window going to a Pantheon service. The hotel was also very accommodating about letting us leave our luggage at check out and letting us relax in their guest lounge when our flight was delayed a couple hrs.
The location of the hotel is perfect for tourists! Rooms are very clean and spacious.
Rooms were very spacious and breakfast was a plus. Very close to a lot of things and staff very friendly and helpful.
Great Hotel
Was an amazing hotel, friendly staff, unbeatable location, wonderful views, & delicious breakfast.
wonderful location, clean room, great service.
Love the location!
Beautiful view!! Amazing location
All staff made the experience very easy and stress free. Would recommend booking room 502 which gets you the best room as it's the top floor with a great view of the Pantheon. Lots of steps but the property does have a lift if required. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, perfect for a few days getaway in Rome as close to most major sightseeing attractions.
quite a place !
Great location and the staff is amazing
Exceptional service. Fantastic location.
Great location and view, nice rooms with everything you need. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Great! Friendly staff and awesome location.
Beautiful hotel in an amazing location
Me and my wife stayed for one night and reserved the room with a view of the Pantheon which was totally worth it! Clean rooms and super friendly staff, we needed to depart very early to the airport and they even arranged a to go breakfast! Will definitely consider staying at this hotel again !
Clean, spacious, super location
The staff was super awesome, helpful, and very friendly. Hotel rooms were clean and maid service was great. The location was perfect, tons of restaurants and shops, walkable to many attractions and the taxi stand was steps away. Surprisingly for as loud as the crowds were outside in the piazza, it wasn't a distraction w/ the windows closed. The breakfast that was included in our hotel stay (from the restaurant around the corner) was good and had a decent selection. We were on the 2nd floor, the only issue was that we could clearly hear the people next door talking and the people above us walking around, talking, closing & opening their door and there was a constant water flushing and running above us throughout the nights. We mentioned it to the hotel staff and they seemed surprise to hear this. Thank you to all of the hotel staff for making it a pleasant stay, we appreciated your help and attention.
Great location!
It was fantastic in the best location! Staff was so polite, accommodating and helpful.
Very helpful staff, great family room.
Everithing is the best in this hotel. Just one minus for me, the mattress is very hard.
Personal was professional
The staff at the hotel were wonderful. The location was phenomenal. We couldn’t have asked for better. Fair warning, the elevator is extremely small and it took a few trips to get used to it but the room was great. The beds were very firm but that seems typical for everywhere in Europe. I would absolutely stay here again.
The hotel location is excellent, and the staff was wonderful. Despite being in the center of the square, once you inside the room is very quiet and comfortable. The off site location for breakfast is the reason couldn't give it five stars. The restaurant staff was unpleasant to me.
Excellent location
The hotel is an excellent location. All the major attractions were within a mile Of the hotel and Pnatheon was right opposite. The staff were excellent. The hotel rooms are on the smallish side and there isn’t much cabinet space but okay otherwise. The cleaning was everyday and they did a great job. We had a couple of minor issues with the sink not draining and window blackout screen not working but overall a good experience.
The pantheon view was stunning! The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was phenomenal! Great place to stay near pantheon.
Great place
Amazing stay, far exceeded expectations
Awesome property
Staffs are professional and very helpful. They can assist carrying your luggage. I like the size of their rooms. The hotel has a perfect location. Great for everything. Excellent service.
This hotel has a great and perfect location . Staffs are very professional and nice. Clean rooms and room size is ok. I will highly recommend this hotel. This is our second time to stay here……excellent!!!!!!
Wonderful staff- great location. No elevator is the only complaint but it was fine! Loved it!
Hotel Abruzzi had a great location, walking distance to many places. Lots of dining choices and breakfast was good. The staff were professional and very friendly. The rooms we stayed at were small but very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Wonderful location. Great staff, very helpful! Good breakfast options included in the stay. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Rome.
Perfecta ubicación, servicio excelente, buen desayuno, cuartos modernos.
The hotel is convenient to the Pantheon and dining options all around. The room was excellent. Clean and shower was wonderful. Staff was so helpful. Would return again.
Excellent staff, outstanding location, convenient to transportation, affordable.
Fantastic location-we loved our stay.
Greatest location we have stayed in Rome
Here is the spot to stay in Rome. Hotel Abruzi. It is directly across the square from the Pantheon, and walkable to the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novona and many other sites. In other words it is very centrally located, and has great views and is in the middle of the real Rome. The rooms were classically smaller as you will find in a old local Roman hotel, however they were clean and very comfortable. The staff is wonderful, the included breakfast is a sit down and order breakfast at a local restaurant. We have been in Rome several times now and this is by far the best place we have stayed for convenience and service. 1 warning, there is a flight of stairs that you need to take to what I believe is the slowest elevator in Rome, however we are on vacation and enjoying the real Rome, we were in no hurry. Make sure to request a room looking over the Pantheon, although I believe they all do.
Perfect location. A lot of restaurants close and shops.
Highly recommended
Great hotel and service. Location was amazing!
Generally very pleased with our stay. Staff very, very accommodating. Free happy hour a pleasant surprise. Wish I could give it a 4.5 but not an option and not really a 5. First 20 steps are tough with luggage. Security door does not always close on its own. Only a stairway to the street. But overall - very good accommodations.
Just stayed at Hotel Abruzzi for six nights. A perfectly placed location to be able to visit and walk anywhere in the old city. The staff is absolutely impeccable – especially Federico and Valentina at the front desk. I don’t need to help take our suitcases up the flight of stairs and down, they were always very courteous, attentive and polite. It is a definite must return to location on our list when we visit Rome next time
If you come to Roma; stay here. Amazing view and wonderful staff!!! Try Pietro de Pantheon. Fantastic meals.
Super central with awesome views
We had a lovely stay here for our last night in Italy. The location is perfectly central for absolutely everything and the view of the Pantheon from our window was spectacular.
Great small hotel in a central location. Close to everything! Highly recommend!
We thought looking out of our room at the Pantheon building was exceptional and that the location was perfect for us to walk and explore the magnificent city of Rome. The lift was rather slow with only a 3 person capacity so we mostly used the stairs to our room on the fouth floor, we assume because it's such an old building. Our room was modern, spacious, well looked after and seemed recently refurbished. The staff were lovely. The breakfast in a nearby restaurant was ok although a little limited and the staff there weren't all that welcoming. We had such a brilliant time in Rome exploring the city and learning about it's rich history. We'd higly recommend dining at Osteria da Fortunata which was only a short walk away.
Perfect location Amazing staff Would always stay here if I visited Rome again
A great location - right at the Pantheon with many restaurants and shops a few steps away. Staff were so friendly and competent. The room was wonderful - clean, specious and new.
Convenient. Friendly, helpful staff. Elevator is small and slow and you need to walk from ground level to 1st floor to access elevator. Stairs are quicker and convenient.
Great location. Walkable to everything.
We loved our stay, great location, and the staff were wonderful.
It was a nice experience and everything was walkable distance.
Priceless Views!!
The view from our hotel room was priceless! The lobby was small and you will have to walk up one flight of stairs to get to the elevator-but they have a wonderful staff that delivered our luggage to our room and they came up to get it on our final day. We did have them store our luggage for several hours when we checked out since we were going to airport for a late flight. Even though the plaza outside the Pantheon was very crowded and noisy-we didn’t hear anything when the window was closed. The breakfast was delicious and just around the corner from the hotel. We asked the hotel staff for food recommendations and they were all excellent! Keep in mind the location, crowds and narrow street could make it difficult to have a taxi drop you off at the door-we did have at least a block walk to the hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend to our family and friends.
Great view!
The hotel staff and location made this a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and polite. Michael went above and beyond for my older parents to accommodate them.
Great staff, service and location!
Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, central location with easy access to local sites.
Great location , helpful staff will definitely recommend
Great place to stay on first visit to Rome!!
The hotel is unique, with some pluses and minuses. Our rooms were clean and well appointed, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect - this is the 3rd time I've stayed in the Panetheon area. However, we were not prepared for the layout. Our rooms were in a separate building from the lobby. There was a very small elevator, but you had to walk up a set of stairs to get to that elevator. This wasn't a deal breaker for our group, but unanticipated. If I had been travelling with my mother, or if someone had a knee problem or arthritis, it would have been problematic. The hotel provided breakfast, but not in house. Every morning we received coupon for breakfast at a restaurant around the corner. The breakfast provided was lovely - it's just inconvenient particularly when the weather is bad. The hotel itself doesnt have a good gathering spot. They have a small lounge with a computer, but no common space where people travelling together can gather. They gave each room a very nice gift of sparkling wine, but to enjoy the wine together, we had gather in each others rooms. These are old buildings, and they've made interesting use out of the space available. Would I stay there again - yes, but it may not be for everyone.
Very convenient to every where walkable , safegood shopping, restaurant every street
Great location in the heart of Rome - main attractions all easily accessible by foot. Friendly staff!
Amazing location, right at the Pantheon! You are in the heart of it all! Great hotel, great staff. If you want a true in the heart of Rome stay, this is for you!
Amazing Stay at Hotel Abruzzi Rome
The location was amazing … heaps of restaurants nearby. We had a lovely breakfast organised by the hotel in a nearby cafe. The staff were all outstanding - nothing was too much trouble. I will be staying at this hotel again when I return to Rome!
Location was incredibly convenient and loved the neighborhood. Rooms were clean - busy part of town so expect noise until 1am or so. The staff were great and Antonio at the front desk was super helpful.
Stayed for two nights. First morning, leak coming up through floor in bathroom. Completed flooded. Reported it to front desk. Couldn't shower, flush toilet or even brush our teeth. Had to go on our city tours dirty. Said they'd fix it. Came back to hotel at night. It was not fixed. Mgr came to room and said he didn't have another room for us in that hotel but we could use room in his hotel in other building. It was the same hotel. He said, no, we rented an apt that was not in his hotel. Hotel Abruzzi gives you two options when booking, view or no view. We chose no view. What is he talking about? We had to move our 4 luggages down 2 flights of stairs and move to other building up 3 flights of stairs. This was after midnight. No help. He then proceeded to tell us that he had other guests that were needing the new room first thing in the morning. No concern for us at all, just his incoming guests. We were a problem. He should have refunded our money. Room was unusable all day. Never again.
Great experience overall. Great location. Great room in the annex.
An amazing place staff was great conveniently located
Really liked how walkable this area is being that it is right across from the pantheon. The area attracts a lot of tourists but rooms are surprisingly quiet. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Enjoyed the view and lively area
