Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel in a safe area close to the cruise terminal in a taxi had a good nights sleep lots of restaurants & bars also close walk to the beach

It was within walking distance to the metro station and bus stop. The beach was also a few meters from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again if I was in Barcelona

Breakfast attendant was eager to help and please. Desk staff anticipated needs and addressed them well, even arranging a taxi to the airport for us. We would return for another stay.

Was in a good location and was a reasonable price for the type of accommodation.

I actually really enjoyed this hotel was really nice. Super convenient and right next to the beach, which made it very accessible. The hotel seems a little outdated, but overall it was a great day. The late night manager or front desk made us feel very welcome. I would definitely book here again.

Lovely Spanish hotel in La Barceloneta. It has a quaint rooftop with amazing views of the sunset!! The hotel is a conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, the train station and shopping areas. Will definitely stay here again when I return💜

Excellent service

Walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was delicious. So many restaurants and shopping just a few steps away. So easy to get around.

The staff here really make the place special. Every single one of them were friendly and helpful, far above the usual.

If you want to stay close to the beach, Hotel 54 is great’

Staff were excellent and accommodating. The room was clean and modern but lacked basic amenities like a tea kettle or coffee maker. Fridge was full of drinks. Bed and pillows were quite firm. Breakfast was great. It was noisy outside throughout the night making it hard to sleep. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful staff, property, location, dining options. This is the best stay we’ve experienced in Barcelona. Close to the beach, close to great shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great boutique hotel

They say that location location location location is one of the most important things so this hotel surely takes the Cake it's in a perfect spot right near the beach and on what I call restaurant row. The rooms are a good size for European rooms it had a very nice bathroom and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was extraordinarily good.

For a single traveler, the room and area fit my needs—fairly quiet, close to the beach, clean, staff was friendly most of the time, comfortable bed, and lots of dining options in the area.

I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. Based on the photos and reviews I had higher expectations when I booked it however that differed when I got there. The room is much smaller than anticipated and my wifi cut out frequently unless I stay in specific places of the room, one of the days it was out for 3 hours for me. The front desk staff were average, expect for one the woman who was so sweet and kind and helpful with addressing any issues or making recommendations, she made my staff experience pleasant. Don't expect any help with your luggage though - this was awkward as the men watched me struggle with bringing my luggage down to the street to wait for my taxi,. Overall, convenient location and close to the beach, many food options, terrace is nice and accessible 24/7.

The only issue we had and not giving it 5 stars is you can hear the people next door. A lady came home to argue with her husband at 1230 at night.

Excellent location for beach, Port Vill and Gothic Quarter

I really enjoyed this hotel. I was a 2 min walk to the beach. Many dining options, host were very nice, rooms were modern and had great water pressure in the shower. I’d stay there again.

Staff were amazing and made is feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The terrace is such a bonus with beautiful views of the city and marina. Highly recommended!

Hotel was brilliant. Stayed for a short break with daughter. Brilliant location for beach, restaurants, water sports and walk into town. Great views from room and rooftop. Would stay again 😊

Lovely room with very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's very close to lots of restaurants, although I found the best ones were on side streets rather than Pg. de Joan de Borbó itself. There's a brilliant leisure centre about five minutes' walk away. Buses are frequent if you want to travel out of the area.

The hotel is a perfect choice for the area if you are looking to be walking distance to the beach, centrally located and surrounded by great restaurants. The staff is excellent. My son got sick on our last two nights here. The staff member at the desk made my son toast and tea at 1 am in the morning so he could feel better. He didn’t have to do that. That’s just one example of how far staff will go to care for guests. Everyone was sweet and kind and very accommodating. The hotel is modern, clean and quiet and I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Barcelona. The roof terrace is pretty cool too and the hotel serves breakfast. My stay here was excellent!!

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a rooftop area with an amazing view. The beach is about a 3-minute walk away which was perfect.

Great Hotel with Great Staff

Lovely hotel with great staff in a brilliant position. Breakfast was basic but well served with fresh bread, meat, cheese & cakes.

Not to expected standard rude manager

Room not to expected standard for the price paid. Hairs on scatter cushions on the bed no tea/coffee making. General cleaning and the fixtures were shabby. Breakfast was poor cold meat and cheese and some pastries.. we asked for tomato and mustard but that wasnt avaliable.the coffee was good. No menu on table offering any hot food and we were not asked if we would like anything hot. When we mentioned this to staff we were told hot food would be made the following day but we were only offered fried eggs or omlette. The next breakfast we got the omlette but it was just eggs fried next to each other with lots of salt added. We were told by another member of staff if we came again he would make bacon but we never did go back. The roof terrace is small but very nice. It does get busy with people walking in off the street and is not exclusive to the hotel guests. it closes early around 8pm and not open every day. General staff are nice but the mamager Cristina was very rude to me when i asked for an itemised bill for checking. She gave it to me in spanish and also it had general items like 'terrace bar' and an amount which she couldnt break down for me so there was no record of what i was being charged for. I said i didnt want to pay for the breakfast and she told me I WOULD pay for it.. also making agressive gestures and saying "jesus".. this was a very distressing end to a long awaited trip. The rude manager is not to be mistaken with Christina from front desk who is lovely

The location is a 10 minute walk from the metro but closer to the beach. Decor is a little outdated but the rooms are nice and comfortable.

Nice hotel front Marina close to Barcelona beach

It' a small but beautiful place, wonderful window to see the Marina, location is perfect, room is small but comfortable, a bit dark but nice. staff super friendly and neighborhood is a paradise

Hotel 54 Barceloneta is a great, clean, boutique hotel in a fantastic Barcelona neighborhood near the beach, metro, buses, wonderful restaurants, bars and convenience stores. The staff was occasionally grumpy but quite accomadating.

Clean and comfortable, but tired

Arrived early and was well looked after by the staff. The hotel is well placed for the beach at Barcelonetta, and Port Vell. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but very tired. What they don't have in luxury, they make up for in friendliness. I would stay there again, but not for more than 2 nights.

Hotel 54 Barcelona is great!

Wonderful place within 3 minutes walking distance from the beautiful Barceloneta Beach. Excellent views of Barcelona from their pretty terrace and a very nice breakfast served with great cappuccinos! Definitely recommend this hotel! It’s small and just right! Next to many many restaurants and gelato spots. Near the Gothic Quarters and La Rambla as well. Mitzie Mariela

Friendly staff, perfect location: 3min to the beach!

Comfortable Hotel in Great Location

Great little hotel in a wonderful location. We loved being near all the action at the waterfront; the rooftop terrace was especially awesome. The room was basic but comfortable and served as a great home base for site seeing. Can’t say enough about the friendly staff! Christina at the front desk was a gem! She helped us sort out a problem with our Covid test results, which were needed for our return home to the U.S. Our week in Barcelona was lovely; we would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Super little affordable hotel

Great location in Barceloneta next door to the fab shellfish restaurant El Rey del Gambas. Its front line overlooking Port Vell. Parking, Taxis nearby, quaint rustic bars nearby, great to explore. No restaurant, Friendly staff, we shall return
