Beautiful hotel - modern, clean, fresh. Would rebook for a future trip.
Perfect, quiet and very convenient location. The penthouse style units are surprisingly spacious for Paris, where regular rooms are usually tiny. The spa is small but tidy and very clean. Will come back for sure!
It was excellent. It is a shame our TV did not work but everything else was great. Thank you.
Stayed at the Royal Madeleine several times and will continue to do so. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Size is smaller as you would expect for hotels in Paris but I think great value considering the location. Walkable to both the St Honore shopping area and the grand department stores (Galeries Lafayette/Printemps).
the hotel was perfect! staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered with a good variety of food . chia seed pudding is my favorite. pool and spa are very clean and modernly furnished . We had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely book again when we're back in Paris!
Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Staff was incredibly rude especially the manager of the hotel who was super disrespectful. Please avoid this hotel when doing your accommodation search. The manager was borderline vocally abusive and tried to initiate a physical altercation.
Hotel was perfect. We had has a total of 3 rooms overlooking the street with a window that allows you to look out. They provided a very nice room for elderly parents. Breakfast was tasty. Facilities (pool and suana) were a nice way to relax after walking 20ksteps. I would definitely stay again
Staff are nice
Upon check in I was given keys to an already occupied room - an honest mistake from their team. The room I was supposed to be in was good, an average size with a nice window seating nook. The bathroom wasn’t a bad size either, but the wall plug did not work and the toilet ran consistently. I asked for the manager to follow up with me after the visit to discuss these issues and have yet to hear back.
I like that they keep the place very clean and the pool is really nice to relax.
Our stay was fantastic, thank you!
The hotel is not worth the price.
Great proximity to the best sites. Very clean. Very pleasant. Cleaning staff was super accommodating.
We have stayed at the Royal Madeleine in the past. We loved the location and, with two girls, the indoor pool always is a great way to relax after a long day of sight seeing. This is the main reason we returned to the hotel this year. Unfortunately the pool was closed without prior notification for more than 75% of the length of our stay. The girls were really disappointed and we will consider other venues during our next trip most likely.
We booked their signature suite. The room is nice but the bathrooms was leaking. The shower head in the shower room fell on my son and we were lucky that he did not get hurt. Their public relation manager tried to pursuade us to change to a connectiing room which is much smaller than the suite but they did not want to compensate us for the difference. So we insisted on taking the suite which resulted in putting up with a restroom with a leaking ceiling. The hotel did not try to compensate us at all for all these inconvenience.
The hotel was perfect for our long weekend trip to Paris. The hotel is located on a quiet side street only 5 minutes walk from Gare St Lazare, which is a great point to join the RER or Metro to get to the main tourist spots around the city. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The standard rooms were a little on the small side, but if your plans are to be out in the city they were perfect, if you’re planning on spending time in the room working/studying then you would probably want something a little larger. The breakfast was good and it was nice after a day walking around the city to get back to the hotel and relax in the pool. There is a good restaurant in the hotel if you don’t fancy going out, or there are plenty of restaurants and bars close by if you do want to eat out.
Great centrally located hotel. Terrace room was wonderful. Breakfast was slim compared to similar hotels but if that’s the only thing wrong, that’s not too bad.
Love this hotel. It is our go to in Paris.
Great little hotel for what we needed. Room was a duplex not the top floor. Would go again.
Outstanding place
The only issue we experienced during our stay was that the sauna was not working on Saturday, which told the reception about and went spent over half an hour waiting for it to be switched back on. The other thing I found unusual was that we asked for water and was charged 8 euros for an Evian bottle which seems extortionate to me. Also, we asked for some more milk in the room and again would have been charged extra if we had not of explained further what we were actually asking for. Otherwise, we enjoyed our suite and really like the treats we received during our stay. It was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I think for price and location this place is fantastic and the staff accommodated us charging our batteries hours after checkout and storing our bags so we could have time to tour around before we needed to head towards our flight it’s within walking distance with bags to the train station so just saying it’s a great deal as far as I can see especially for a 1 nighter
Nice staff and the suite was well worth the price
Great hotel.
A lovely hotel in Paris city centre. Surprisingly big for that reason. Nicely decorated. Comfortable trendy room. Parking is not on site, need to drop cases off first then drive to underground park nearby.

Great place to stay
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come back!
As a frequent traveler, I have come to expect a certain level of professionalism and hospitality, especially from a hotel of this caliber. Unfortunately, my recent stay was marred by a distressing incident involving the receptionist. Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately struck by the loud and intrusive music playing over the speakers. To my dismay, it was Russian pop music, which I found highly inappropriate and offensive. Hoping to resolve the matter quickly and discreetly, I approached the receptionist and politely requested that the music be changed to something more suitable for a diverse and international clientele. To my shock, the receptionist not only refused to accommodate my request but also displayed a dismissive and disrespectful attitude. He was arguing with us and was very rude. The other person at the front desk did nothing to resolve the matter. You should not be treating customers at 4 star called “Royal” property. Russian pop music was playing during all our stay they did not change it. It gave property a vibe of cheap hotel somewhere in Russian suburbs. Also rooms are so tiny that when two of us had our carry on luggages open we had no space to walk. Don’t recommend staying in this hotel. There are so many more options around.
I travelled with family and kids. We booked a suite, which was amazing. Great location. Small gym, great pool and sauna. Staff was very nice. We will book this hotel again.
Solid
The property was beautiful and the staff were very pleasant
The room was a little small but the terrace was perfect ! The staff was great ! Just not my perfect area in the city for me
Always wonderful!
Un bijou
Magnifique, le confort et le luxe dans un endroit parfaitement situé
I liked their spa and the ability to book it for a block that only my friend and I had it to ourselves to relax after a long day. The staff were kind and responsive. Brought us welcome macrons and checked in on us.
Nice place
A fantastic stay. Will be back.
A very modern, clean and relaxing hotel. Rooms were nicely decorated and well kept. Bed was comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Would recommend to others and stay here again.
Lovely hotel
Beautiful hotel in a great central location in Paris yet on a quieter road with not too much traffic. Spa was a massive bonus for us. Only recommendation is to change the reservations to 30 mins and only allow one room at a time as ours was ruined by other guests who were jumping around the pool as apposed to relaxing.
The overall experience was great especially for my first time. There was a little confusion between the languages but eventually worked out. I didn’t like that the television only went up to 20 you really couldnt hear anything while trying to watch movies and you heard neighbors more than you heard the television.
This hotel is a hidden gem! Such a wonderful stay and the staff is more than helpful with everything! So willing to go above and beyond. The redo of the rooms is beautiful and the beds are the best I have ever found in Paris for the price.
Beautiful hotel, very kind & helpful staff, quiet area, in the centre.
Lovely friendly staff, great location and could ask for more.
Location
Really enjoyed our stay! The room was cozy and comfortable and CLEAN. It was a great location - we walked to cafes, shopping and even to the Louvre. Would definitely stay here again.
Really good find. Lovely duplex room, brilliant breakfast and great location for exploring with good walks to Eiffel Tower and The Louvre Museum.
Very enjoyable visit.
Beautiful hotel. Location is excellent - just a short walk from main attractions. Restaurant and lounge area is stunning. Good breakfast but unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked for our entire stay so could not get a reservation for the evening. We didn't use the pool or spa but did have a look and it was very clean and just like the images shown. The only slight critique would be the hotels room service as the food choice is minimal - only the option of a sandwich, chips and a few desserts.
Overnight stay in downtown Paris
Nice, well located hotel in downtown paris. Good value. Nice pool and sauna.
Pamela, head of customer relations was lovely, and arranged a special surprise for our anniversary trip
We love the terrace and the pool. The staff were very helpful!
The room was small but beautiful and extremely comfortable. The location is superb and I loved having an afternoon cocktail and snack at L'Arcade, just a few metres from the hotel. The swimming pool at the hotel is a wonderful little haven, perfect for relaxation after a day of walking around Paris.
It's okay, they did skrup twice, not locking the twin bed. And we feel trorue 2 times the bed because of this, in addition they trou away all over things from the room. So don't expect, to get your stuff back if you forget it. The good thing is resterunt, with friendly and proper staff. But would say, don't go to this hotel, meter please in the eria. But food, would be the only thing I would go back fore.
Spa facility, proximity to many places, small but really unique and well maintained
Great breakfast, pool, housekeeping, room size, and location. They speak english.
I found this to be the perfect boutique hotel.
This is a excellent located property with a great staff and amenities. We had a wonderful stay.
Wonderful experience, beautiful rooms. We love it, will comeback for sure!
Simply amazing
I found this hotel by reading the reviews and gut feelings and it turned out just amazing! The staff treated me and my two teenage daughters as family. On 4th of July, my eldest daughter turned 15. I went down to the breakfast place and prepared a wonderful tray of her favorite dishes and drinks. Julien and Valeri helped us locate a candle and lighter and pressed the elevator button for me. The surprise of the breakfast in bed was ultimate. My daughter’s eyes and mouth could not open any wider. Everything lived up to our expectations and we cannot wait to return to Paris again. For sure, Royal Madeleine would be out home base in Paris. Hope to see you again very soon.
This was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in europe. Staff was wonderful. Stay in the duplex room, which for Paris was absolutely amazing. Great view and plenty of room for our travel size family of 3. Pool was my wife’s favorite part. Would highly recommend.
This property not only had a low rate for the city of Paris but had the amenities of a five star hotel. I found myself repeatedly saying "this is the perfect hotel" during my stay. Our room was on the 6th floor and had a view of the tip of the Eiffel Tower. Room service was splendid and the beds were comfortable.
We stayed in Royal Madeleine for 3 nights to attend our daughters wedding in Paris, we have had the most amazing stay there. The staff are so helpful, the rooms are clean, the attention to detail is great. We paid for breakfast each day, 20 euros each but it is well worth the money, everything you could ask for with a breakfast, including smoked salmon and lots of pastries. Our room was 614 with a very large balcony with table and chairs and sunloungers, lovely and sunny, fabulous. The staff on reception are very helpful and will do anything to help, organise taxis and make sure your stay runs smoothly. We had a great time and would highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer 😍
Stunning hotel, excellent service, beautiful breakfast, room was clean and had everything you could need. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Paris.
Amazing service, great breakfast, we had the 2 floors room with staircase, it was great!
Late night staff not very willing to keep the bar open....some even saying that it was closed just after midnight when the hotel even states it is open until 1am....got served after a couple of conversations but shouldn't have been refused in the first place........other than this a really excellent small hotel with brilliant facilities and a lovely pool and sauna.....all in a superb part of Paris with everything a very easy walk away. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful hotel! Bed was very comfortable. Rooms and bathroom are spacious. Walking distance to all of the major sights.
Absolutely pleasant travel experience
This hotel was amazing. Its very beautiful and the staff was amazing. I had the most amazing massage and facial there. I would gladly go back and stay again.
It was excellent hotel. We really enjoyed to stay hotel
Perfect location to explore Paris, good quality hotel. Pool area and sauna are a bonus and do help unwind after a day exploring.
The pool is so nice to come back to after a whole day of exploring the city. I really liked the coffee pods for a nice espresso in the morning. Bring your own teabags from the UK if you are British as the English tea provided is nice but too fruity.
Excellent stay
Fantastic hotel. Very friendly, very clean, and the terrace was huge. Breakfast was limited but very nice. Great location also. Highly recommend.
The property has high standards. We loved everything.
Staff was very unfriendly. Check in time was 3, our room was not ready til 445. We received no apology from staff. Hotel itself is very cute! Rooms are small, but very clean. In a good area!
Family loved it
Love the terrace off the room
This was such a charming property, and the Cocolili Suite was perfect. Little details made it feel like home, not a hotel.
Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Paris' main shopping district. In close proximity to many sights, shopping and restaurants.
the property was clean and staff are friendly and they have good customer service. I think for spa services - maybe offer more services like mani/pedi.
Large room with plenty of space for the family (2 2). Great location for accessing shops, restaurants, tourist spots. Pretty easy to get to by foot or metro from Gard du Nord. Quiet street and hotel. Some facilities for kids in restaurant area which helped when room was being cleaned, which took a while in the afternoon so we couldnt access. Hotel staff really friendly, restaurant/bar staff not quite as much.
The property is located within 1 5 miles of many attractions. Shopping, incredible dining options, and historic churches. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, bar, and pool area.
great stay....had the suite and it was great for three adults... nice area, good transportation
I started off the trip with overall great service and kind front desk people but the stay completely became disastrous ending with no electricity in my room and a very non-empathetic front desk clerk. Worst experience in a Parisian hotel.
Well worth it!
Poor service from hotel staff
Stayed for a night. At 2 am, there’s a guest on the same floor banging doors and yelling. We called the reception, he hung up the phone once then we called again and he said he’d come up and resolve the problem. No one showed up and the lady was being really noisy until 3am. Soundproofing in the room was bad. At 9am, some random guest knocked on our door and woke us up after such a terrible night! We did voice out to the staff while checking out, the staff basically said we’re sorry without any facial expressions and that’s it. Not even an explanation of why the staff did not show up or anything. Really bad customer service from our point of view. The room or location are nice but they need to improve their service.
nice area, nice pool to relax after shopping and great bathroom counter space to store all of my packed bathroom items
Property was clean, Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool, but we did have to reserve a time slot to use.
Hotel it self wasnt bad but the check in was nightmare arrived there at 1pm they said room is not ready so we pre checked in and went to swimming pool came back up at 2.30 still not ready at 3 lady in front of us got our room she just walked in and they give her our room when i complained you promised us this room they started to panic finally after me getting angry with them they managed to get something ready by 3.45pm .
Sweet little hotel in great neighbourhood. It was noises at night as opposite a bar. I found the pillows a bit too firm with no choice but I may be too picky. Small room but then it is the centre of Paris. I’d consider staying again but would bring my down pillow
Fantastic hotel, lovely staff, awesome location
Exceptional stay, this is my second time staying here, incredibly swift check in and checkout and incredibly friendly staff, located in a very convenient but quiet part of Paris, would highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Paris.
It was a lovely boutique hotel near nice restaurants and walkable to the main attractions. I would have given 5 stars in everything, but our check in was delayed after arriving from an overseas flight. At check in on arrival at 2:30, they stated they will prioritize us for our room please return in a hour, we came back at 4 an the room wasn’t ready an I can hear the other check in clerk say to other guest that they will be prioritized as well. So this irritated me as I rather they just say come back at 5 as we won’t have your room done till then. So other then that, the room an hotel is lovely, staff is very nice and helpful. Lots of good places to eat near by. The restaurant on site was being renovated, so is not open. Otherwise it was a nice place and i would return on my next visit to Paris.
I stayed in the deluxe room that sleeps 3 (1 sofa bed and 2 twins) with my sister and our elderly mother. I told the hotel in advance that we would need 3 beds, they confirmed that they would be ready for us. On arrival (2 hours after check-in started) we were told that the room wasn’t clean and that we would have to wait an hour for it to be ready. There was nowhere to sit, other than the tiny lobby. We weren’t offered anything to make the wait more pleasant or any apology for their incompetence. I asked to speak to the manager and found her to be very rude and dismissive. After waiting nearly an hour, we found that the sofa bed was still not made, only the two twins. We also had 2 of most things we needed, not 3, despite the room being occupied by 3 people, this continued throughout our stay. The last straw came on our last night. The dirty towels we had left in the bath had gone, replaced by dirtier wetter towels. 1 on a shelf and 2 hung on the back of the door. I rang reception, who told me they were clean but damp from the machine. The towels were clearly dirty, used, wet towels. I was finally told that they were our dirty towels because there was a problem throughout Paris with towels and that their machine was broken. The hotel has a spa which supplies towels, and the spa was open. We finally got some clean towels and I put in a complaint, I was told the manager would speak to me the next day. She did not. The hotel is ok, but the manager and reception are terrible.
Not recommended. Under construction, bad service.
The hotel was under construction, yet it was not clear when booking. They did not have a gymnasium or restaurant. The breakfast was served in a very run down place. The check in and check out, terrible. The teams was not trained. There is really no concierge. One day there were no TOWELS available!!! The room was not ready at check in time, until two hours later!. When we checked out, they made a mistake and contacted us days later. I left an item and until I reached out they confirmed they had it. Why didn't they email me right away? I believe the staff really tried to be the best, but they are lacking training, procedures and strong management. On the positive side, great location (10 -15 min walking to Louvre).
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The pool was great
Definitely recommend! Lovely little hotel.
Loved this hotel, staff was excellent, hotel was super clean with all the amenities. Room was spacious, new and very confortable. Close to metro, close to tourist spots and stores. Stayed at their suite, Room had a separate bedroom and a living area with the most confortable couch for kids.
This hotel is very cosy and unique. I love the hotel room and very friendly staff.
High rated hotel drops badly
We stayed 3 different times this month. The first 2 were ok but the last was not good. Itvwas the most expensive of the 3 stays & it was the smallest room. Barely able to move around, maid service cleaning other rooms after we checked in were very loud, next day we returned to the room at 3 pm & asked the maid to leave so we could use our room. We were in 20 minutes annouced leaving but no more maid service. Security issue that we were never asked to show it was our room & while cleaning they block open all the rooms on the floor. I did not enter another room to inform of us leaving. No manager on all weekend, reception was not all that helpful next day room was not cleaned and our room cards had to be reprogrammed each day. Not worth the price.
Comfortable Place To Stay
Very comfortable place. Pool was excellent and needed on hot day
We stayed at this hotel for our daughter’s birthday surprise. I highly recommend this hotel as the staff were extremely kind and super helpful. The room was ready hours before check in and the room was very clean and super modern. The spa was really luxurious and the swimming pool was really nice too. We went in the evening and it was empty, just us in the pool. Looking forward returning sometime in the future!
