Great Babymoon!
Came here on our babymoon and had a wonderful experience! Great rooms, service, food and amenities. Cannot think of a single thing they could have been better about!
Most welcoming staff very friendly very kind and helpful it feels like home ,,, thank you all
Great property. Perfect location.
Lovely staff, pretty grounds and wonderful villa
Hôtel & Ryads Barrière Le Naoura is a beautiful, clean and well kept hotel. We stayed at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. Both rooms were clean and very comfortable. The end of the trip we had a suite, which was exceptional. As for the staff...courteous, friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and into the medina. Breakfast was good and the dining areas, both inside and outside, are very comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel should I return to Marrakech.
Wonderfully attentive staff. Worked to solve any question or potential issues. Great location, walkable to the central Medina, square and souks. Comprehensive breakfast buffet and superb staff.
Absolutely gorgeous and luxury property. It was clean and nice and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again
Most of the staff were pleasant. Some were not The hotel itself is lovely
The service was impeccable. Karima is amazing. My standards for hotels are pretty high, but they exceeded my expectations with the decor, cleanliness and service. I can't wait to return.
Stayed 3 nights after a long treck in the nearby Atlas Mountains and enjoyed the fantastic spa and swimming pool to recover. Great breakfast buffet as well. Great location, walk everywhere. The nicest part: incredibly nice and welcoming staff at the reception, restaurant, swimming pool and spa. I will be back!
This property is situated close to the vibrant Medina neighborhood. Well maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms. Staff excellent and attentive to the needs of guests. You cannot ask for more!
My one complaint regarding the property was there was no inside latch to prevent someone from outside opening the door if you were inside as most hotels. Other than that the staff, food, and over all condition of hotel was excellent. Close to most sites of interest, I would stay here again ❤️.
We loved our stay here! The hotel was so incredibly clean and the service was over the top. We are so thankful we booked this hotel as it made our vacation in such a beautiful city even better! Highly recommend.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff were great and very friendly and helpful,
Excellent 5 Star hotel
Excellent service overall. The restaurant had delicious and affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are big and comfortable. We did the couple spa massage and it was excellent. The location is also great. Walking distance to the tourist attractions. We used the taxi service in town to avoid walking a lot and it was affordable and easy. There is no Uber. We also used the hotel transportation which was a little higher than taxi but worth it. Overall I totally recommend it. 5 star hotel services
Beautiful, serene and smart hotel with great rooms, good buffet breakfast (great coffee!) and really lovely, helpful and professional staff.
Top notch hotel!
Wonderful stay at a gorgeous hotel with very helpful & friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Great property
We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom Ryads and had such an amazing experience that we changed our future booking in order to stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thanks to the delightful staff and impeccable premises!
I stayed at this property for five days and stayed in a four bedroom raid at $820 USD a night. With prices like that you would think you’re getting five star service and top notch accommodations. That was not what we got. Instead we found a dead cockroach, left dish from room service for three days, and an air conditioning system that broke down every night. One night it was so hot we had to go to the front desk at 2am and see if someone could come fix it. The bathroom also had a moldy and sewage smell to it and the floors were completely filthy it’s as if they didn’t mop the floors in a while or do any type of deep cleaning in a while. In terms of service it was lacking, when ordering room service on the phone they never got the order right. They would come to the door one or two time to retake the order and still get it wrong. Their restaurant price are expensive but food was delicious. If you’re going to spend this type of money I’d say stay at the four seasons or Nobu.
The best
Good
Very good location. Walking distance to all the major attractions. Staff very professional and helpful.
Excellent hotel, Staff, food, and cleanliness Will definitely go back
Staff were very helpful especially the waiting staff at breakfast. The room was spotless and the cleaners do such a good job Felt very safe and was nice a quiet but close enough to medina to explore the city. Lovely pool area
Great staff.. very friendly and hospitable
Fantastic and clean hotel. We traveled as a family. Had a great time during our stay. Hotel had a Great swimming pool, hamam, beauty bar. There is a small kids club but my kids were not interested and would prefer the swimming pool. Staff were super friendly and present. The hotel is great it the city is ok. Maybe it’s somewhere you want to visit once!
I’m beyond disappointed in my stay with this hotel. First of all the rooms were boiling at night, we asked if we could have assistance with the AC( I assumed it wasn’t working) as it was so hot at night, we were told there is no AC in this hotel. We then asked how about a fan? The reception staff laughed and said no madam no fans and hung up. We booked treatments at the spa and were told we have to pay in cash only or no treatments. So we booked one treatment for the same day as we had the cash for that. This should have been a simple wash and blow dry. My sister attended the appointment after swimming expecting a wash and blowdry. The hairdresser proceeded to blowdry her chlorine filled dirty hair. She asked can I have my hair washed please it’s full of chlorine. To which she was told I don’t do washing and tried to carry on blow drying her hair! When at breakfast, we would sit and wait to be addressed, noticed or have our orders taken. We would see tables with 3 staff to them but ours was empty? No idea what the prejudice was here but I’ve never experienced it so. Was very disgusted by it. One night we ordered room service, the online menu in the welcome pack wasn’t working. So we went to reception to ask for a menu. They said they don’t have any. So we went back to the room called the room service option, told them and they said we only have the following. Which were limited options very limited, it wasn’t even late at night but no apologies for any inconvenience.
Very beautiful hotel and excellent staff
Beatuful proprty and great staff. We wished we had time to stay a little longer.
Clean, friendly staff
The location is fabulous, everyone from the front desk to housekeeping and dinning room servers were friendly and helpful Our rooms were spacious, bright and well appointed Overall our favourite hotel on our trip
I stayed at a Ryad and it was a very spacious clean and elegant
Family trip
Great hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly and helpful and the amenities were very nice.
Staff extremely professional intent on excellent service welcoming in everyway.
Not worth the high cost
We rented a ryad in a 5-star hotel which was expensive. We naturally expected luxury level accommodations. I'm sorry to say that this wasn't the case. Our ryad was due for a renovation. In terms of service the staff was friendly but sometimes things would take a long time. For example, both the light bulbs in one of the bathrooms were out and we had to ask for them to be replaced two days in a row, for it to finally get handled.
Great location
Superb hotel except for...
This is an excellent 5 star hotel in a great location very close to the centre of Marrakech. The rooms are very large and beautifully presented. The central swimming pool is great and it was a delight to stay there. However there were 2 significant issues: 1) The air conditioning was turned off for winter. The rooms were warm 23deg at night and this was too hot for comfortable sleeping. When I pay €400 a night I expect to be able to control the room temperature. 2) The noise transfer from the room above was completely unacceptable. Every foot step on the hard floor above, was heard directly below. The occupants of the room above returned each night at 1am and walked around their room for 30-60 minutes before finally going to sleep. This woke both of us up each night and in not acceptable for a hotel of this quality and price. Overall an excellent hotel that is let down by 2 serious issues. If these issues are resolved we would be delighted to return.
Perfect stay
We stayed for a week and had a great time. The hotel is centrally located and very welcoming. The food was very good, if a little limited in the evening, but that didn’t matter as there were lots of places to eat. However the best thing about the hotel are the staff, who are brilliant! Very professional but also very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return
I liked that its clean but the city has too much motorrcycles so the air is polluted
The hotel is excellent. Location is perfect walking distance from Jemaa El Fnaa. Room are spacious and very clean. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choices. The staff are very professional especially Karima at the front desk. She is very kind and very helpful. It was my birthday, she suggested to my wife to make a surprise. She decorated our room and send us a birthday cake. It was an amazing surprise. I will definitely come again to this hotel very soon. Thanks a lot to all the staff.
Another excellent stay. Looking forward to returning in the future.
Beautiful upscale and spacious property a nice walk to the medina. Amazing breakfast buffet and really good coffee. Servers all very friendly. Little bit of a mix up with our room as we had our first night as part of a tour and extended two nights through Expedia. Had to change rooms after Day 1. Would have rather they put us in the room we could stay in for three nights right away.
Location was great and the medina was an easy walking distance away.
Great service. Karima the butler and everybody else were making sure we have everything we need. My parents were very happy with their stay at the hotel. Definitely coming back whenever we happen to be at Marrakech.
👌
One of the best hotels to stay at in Marrakech. The service was amazing the people treated us so well. The cleanliness was excellent. I would definitely recommend booking here.
Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights at the Hotel and Ryads Barriérre Le Naoura and had a wonderful time. We were personally greeted by the manager Hicham Halquani. He warmly welcomed us and surprised us with an unforgettable upgrade! The rooms were very spacious with fresh flowers, bottles of water, and fruit provided. The closets were very large and provided ample room for our clothes. The sizeable bathrooms had both a shower and bathtub. The terrace overlooked the pool and was quite roomy. The oversized pool and lounge chairs were quite refreshing as it was over 100℉ each day. We had breakfast each day and the food was amazing! Omelets were made to order, there was a wide range of fruits, pastries, breads, cereals, yogurts, fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee, and of course-mint tea! The location is ideal on a quieter street a few minutes walk to the main square Jemaa el-Fnaa where the you eat and shop in the fouks around the square. The staff made our stay very special and made sure we were always comfortable. The concierge Amine was always available and had answers to any of our questions. We would love to come again to Marrakech and stay at Le Barriére again and would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We can as strangers and left as family. Because of the world class hospitality at the Barriere Le Naoura, Marrakech will always have a special place in our hearts!
Great swimming pool and poolside restaurant! The hotel room was clean and spacious, staff were incredibly friendly. Great location, within walking distance to the Medina.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel, the staff were so helpful. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, there was a huge choice & it was all delicious. The hotel was very clean, the staff were attentive. The only small drawback was that the drinks were extremely expensive but you are in luxury surroundings!

Just great: Staff, rooms and amazing breakfasts. I’ll be back!
Excellent staff, can not do enough for guests!, and excellent food
The welcoming was tremendous and staff are friendly and helpful Breakfast can be served at room from 4 am to noon
We visited the hotel for our first trip in 2 years and to celebrate a birthday. We were not disappointed - the staff immediately made us feel welcome (even sending a cake to our room) and the whole trip everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We made use of all amenities, including the spa for a great massage. We would have liked service around the pool to be a little more available but appreciate it was busy at times. Otherwise couldn’t fault. Highly recommended (worth mentioning this seems popular with families). A good or bad thing depending on your situation!
World class service !!!!
We spent a wonderful stay at this hote to celebrate my wife’s birthday, excellent service from reception, to room cleanliness, to waiting staff and to hotel manager always making sure that every single request was met, I thank you for such a great stay.
Amazing hospitality
Really amazing professional staff, reception staff were very welcoming and friendly especially Souad who was always there asking me and my daughter if we needed anything. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of dishes and excellent servers we spent five days in this hotel and we loved every minute of it. We live in NY and we will definitely visit this wonderful place again Thank you to all the staff of the Nouara
This was one of the more elegant hotels I’ve stayed at in my life. Thank you.
The property is very well Managed! The grounds are exceptionally designed with awesome plants all around the property. Due to covid lockdown, the night life was too quite. Their breakfast was excellent. The staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The charge for coffee in the room was not acceptable. They charge 30dhms for each coffee pods (nespresso). Great location and wonderful hotel. Definitely coming back.
Oasis in Marrakesh
This is a visually amazing property! It’s a convenient location, very friendly staff & it has the best breakfast!! I strongly recommend vacationing at this oasis in Marrakesh
great service
Great!
Overall a great stay besides the language barrier in which cause some minor issues. Would most deff recommend though!
Nice central location great service and very friendly staff
Great time at Barriere Le Naoura
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area was very nice. My wife had three treatments at the spa which all were great. We also thought the breakfast buffet had a good selection.
Location is excellent especially when travelling with children. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is kept very clean, and the staff are willing to help- although I must say I didn’t agree with people reserving their sun loungers first thing in the morning then not using the till later in the day. We ate in all three restaurants and the food is very nice- I would suggest making the bar restaurant Or eating areas non-smoking as it ruins the experience of being in there. Children's club seemed friendly enough although we didn’t use it. Beds were comfortable, nice size rooms. Spa was good- kids can use between 9-12. I had a massage which was good. The location is perfect to walk to the markets, souks etc- not noisy and the doors are good enough to keep the nose out. I would stay here again.
A beautiful place , very quiet and enjoyable in all aspects . A must go to. Couldn’t rate high enough the friendliness of the staff who will do everything they can to make your stay a beautiful experience . A superb place to stay .
Hotel is situated in great area, within walking to tourist attractions. Small boutique hotel with lovely pool and great ambiance.
Clean Helpful staff, always obliging Breakfast was fab, staff at the buffet were very pleasant and helpful despite being very busy Easy access to attractions, 10 mins walk to the market and 20 mins walk to Gueliz where are plenty of restaurant choices.
Location was perfect Food was delicious Service was impressive
Great place to relax for 4 days, central
Excellent hotel , great service
Great location, spacious room, good food though pricey. Air conditioning in the room wasn't very effective.
Rooms are small, not worth the high prices. Food is mediocre. The coffee was never hot. The location was good but difficult for taxi drivers to find. Housekeeping service was poor. At checkout their credit card machines didn’t work so the cashier had the audacity to ask me to go to outside about half mile away and get cash from an ATM. The most ridiculous thing ask a hotel guest to do. I refused.
Nice location. Good staff. Close to everything you looking for in Marrakesh
The staff were all very helpful and friendly, from managers to waiters to pool staff to cleaners. They made us so welcome. The room was spacious and quiet with great view of pool. The pool was warm and large. Good jacuzzi. Recommend the delicious Sunday brunch. Great location, 10 minutes from airport by taxi. 5 minute walk from main square. End October and 30 degree sunshine. What more could you wish for!
Very nice clean hiotel and good staff The only thing with Marrakesh is the taxi drivers just make up a price and hold you to ransom ....seat belts and AC in some cars do not work ... Otherwise beautiful country 👍
The property is exceptional. close to the Mefina and a great restaurant called La Maison d'arabe. So enjoyable. comfortable beds attentive stsff
This property is well situated for access to the old Médina but is away from some of noise of the Médina. The accommodations are wonderful and the facilities beautiful. It was a great retreat for our family.
Excellent and relaxing stay
Firstly we would definitely stay here again. It isn’t perfect (some issues with the little touches) but the overall was relaxing, comfortable and very enjoyable. We spent 8 days here as a family. We found the 10-15 min walk to the soul and main square OK even in the high July heat. The privTe pool for our 3 bed ryad was ideal for when the heat was too much to sit by the main pool. We made use of the spa and the gym. Both felt like a private experience as we saw only staff most of the time. The facial was great - just make sure you are given the time you pay for. The gym is small and it irritated me that some equipment was an extra charge for usage. The pool side restaurant for lunch was lovely. Recommend the club sandwiches and Naoura burger. Overall just what we needed. The Riad meant the teens had the space they needed and good WiFi kept them happy.
All rooms in the hotel have a pool view. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal,10 mins walk to the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa. Ate in the restaurant once had the La Côte De Boeuf and it was delicious. The only downside was the price of alcohol, glass of vodka €12, same as cocktails. Cheapest bottle of wine was €35. Unfortunately, we found that this is the price of alcohol in all restaurants in Marrakesh.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the Medina. Towels and bathrobes clearly well used and would benefit from replacement (one bathrobe had holes in the sleeves)
Facilities and staff were beautiful and accommodating. An amazing property!
Incredibly friendly staff who were happy to help throughout my stay.
An exceptional hotel in such a handy location. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful.
The staff was brilliant: all were very attentive and fast to deal with whatever requests we had. We felt completely spoilt. -))
Nice oasis away from madness in Marrakesh, great pool, nice restaurants
RE: FIRST APPEARANCES ARE NOT EVERYTHING
I want to express my issues about the property. The outside of the property is wonderful. I had booked a suite. The must say that the concierge service was more than friendly. My main suite was not ready for check-in at the time of arrival. When the room was ready, we finally got to enter our residence for the next 4 days. Upon first glance, it looks beautiful. The photos are the website makes the hotel beautiful. However, after unpacking and looking around, I would see the things that needed improvement on. First, if you order room service be expecting at a minimum 30 minutes including just for ordering ice or utensils Second, the TV is totally antiquated. The system that the hotel has at the property needs to be modernized with making the TV more user friendly. Third, you will notice a lot of mildew around in your room. I think a major thorough deep cleaning in each room and a little updating will make this hotel to the luxury that it should be. Fourth, Fouquets food was great. Fifth, the main issue was the bed. We had a king bed (2 twins together). On the right side, we noticed that it was leaning to the right. I complained about this issue after the 1st night. I thought it was fixed but it kept leaning. On the 4th day I reported another complaint. This time I met housekeeping and they agreed. They only gave me a credit of $10.00 when we were paying more than $400.00 per night Didn’t seem reasonable to me!!
My family and I stayed here over the kids winter break. We wanted a place to relax with a pool and a place for the kids to play. Le Naoura had all of those. The kids loved the pool and the kids club. They didn’t want to leave. The staff was great and brought us anything we needed often before we asked. It was a great stay.
very nice hotel. I will recommend it to others. Pool terrific
This is one of the best hotels in Marrakech, their staff realy take care of you. I will come back soon.
Oasis in the Medina
An oasis in the madness which is Marrakech.
Beautiful hotel in the Medina. Modern amenities and wonderful staff within walking distance to many sites and gardens.
Great hotel. Walking distance to all the action and more. Very helpful staff from beginning to end. Concierge Abdeljalil is the best! Lots of great restaurant recommendations and sights to see. He recommended the best city tour guide Abdul.
Excellent
An excellent hotel which I would highly recommend. The only Minor negative is people reserving sun beds with towels but other than that worthy of five stars. Make sure you ask the hotel for restaurant recommendations because they were excellent as well.
Pre Christmas week of sun and relaxation. It was just that!
Nice hotel, good location
The staff were brilliant. Everyone was super helpful. They went out of their way to satisfy any requests we made. - very impressed. Location was great- 10min walk to the square, souks and restaurants/cafes. Room was modern, very clean and comfortable. Also spacious and lovely little balconies and verandas all beautifully set up and made for a nice relaxing area. Only slight neg- no complimentary tea/coffee in the room! Very strange for what was a very smart hotel.... Bit disappointing. Spa- lovely facilities BUT the hammam left a lot to be desired. I definitely would say don't have a hammam at the hotel. Breakfast- was amazing! Lots of choice, very high quality food, delicious and they had dairy free and gluten free options which were the tastiest things I've ever tasted. I don't need gluten free and took the cakes by mistake, but was wow'd by the taste. Hotel and cold options. Definitely recommend having breakfast at the hotel.
A warm welcome from the staff who had a very short check in to the room. The room was large and a great balcony overlooking the pool. Had dinner which was exceptionally tasty and the breakfast was good too. I also liked the way the bed was turned down in the evening providing clean towels Most of all the staff were very friendly and thoughtful Graham
