Great cozy stay, excellent staff, modern clean design

Great team of staff

It was great stay

Upon arrival, I was amazing surprised by the warm welcome of Mao, the receptionist on duty even around 23:30. Checkin was easy with her help, furthermore she impressed me that she is a superwoman. She carried my 23 Kg bag up to the next floor for me without a sweat. I wanted to say thank to her again in the next few days of my stay, but was told she would not be on duty again until next week.

I left. It was sooooo loud. I can hear the people at the desk. There was no regulation on the lights in the room or sounds. The bed was so thin. It was very hot and uncomfortable inside. I went to a hotel the night I checked in.

The place was great, nice staff, clean and a great location. One staff member gave us so many recommendations she was fantastic and made our trip so much better. There is no way I would have found the submarine bar with guidance. I don’t know her name but she used to live in Eastbourne. Thank you for all your help!

Very, very comfortable environment. Looks nice, feels very homely. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Was easy to socialize, make friends! Spacious dormitory is very appreciated, feels great. Shower is great. Only complaint really is it’s a pretty far walk to the nearest station, and the bed felt VERY stiff (could feel wood at my hip).

So clean, and the best staff! I had to come back for my last day in Japan <3

Great Staff but uncomfortable dorm

Good staff and a decent location. Hostel itself isn’t very comfortable. Lousy common area and uncomfortable dorm beds.

Quiet hostel about 15-20 minutes walk away from Dotonbori. It's hard to get to since the nearest subway station is almost 10 minutes walk away.

Friendliest of host! Area is just a few walks away from main busy area. The place has everything you need!

Must stay in Osaka!

I loved this hostel! Big, spacious purpose built hostel with super friendly and welcoming staff, free unlimited basic breakfast and free tea & coffee. I had the bottom bunk and it was perfect; large locker, plenty of shelf space, hooks for your clothes & towel, the mattresses are surprisingly comfortable considering what they are. Super clean! The staff are always cleaning which I really appreciated considering some of the ratchet places I've come across. We played beer pong and made food together for Halloween which was so much fun! 15 minute walk to Dotonburi which has all the bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend.

Very very nice staff. Top of the line hostel you can find in Japan. Clean and spacious room. Had a lot of fun conversation at the 1st floor lobby shared space. They have staff at the lobby 24 hours so late checkin is not a concern. The only con I can say is that the location is about 10 minutes walk from Tanikochi 9-Chōme subway station which is a bit far. The good side is that the hostel is also about the same walking time to 2 other subway stations so you can go to the station of you line directly instead of having 1 extra transfer. Enjoyed the stay. Will come again when I visit Osaka again.

The hostel and the facilities were clean but the location is a bit remote.

Great budget accomodation

The hostel is very modern, convenient and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The area around the hostel is nice and quiet, but it's within a 15-minute walk from the most interesting areas in Osaka, Dotonbori street. There's also a free breakfast (toast with jam) and free tea. One thing to keep in mind is the bed: it is a thin futon mattress on top of a hard wooden bed, so it can get uncomfortable if you are used to sleeping on a soft bed. Another thing is there's an elementary school right outside of the window and kids can get loud early in the morning. Still, it was a pleasant stay and great value for the money!

Short 2 night stay

What a lovely, peaceful welcoming hostel. My friend & i stayed 2 nights. Very clean, modern facilities. Mattresses rather thin - however I found it very comfortable. Great common areas, quite social. Will definitely return on future trips.

Osaka

One of the best hostel I have been too. They have a lock storage section but you need your own lock. Can rent a bike there. Friendly staff.

Nice little hostel for great value

Firstly I thought the layout of the place was slightly odd, with the kitchen, eating area, lounge area in one place and the showers and toilets adjoining that area. So after a shower you walk across the common areas to get to your room. The kitchen was very compact, however had lots of amenities. What made the hostel special was the staff. They spoke English really well and was always happy to help, they have the hostel a very personal feel. So I'm really glad I stayed at this place which was great for value too!

Hostel Mitsuwaya

The highlight of my trip had to be this amazing Hostel. It was lovely to be greeted by its friendly staff who put me in a good mood each morning before I set off for some sightseeing. The modern and clean design was a bonus, with the right amount of privacy. It all felt very homely and not 'just a place to stay' during my four day trip to Osaka. Not to mention the free tea and coffee every morning! It's location is very convenient for local shops and a short stroll to the famous Doutonbori and Hozenji Alley. I definitely recommend you stay at this hostel when you are in Osaka.

The best hotel I've ever stayed. They did a good job in the shower area's ventilation. Just it's a bit inconvenient, especially for female guests, all the shower rooms are located at 1/F, all guests (both males and females) have to walk through the public lounge/living area in order to take the shower. Yet, understand that it might be a "structural" issue for the architecture. Also, the location of the hostel was inside a residential district. Slightly far away from the metro/subway station (with slopes). But all in all, my stay was much more comfortable and better than expected.

Super sejour

Staff adorable Proprete impeccable 4 prises murales plus un casier dans la cabine Tout est propre et moderne. Seul point negatif: le matelas n'est passez epais et est peu confortable.

정말 좋았습니다!! 숙소 분위기도 진짜 깔끔하고 함께 숙박하는 대부분의 사람들도 다들 너무 친절하셨습니다!! 저는 이번이 첫 여행이라 잘 모르지만 함께 숙박한 다른 분들께서 자기가 묵었던 곳 중에 이곳이 손에 꼽을 정도로 깔끔하고 잘 관리된 티가 나는 곳이라고 하셨습니다!

非常有日本風情，很棒！！！

初めて利用しましたが、カプセル内にちゃんとした施錠が出来る貴重品ロッカーが欲しかったです。 南京錠がないと施錠出来ないタイプで、全て貴重品を持ち歩いて移動しました。 受付スタッフですが、学生のバイトなのかヘラヘラした態度と、接客中のスタッフ同士の談笑と、見える範囲でゲームをしてたり等、ちょっとどうかなと思ってしまいました。 清掃は行き届いており、良かったです。

施設、環境、コスパ納得 また利用すると思います

和風の造りが素敵です。デザイン性が高いです。スタッフも親身で暖かい人たちでした。タオルや歯ブラシは有料になります。

ゲストハウスとしてのコストパフォーマンスはとても良いです。 二段ベッドの上だと荷物の上げ下げがちょっと大変です。上になるか下になるかは運です。空いてれば下にしてくれるみたいです。

I just spent 5 days in Osaka at the Hostel Mitsuwaya as a solo traveler. The place itself is relatively small ( 2 floors + roof top ), but it just makes it easier to meet new people. The hostel is very clean and the staff is so friendly ! They gladly answered many of my questions (ex. restaurant recommendation, places to go out, directions, etc.) I thought the beds offered enough room and privacy (keep in mind there are Japanese style beds that means you'll sleep on a futon instead of a mattress). The rooms are on the second floor while the showers are on the first floor, but in my opinion it wasn't a problem. The location is very good : the neighborhood is quiet, however you can go by walk to Dotombori where all the night life takes place. The only detail was that the breakfast was very basic and always the same, but it was free which makes it hard to complaint. Overall, I am totally satisfied by my experience there, I would definitely go back or recommend this hostel.

최고였습니다 환기도 잘 되고 엄청 깔끔하고 직원분들이 정말 모두 착하고 친절하십니다. 자전거도 500엔에 대여해서 하루종일 탔는데 최고였어요 자전거 꼭 타세요 다음에 오사카와도 여기로 올겁니다 정말 미츠와야 호스텔 덕분에 여행 잘하고 갑니다

いつも心地良い挨拶で迎えて頂きます！外国の方が多く和気あいあいとした雰囲気です。出張での滞在で、少し場違いかなぁと恐縮してますが、これからも利用させてもらえたらと思ってます。

개인적으로는 최고의 게스트하우스였다. 첫째 스텝들이 좋았다. 친절하고 배려심이 높으며 좋은 정보를 주려고 노력하는 모습이 보였다. 둘째 게스트하우스의 디자인이 마음에 들었다. 원목가구와 하얀 크림색 벽지가 주조를 이루고 있어 아늑하고 따듯한 느낌을 준다. 세 번째 교통이 좋았다. 사실 주택가에 위치해 있어서 역까지 약간 걷기는 해야한다. 다니마치6초메와 다니마치9초메역 사이에 위치하고 있다. 지하철 다니마치선은 텐노지의 아베노하루카스,오사카성,히가시우메다 그리고 코리아타운인 츠루하시에 다이렉트로 연결된다. 정거장수로도 2~5정거장 정도다. 도톤보리,신사이바시,구로몬시장,난바 등도 걸어서 10~20분 거리에 있다. 4번째 조용한 휴식을 원하는 사람에게 추천할 만 하다. 바로 앞에 초등학교가 있지만 그렇게 신경쓰이지 않으며 신사들이 많이 있고 공원도 있어서 운동이나 산책하기에도 좋다. 도톤보리로 가는 중간에 하치방스지는 유흥가이기도 하지만 한국인들이 많이 살아서 한국음식점도 많다.

Best hostel in Osaka!

People are really nice, the place is clean, beds are really conformable and your locker is big enough to fit a backpack! On my last day, they even gave me a little card with recommendations for my next destination!

綺麗なゲストハウス

全日本フィギュアの観戦のために宿泊しました。最寄り駅の松屋町駅から徒歩10分位です。駅から来る途中にたこ焼きやお好み焼きがテイクアウトできるお店があります。宿の中はとても綺麗で利用しやすかったです。ベッドも思ったより広めで快適でした。早朝、難波駅へのタクシーを手配して頂きありがとうこまざいました。また利用したいとおもいます。

難波へ歩いて行けて便利

スタッフさんも皆さん親切で安心して宿泊することができました。サービスでお茶や朝食を頂けたのが助かりました。 ただ少し気になったのは、個人的に部屋に入った瞬間の強めの合板の匂いが苦手なのと、部屋の暗証番号を入力するとき扉がガタガタ音を立てるので他の宿泊者に気を使いました。 それ以外は、室内やシャワールームもとても綺麗で清潔感のあるホステルなので、また機会があれば宿泊したいと思いました。ありがとうございました。

おきたら他の泊まってる方におはようと言ってもらえてとてもアットホームな宿泊施設！建物自体とても綺麗で長居したくなります。

숙소가 깨끗하고 이용하는내내 너무 편하고 좋았어요 뿐만아니라 호스트들도 너무 좋았어요 다음번에 오사카 가도 다시이용하고싶어요ㅎㅎ

필력이 좋지 않아 단답으로 적겠습니다. 좋은점 : 깨끗한 시설(진심 깨끗), 안락한 숙소(숙소 내부도 넓음), 친절한 직원(많이 친절), 주변이 조용 나쁜점 : 거리(도톤보리에 바로 붙어 있진 않음, 오사카 성과도 조금은 거리가 있음, 둘다 못 걸을 정도는 아님)

Nice area, very close to the convenience store, great atmosphere, super friendly staff and very willing to help & ask any questions you have. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking to travel to Osaka and looking for a great accommodation that's very affordable!

Nice hostel

這次第二次入住，住客品質上升許多，過了11點真的都相當安靜。

깔끔하고 쾌적한 게스트하우스

시설은 정말 깨끗하고 좋아요. 여성분이면 방에 길게 화장대처럼 되어 있는부분 이용하는것도 만족하실거에요. 직원들도 매우 친절하시구요. 단점이 있다면 정말 위치가 애매하다는점?? 근데 숙소 자주 들리실거 아니면 괜찮을듯 해요!

친절하고 깨끗하고 저렴한 숙소!!!

객실도 깨끗하고 디자인이 전반적으로 나무라 따뜻하고 편안한 느낌이 가득한 숙소였습니다. 가격도 저렴하고 직원들도 너무 친절했어요!! 샤워실이 5칸으로 나눠져 있고 안에 샴푸, 바디워시, 컨디셔너 있어서 좋았습니다. 세면대와 헤어 드라이기도 부족하지 않게 잘 되어있습니다. 공동거실과 공동주방이 있어서 외국인들과 만나는 것도 나름 신선한 경험이었습니다.

중심가에서 거리는 조금 있지만 깨끗하고 아늑했던 곳.

여자전용방에 이틀 있었는데, 개인침대공간이 아늑하고 좋았어요. 단, 프론트와 거실 바로 옆에 위치해 있어서 좀 시끄러웠는데, 저는 크게 신경 안 썼어요. 그리고 주변에 역이 3개가 있는데 어느 역하고도 아주 가깝진 않아요 10분 정도는 걸어야 합니다. 거리 때문에 하도 중심가까지 걸어다녀서 다음 번에는 시내와 가까운 곳에서 머물러 보고 싶은데 이만큼 가성비 좋은 곳은 없을 것도 같네요.. 여행객 비율은 외국인과 한국인 비율 반반.. 성비도 남녀 반반.. 정도 됐던 것 같고, 직원들이 엄청 친절하세요! 길도 잘 알려주시고 일본어로 쓴 쪽지도 챙겨주시고 ㅎㅎ

Very Clean. Very friendly. You can't expect more.

As the place is quite far from the metro stations, the hostel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area with a school right in-front of it. The room, toilet and shower is kept very clean and the bed was one of the most spacious I've had in a hostel. The staffs were super friendly and always welcomed me warmly when I came back from my trip. I assure you that your stay here will be with absolute satisfaction. The only one down point is that the soundproof of the room is not that good as I could hear voices of others in the next room. But I guess when you're staying in a hostel, you have to bear with that anyway =p

조용하고 아늑한 곳!

우선 시설은 너무 깨끗하고 아늑했습니다. 그리고 건물이 너무 예뻐서 마음에 들었어요. 스태프분들도 정말 친절하셨구요. 특징은 번화가에서 좀 떨어져있다는 건데요. 저는 걷는 것을 좋아하고 그렇게 먼 거리는 아니라서 문제 없었습니다. 오히려 동네가 조용해서 평화로운 분위기에서 쉴 수 있어서 좋았어요. 근처에 편의점도있고 1층에 자판기도 있어서 편했습니다. 다음에도 여기로오고 싶어요!

快適で過ごしやすいゲストハウス

2度目の宿泊です。 丁度一年振りくらいです。 チェックインの時リピートという事を分かってくれていました。 他のゲストハウスでリピートをした事がありましたが分かってくれたのは初めてでした。 きれいで快適です。シャワーも24時間利用できるし、１つは女性用になっているのもとてもいいです。 朝食のトーストは有り難いです。 またそちらに行く時は利用したいです。

시설이 정말 좋고 깔끔한 곳

역에서 거리가 먼 게 단점이라고들 하는데, 보라색 노선 다이마치로쿠쵸(?) 역으로 다니니까 오히려 편했습니다. 이쪽은 사람도 별로 없어서 한산했고요. 밤 늦게도 그냥 주택가고, 큰 길은 종종 문 연 가게들이 있어서 큰 걱정 없이 다녔습니다. 시설도 좋고, 샤워실 많고, 직원 정말 친절합니다. 단 하나, 방음이 잘 안되다보니 예민하신 분들은 신경쓰일 것 같아요. 난바나 도톤보리 등 근처 번화가도 좋지만, 호스텔에서 추천한 시장쪽 가게로 꽤 갔었는데 현지 동네 분위기가 편안해서 더 좋았습니다.

和モダンなホステル

玄関から和を思わせる素敵な外観。 間取りが広く、共有スペースで楽しむことができます。 ２段ベッドはしっかり高さがあり、遮蔽性も高く心地よく過ごすことができました。

ゆっくり過ごせました。

駅から離れていて街頭も少なく夜に出歩くのは怖かったですが、その分周りは静かでぐっすり寝れました。スタッフの方も気さくで親切でした。ありがとうございました！

진짜 깨끗하고, 샤워실 화장실 등등 모두 편했음 아쉬운건 위치

전 4인실 2일 썼었는데 한칸이 진짜 좁을거라 생각했는데 생각보다 넓고 아늑해요 에어컨도 방마다 조절가능 (감기조심) 스태프도 매우 친절하고 한국인 손님 많음 샤워실 화장실 침실 모두 깨끗하고 딱 사진 그대로이고 사진보다 넓었어요 위치랑 상관없이 저는 시설 청결도 면에서 너무 만족해서 ? 높은 점수를 줬습니다 아쉬운건 아무래도 위치인데 숙소 이동시에 캐리어를 끌고 다녀야 하는 거리가 난바역까지 15분? 좀 불편했어요 밤에도 도톤보리에서 혼자 돌아오는 길에 삐끼들도 있고 좀 무서웠어요 특히 마지막 큰길에서 숙소로 가는 골목길은 사람이 한명도 없어요 그때는 아무 경로로 가지마시고 최대한 큰길로 이동 후에 초등학교 거치시는 거 추천 혼자 여행하시는 여성분은 좀 일찍 귀가하심 좋을 듯

편안하게 잘 쉬다가요 ㅎㅎ^^★

객실이 생각보다 깨끗하고 직원분들도 친절하고 좋았어요 기회가 된다면 또 오고싶다는 생각이 들었어요 ㅎㅎ ^^★ 다만 수건대여료 생각지도 못했어요 ^^;; 그리고 새것을 주셨는지 몸에 먼지가 ㅠㅅㅠ; 3층에 테라스가 있었는데 한번 가볼껄 그랬네요. 전자렌지도있고 아침에 차와 토스트먹을 수 있어요. 세탁기도 있구요. 욕실과 화장실 분리되어 있어요. 너무 편히 잘 쉬고 왔어요 감사합니다 ㅎㅎ

일상의 행복?

한국말 하실수 있는 직원이 있어서 영어도 잘 못하고 일본어도 잘 못하는데 굉장히 고마마웠어요 숙소는 나름 편해요 늦게 편의점에서 사와서 먹어도 괜찮았어요 혼자 여행간거라서 시끄럽게 떠들진 않았지만!! 근데 주변에 역이 좀 멀어서 15분 정도 걸었어야 했는데 저녁엔 특히 사람이 없는 거리다 보니 조금 무서웠어요 주변에 다 절 밖에 없었거든요 앞에는 초등학교가 있어서 일상적인 행복이 있었어요

다시 방문하고 싶은 곳

직원들도 매우 친절하고, 무엇보다 청결해서 좋았습니다. 샤워실에는 샴푸,컨디셔너,바디워시,드라이기가 비치되어있어 편리했고, 세탁기와 건조기는 동전을 넣고 이용 가능합니다. 룸에는 2층침대와 화장대가 있으며, 체크인 첫날 깨끗한 침대 시트와 베개커버, 이불커버를 받아서 위생적으로 좋았습니다.

언제든지 다시찾고 싶은 호스텔

굉장히 청결하고 모던하며 평화로운 호스텔이었습니다. 특히 리셉션에 계신 분들이 한국어, 일어, 영어가 모두 가능하여 주변 레스토랑 및 관광지 설명을 매우 친절하게 도와주셨습니다. 룸에는 24시간 에어컨에 나와서 매우 쾌적한 환경을 유지할 수 있었습니다.

전체적으로 전부 만족하지만 도톤보리(구리코)에서 상당히 멀고요.(걸으면 20분 조금 넘는듯하네요.) 도톤보리가 아닌 다른 지하철역도 거리가 꽤 됩니다. 주택가라서 너무 늦은 저녁에 다니기엔 약간 으스스합니다. 일본 자체가 치안이 좋은 편이라 별 일은 없엇네요.

시설이 깔끔한 숙소

다른 후기들처럼 정말 숙소시설은 깨끗하고 좋습니다. 가격대비 만족합니다 ~~한가지아쉬움점은 난바에서 약간거리가있습니다. 좀거리가 애매해용 ㅠ

極めて清潔

おしゃれな外観から予想できるように内部も非常に清潔にメンテナンスされていました。二段ベッドのスペースはカプセルホテルよりも広く快適ですが、シーツ類は自分でセットしなければなりません。ベッドの上段に登るハシゴはちょっと怖い能登、部屋に入るためにナンバー式の鍵を開けるのが面倒なのがちょっと残念。覚えられないのでメモを持ち歩く必要あり。屋上の人工芝エリアのハンモックはとても快適です。

整潔安靜的旅舍

此旅舍風格十分舒適，店員英文很不錯，亦十分友善，距離車站行約八至十分鐘，不算很方便，附近沒有便利店，行六分鐘左右有一間24小時超級市場可供選購日用品，浴室乾淨整潔，有雪櫃及焗爐，電水壺可供旅客使用，基本設施都十分齊全，床鋪要自行整理，很多外國人住宿，這旅舍是不錯的，喜歡的。

設施超棒的飯店

第一晚比較晚到飯店，因爲離地鐵站有點距離，附近都是住家和佛寺，街道上完全沒有人，一個人走有些可怕。整體來說設備和房間都是五星級的超棒享受，超新又很寬敞！只是第一晚因為一群外國人和staff在交誼廳玩到深夜一兩點，大夥大吼大叫，住在一樓房間裡完全無法入睡。而且房內會不時聞到外面傳進來的煙味。但吵雜聲和煙味的問題在第二三晚就有改善了（我有向staff反應，因此後來窗戶都是關的，煙味部分有好一些）。整體來說Hostel 硬體部份很棒，而管理制度等可能加強一些更好。

시설도 깨끗하고 스텝분들 모두 친절했습니다. 개인적으로 또 오고 싶은 숙소에요. 즐거운 추억 많이 쌓고 갑니다. 감사합니다 (첫날 같이 맥주 마신 양궁하던 오빠들 한국에 잘 귀국하셨는지..ㅎㅎ)

とても綺麗なホステル

荷物を預けに行った際玄関に鍵がかかっていたのでピンポンを押しましたが何度鳴らしても出ませんでした。その後出かける宿泊者が中から出てきたので入れましたが、出れないなら鍵を開けておいてもらうかもう1人フロントに人を配置しておくかして欲しかったです。 お部屋はとても綺麗で快適だったのでよかったです。24時間シャワールームやドライヤーが使えるのも有り難かったです。 玄関に靴が散らばっていたのが衝撃でした。外国の方が多いから仕方ないのかな…

とても清潔で優しい雰囲気の良いところ

部屋もシャワールームも共有スペースも全部とても綺麗でした。 ベッドは広く、貴重品を入れる箱が置いてあって、小型のスーツケースなら余裕で入るくらい大きく、蓋を閉めれば机代わりや物を置くスペースに使えて便利。 スタッフの方も凄く良くしてくださって、「行ってらっしゃい」と「お帰りなさい」の声が温かかったです。 個人的な用事にも快く応じてくださって感謝でいっぱいです。 必ずまた利用します。
