Wonderful family stay

Absolutely excellent place

Good value, good location, good service, good breakfast.

Loved the terrace. The location was also perfect. Walking distance from the central market and other cool shops.

I arrived late and was assigned a bunk bed instead of a double bed. This was quickly remedied the next day, the staff removed the top bunk so I had a single bed--they said the double beds were all occupied. The detached bathroom was extremely clean, good hot water, serviced daily.My room had a patio with potted plants. The breakfast was full and excellent. the brekkie room was large. The property is heated in the common areas, heat available in rooms but not necessary thick blankets, Great location. good internet.

Friendly staff and great value

We didn't really know what to expect when booking this place, but we were very pleased with our choice. Each room has it's own separate bathroom using your room key. There is a safe in the room for your valuables. The room was very spacious for two people, almost the size of a small apartment. If you are a light sleeper request a room facing the courtyard and not the street since the sound of traffic can be a little noisy. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. There is someone at reception 24 hours. Breakfast was really good, much better than we expected with fruits and other healthier options (aside from the usual biscuits and croissants). Mendoza was very inexpensive compared to Chile for both accommodation and eating out so all in all a very good value if you're on a budget. The neighborhood is safe and has lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. The only thing that was a little questionable was leaving our keys at reception with one staff member and just giving our room number (no identification) to get the key when we returned with a new staff member at reception. I'm not sure if this is the most secure process to have in place, but maybe I'm just a little paranoid or maybe they are really good at remembering faces. Anyway, we made sure to lock our valuables in the safe whenever we left... just in case. The rooftop patio was out of this world with all the cacti and other plants. Highly recommend Hostel Confluencia.

Great room, a little noisy

Great hotel and clean. The only issue was that our room was facing the main road and it’s very noisy - didn’t really get much sleep due to all the traffic. Apart from that, the room and location was great!

Great location

Our room was excellent! The only thing we were dissatisfied with was the sound of the A/C when we turned it on (very loud) and the inconvenience of leaving our room to go to the bathroom down the hall. Otherwise, we were right in city center, with a great breakfast (more than just toast!) and friendly door attendants.

Hotel is in a good location close to stores and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but tasty. The hotel staff was super friendly and informative. The bathrooms are private but outside the room which was a little weird. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for 2 nights, I'd come back again.

Great hostel

Very nice hostel, great value, great location for getting around. Really nice roof terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Would highly recommend.

Great bargain

Great hotel and good location. The bathrooms are not en-suite but you get a private bathroom of your own with a lock and key in the ablution block at the end of the corridor, not too much of a hassle. The rooms are large and airy. Great rooftop, friendly staff, good location and they sell wine! They also can organise any tour you need.

A pleasant surprise for a hostel!!

We had a flight cancelled at the last minute! so scrambled for a place to stay, where it wouldn't cost a fortune. Arrived at Confluencia, and the front desk person said there was no res!! I wanted to cry. Then another person came to look and he found it...sigh. He was VERY friendly and warm and helped the 3 of us with our luggage (only stairs, up 2 flights and we're older!), and we got into our room..clean, airconditioned, neat, clean towels...the person, locked bathroom was down the hall....toilet, shower and sink..perfect!!! It was like being in Europe. All halls and areas seemed very clean. In the morning, we were leaving before breakfast officially started and we had fresh fruit, coffee, medealunas, cereals..all set out in a very cute, clean cafe-like large breakfast area. This place was a joy to stay at!

Hostel with the mostest!

We were in Mendoza without a place to stay, since our flight was cancelled at the last minute! We booked a place thru Hoteles, and having already stayed at a filthy hostel in Mendoza (Quinta Rufino ) I was afraid to stay at another. Did not have much of a choice and the reviews for Confluencia were so good, gave it a chance. At first, entering, there was no reservation! then a friendly face came to the desk and found our res. The secure front door was clean and pretty. We were taken and assisted with our many luggages to the 2nd floor, to find a room with 3 singles, neat and sufficient and clean. Our key fit a private bathroom down the hall, with sink, toilet and shower....ALL CLEAN! this was joy! The next morning we had to catch an early flight and the hostel had coffee, fresh fruit, breads, cereals, all ready for us, before the usual breakfast time. It was so pretty in the breakfast room...tables set up with silverware and cups and napkins. This is a place to stay!!! thank you Confluencia!

al borde de un 10

haré mención solo un par de detalles que nos pareció un poco incomodo: Ruido: al estar sobre la avenida y dadas las condiciones acústicas de la calle, la cortina de madera no logró atenuar todo el ruido que había incluso después de la medianoche. Baño: nada mejor que un baño privado, pero por lo general están dentro de las habitaciones no fuera. Por lo demás, el lugar es espectacular, tanto en ubicación como en comodidades, sobretodo el espacio de la terraza con el recibimiento mas tierno de todo Mendoza.

Por sobre todas las cosas la atención y calidez de los integrantes de ese plantel interno del hostal

Gezellig en kleurrijk

Gezellig hostel in een leuke buurt! Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kamers zijn ruim en badkamer is netjes. Ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid, voor ieder wat wils!

Très bon séjour. L’hôtel ne paye pas de mine à l’exterieur Mais c’est vraiment très bien. Gros coup de cœur aussi pour le petit déjeuner, mon meilleur d’argentine Pour l’instant ! Petit bémol : comme toujours, l’insonorisation !

Excelente localização e custo vs beneficio

Peguei um quarto com 2 beliches porém exclusivo para um amigo e eu, o banheiro fica fora do quarto mas fechado a chave (cada quarto tem o seu banheiro). Equipe simpática. Boa localização. Café da manhã ok para o excelente custo vs beneficio. Possui passeios que da para contratar pela propria recepção do hostel. Recomendo.

Hospedagem com bom custo-benefício

Hostel bom e bem estruturado. Equipe ótima e atenciosa. Quando fizemos o checkout, muito cedo, às 5 da manhã, separaram um café da manhã para viagem, com biscoitos, frutas, suco de caixinha e alfajor. Muito amável. Os colchões poderiam ser um pouco mais firmes. Mas, de qualquer forma, ficamos bem instalados. Os objetos da cozinha poderiam estar mais limpos, mas isso depende mais da educação dos hóspedes do que da equipe do Hostel.

Nice hostel, friendly staff

Great friendly staff, organized early breakfast (takeaway) , had a buscard to borrow for a day. The room are old but renovated.

Primeira vez que me hospedo em um Hostel, e foi uma experiência muito agradável, desde a chegada até o check-out. Facilidade de check-in, atendimento excepcional, instalações limpas. Diferente do que havia lido nos comentários e no próprio site, o Hostel dispõe de unidades com sanitário/banho, dentro do quarto, o que para mim foi uma agradável surpresa. O staff é fora de série atendendo a todas as necessidades dos hóspedes. O único ponto que alertamos, é o acesso através de escadas, o que para quem tiver dificuldades de locomoção, é um complicador. (mas isso está descrito no site).

Recomendo.

O Hostel está bem localizado no centro da cidadcidade na esquina de 2 dias bem movimentadas. O pessoal é super atencioso, o hostel é charmoso, servem um bom desayuno e tem um solarium maravilhoso. O banheiro fica no corredor, mas cada quarto tem a chave do próprio banheiro, tem 2 andares e não tem elevador. Os quartos internos são menos ruidosos.

Excelente opción.

Hermoso edificio y gente muy cordial sus dueños. Se preocupan por mejorar el lugar. Estaban agrandando la cocina, los vimos trabajando hasta tarde para tener todo listo para el desayuno. A propósito, el desayuno muy abundante y completo. Si tengo que escribir algo para mejorar, solo cambiaría los colchones y las almohadas, al menos en la habitación que estuvimos. Eran un poco duros. Pero nada que no nos permita disfrutar de la hermosa ciudad de Mendoza. La terraza es increíble.

Hostel Agradável. No centro de Mendoza. Área de convivência no terraço. Café da manhã simples. Quarto amplo, mas banheiro (privativo) fica fora do quarto. É necessário sair do quarto e atravessar o corredor para usar o banheiro (exclusivo do quarto).

En general, mal experiencia!

Necesitamos pagar más pesos de lo que era citado en este sitio - a pesar de tener precios asegurados en el sitio la mujer dijó que necesitamos pagar su tipo de cambio que era mal. Los baños son privados pero son separados de las habitaciones y un día podíamos ver que nuestro fue usado por alguien cuando estábamos fuera del hostal y cuando pedimos la mujer era defensiva y grosera. El desayuno no era el mismo de lo que está mostrado en el sitio. En nuestro último día, nos pidieron muchas veces cuando salíamos así nos sentimos incómodas y apresuradas, como si fuéramos un inconveniente. En general nuestra experiencia era muy mala y no es recomendable

Confluencia hostel y suites

Muy buena ubicación, en el centro de mendoza, instalaciones algo austeras, sin embargo la atención y limpieza del hotel muy buenas. Desayuno adecuado. En general bien.

Justo y preciso

El hotel Confluencia, tiene lo que uno necesita limpieza, buenas camas, aire acondicionado, baño privado, buena atención, es simple, amplio, cómodo, buena ubicación y buen precio. Falta el televisor en la pieza para los fanáticos de la tv.
