Friendly hotel

The staff were super helpful, the location was good and the swimming pool was a pleasure. Breakfast was not bad and actually much better now that they have a new coffee machine. I enjoyed my stay there and if I ever go to Guayaquil again that's where I'll stay.

I will highly recommended to stay here, the employess where friendly and professionals, rooms were clean and not smelling. The only thing that bothered me is that if happend to go out even for 5 minutes you have to leave your room key at the front desk.

Those staff are super nice and very helpful. Very good management. This hotel close to airport withun 30 minutes walk. A big mall is clseby as well. I stayed three nights.

Personal muy amable, instalaciones limpias, buena ubicación, todo excelente

Room was clean and tidy. No bath mat, drinking glasses, hairdryer in room, washcloth or other items I felt should have been included in the price of the room.

You get what you pay for

Unless you are cash strapped or just need a place to crash, you'd be better off spending another 20 per night and getting a more quality place. There are no stairs (3 floors up with heavy luggage) the aircon did not work and the bed isnt comfy.

It was close to the airport and cheap. Those were the pluses. The staff did not speak English. The tub didn't drain. The a/c did not work well. It was not close to any restaurants.

Everything was either broken or not as advertised. Filthy. Staff only concerned with getting paid, then vanish.

Worst hostel in nine months of travelling

This place is run down, dirty, in a terrible location and it has the worst staff we saw in nine months of hosteling. They were consistently rude and unhelpful. When my children wanted to study in the dining room after breakfast, they turned off the AC. When we reported a plugged toilet, they refused to come and fix it for an entire day. They insisted on locking the front door 24 hours a day, but then would respond very slowly when you wanted to come in. Hard to believe the place is still in business.

Staff were amazingly helpful at all times of day

unhelpful staff and bad part of town. Dirty floors and sheets that would not stay on the bed. Giant crickets climbing stairs to rooms.

Available wifi,taxi service with confirmation. But

When we first checked in they could not find our reservation. Had to show them my confirmation number for them to entertain me. It took another 20 minuets for the room to be prepared. The laundry room which was advertised to be available to patrons was not. The pool could have been a little cleaner. There is no elevators and the individual that helped me to the third floor grabbed my two carry ons to assist me instead of one of my regular luggage.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone

I booked a king size bedroom for 11 days and every time I had a visiter they were charging me $12 for each person and just to let you know I was paying for a king size room and if I had someone to sleep over they still charge me the $12 and they don't let anybody or family members to go upstairs to visit also there was no hot water for two days I had the worst experience in this hotel ever and I will never ever go there again

close to airport and restaurants and Mall del Sol

very helpful staff with printing boarding passes. pool was under maintenance first day. open the next. very comfortable large bed and the A/C was very nice taking the humidity and heat away. typical big city noise was expected. apparently, my note upon booking online regarding my having a cat with me was not received or noticed and, after the first night, i was told that pets were not allowed but to just keep the cat in the room. altogether, i recommend this hotel for the comfort and location.

Clean and close to the airport

It was quick, we arrived in the middle of the night and were nicely greeted. Only 5-7 minutes away from the airport

Staff were pleasant but not too helpful. Accommodation was clean but not comfortable. No hot water!

Great spot close to the airport!

Was recommended to me, very happy I chose to stay here. People very friendly and appears to be family operated so I had confidence in its security. Loved that it is a few minutes from the airport because I missed my flight so was easy to book and get to. Bi-lingual for the most part too!

Close to the airport hostal

This is a clean, friendly-staffed hostal just a 5 minute taxi ride from the airport. Private baths with hot water and breakfast. Wi-fi available. Three story but no elevator. We have been here several times. I would rate it 2.5

Good hotel for a short stay!

Staff was very friendly and helpful ...... we even extended our stay for couple more days. Not a super hotel but very convenient and pleasant. I would recommend it to anybody on a short budget.

good overnighter

we needed a place to sleep for a few hours before our flight at 5:30 in the AM. arrived at 10 pm. didn't use any facilities, although they do have a pool. Price was reasonable. they were supposed to wake us at 3:30 and call a taxi for 3:45 and instead woke us at 3:45. Not that big a deal, although we were cutting it kind of close as it was. they did call a cab promptly, however. Comfortable bed, slightly noisy AC. We were in a room on third level which was a bit of a climb but staff did help carry luggage up.

The staff at this hotel are the best and most helpful in recent memory. We would highly recommend this hotel while stopping over in Guayaquil.

They bent over backwards to be of service

We arrived very early in the morning and they took very good care of us. Hotel very simple and basic but easy walk from airport. We would recommend (just not the coffee)!

Simple, clean, friendly, and good value

This is a basic hotel but seems like good value for the money. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I stayed here because I had to overnight from a flight and in the morning I walked to the airport. Took about 20 minutes and was a nice way to get ready for sitting on a plane for a long flight.

Close to the airport

We stayed for one night before a flight. Close to the airport. Also about 800m away from the large Mall del Sol, where we could do a bit of stocking up.

Convenient location

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport. The room was small but the staff were friendly and informative and the rooms were clean.

convenient to airport and bus terminal

we chose it because of a convenient location --and it was. the hotel was clean enough .the breakfast was not worth waiting for (it was served almost 30 minutes late --had i known that it was so basic, we would have left and taken an earlier bus ) -- but, if you aren't on a tight schedule, it was fine (scrambled egg, bread, piece of cheese, tea) the staff was friendly and helpful. i would stay there for a transfer night if needed in the future.

walking distance to airport on safe neighborhood

It takes 10 mins to walk to airport, so no need for taxi, couple restaurants across the street, not close to downtown but a $4 taxi will take you there, also big grocery store infront of airport is withing walking distance. Basically this is the cheapest option for a convenient place if you have an early morning flight next day and you want to have a pool to swin.

In between flights...

Coming into Guayaquil very late, we only need a place to sleep for a few hours & this fit the bill. A $5 cab fare (it was 12 midnight so the fare was more than usual) from the airport, a breakfast in the morning, and a staff that was pleasant. Certainly not 1st class, but good enough for our needs.

Nice hotel but noisy

The room was nicely furnished and had a comfy bed and great water pressure with plenty of hot water in the shower. The only problem that I had, as did another guest couple that I spoke with at breakfast, was how noisy the room was. The hotel is on a very busy street and traffic noise was a problem all night. Not a place for light or even medium sleepers.

Walking distance to airport close to amenities

8 short blocks to airport. Close to restaurants pharmacy gas station. Not privacy on pool. Good to sleep 1 night. Staff helpful and friendly. Neighborhood felt safe.KFC 2 blocks away. Chinese across street. Room very simple. Bed and old fashion tv. Air conditioning works. ASK FOR BACK ROOMS. Place is noisy and windows don't help isolating.

Very Enjoyable

Had a very nice stay. The staff were absolutely great. It helped that the manager is fluent in English. The breakfast was fine. Loved sitting by the pool after a long hot day in Guayaquil. The hotel felt very secure. Close to the airport and bus terminal.The Chinese restaurant across the road was excellent. If you leave the hotel and walk to the left there is a very good pizza joint 1 or 2 blocks away. Would and will stay there again.

No breakfast. Noisey road all night and could not close window. Nice and close to airport. Quite friendly staff but very little English spoken.

Good choice - Near Airport

Good choice for a traveller who just wants to stay near Guayaquil Airport. Do not expect luxury or something else. But everything was clean, very friendly staff, email previous to my arrival. My airline changed my flight almost to midnight so i had to write them informing that I would arrive about 1AM. I got a kind response in 5 minutes "No problem. We wait for you" Recommended.

Ok, aber Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht

Die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett und hat mir stets meine Fragen beantworten bzw. helfen können. Sie sprach gut Englisch, was in Ecuador keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist. Das Hostal war in Ordnung, könnte aber sauberer sein. An den Möbeln bzw. Wänden sah man zahlreiche Flecken. Das Hostal ist sehr hellhörig, man könnte durch den Spalt unter der Tür jedes Wort hören. Das Schloss funktionierte nur bedingt. Das Frühstück war Ok, jedoch stimmte für mich die Preis-Leistung nicht. 50 Euro die Nacht ist einfach zu teuer für das, was man im Endeffekt kriegt.

FALTA DE SERIEDAD EN RESERVACIÓN

Yo hice una reserva de 2 habitaciones individuales tal y como consta en mi confirmación, pero los administradores se lavaron las manos y dijeron que es un error de expedia y hotels.com y que no era problema de ellos, que hay un mal entendido y que no son 2 habitaciones, sino 1 habitación compartida con dos camas, lo cual no es lo mismo ni aquí ni en la China... Al final termine aceptando por el cansancio y para evitar nuevos desplazamientos. Ya una vez ahí, no servia el aire acondicionado y no había mucha agua... Osea pésimo... Yo en lo personal JAMAS volveré a reservar en ese hotel y en la pagina Hotels.com, porque no se respeta lo que indican...

Solo estuve unas horas porque debía salir en la madrugada al aeropuerto. El personal muy amable y la ubicación perfecta. Solo les recomendaría que la información acerca de la "Habitación Comprtida" sea más clara y completa. Al llegar a la misma me di cuenta que podían llegar al igual que yo, 5 personas mas a la misma habitación, algo inaceptable... Por suerte esa noche solo estuve yo.

Lo más flojito de Ecuador

A un compañero no le respetaron la reserva, y después de darnos una excusa muy mala y como estaban llenos, tuvimos que compartir habitación. Los colchones malos, la tv vieja, la iluminación es tipo estación de policía. Para rematar, el desayuno lo sirven a las 7:30am, pero sólo cuando se les da la gana. La cocinera llegó a las 8:00am, entonces tuvimos que salir a buscar dónde comer para llegar a tiempo. Resumiendo, es como irse a quedar a donde un primo lejano que no tenía muchas ganas de recibirte e hizo todo lo posible para que no regreses.

Mal cuidado

Hace falta una buena administracion, olvidan preparar una habitación para dos personas, la primera impresión fue terrible, el piso anegado de agua, la televisión nunca funciono, no había papel en el sanitario y lo del desayuno incluido es mentira, sobre todo si sale a las 8 de la mañana

es un hotel que podría mejorar en sus televisores

Por su infraestructura los precios deberian ser mas comodos
