Property is good for price, it basically in the heart of Madrid and you can move anywhere using the metro or just walk. Good place to stay if you’re on a budget for multiple cities or euro trip

I reserved a room here from the US and paid $70 a night. The pension otherwise charges only Euros 40 a night. I was glad to have a place to stay after a long flight but I still think I was ripped off. The room was very basic but comfortable with a shared bathroom. The pension has a convenient refrigerator and microwave in the hallway. The man in charge was kind and helpful.

The building was old, with a very small elevator. It can hardly carry one person with one luggage. If you take the stairs becareful, they are uneven. The room was large, with a fridge, points for this. The washroom was shared and clean. This place transported me back in time. It is an old place and dark, but it is very well located, close to the Metro, restaurants, atractions etc.. It is worth to stay there and safe, there is a store close by.

Very difficult to find this property and room are very small but ok at this price

La cama perfecta

The bed and pillow were perfect, service and cleanliness were great, restrooms were clean and it was wonderful to have more than one restroom option. That's rare! I will be staying again the next time I'm in Madrid.

Exclent apt. and great location

Modern, clean, very nicely appointed apartment. An easy ten minute walk to the center of Porto. Very quiet at night. Two cafes a few steps away and a major supermarket around the corner, three minute walk. We had a minor issue with the stove, but the owners responded immediately by Whatsapp and it was a simple fix. Appreciated their prompt response. Highly recommended!

Good location and nice property manager. The room is noisy and close to the main street. Also only 2 bathrooms in the flat

Cleanliness and friendly staff.

Location is great in walking distance to all mayor attractions, very clean bathrooms (sharable) the only thing that needs to improve are the beds and a room tv will make it more entertained.

Well-placed well-priced accommodation in walking distance of Plaza Mayor and all central points of interest. Clean shared bathrooms. Only negative: unsmiling "welcome" and unfriendly notice on door telling people not to ring the bell unless they have a reservation - so we can get on with our work.

Difficult to find hotel since it is inside an apartment building. This should be clear before guest arrival. Linens were not changed or replaced during 3 day stay. Concierge was surly and uncommunicative. I knocked at the office door to ask for fresh towels, but though I could hear the television on in there, nobody answered.

Simple unassuming but perfectly placed

Very simple hostal, very basic but does exactly as required. The position of this is superb. Dead centre. 1 mins from Plaza Santa Ana.

This is an affordable place to stay. Kept clean. Good location. Lift available but small (2 people max). Bad internet inside room.

Solo Traveler

Stayed three nights and never was changed the towel (1), same towel for 3 days, garbage can was changed only the first day. The room does not have a/c, just a sink and closet, small table and folding chair. Wifi was good, it was included with no restrictions on time, it was a big plus. Location was very good, a few minutes from the metro station, and walking minutes to El Sol.

Very practical and close to the Gran Vía

The place is very close to the center making it an strategic point, the installations are not the best but the attention more than compensates, this is an hotel you would stay if you're backpacking or looking for a very economic fee, hence the review is according to the price.

Very Central location, Basic but recommended

Wanted a simple basic place to stay that wouldn't hit the budget too much. Essentially a place to just lay my head while I spend the day time enjoying the city. This was ideal. Very Cheap, no frills but comfortable and clean. City centre just outside the front door. I would use again.

The heater in room didn't work well so I felt cold. And the bed always makes sounds when I tossed or turned.

Ok hostal to sleep and take a shower

I got what I paid for, a tiny size bedroom with tiny walking space for 2 people, very clean, though. No kitchen or table for you to eat there, but there's a small fridge to keep your food fresh. Anyways, you will always find something to eat anywhere you walk to. Metro station is 2 mins. Walking distance, literally. I recommend it for young people who don't mind the after hours noice.

Not top quality but cheap

It was the cheapest hostel available when we booked and that's exactly what we've got. The one-person staff was friendly. The room wasn't perfectly clean but the beds were and that was good enough for us. If you want to simply sleep for cheap it's ok.

Cut my stay short!

Walls so thin you can hear all the screaming and shouting of other guests. One fridge and one microwave but nowhere to prepare food or any plates or utensils. Room so small you can barely move. Blinds didn't come fully down.. Peeping neighbours. Bedroom and bathroom very clean and tidy. Cheap but definitely not cheerful

Hostal Pacios infront of St. Sebastian Church

Emilio, that is who greeted me when I arrived little after noon time was very friendly. The room was cleaned everyday. There is an elevator if you want to avoid steps. I guess it is quite descent for the price you pay.

Brilliant stay for 4 nights. Really friendly welcome late at night, given a clean and spacious room. Great location - right in the middle of everything, Plaza de Santa Ana right across from us with a mixture of bars, restaurants and clubs on the door step.

SRO???

This hostel has a very high population density. It appear to have a fair number of long term renters. The English term for this sort of facility is SRO (single room only). If you want to spend your vacation with people who are struggling to get by and can only afford a room with no cooking facilities, this hostel is what you get. There is basically 1 shower for 10 rooms. They do their best to keep it clean, but it is a struggle with the population density. I very carefully planned my showers at low traffic times. I really liked the location, but, if I return to Madrid, I will stay elsewhere.

Close to center of Madrid, decent

Definitely great location, right next to Reina Sofia and a five minute walk from the Anton Martin metro stop, within walking distance of all the major plazas. The rooms are small and a little like jail cells, but a great value for the price. Each room had its own sink, and the shared bathrooms are in good condition, fairly clean. Small beds, clean sheets, and towels provided. Wifi works, and you can go and come as you please.

La habitación estaba bien, con lo necesario para descansar. Hay tres baños, dos de ellos con ducha. Estaba todo limpio. Muy cerca de Sol. Silencioso. Pudimos dejar las maletas y recogerlas mas tarde.

Bien ubicado

La señora que nos recibió y nos entregó las llaves fue muy amable, nos recomendó varios sitios alrededor y nos resolvió todas las dudas que teníamos. Buena calefacción y ubicación

Buena ubicación pero demasiado básico. La habitación da a la calle Atocha, por lo que es ruidosa (tráfico de coches y gente toda la noche).

Boa estadia no centro de Madrid

O anfitrião é muito bom, ajuda os hóspedes em suas solicitações. Voltaria a me hospedar. Ótima localização e relação preço x qualidade. Tem um supermercado pertinho. O prédio é antigo, mas tem elevador. Tudo certo.

Fácil de llegar y muy central para conocer Madrid

Muy buen lugar, excelente ubicación fácil de llegar, muy cerca del metro, cerca de la estación de trenes Atocha, cerca de muchos lugares turísticos, llegas caminando a cualquier lado, la única observación y no es tanto problema es que como las camas son de madera cualquier movimiento que haces rechinan muchísimo. Pero muy recomendable, si llegas muy temprano te cuidan las maletas hasta el checkin. los baños son compartidos pero muy limpios, hay un horno por si compras comida del super y un refri en la recámara. hay un mercado cerca. Muy recomendable. excelente elección.

Au coeur de la ville séjour très agréable à l'hôtel Pacios. Nous étions 3 et avons bénéficié d'une chambre quadruple... tout était très propre. Pour un prix très raisonnable !

La zona es muy centrica

La habitacion es amplia y comoda, el baño estaba un poco sucio y lo peor de todo que en 4 noche no nos cambiaron las sabanas y no te hacen nada de limpieza...luego si vienen huspedes tarde al tocar el tiembre molesta mucho al igual q las voces que dan al explicarle como funciona el hostal

La habitación y estancias comunes estaba todo correcto pero todo muy justito (limpieza, atención, etc.) El ascensor es pequeñísimo, por lo que, dudo mucho que una persona en silla de ruedas pudiera entrar. Por otro lado, se le solicitó una habitación donde se pudieran juntar las dos camas individuales... se entiende que no pueden conceder las peticiones de todo el mundo pero la habitación era súper alargada haciendo imposible ni siquiera el intento de juntar las habitaciones. Como positivo: ubicación, precio, lavabo en la habitación y que tenía de todo (aunque de calidades y limpiezas mínimas).

Location of the hostal is nearby area Sol. There is a supermarket nearby. I had a great time there. Hostal staff couldn’t speak English well, but we managed it with hands en feet 😊

Me parece una excelente opción, es una ubicación privilegiada, en el mero centro pero no escuchas el ruido de la ciudad, y si aprecias tu privacidad los cuartos singles tienen un muy buen precio para tener lo esencial, a demás el lugar esta impecable, todo esta en muy buen estado, y las regaderas son muy buenas.

le moins cher qu'on ai pu trouver au centre de madrid, accueil nickel. personnel très gentil et poli, toilettes communes toujours propres tout comme le reste des parties communes. Il y a également un frigo et un micro onde à disposition. Top pour un séjour entre amis si vous ne voulez pas payer trop cher. Je conseille !!

Nos sorprendió para bien, camas cómodas, lo único la almohada, pero cuando estás cansado duermes del tirón. La limpieza fue buena aunque podría ser mejor y los baños también bastante bien a pesar de ser comunes mucha limpieza

Excelente atención

Yiyi, el encargado del hostal es una persona muy amable y está atento a las necesidades de quien se aloja. El lugar es sencillo, muy tranquilo, no se escuchan ruidos, la limpieza está en excelentes condiciones. está muy bien ubicado, a 6 cuadras de la plaza mayor y 6 de puerta del sol.

It's a well located place. All the main attractions you can go walking. Also, there's a supermarket one block away. And they offer microwave in the place so you can save some money buying precooked food. When I go again I'll certainly book there. Thank you.

I didn't expect an air conditioner because it was a cheap room, but there was an air conditioner in the other rooms by the small window. Noise and hot heat enter the room. The room smelled of sewers and was poorly cleaned. The owner was very cynic and had no kindness. While operating for foreigners, he spoke only Spanish unilaterally, not English. 저렴한 방이기 때문에 에어콘을 기대하진 않았지만 작은 창 옆으로 다른 방들의 에어컨 실외기가 놓여있었다. 소음과 더운 열기가 방으로 들어온다. 방은 하수구 냄새가 났으며 청소상태가 좋지 않았다. 주인은 매우 냉소적인 사람이고 아무런 친절도 없었다. 외국인 대상으로 영업을 하면서도 영어를 쓰지 않고 일방적으로 스페인어만 해댔다.

Me gustó que está muy bien situado y que es tranquilo. Lo malo es a la hora de aparcar el coche, porque lo tienes que dejar en el parking, lo cual es carísimo

el hostal se encuentra muy bien situado, cerca de supermercados, el metro y a poca distancia de sitios de interes.

Als je naar iets simpels opzoek bent en een goede locatie is dit een ideaal hostel. Alles goed op loopafstand. Van de kamer moet je niet veel verwachten maar dat is logisch voor de prijs die je betaald.

호스텔이 마드리드 중심지에 있어서 좋았구 체크아웃시간이 12시여서 좋았다 그리구 호스텔 샤워실과 시설이 깔끔해서 좋았다

De resto muy ruidoso. La gente escandalosa, sin respeto. Cobraron 1 euro por cada bolso y maleta que dejamos 1 hora antes de la entrada y no lo devoñvieron.

Hostal económico,centro de madrid

Hostal económico limpio en el centro de la ciudad,si lo que quieres es un alojamiento donde solo dormir y ducharte es ideal. El único inconveniente es el calor de la habitación x lo demás es correcto. Habitación pequeña,la habitación de Epi y Blas(barrio sésamo).

シングルルームに滞在。レセプションのおじいちゃんはスペイン語only。音はだだ漏れ。でもまぁ最低限は揃ってるし、リネン類はちゃんとしてたので寝るだけ1、2泊くらいならどうにかなる感じ。バスルームがふたつと、別でトイレがひとつ。朝時間がかぶると混み合う。水圧弱め、お湯もたっぷりとは言い難くタイミングによるかも。場所はメイン通り沿いで分かりやすいです。

Obviamente no volvería a hospedarme allí. El senor que atiende es MUY poco flexible... la limpieza y la ubicación son aspectos que si debo remarcar.

Idiotisk ejer men god beliggenhed

For det første var det umuligt at komme i kontakt med hotellet (vi kom uden for åbningstider og de skrev, at man i så fald skulle kontakte dem). Ringede til dem 50 gange på tre uger og skrev mange mails. De svarede to dage før ankomst. Ikke den bedste start. Da vi så kommer kl 01 om natten smækker ejeren vrissent døren i hovedet på os og afviser os. Han kan ikke ét ord på engelsk men forsøger at vise, at jeg i hvert fald ikke har bestilt noget værelse. Viser ham vores email-korrespance, men han afviser alt. Jeg bliver stående i over en halv time af ren irritation, for jeg VED, jeg har betalt for opholdet hjemmefra. Til sidst åbner jeg hans personale-dør og åbner mit passport og kræver, at han læser for første gang mit navn. Han anerkender så, at jeg faktisk har et værelse, som han ved en "fejl" har givet to andre piger et kvarter før vores ankomst. Vi var altså en dreng og en pige afsted, så han har ikke styr på noget som helst og har ikke engang gidet læse, om det er de korrekte personer. Under al kritik. Man kan ikke komme i kontakt med ham, da han ikke kan sige noget andet end på spansk, det er ikke så optimalt heller. Beliggenheden var kanon til gengæld. Rengøring OK. Badeforhold OK. Hårde senge, synes vi. Jeg synes ikke, det var pengene værd med den service, der var.

Piccolo, scomodo, ma vicino al centro

Abbiamo prenotato una camera matrimoniale. la camera era piccolissima trasformata in camera matrimoniale, non c'era spazio neanche per camminare un po. pero l'albergo molto vicino al centro.

Agradable estadía en el centro de Madrid

Llegamos a dejar nuestras maletas temprano y después a las 14hs volvimos a hacer el check in. El señor nos llevó a un hostal a la vuelta de ese, cuyo nombre era Hostal Magdalena y era muy bueno y limpio!

Мы останавливались в хостелы две ночи, большим достоинством является его расположение, но постоянные проблемы с интернетом и отсутствие нормальной вентиляции портят все впечатление. Так же чистота комнат вызывала сомнение.

Malos servicios del hotel

No recomendaría este hostal, llegamos una hora antes del check in la persona que nos recibio muy déspota, no permitio que se quedara mi hijo con las maletas en el área común, debía quedarse en el pasillo o abajo. Si queríamos dejar las maletas teníamos que pagar un euro por cada una (lo cual nunca se indicó). Mencionaba que todas las habitaciones tengan ventilador en el techo, lo cual al menos en la habitación que tuvimos no era verdad. Reservamos por 5 noches y nunca nos cambiaron toallas, ni hicieron aseo en la habitación, ni hicieron las camas. En esa misma calle gay más de 15 hostales, así que recomendaría pedir en otros lados informes

Llegamos y oh, oh, sorpresa, no tenemos habitación

Negativa, ya que llegamos al Hostal, y nos dice el dueño que ha habido un error y que no tenemos habitación. Menos mal que nos busco otro hostal cerca de allí, pero como le dije, lo mínimo en avisar al cliente antes del viaje y comentar el problema, no que llegues allí y te encuentres con la situación.

Habitación demasiado pequeña para una persona y nos metieron a 2, en literas y tenia las sabanas sucias

Muy recomendable el hostal, muy cerca del centro y tranquilo.
