Great location. Right in the middle of Gran Via. The hostel has a really tiny sign and is located on part of the floor of a residential building. The room was really small. We had our own bathroom but the bathroom was extremely small to a point where you can't wash your face in the sink without splashing water all over yourself and you can put your head on the sink sitting on the toilette....Unexpectedly small.....But the room was cheap...

Looks very dirty and unsafe. Communication of the staff was so bad, no english too.

The location for this hostal is perfect. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable.

My stay at Hostal Madrid Inn was very pleasing. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. It is located 1 block off of Gran Via, so it is really one of the most convenient locations to stay in Madrid. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely simple hostel!

The location of this hostel is its huge selling point, it's so close to so many areas, and only a couple of minutes walk from Gran Via. Only 10 minutes or so from masalaña and chueca, and 10-15 minutes from Plaza Mayor and the market. The hostel itself is safe and clean, and all the staff are very friendly. They will look after your bags if you arrive early or need to leave after check in which is a really nice bonus. The room is basic, but clean, and can be cleaned every day if you wish. We sometimes couldn't get comfy in the beds, but obviously this is down to personal preference! The rooms were always cool and clean. The only downside is that we didn't have a safe, so we left everything locked in our bags. Other than that it's great value and we'd be happy to stay again.

Great location and cute

This is in a fantastic location, only a few minutes walking to Sol, and right by great shopping and eating. My only complaint is that it was a bit difficult to find, with the hostal name advertised up on the 4th floor, and descretly on the entryway door. You can either walk from the Sol or Calleo Metro stations to get there. The room was very cute, especially how they situate the towels. It felt very fancy. Small room, but was plenty of space for just me.

Our only quibble was that the room was literally across the hall from the registration cubicle. It had little in the way of space to stretch out in, but it was cozy & comfy.

When I arrived at Hostal Madrid I was told there was no booking even when I showed them my expedia reservation. I was booked into another hotel for the night where I had to pay cash then move back to Hostal Madrid for the other 2 nights. I will not use expedia again. Bill Hughes

Pleasantly Surprised

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The location was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a small room but it was very efficiently set up. Loved it.

Good with a promotional rate

Very well located hostal. Room very well maintained. Little espace but very well managed to avoid feeling trapped. Clean and luminous although only has a small window without view. The front desk girl is extremely helpful, sweet and kind. The aisle is too narrow I guess because is an old historical building built to be a home. I would go back with a good promotional rate because the normal fare is too much for what is to offer.

Affordable, clean hotel with a good location

I arrived in Madrid around 10:30AM, well before the usual 1:00 check in time, but Hostal Madrid Inn was very helpful and kindly allowed me to check in early to my room. The room was clean and pleasant and not overly noisy. I also liked that the hotel was within easy walking distance of many of Madrid's main attractions as well as public transit.

Excellent location. Basic but perfect

I think the title says it all. If you are travelling alone and dont require luxury then this is the place to stay.

superb location, helpful staff

3 mins walk from CALLAO metro! locates at the city center, most of the spots in walking distance! the room was kind of fully equipped, with towels, shampoo, shower gel and hair blower. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.

The teeny tiny room

God bless the photographers of Madrid, because they made this diminutive room look normal sized. We could wash our hands while sitting on the toilet, and had to walk sideways around the bed That being said, the bed was comfortable and the room clean and well kept, and there are larger rooms available. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. And the location can't be beat. Walking distance to all the major museums and tourist areas Don't forget that this pension is on the 4th floor of the building, and not the ground floor. It's common in Madrid for the pensions to not be on the ground floor. One building had 9 separate pensions in it.

We enjoyed our stay

The staff were friendly and helpful. It's located a couple of blocks from a metro stop and just up the street from Puerto del Sol. Lot's of places to eat close by, and the big shopping center (El Corte Ingles) was just across the street, which was convenient for postal needs. The room was small but very modern and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel in a very good location. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are well furnished with everything you could need.

Great Value for Location

This hostel serves the traveler who is looking for a central location in Madrid, a clean room and good service. Granted the rooms are a bit small, but the price is affordable. If you are looking for luxury, seek another location for your stay. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while touring Madrid, and it proved to be a good find. No complaints or suggestions for improvement. The staff was very attentive and gracious.

Exceptional value

Small hotel offering great value for the rates charged. Excellent location at the very heart of Madrid. Situated on the 4th floor of a larger building the hotel is modern and well maintained. As well as a room key you are given a front door key to the main building and to the hotel. The receptionist has excellent English. In short an ideal base - close to a metro station -to explore Madrid for a few days.

Estupendo hostal en pleno centro.

Hostal 100% recomendable. En pleno centro (entre Gran Vía y Doña Manolita), moderno, decorado con gusto, cómodo, limpio y muy tranquilo, a pesar de estar en una zona tan llena de gente. Y sus responsables son muy amables, es bonito que te reciban con tanta amabilidad, un 10 para ellos.

Very friendly family-run hotel. Everything was perfect. The rooms were cute and clean and the hotel is centrally located in the heart of Madrid right near the Plaza de Sol.

Muy bien todo

Muy lindo y acogedor lugar. La ubicación es excelente y la habitación es muy práctica, cómoda y limpia. La gente en recepción muy simpática y servicial. Me dejaron botellas de agua en el frigobar que vino muy bien dado que llegué muy tarde (23:30-45) debido a un retraso en el avión hacia Madrid, por lo tanto las ganas de tener que salir a comprar eran muy pocas. Definitivamente cuando vuelva a Madrid me volveré a hospedar aquí.

Un mixe entre l'hotel et la maison d'hote

Lieu assez intimiste on se croirait dans un appart... en effet il faut monter au 4eme etage du batiment... l'ensemble est correcte... lit douillet + sanitaire... juste le minimum de confort... ps / la chambre 3 remontée d'odeur des evacuations...

El hotel fantástico relación calidad precio excelente la atención excelente la ubicación no podía estar mejor .Cerca de todo ideal para quienes quieren disfrutar y conocer Madrid a pasitos de la gran Vía. Limpio y Ordenado no tengo más palabras realmente pasamos bárbaro. La cama impecable todo my bien.

Refugio en la Gran Vía

Zona supercentrica, en pleno centro de Gran Vía. El personal muy amable, entramos de madrugada y salimos muy pronto por la mañana y el trato perfecto. El edificio es un poco antiguo y el ascensor da un poco de mal rollo, pero el piso está reformado con un aspecto moderno. La habitación estaba bien de tamaño, lo que si, el baño era demasiado pequeño, era un armario transformado en baño. El ruido exterior en algunos momentos era demasiado, a pesar de ser un cuarto piso. Las puertas hacían demasiado ruido

La habitación estaba muy limpia. Los trabajadores muy amables. Situado a pasos de Gran Vía. Lo único que echamos en falta fue que pusieran un frigorífico pequeño para almacenar agua. Recomendado 100%

Hôtel raisonnable, bien situé

Hôtel de proximité, très bonne connexion avec la Gran Via (central). Proche de tous l’espace magasins. Prix très raisonnables pour 3 nuit. Accueil chaleureux du personnel. Chambre raisonnable, literie ok, salle de bain propre. Seul bémol sur l’hôtel : nous étions pile poil à l’entrée de l’hôtel, en face de l’accueil. Beaucoup de passage, les gens parlent trop fort, bruyant, lumière du couloir qu’on eclaire l’an chambre toute la nuit.

La habitación es perfecta para pasar una noche. Para más días creo que es algo pequeña

Waren zuerst etwas skeptisch wegen 1*. Nette Betreuber, hilfsbereit, sauberes Zimmer, Toplage. Gerne wieder einmal.

Muito bem localizado, a moça da recepção super simpática e prestativa. O quarto amplo e confortável, banheiro pequeno, mas funcional. Elevador pequeno, cabem somente 2 pessoas por vez. Chegamos antes do horário do check in, mas a moça já nos liberou e ainda nos recebeu com um ganso de toalha na cama e jujubas. Gostamos bastante. Ficamos apenas 2 dias, mas de forma muito corfortavel.

Aunque se encuentra en un 4o piso, el acceso no es complicado. Te dan llave y puedes entrar y salir cuantas veces quieras. Es un lugar pequeño sí, pero también cómodo y tiene lo que necesitas. Volvería sin dudarlo. La ubicación es excelente.

A foto utilizada no site para mostrar o quarto não condiz com a realidade. Qdo vc se depara com a realidade se sente enganado. Pegar o “melhor” quarto e mostrar como sendo o padrão é no mínimo inconsequência . Dimensões reduzidíssimas e com um serviço de arrumação que deixa a desejar. Qto a localização érxcelente

Super endroit

Endroit à conseiller car très bien situe en plein centre ville, avec toutes les commodités à proximité immédiate. Propreté irréprochable, très bon rapport qualité prix pour le quartier.

Muy buena opción para unos días

Lo mejor del hostal es su situación privilegiada en pleno centro de Madrid, muy cerca de todo. En cuanto a las instalaciones, las habitaciones quizás se hagan un poco pequeñas, pero por su precio están bastante más que justificado. La atención del personal es magnfica y están atentos a cualquier tema que surja. Todos los días limpian las habitaciones y en cuanto al ruido, cero! Por las noches no se escuchaba nada! Globalmente hemos tenido una muy buena experiencia. Volveremos en nuestras próximas visitas a Madrid, seguro!

Baños minúsculos, habitación muy ruidosa (se oía todo: otras habitaciones, la recepción, el timbre, los vecinos de las plantas de abajo...), cama sucia (edredón y cojines olían mal). A favor: Personal amable y muy céntrico.

hostal muy bien ubicado

Un hostal muy bien ubicado cerca de todo, el personal súper amable y nos ayudaron con todo lo que pedimos. El estado de la habitación estaba algo desmejorado y el cuarto de baño algo incómodo. Estuvimos solo dos noches y como solo lo usamos para bañarnos y dormir estuvo bien, es lo que pretendíamos en relación al precio. No se puede pedir mucho más. Lo mejor sin duda es su buena ubicación cerca de todo.

Hotel en buen estado, reforma reciente, limpio y bonito. Muy céntrico, pero el tamaño de la habitación es muy reducido, al menos la que tuvimos. Pero en linias generales, recomendable.

Ótima estadia, localização excelente

Ótimo local para hospedagem. A equipe de atendimento é muito simpática e gentil. O quarto é confortável e limpo. O banheiro também era limpo. As instalações condizem com as fotos apresentadas no site. A localização é muito boa, próxima a estação de metrô Sol, à Puertas del Sol, Gran via e da Plaza Mayor,é possível ir caminhando para diversos pontos turístico, também há bastantes bares e restaurantes nos arredores. Recomendo a hospedagem.

El hotel no está mal, lo mejor la ubicación, la entrada a la habitación que nos toco no me gustó nada, había que subir unas escaleras estrechas y empinadas, la ventana de la habitación daba para un tejado de tejas muy antiguo, por lo demás, todo bien, pero mejorable.

Está muy bien ubicado cerca de todas las zonas turísticas. Muy limpio y con una excelente atención.

Location very good. Room very small for a couple but it's OK for 1 or 2 days. Staff correct. Cleanliness good. Overall experience very good taking in mind the price paid (around 60-65 €/day) and location.

Centrale e colorato

Differente dal "classico" hotel italiano, troverete delle camere confortevoli, colorate, e pulite al 4piano di un palazzo comodo a metro e via dello shopping. Ottimo per chi cerca un punto d'appoggio per la.scoperta di Madrid senza pretendere colazione in camera. Dovendo fare un appunto, personalmente non amo gli ascensori di piccole dimensioni ed ho sempre usato le scale. Personale disponibile e, molto apprezzato, ci hanno custodito i bagagli fino a tardo pomeriggio, consentendoci di sfruttare anche l'ultimo giorndiin libertà. Nei dintorni ci sono un sacco di locali per prima colazione ma anche per pranzo o cena. Al di fuori delle mete tradizionali, consiglio di perdersi nei quartieri limitrofi alla scoperta di veri gioielli(culinari, architettonici, artistici)

Hadde det helt supert! Hyggelig betjening, men litt dårlig engelsk kunnskaper. Men Google Translate er redningen. De var veldig serviceminded og rommet ble fint vasket hver dag.

立地最高、ミニマムなホステル

　地下鉄とRenfeの3駅の中心に位置する最高の立地。ホステルは食堂がないが、バル・レストランはもちろん、はす向かいのデパート内にスーパーもあるので問題ない。ザラ本店をはじめショッピングもすべて徒歩圏。 　便利さと引き替えに部屋はとても狭く、大型のスーツケースは開けないが、清潔でタオルももちろん交換してくれる。コーヒーセットもなくプラスチックの使い捨てコップしかないのが難点だが、言えば電気湯沸かし器は貸してくれる。また、スペインの安い宿にはティッシュがないので、スーパーで購入する必要がある。6号室は隣がシャワーを使うと轟音で目が覚めたが、1号室は静かだった。 　フロントは昼は英語が通じるが、夜勤の人は通じない。しかしみな親切で、パソコンの翻訳で用は足りた。一番問題なのは、ホテルの名称が集合住宅のピンポンにしか表記されていないため外から分からないことだろう。眼鏡屋と土産物屋に挟まれた10と番地の書かれた鉄格子が入口です。5階までエレベーターで上るとようやくホステルです。

Preço elevado para a qualidade apresentada.

Não gostei, quarto demasiado pequeno, WC muito pequeno, preço alto para a relação qualidade. Quase que não me consegui mexer no quarto de tão pequeno. Não volto a repetir.
