This property is within a 10 minute walking distance from Gran Via and 15 minutes to the Royal Palace, room was basic but very clean and modern, excellent value for the price, if your looking for a base to explore Madrid then I would recommend this property.

The Hostel is really quiet overall. The check in process was really smooth and easy. The room was clean but, the beds wasn't as comfortable as we wished.

It was centrally located and had a lot of options for shopping, eating and drinking. It is a very nice place to stay, the rooms are clean, updated and comfortable and staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent hostel located in the heart of the center of Madrid. All the tourist spots in the center are a maximum of 15 minutes walking distance. The staff is very attentive and kind. The cleanliness of the entire hotel, the room and the bathrooms were impeccable. The room size is very comfortable by European standards. The bathroom is very spacious with towels, soap and shampoo. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. You can't hear any sounds from neighboring rooms or the street even though they are full of bars and restaurants. I would stay there again without thinking about it on my next visit to Madrid.

fine for price

Everything was very good inside the building, but the windows could not keep out the noise from the street. Lots of late partiers. We didnt not sleep because of the street noise.

It was ok

The check in went well Good location, Few minutes walk to Sol (metro lines 1 2 3). Very nice coffee place near the hostal also a nice small bar. Now, Not sure we had cold air cond. only hot The wifi worked on and off The elevator didn't work when we had to check-out in the early morning... no staff around that time.

Very good location in the Madrid area , close to everything there , only negative thing on this property is that the ac is controlled by the staff and if they are cold it will be hot in your room if you turn the a/c on

Property is perfectly located, so that you can walk to hundreds of restaurants, convenience stores, and all tourist attractions. Staff is very friendly and they keep the facility extremely clean.

Lovely hotel

Nice hotel, simple design and layout. Clean and safe. Close to Prado and short walk to main parts of city.

The hostle was clean and the room was updated. Staff was nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working during my one night stay. They promptly called a technician but it was not resolved during my stay. There was a slight sewer smell coming from the bathroom.

Clean

Trash bags from housekeeping left along hallways, small elevator, thin bedding and very uncomfortable mattress, very low ceilings. Rooms different from pictures.

It was ok for a couple nights. Good location. Very convenient.

Great stay overall for the price

It was great for the price, central location, but not too loud. The only problem is that they have limited time for the front desk, so we had to walk 6 mins to a different hostal to pick up the key because we arrived at 10:34 pm instead of 10:30 pm the latest, even though I asked them to wait for 10 mins.

Hostel Lisboa was great! Exceeded our expectations. Walkable to everything. Loved the neighborhood and the Felix coffee shop across the street was amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Great stay, staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. The room was clean, location is perfect, the only downside is the size of the room. We were in 3 and had little space to setup luggage, walk, bathroom sharijg, etc.. but the value worth it anyway.

Comfortable bed in a clean and spacious room with a nice closet and modern bathroom (loved the light up sink) Very quiet despite the city being at your doorstep, highly recommended!

I asked for a double room, as shown in the photo, Orbitz told me it had more square feet. They gave me a very small room, with super small beds, in an attic. Nothing to do with the pictures.

Very convenient for the major attractions in the city. Comfortable accommodation. Would be good if there was a seating area outside, but appreciate this would probably not be possible due to the fact that there is very little outdoor space around the hotel

Hostal was very clean and quiet and in a fantastic location, easy walk to sights, restaurants, tapas bars, and public transportation. Great value, would stay again.

Room is clean but has no windows. It is ok to sleep there. The elevator operation was not great to know how it operates. Confusion to open the door of it

This location is very close to the Plaza Mayor, everything is walking distance. Price is very affordable. I would love to stay in this place again and will recommend to family & friends.

Great small hotel

A great small hotel in a fantastic location. Parking could be difficult but we didn’t have a car so it wasn’t an issue. I look forward to staying here again.

Updated room with good AirCon and comfortable beds. Plan on a few minutes to get hot water in the shower, but once it is there, it was plentiful. Good location between Plaza Santa Ana and the Prado.

Madrid Soi

We didn't have big expections for the place. However overall we had pleasant stay. Rooms cleaned every day, bathroom newly renovated. The only thing is getting single beds instead of double. Good location though

Great place close to the sights in Madrid. We were able to get an early check-in (9am), which was great after an overnight flight from the US.

Great Room, Bad Plumbing Odor on Top Floor

Everything about this hotel was great except the sewer smell in our room. I'm not sure if this was just limited to rooms on the top floor as I never saw any reviews regarding this issue. When we were in the room for a while we didn't notice it, but it was pretty pungent upon entry and didn't leave a great first impression. Apart from the smell, the room itself was spacious and clean, and was in a great location.

Good value for money.

Only a couple of minutes' walk from the Prado, hotel is in a small road. Pity there was no breakfast, but fortunately in Spain finding food of any kind is not difficult. Good value for money.

Great Renovated Hotel in the Heart of Old Madrid

Very impressed by the Hotel Residencia Lisboa. Excellent value for money choice in the center of the historic area. I had a twin room (2 single beds) that was quite spacious, including a desk area and open wardrobe. A mini-safe too. It's obvious that the hotel has been recently renovated. Electrical wiring included USB charging ports. The bathrooms had large "rainforest" shower heads. Location is hard to beat. About two blocks from beautiful Plaza Santa Ana, about 10 minutes to walk to the Prado or Museo Thyssen. I would definitely stay again if the prices remain about the same. Only a few small issues. They put me in a room on the 4th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 3rd, so this could be a problem for people with mobility challenges. The reception is not staffed 24 hours, so if you arrive very late, you have to check-in at another hotel some distance away. Since it IS in the center of the nightlife district, it can be hard to sleep if carousers in the street keep up the noise level until all hours of the night.

Hidden Little Gem

Great find. Stayed here with a group of friends and it was close to everything we needed and wanted to be around. The name hostal is misleading because this is really a nice hotel. I will stay here again I'm the future.

Super Location!z

Excellent location and a very quiet room! Five minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Prado and many delicious topas bars on Calle de Jesus. Very clean and the air conditioning worked perfect.

We stayed here after landing in Madrid and before returning home. The hotel is in walking distance to the three best museums. Nice Plaza nearby for food and drinks

This Hostal is simply excellent. Everything was great.

Great location but noisy street

Noisy street but nice room. Garbage collection machines outside window and people leaving clubs are noisy all night.

Good location and nice room

Nice location close to the centre and restaurants but not too close to pubs and bars so we can have quiet nice sleep. We are three of us got a quadruple room which is big, neat and tidy. Although check in took a bit of time it is easy to check out.

Great value

Centrally located, small hotel in an area with plenty of restaurants and tapas bars nearby. Ten minutes walk to shopping district and several metro stations. Really neat and clean recent refurbishment in a minimalist style. Recommended for the price if you are happy to seek meals nearby as there is no restaurant.

Review for hostel marlesca not Lisboa

Hostel was clean, safe and convinient. We wwre a le to walk to most places but if needed metro is around the corner. the day before we reached madrid Lisboa moved us to their sister hostel and that's what I am rating.

Amabilidad y ubicación

Buena localización, limpio y moderno.

Me encanta este hotel. Siempre limpio y cómodo. En esta ocasión sufrí de calor porque mi habitación me la dieron en un espacio que las ventanas abren a un patio interior cerrado. No había ventilación. Es detrás del elevador y el ruido de la polea no me permitía dormir. La próxima vez que vaya les pediré que no me vuelvan a poner en esa habitación. Por el resto... siempre regreso.

Acomodação ampla, muito bonita!

Su ubicación es muy céntrica, especialmente si te interesa la zona de la gran vía, el parque del retiro, la puerta del sol, la puerta de alcalá y los museos, como el del prado.

Algumas decepções

Quarto ok, bem localizado. Mas tivemos muitas decepções: fazer check-in em outro hotel a alguns quarteirões de distância porque a recepção estava fechada, então tivemos que andar com mala a noite no meio da rua cheia de gente pois é uma área muito movimentada a noite. Pro check-out foi a mesma coisa, saímos cedo para pegar o vôo e a recepção não estava aberta, tive que deixar os cartões do quarto em cima da campainha e avisar por mensagem. Mas a que mais chateou foi que a equipe de limpeza sumiu com uma sacola de compras entre uma limpeza e outra, com presentes que iríamos levar pra família, e só demos falta na hora de ir embora quando não tinha ninguém pra resolver.

Excelente ubicación

El hotel muy bonito el personal muy amable la habitación pequeña pero cómoda sin muchas amenidades (secadora de pelo, cafetera) pero contaba ya con conexión americana y está súper bien ubicado.

Está en pleno centro de la ciudad, a tres cuadras del metro.

Quarto espaçoso para estadia da minha família: 2 adultos e 2 crianças de 1 e 4 anos. Ficamos no 4° andar, o elevador vai até o 3°, tinha os que subir 1 lance de escada sem maiores problemas. Excelente localização no centro de Madri, vários restaurantes e padarias nas proximidades. Recomendo o hostal Lisboa.

Fiquei pela segunda vez no Hostal Lisboa e super indico. Localização excelente, consegue fazer muita coisa a pé. Excelente custo benefício. Hotel limpo e de boas instalações. Pela região tem muitos restaurantes e cafés.

Hôtel très bien situé et au calme. Chambre donnant sur une cour.Chambre propre et lits confortables.Consigne bagages pour 1€. La porte de la salle de bain est en vert donc on entend tout ce que les autres font dedans en sachant qu’il y a les toilettes. Cuvette et bouchon du lavabo cassés. Pas de sèche cheveux. La nuit il n’y a personne à l’accueil. La porte de l’hôtel était cassé heureusement que des espagnols étaient là pour appeler une personne d’un autre hôtel. Personnel agréable

Logement très bien située au cœur de Madrid. Chambre très propre, bien entretenue chaque jour, bien insonorisée et fraiche. Seul bémol: la porte de la salle de bain laissant trop peu d'intimité (pour une chambre quadruple).
