No words. They woker up twice in theiddle of the night although I told them I must get up at 4 am. Then they canceled a stay only by a phone call. I had scratches in my car in theor ING I got as I said stop waking me up. I think they are insane. Avoid at all costs

Once a grand hotel

A good hotel but showing some wear. Service in the restaurant and food both excellent. A minus for a hotel with pool… no hair dryer. Was a bit warm with no AC but ok with windows open,wished for a screen as the sheers sufficed but we had a few visitors of insect persuasion.Beds on the very soft side. Fantastic views!!! Not really necessary to stay on the trip from Boquete to Bocas recommend taking a tour rather than driving…will cost much less and road is filled/not filled with potholes the size of the car!!!

An isolated property worth the drive. Clean, modern large rooms with all amenities & more. Breakfast buffet was enhanced by an attentive & helpful young lady.

I do not recommend it, the breakfast is very bad and the service is also very bad, the rooms do not have air, it is very hot, the television did not work

Strange experience

We got stuck behind a roadblock and had to stay for 1 nt. Check in was ok, they charge $100 for incidentals. Hotel decor is odd to say the least. American indian relics, yellow leather couches, "Remington" statues, and some Gandolph character carved out of wood with a dragon on a leash?! That was just the lobby! Lots of chrome and other strange decor in the restaurant. PROs: clean, comfy beds, hot shower. CONs: beautiful balconey and view and nothing to sit on. No dishes, glasses, cups, or cutlery. Told breakfast started at 6 am and not a sign of life in the restaurant. No coffee brewing. Nada. Went to front desk and there was no sign of life! Rambunctious people running up and down the halls. Overall...Reminded me of the hotel in "The Shining". Stay there again... Not if we didn't absolutely have to.

Beautiful venue both inside and out. Very few visitors in mid week. Staff very helpful despite we gringos. Could have been air conditioned but OK with ceiling fan. Doors to first floor patios need lockable screen for fresh air.

La propiedad está localizada en un lugar hermoso, tiene unas vistas espectaculares hacia el horizonte, tal cuál su nombre. El personal es super amable y todo está muy limpio, la habitación es cómoda. Lamentablemente no es accesible a nada, no tiendas, restaurantes, parques ni nada. Las fotos promocionales no lucen como el hotel, en el primer piso se puede escuchar todo! Incluso puedes escuchar a las personas de la habitación continua hablando y viendo TV.

Over the top customer service! Somehow Expedia booked us on a day Horizonte was closed. In spite of that, we were welcome and treated like VIPs. The two chef's were on their day off watching world cup football and invited us to watch the game with them, turned on the hot tub for my wife, and opened the bar. Then they cooked us amazing dinner and breakfast the next morning.. it was over the top special. Aside from that, the views of the mountains are spectacular. We could see all the way to the Pacific!

Very friendly stuff (espacially thanks to Mietzi), most comfy bed ever, great views and cozy jaccuzzi.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The views of the surrounding mountains is amazing. The staff, especially Maria and her husband Ariel made our stay an extraordinary experience. They are super friendly and they will go the extra mile and a half to meet your expectations. Will definately go back.

The bed was comfortable but we got little sleep as the alarm for the hotel electrical system was loudly beeping all night, long every night.

Pool was cold, but views were stunning.

Family trip

Everything was good, the food, amenities, fourwheel tour, the views! Excellent property and excellent staff always willing to help! For sure I recommend this hotel.

Different issues

The room was great but few issues with the facility: the energy went off several times which caused water problems and the elevator not to work. There are no a/c in the rooms, not enough food for the included breakfast, no juice available.

The views are to die for, I’ve never seen anything like that. The hotel would be wonderful, but it feels like it’s too much for the staff. At this rate, the place will be falling apart in 5 years, unless someone takes control. Again it is a beautiful place

It's a nice big hotel owned by an American but it's severely understaffed and the service is terrible. Although the staff were very nice. Lacks some basic stuff, e.g., no trash can in bathrooms.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the majestic green rolling hills!! Breath taking views..what a way to make up. Super comfortable clean white beds. Big stone shower. Luxury all throughout!! Would absolutely stay again

Diese Unterkunft ist absolut gruselig. Wir waren die einzigen, wirklich einzigen Gäste. Das Personal schläft auch im Hotel. Etwa 5 Leute gegen 2 Gäste. Erst war es ruhig, dann begann einer der Mitarbeiter um ca 1h nachts auf der Bass Gitarre zu spielen und dazu zu heulen wie ein gequältes Tier. Nach einer Stunde war er fertig. Dann begann ein anderer fü etwa eine Stunde seine Bronchien seine Nasennebenhöhlen und was sonst noch mit Schleim gefüllt ist zu reinigen. Gegen 3 wurde es dann ruhig und wir konnten auf den zu weichen feuchten Betten für vier Stunden schlafen. Meiden Sie dieses Dissaster auf jeden Fall. Nie wieder. Vielleicht als Kulisse für eine Horror Film geeignet.

Quand même propre! Parfait pour couper la route en 2. Mais il ne faut pas avoir grand attentes. Nous avons bien dormi mais un hôtels sans âme ( figuré et propre).

Hôtel qui nécessite de l'entretien, vide. Pesonnels peu accueillants. Grande chambre, pas de réfrigérateur pour un soit disant 4 étoiles. Vue imprenable.

Ambiente tranquilo. Falta un lugar donde se pueda bailar.

Nuestra habitación tenía una vista espectacular y de noche se ven todas las luces de la ciudad. Me encanto mi estadía y la joven de recepcion muy amable.

Muy Buena atención, solo un par de mejoras....

La atención fue estupenda, todo el personal muy servicial, la habitación del hotel no tenia aire acondicionado y nos cambiaron a una con aire, por el mismo costo, Gracias, excelente. Recomendaría que tengan cuidado con los detalles, como tener plancha, secadora de cabello, ganchos para la ropa, mas toallas, la pantalla de la lampara del abanico estaba quebrada y mucha cinta adhesiva en el techo, como que hubo una fiesta anteriormente.

Administración, desayuno e instalaciones eléctricas e iluminación en la habitación no fueron satisfactorias….

Me gusto el lugar es una belleza unica. Lo que no me gusto fue q el desayuno fue muy pobre, tenían poco personal, nunca llegaron hacer el arreglo del cuarto para la segunda noche, la mesa de villar la tienen pero no se puede usar.
