No WiFi at all at the hotel. A/C barely blowing cold and didn’t want to change room last minute after my family has settled in and tired from a long trip. What a disappointment .

Wondering why this property was rated VERY GOOD. - The air conditioning was not cold and was loud hence sleep was it too good. - furniture was stained and beat up for a supposedly new hotel - tile on the floor lacked the flooring compound which made noise when you walked across the room. - TV choices were ALL blurry and poor. - The only free item in the room was (2) bottles of water. No coffee or tea. If it’s a roof abs four walls that you need. Perfect place. Otherwise PASS!!!!!

Drain system for the shower was very poor ....flooring was flooded when we took a bath...No division Loose faucet ....

We stayed for 5 nights on the third night the air condition in our room broke due to brown out. We were upgraded to a family room which was larger than room we stayed. They serve breakfast, good selections. Staff was helpful.

The location is close to the shopping mall and restaurants, free breakfast. The Staffs At the reception area are not very welcoming. You cannot have a quiet breakfast in the morning due to the staffs in the restaurant were mucking around talking loudly about other people’s lives that I’m not interested of hearing. My first night was a frightful night, I was in bed around 9.30 pm and someone tried to open my door, it was one of their staff trying to open my door, for whatever reason, who knows.

Crooked check-in policy

Reception suddenly demanded at check-in a cash deposit or ID as collateral for the room -which sparked a big argument as I never would have booked this hotel if that had been stated on hotels.com I refused and it went back and forth until they sort of but not exactly gave up. They ignored me for the remainder of my stay, which was good. The bed looks great but the mattress is a terrible, old 1970's box-spring, where at least 1/3 of the springs are worn out and I even got woken up in the middle of the night by a spring poking me in the gluteus maximus. The bathroom is okay though the shower head was coming off and kept spraying water at 90 degrees in a very annoying way. The lack of light above the mirror made shaving a little difficult. The TV and remote were both in Korean so while I figured out most of it but had to give up on getting the USB port to work, which was a real shame. The window has blinds, rather than curtains, so sunlight came in through the sides during the morning, but the stupid ceiling lights never fully go off, which made proper sleep nearly impossible. The free breakfast is a choice of 4 options each as bad as each other; the orange "juice" is nothing but liquid diabetes and there is no tea in the hotel. There's really nothing worthwhile in the area so expect to walk a bit to go anywhere good. While this place seemed to have potential, I was wrong and would not book it again.

we stayed here for one night and the room was fine. Small but that seems to be the normal for the Philippines. Front of house staff and the porters were fantastic, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast menu was so so, but we are westerners so if your Asian you would probably rate it better as it focus more on that type of food. Rooms lacked tea and coffee facilities and there was no fridge. Other than that it was ok for a short stay. I would stay for more than a couple of nights at Subic bay as I found it boring and over priced.

PROS : location is good,room is big. There is a security guarding the premises CONS: There was no tissue box. There was no mini refrigerator but the staff quickly fixed this by transferring one over. Not recommended for elderly or PWD as you have to climb a flight of steps up to the room.

I was satisfied overall with the hotel staff and accolodations except for rhe bathroom. It did not have any dicision between the shower stall and toilet area. Bit evruthing eae was good

There was a problem on water district, so the water supply on the hotel was affected. I just hope that they invest on water tank so in cases like this it wont be hassle on their guests. Other than that, everything was above average.

Location is near to the big harbour point Mall which has all the amenities required ranging from food, supermarket to shopping. Room was clean and spacious. However, shower screen was not that effective and end up having the entire toilet wet after shower.

First thing I can tell when somebody is trying to "SCAM" me and this "Horizon Hotel" pull one on me this time when I went to check out on 01 June 2018... The lady at the front desk went thru here little beef and called someone to check the room and while I was waiting to get my deposit back she came to me and stated that I had put "OIL" on there bed sheets and I asked here I don't have any oil in my back pack or coming out of my body... I work inside an air conditioning space in a vault, control temperature all day... I told her everyday that I dropped off the key here at the front desk and tell them to clean and service the room, every morning (then how come on the check out day you tell me that I put oil on your sheets, "BULL")... If they want the blank deposited then just ask for the money I would have given them tip if the services was better, but when you pull this mess... I also told them when I got there that they had "DRIED BLOOD" on the bathroom light switch and I mean a lot of blood plus on the shower wall and they didn't even clean that off, because I did it myself... Then they pull this mess heck "NO"... I will tell everyone and everybody I know to stay away from this corrupt blank hotel, and also let them know which web site I used to reserve the hotel also... I know that your company has nothing to do with corrupt hotels but this only happen a few times, usually I just let it go (but heck no)....

Very friendly staff and helpful, fast service with my laundry needs. The only place I will stay in Subic Bay.

Spacious room

The notable thing for me is the size of the room. The price is right for the room and it is in the freeport zone. Near to shopping malls, theme parks and beaches (about 20 to 30 minutes).

Location is good and there is ample parking space. Free Breakfast was ok with menu options of American, Filipino or Korean. We stayed in 2nd floor and had to use the stairs so we had to manually carry our luggage and things up and down. There is no any amenity like gymn or pool so it's basically good for overnight only.

Overall, the stay was mediocre. You basically get what you pay for. The room airconditioner had a problem and we had to call the reception 3 times before the maintenance came in our room. Advisable for short stays.

Good location in freeport zone. Good breakfast. Clean rooms and nice decor. However... NOT GOOD WI-FI in our room. Only some rooms have any wi-fi. Even though there is a medium signal, but hardly any bandwitdth coming through.
