They didnt have extra covers for the sofa bed so i had to give mine to my children and i had to sleep with just the sheet and it got cold even though i adjusted the room temperature.

Dirty sheets

The staff was nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very poor. Options were few. Cold cereal, discolored bananas and oranges. Pre made sausage and egg sandwiches that were piled on top of each other and greasy. I passed on all food and grabbed a cup of joe that even with 3 creamers I got to my car and took a sip and it was awful. I threw it out at the gas station I fueled at to continue on my journey.

Homeless Man Sleeping in Lobby.

When we checked into the hotel there was a man sleeping in the lobby that appeared to be homeless. The next morning the shower would only get slightly warm leading to an uncomfortable shower.

The staff is great! Very safe with lots of cameras . Great for pets. They actually keep the pet area clean. Loved the oatmeal at breakfast. Great place to stop.

Outstanding visit! Very good accommodations! Highly recommend this facility!

Nice overnight stay

Very nice accommodations and all was very open and right down from the Big Texan which makes it nice so not far to drive when your in a food coma!

Someone’s half full bottle of water was left in our room along with someone’s toenail on the multi stained carpet. Bathtub was dirty and staff was unfriendly

Nice, big apartment style room. More than i actually needed but very pleasant. The only prob was the air unit by the bed wasn't fully working correctly.

Convenient stop on a long road trip- the kids can relax or play at the restaurant next door or the hotel pool. Good breakfast options and gym. Will use again as a stop on our longer drives!

The only issue was that I couldnt print my papers. other than that, the hotel was amazing.

Pet friendly was a definite plus.

Great hotel

Checked in and was charged an incidentals charge of $168. I questioned it, he said he mistakenly put it in the wrong account. He said it would be fully refunded. Actually, he put the whole amount into cash. Did not refund because he eliminated my card information. I went to the desk in AM to find that it was not taken care of . Elena was excellent and I am sure it will be refunded. I will find out today.

Clean, Cozy, and Comfortable

We stayed at this location on our way traveling out west. The stay was perfect! It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Overall OK experience here. The room I booked (King) wasn't available when I arrived so I got put in a double. Not the end of the world, but the room I was given had some issues in the bathroom - a dirty tub and the body wash & shampoo containers were empty. The continental breakfast had a great selection, but the coffee was lukewarm and the sandwich I grabbed was cold in the middle. Not a great way to start the day. I don't think I'll ever be back in Amarillo, but if I am, I'll look for somewhere else to stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Never could get a luggage cart, they need more. Everyone was having the same issue

💩 night

We checked in and the AC didn't work ..... Got it fixed then No AC at 1130 at nigjt . They told us we could move rooms . From room 320 to the first flooor . I asked to talk to the manager! Not on duty and didn’t know when they would be in next . We have two service dogs and its just not that easy to repack and move !!! Im going to take a cold shower and pack and leave . We have never had a problem here before but this was ridiculous.

Good property

Staff was nice and friendly. As I entered the hotel I observed it was very clean, felt safe. Definitely a positive stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

It’s an average sort of place. Not the worst but not the best. For example Dirty stained carpets in elevator. I would stay again. The nightly rate I think is fair this hotel.

The room was cold when we first got there but it wasn't cold at 3:00 in the morning. I know it was a weekend but we wanted to get an early start and breakfast want ready until after 7:00.

The hotel itself was very nice, clean and comfortable, but the area surrounding the building was a mess. Very dirty.

I had easy access from the parking lot to my room on the second floor.

Rooms were not ready at check in time. People waiting in lobby for their rooms. Breakfast was late opening.

No complaints. Loved the kitchen.

I thoroughly enjoyed the sofa, toaster, and kitchen sink. I also liked the freezer which allowed me to freeze my cold packs for my cooler. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is right next to the freeway but I didn’t notice the noise too much. The breakfast was as expected waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc. The area felt safe.

Convenient location just off the highway. Clean and comfortable room.

Great stop over on a road trip

Pass on by this gem and look elsewhere...

My family has stayed at numerous Home2 Suites and have always loved the layouts, prices and the rooms. We booked rooms going back and forth across Texas to our vacation home in LOTO. This is the most filthy hotel I've stayed at in 20+ years. The first stay, the shower had unexplainable stains, ramen noodles on the floor and on the side of the bed and smelled of cat. The second stay through...it looked like a blood stain on the matressed (pic) that housekeeping just tried to cover. The bathroom was filthy. They exchanged our rooms...but the shower in the next bath had beige and yellow goo on the walls. We asked to speak to a manager...but they only are available 8-4. We were exhausted and slept and left. Many other options to choose from in Amarillo so pass on by this gem....

New, but disappointing

This is a nice new hotel, but you can tell it won't be long before the newness wears off. Check in was very slow, there were 4 people waiting in line and only one person working the desk. He was having a hard time checking in an international customer and apparently he was the only one working that day. The room looked nice, but had a musty smell, like an old gym sock that had been left there for a few days. There were several moths flying around the room as well as a few dead ones in the windows. Saw other bugs in the bathroom too. Breakfast was frustrating. There are two warmers that each hold two pans of food. One of the pans was empty, we inquired about getting more sausage. The lady came and took all four pans, even though the other three were still full. That left no hot food and it took her at least 20 minutes to bring all 4 pans back. We had 3 hungry kids that were getting restless. The next morning we got there at 8am, and all four pans were empty. Someone else was frustrated and had to go ask about where the food was. The front desk lady had to find the breakfast lady, that took at least 10 minutes, and she came walking out on playing with her phone saying she was just in her own little world. It took another 20 minutes to come back with any food. In the meantime, the waffle batter ran out and so did the syrup. There are only two tables that seat more than 4 as well, so if your family is bigger than 4, good luck getting a table, I guarantee someone else will be ther

The facility is conveniently located by the interstate with easy access to the activities we were involved with.

My room was dirty, there were grapes in the floor, and hairs in the restroom. The shower was clogged and dirty.

Nice, clean, modern. Complimentary washer and dryer were a plus.

Convenient, rooms was spacious but common areas were dirty specially the elevators...

Our first visit to this brand, and very impressed! The room is huge, very nice kitchen and bathroom. Everything is clean and smells sanitary too. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice clean room with excellent amenities. Room look to be very newly renovated. Beautiful bathroom very comfortable bed and a good breakfast offered in the morning. It was only at one night stay but happy I chose this hotel.

New Property / Dirty Bathrooms

We have stayed at many Home 2 Suites across the country. Generally, we are quite pleased with the brand. The rooms are roomy and comfortably accommodate my wife, 3 kids, and our dog on our cross country road trips. Given the newness of this property, I was extremely disappointed at the cleanliness of our shower. Dirt everywhere (walls and floor). It's as if they cleaning staff didn't even make an effort. I read similar reviews complaining about similar dirty conditions. Surely, management read these reviews and corrected the situation. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
