Very Professional Staff

This hotel is very close to the Shimao shopping center - within 5 minutes walking distance. It's not far to Shaoxing North Railway Station, and taking a taxi costs about $6. The hotel's 7th floor is a nonsmoking floor which I prefer. Breakfast is decent, has both Chinese and Western varieties. The best part is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and efficient. The front desk gentleman Gary is super, quick and patient. Their shoehorn is well designed for elderly people. I was able to buy one for my in laws with the help of this gentleman.

Fairly good stay

The hotel is a bit dated. It’s needs some work to be refreshed. The location is good and staff are friendly and helpful.

Shaoxing home away from home

I have stayed at this hotel before and find it a great value. Very clean and comfortable with a great location and the breakfast buffet is very good.

Although I did not include breakfast when I reserved the hotel, I paid $10 for breakfast buffet and it includes variety of Chinese and western food.

About the staff

The only thing is the staff don't speak english so is very difficult to communicate. And another concern is for two diferent times the restaurant charge me more money that the menu say .

Nice hotel, staff were friendly but english at breakfast wasn't great. Our room was non smoking but still smelt of smoke. Really nice rooms though and very close to huge shopping centre.

Very great hotel in Shaoxing area. Considering the brand value of "Holiday Inn", I choose the hotel. It is difficult to trust any chinese hotels. Good English Speaking staff all the way from receptionists, to room service, to concierge. Will surely visit here again

An excellent hotel in Shaoxing

The Holiday Inn in Shaoxing is a very good business hotel, very clean and well kept. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast with excellent variety of good breakfast items.

Nice trip

Very good experience! Check in very fast, large room. Also, it's easy to get a taxi , and there's a shopping mall(Shimao shopper center) nearby. Highly recommend！

Decent breakfast, decent view

The room service staff was efficient, but unfriendly. The front desk staff was very friendly, but spoke poor English. The breakfast was great, but the bacon was too greasy. The bar service was great, but the drinks are overpriced.

Holiday Inn, Shaoxing

Stayed there for two nights and had two rooms booked. One of the rooms we had had problems with the air-conditioning. Though it was coming to winter, the temperature in the room was boiling and one of the hotel staff had to scout for a fan to be brought into the room. Managed to get the room changed for the second night. Was a good stay other than that.

Family Gathering

The superior twin room was clean, quiet, and in decent size. Will come back again.

Well located, nice quality hotel in Shaoxing

Hotel well located, within 10 minute taxi ride of many of Shaoxing's most famous sites. Executive lounge appears not to be open yet, but hotel staff instead provides happy hour drinks and nice snack try in the lounge area. Excellent breakfast buffet. Concierge was especially helpful - arranging car, recommending interesting places to visit. Only complaint was heat in the room - Quite hot each night and thermostat (even when set to air conditioner and down to 16 degrees) never got room below 25.

Pretty View & Convenient location

The Hotel is strategically located in the business district and this makes it the 1st choice automatically. Also as bonus the pretty view of a park & river on other side is welcome.

I could walk around the city. Not near but not far away. I t is a new area and there are many modern buildings.

Good enough for Holiday Inn in Shoaxing.

Everything was great. Great quiet, clean and new spacious room.Gym was simple, with a yoga room also. Breakfast was of good quality. The only area which the hotel has to improve dramatically is the staff. None of the staff, except for the Duty manager, spoke any English. Three nights in a row, i asked for morning wake up call, but didnt get a call. It my instinct to wake up on time, or else, i defintely would have been late for business meetings.

We stayed one night only when we traveled to Shaoxing for tourism purpose. The hotel location is good , closer to restaurants and public transportation. The hotel room is large and is clean. The bed is not the best but ok. It has nice view facing a park and nearby high rise buildings. I like the area since it looks like commerical but it is relative quiet and clean. Breakfast has many selections. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Per our request, they extend our check-out time without charging us additionally. I will consider staying here again, if I ever travel to Shaoxing in future.

安い値段で、とても広い部屋、清潔で驚いた。飛行機が欠航し、チェックイン間に合わなくて日本から電話したが繋がらなかった。現地の中国の友人に電話かけてもらい説明してもらったから、スムーズに、２日目からチェックインできた。

Hotel is nice in the new city, convenient with restaurants and super market around. Staff are OK too but wifi is far from satisfactory.

地點方便，職員態度很好(冇論大堂及工作人員), 乾淨，床舒服, 房間大小適中，對我來說唯一問題是訂冇煙房(酒店已經安排入住冇煙樓層)可能因為中央冷氣關係，半夜有一陣煙味，向酒店反映後，他說可安排換房，雖然最終我沒有換，但係服務態度好

整体评价不错，就是位置稍微离景点远。

臨商場很近，吃喝玩樂不是問題，到倉橋直街打D大約8-9塊，飯店後方一些特色餐館也是不錯選擇，房間整潔，大廳人員和善，是不錯的地方，不錯的飯店，下次如果有機會，還是會選擇入住。
