Great customer service.

The toilet flush handle broke and no one came to fix like I was told at front desk! Lucky I’m handy and was about to at least flush the toilet by lifting the mechanism after I removed the toilet tank top! Poor service would come to mind! We noticed there was very few towels and none at the pool!

When a person is booking for a several night stay you look for specific things in a hotel. I was to stay for three nights four days, therefore I looked for the hotels services. This hotel claimed it had a restaurant and a pub besides a pool. Great. I was glad of these specific services because I didn’t want to drive anywhere for food or drink(watching the hockey game in the pub). BUT this hotel’s restaurant is closed by 8 pm, 1:30 pm on Sunday, and pub most nights by 7:30 pm. I find this a case of miss representation of services offered Before booking. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known of its “roll up the services by 8 pm” 6 days a week NEVER!

Decent place to stay.

Good, basic accommodation for a family get-together. Room was fine. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Toilet had some trouble flushing but not seriously.

Upon arrival the front desk agent was friendly, and welcoming. The room was on the third floor, the elevator was working which is a huge bonus (some hotels have issues with their elevators) unfortunately the elevator smelled like cigarette smoke (normally I wouldn’t care but I have asthma and this really sucked) The room was very clean, everything worked well, the only thing that was noticeable was for the neon orange stain on the carpet by the desk. I didn’t bring it up to the front desk because I didn’t see it until the morning.. There was minimal noise and was a very pleasant stay.

Hard to access due to the median in the middle of the road. Heater in the room intermittently did not work.

The heater/air conditioner worked very poorly. The mattress in the hide a bed was awful and lumpy- extreme- we slept in the cushions on the floor. The bathroom sink was nearly completely clogged!!! Definitely not a 200.00 room- won’t ever stray again, and am going on- line to do a review!!!

Great place to stay!

The hotel is always a nice place to spend the night on our travels through town. The shower head definitely needs a cleaning with some CLR or vinegar to make it work better.

The room was relatively clean. There was some hair in the tub, a few botched drywall and wallpaper repairs. The staff were friendly but a bit disorganized. Overall I'd stay here again for sure.

Enjoyed the stay

Very spacious, comfy bed and the front desk and housekeeping are so friendly and nice.

We didnt have enough towels, pillows or blankets in the room. Felt like we had to ask for extra items a few times which was annoying. No towels in the pool area. Smitty's didnt open until 8am which is far too late for a hotel restaurant in my opinion. People want to hit the road early.

Completely adequate hotel, I had a room facing the street and could hear a lot of road noise, if it wasnt drown out by the AC it could be a problem. Rooms are nothing fancy but comfortable, beds are on the very soft side of the scale. Staff were pleasant.

It's a nice hotel, the staff were great, and the room was nice too. My only complaint would be the dirt/scum that was in the jets of the tub. When booking the room via online, it stated there was a free breakfast, which was false, however, we did enjoy our breakfast and the service provided. We would stay again.

The hotel does not offer a free breakfast as a restaurant is on site. They should offer their customers an amount towards a breakfast at the restaurant.

Stay was good. Our room is on the 2nd floor and you can hear the steps from the 3rd floor

Overall it was ok

Was great just the lights on the main floor shine into the windows making it seem like daytime when trying to sleep as blinds don’t close all the way. And can hear the floor above you pretty easily would wake me in the morning.

Horrible “accessible” room. If you are in a wheelchair, pass this place by. No room beside the bed for your chair, which was too high. Pull out couch was so old and saggy I needed a lift out. Bathroom shower has one little grab bar and a fold up plastic chair. Seriously. Not a lot of room by the toilet for your chair and cheap grab bar a bit too far away. At least they didn’t put the toilet paper holder right over the bar. They say they offer breakfast, but it’s a coupon for the in house diner restaurant. If I was able bodied, the huge jacuzzi tub would’ve been appealing, but there was no way to use it. No handles or safety rails to get in and out. Never again.

Would be nice if there was a continental breakfast included for $250/night.

Had issues with the tv, noise level and their lack of desire to clean sheets if they are dirtied by the consumer. I requested money back and they told me that since I booked through Expedia they couldn’t do anything about that. However they issued us 4 breakfast coupons as an apology.

Property the rooms certainly in need of some repairs. Shower the faucet drips and door in bathroom warped badly and hard to shut. Tub also has scaling and looks dirty from the leaky faucet.

After spending three nights here, the staff is the only positive note. The first night was constant noise that continued until 06:30 the next day. The second night was somewhat quieter until the police were on site at 01:00. The second morning the elevator had trash of an eaten chicken wing, used cup, chip bag to name a few. So many children running up and down the halls knocking on doors, playing hockey in hallways and constant yelling. This speaks more to the abundant of cliente that frequented the hotel. The suite itself was acceptable but we will never be returning. Thank you to the staff who, I felt truly did do the best with what they had.

Room was clean and bed & pillows were very comfortable. House keeping lady was really nice. There was a hockey team running up and down the halls until 11 pm while parents partied in another room. Desk staff or security should have taken control.

The only downside was that their Smitty's restaurant was temporarily closed due to a water leak beyond their control. Apart from that the stay was Excellent, grandkids loved the pool!

The matress was incredibly comfortable. Having back issues I had no issue falling asleep.

Hotel was ok. The hot tub was down. The worst thing was our keys were constantly not working. We went to the front desk 3 times in 2 days because none of our keys worked. Puts a sour twist on our stay

A sweet suite

I splurged on a suite with a jetted tub, and the tub was wonderful, in a huge and very clean bathroom. It was an accessible suite, with both jetted bath tub and a shower, very nice. A comfortable bed made for an excellent stay. Adding a recycling bin would make for a greener option.

Everything was mid. Nothing impressed me, not much upset me.

Bathrooms need to be upgraded - fittings are rusty and look sad! There was no water available in the water and pop machine.. could not wait till 8am for the breakfast place to open - had to have an early start so only had breakfast in the next town. Staff were excellent and helpful

Friendly Staff. Clean and quiet. Hotel is old. Not the cheapest in town and no breakfast.

The hotel was in average, condition and could use a little updating.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Enjoy the fact that there is resturant, service was great.

The bathroom was basically just given a quick wipe down between the last stay and my check in. Hair and dirt in the corners. The bathtub was awful. Had numerous patches coming up damage.

Lloyd visit

Let me begin by saying that this was a nicer hotel compared to others I’ve stayed in the area. The stay overall was great, yet there was just one elevator to service all four floors. A little of a wait for the elevator, but ok biggie, as there were not as many folks waiting for it. The bed were amazingly comfortable. The towels have seen better days, the once pictured was really frayed and needed replacing. The metal fixtures in the bathroom, mainly the towel holder and shower curtain holder was really rusty. Just a heads up, the hotel offers Smitty’s for any on site food accommodations, no continental breakfast. Front desk was helpful and super nice.

Good Service but In Poor Repair

While the staff were all first rate the hotel room itself was suffering from old age. One of the sprlnklers off of its mount, leaving a gaping hole in the ceiling. Whether it still worked or not is open to conjecture. There were reddish marks on the wall by the bed and on the mini fridge suggestive of either paint or bodily fluids. The bathtub tap dripped incessently. i foolishly prepaid breakfast (there's a Smitty's attached to the hotel) only to find out that you could only order take out and had to eat in your room. I felt like a second-class citizen. Overall, not a pleasant stay.

I didnt get the king bed I requested.

The snow clearance in parking area was poor. Cars were stuck in main drive through area. I had snow half way up my calf trying to get items out of my car. The most disappointing was the gym. I will not stay here again because of the gym. Most equipment unusable.

Perfectly situated for our trip back from Saskatchewan - half way stop over. Amenities on site or close by so didn’t have to drive anywhere. Clean and quiet. Will definitely stay again.

25 minute wait to check in.

Shocked by the bathroom. Floor was cracked and uneven. The toilet was tipped forward Beds were comfortable. Waited 25 minutes to check in. Phone the hotel, was put on an automated hold and disconnected in 10 minutes. Was told by the front desk person that she was fixing a tv for a guest. Perhaps a sign saying you'll be back in 15 minutes. Not standard Holiday Inn....
