This hotel has one room with a balcony. The view was beautiful, but I checked out early because I was not told just below the balcony was a cemetery. I left after 2-days (7 day stay), as it was the 1-year anniversary of my mom passing and I just couldn’t stay. I was not offered a refund of any kind from Expedia…I felt mentioning the view included a cemetery. During my walks there were no scenic views and only one restaurant close by , but it offered great food.

Absolutely Amazing stay

Rooms are musty and moldy smelling

When we went to check in, the room we were given smelled musty and mildewy. We looked around and the sink had a black stain in it (mold) that clearly could not be removed. There were no windows that opened and it smelled awful. My sister has asthma and there is no way she could stay there. So, we asked for a different room. They found us another room, but it smelled the same. Then they tried a 3rd room, but it also was mildewy and musty. It was clear that it was a problem with the hotel and ventilation, and not just the room. I told them we couldn't stay there, and they said they couldn't give us a refund, that we would have to call Hotels.com to discuss with them. Of course we had already checked in, so we could not cancel at hotels.com. It was 9pm and we needed to find a place to stay so we just left. We found another hotel right down the street that was much more beautiful, and the room did not smell at all. There was clearly ventilation in the room that kept it fresh and smelling nice. I would not recommend this hotel. It had great reviews, so I trusted it but I don't know why people have rated it so high. It was not a good hotel.

Great experience

Great hotel and location; comfortable, clean, very good breakfast, free parking and access to a real gym. The pool was small and not a lot of options to sit outside in a shady place.

Cabo San Lucas

Breakfast buffet included but it was not that great. Clean and comfortable room. Hotel was close to Cabo San Lucas but hotel is in small shopping center but nothing to shop in this center. Nothing walking distance because its on main road. If you miss the entrance you will add another 7 minutes.

Very good stay overall noise level at night not the best however nor the worst

We had been in cabo for over 5 weeks closer to six we tour the condos and air and bbs so th8s was a bit cramped and things and the staff were good breakfast was ok to good value but 10 day stay not so good without fridge and microwave .

It was a bit off the tourist path! Couple of good restaurants near by but one was across the busy highway. Overall a decent place for a good price good breakfast to start a day of exploring Cabo San Lucas

Drain smell

Great location except for the main road which makes it a bit difficult to access the hotel, if arriving by public transportation from San Jose. But great proximity to La Taquiza Restaurant which is has very tasty food.

The property location is pretty good, and quite clean. The staff and service is okay.

Friendly staffs.

The staff was great and very nice. Leslie at the front desk send me plenty of information on things to do while visiting Cabo. We arrived almost two hours before check-in but Leslie made some arrangements to let us in earlier. The complementary breakfast was good. We were able to walk to restaurants near by and had the best view of the arch.

We needed just a single night because of a change to our flight and couldn’t extend booking at the resort we stayed at for 2 weeks. This was an excellent choice. The pool is nice the staff are friendly. Included breakfast very good. Within the next block is a nice cafe, bookshop, convenience store and La Taquiza Tzal is a great restaurant.

Costco and supermarket was just across the road. However, it was not geared up for pedestrians and was dangerous as there was no formal crossing point.

The Hotel was clean and the stuff was super nice. But the room didn't have a window to open for circulation and like all other hotel's that I stayed air in air out..

The time to get to beach It was good 40 minutes And not 3 minutes like the mentioned on reservation

This hotel is very clean. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is amazing! Very friendly and willing to help with anything they can. There was only one night where some drunk english speaking (I assume a fellow American) was yelling and banging on a room door trying to get in. The front desk called the police and the situation was resolved quickly. Talked to the front desk and they said thats the first time that had ever happened there. I believe them as the other 6 nights there was no issues and it was very quite. There is a bank next door that had the best exchange rates that we found. There are local buses that go in the area where the mall, restaurants, and clubes are at. 16 pesos per a person one way.

Clean and nice

On line it says the beach is 4 min away in reality it’s 15 min drive . It’s not true. We paid $3400 with air fair and information was not true. Monica machine working same food every morning in breakfast

Got to Cabo a day early looking for 1 night hotel. Price good. Area good but not walkable to much. For an overnight can’t beat it though. Very very clean! Staff wonderful! I’d stay again.

Grad we are on the water view side of the building as the street side would be very noisy with the highway so close. Quiet on this side. Nice small outside pool in the second floor.

Staff were helpful, pool nice-good view. Breakfast average at best. Reasonable value for the money.

For the price, this hotel was perfect for us! We opted for a non-resort experience and were so happy we did! The rooms were clean, the pool was amazing, the breakfast was so good everyday and had great hours. There are 2 taco places within walking distance, but that was it, nothing else was walkable. We rented a car and everything we wanted was within a 15-20 minute drive.

Mediocre at best

Hotel is old and it shows. Pool was not great and no beach access. You can see it through the wall of barbed wire. Check in was terrible. Double charged my card and very little English understanding.

Ismeralda Cruz, was vey helpful. And I really enjoyed my stay and I may go back in the future.

is a new modern clean hotel only suggestion i have is for the expedia listing to be changed it shows medano beach as a ten-minute walk it is a ten minute drive

Dont stay here

The bathroom had a horrible smell,, the pool area was dirty and not maintained. We had to ask several times to have the lights turned on in the patio area. The hallways were dirty and musty and felt extremely warm. The room was musty and extremely small. No windows. No air flow.

Great spot for a quick getaway, perhaps even longer. Only drawback was the ac leaked water on second day. Nothing too serious I think. I let them know and they welcomed the info. Loved the Schindler elevator with its futuristic touch screen. Floor 0 indicator was a little confusing, figured it out though. It's the ground floor, lol

Everything was nice. Clean, quiet, well maintained, excellent breakfast.

Place was perfect for our family while we waited to board our cruise ship.

It is super close to the beach at a great price.

The rooms a super big and comfy. Pools is very nice. The facilities in general are very well maintained and clean. The convenience store, restaurant and malls are minutes away (and minutes away in Orlando is a luxury) The Staff at the front desk when we checked in wasnt friendly, but that was the only interaction I've had with them so far. Let see at the check out...

Cabo Wedding Trip

Went for a wedding and stayed at this hotel which was very clean and very decent. The beach is close by but the hotel is not right on the beach. They serve daily breakfast and it’s really good. It’s excellent for the price you pay and I definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind that this is not similar to a resort so don’t set your expectations for this hotel to be at that level.

Good value and a good location if you want to stay in El Tezel. Surprisingly quiet for being on the highway.Clean and modern. Hot breakfast.

Bathrooms need updating

The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests. The gym access that they have is the best that I've ever had at a hotel. It was like a small planet fitness. Pool was nice and hotel was very clean. Most disappointing was there was no beach access as Expedia said. The description on Expedia needs corrected.

Loved everything about the hotel very clean, the only bad thing about it is that you have to drive around because everything is far walking distance

We were just in Cabo for the day shopping. Great location. Comfortable room. Nice staff. Would have liked a minifridge.

You can see the ocean from the hotel but cant access the beach. Noise from traffic at night.

The property was exactly what I was looking for - access to an excellent gym and somewhat out of town so I could get 20km to 30km walking per day. (getting back in shape for a 200km bike ride in a few months) The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and there were always staff seen to be cleaning. It is not an all-inclusive liquor intensive resort which I was purposely avoiding. Other guests were business travelers, families and airline crew. There are four or five restaurants within steps of the property. for these reasons I rate the Holiday Inn Express very highly.

Nice property and staff was helpful, but you need to take an Uber into Cabo or to the beach, Uber cost $5 each time and it works really well. Breakfeast is not on par with Holiday Inn in the US but it has minimal choices if you choose to not eat the mexican food. Would be nice to have coffee ready in the lobby before breakfest was served.

The staff were great to deal with, breakfast had a good selection. The room were cleaned well and comfortable. The location was hard to get to by bus as the bus stops by Costco and you have to cross a busy road. The pool needs cleaning. The glass around the pool looks like it has never been cleaned. The gate latches need to be fixed.

Door lock was mounted upside down, didn't realize you had to lift the handle instead of pushing down. Looked foolish when the clerk showed me how to open it, asked her why they hadn't fixed it since they already knew about it, no answer.

The hotel was nice, room was nice, but no soundproofing at all, I could here people talking in rooms next to me, could hear everyone in the hallway, the doors are a little spring loaded, so you hear everyone's doors closing

Hotel was close to downtown and the beach. We walked everyday to the beach and took a $5 Uber into town from our hotel. The only disturbance we had was the last night the AC was noisy. Sounded like a rock was getting tossed around in there at certain points throughout the night as would wake us up. But other than that, hotel was clean and the staff is very friendly! We enjoyed our stay!

Basic hotel room. Good place for a night on your way through Cabo. Cute bistro restaurant below and nice little pool. 3/5 experience.

The property was very convenient and clean. However, the amenity of towels was poor. I didn't like that we had to request wash cloths every day of our stay.

The air conditioner was not working properly. not enough towels in room.

Everything was exceptional, only issue was to me, the roof top pool area needs ALOT more attention in regards to cleanliness, I'm not hating, just an opinion by myself anf my girlfriend, other than that everything else was fantastic.

No hot water. Very disappointing as this hotel is clean and the bedding is awesome. I hope this is a one time thing.

PROPERTY NEEDS UPDATING THINGS ARE ALREAY RUN DOWN ALSO DRAPES AND POOL TOWELLS ARE ALL OLD AN OUTDATED, TOILET SEATS BROKEN. THEY NEED TO ALREADY UPDATE THERE DECOR. BUT STAFF IS GREAT AND LOCATION.

Need more restaurants. People should not live in the back of the hotel. Make sure you have towels in rooms.

Nice hotel with minimal amenities. We had to keep asking for the staff to warm items up. We had hoped the microwave would be accessible in the dining area. The staff is extremely nice. I just wish they would give more basic information upon check in. City view is not the city view. You cannot walk to the beach, it’s impossible. There’s a store and a few places to eat in the same building. Costco is across the street but you’d have to have a membership from that area. Ubers are cheap and about 11 mins from the mall or Walmart. I took a shuttle to the airport approx 35-38 mins.
