Excellent. WingoZhao is super helpful. I wanted to extend 1 night but it was sold out. And she helped me to reserve one when there is one room got cancelled.

We selected a non-smoking room and it still smelled like someone had been smoking in there. But the room was clean. There was a great breakfast buffet. The staff was super helpful and kind, easy to work with. They were very responsive and met requests immediately. They even provided me with a scale to weigh my luggage for my return flight. Overall a good experience!

Overall stay

Locality was great... Subway station close by... Rooms and bathroom was serviced daily with clean white towels. However, breakfast options should be considered... halaal/kosher meals

as a 4 people family with small child, I can say it was very good hotel with size of the room and accessible to underground and food centre in shopping malls. the shower was very good, hotel breakfast was incredible reception staff was amazing and helpful, they helped people to book a taxi and translate everything from chines to English. there is a good size swimming pool and was clean room service was very reliable and fast. totally I would recommended this hotel for long or short stay specially if you have children and travel as a family.

Good position

On our final leg before returning home to New Zealand after time away in Europe and Asia. The service had at this hotel was the best we received throughout our entire trip across both continents. In particular Raymond and Melody - they went over and above what we would consider to be normal service and were exceptional. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The complimentary breakfasts were well supplied with Asian and Western cuisine and being a buffet style, our family was well set up for the day every day. The rooms were comfortable, had firm and soft pillows and large towels. Whilst the AC would only go as low as 23 degrees Celsius, the staff supplied portable units to help cool it even more as needed. The gym was one of the better ones we have used with a wide range of gear and quality gear at that. The pool was large - you need to purchase a swimming cap to use. Starbucks is next door, as is a large local eating area where locals eat to the NE. Supermarket underground of the same area. It’s a bit of a way from most tourist spots but travelling by DiDi in air conditioned vehicles for half an hour was quite relaxing and no biggie cost-wise either. DiDi and taxis pick up and drop off at the door with staff ready to assist. Possibly gushing over this a bit too much suffice to say that the service of the staff there at this hotel were exceptional and they made it so. Well done to the team and managers there - you nailed it.

I stayed one night at this hotel, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also good. one negative thing is there is a strange smell when I first get into the room.

All the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent. There is a nice mall (Wang Jing Walk) with restaurants just around the corner. Starbucks is downstairs and Pete’s is in the mall.

Great service, great breakfast, many restaurants near by and a mall right next door, the staff knows enough English to be helpful. Only thing I really didn't like is that I couldn't get the room cooler than 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Costs about 50-60 rmb for a taxi ride to the airport.

The staff were lovely and tried to help us the most they could even though they did not speak fluent English. The facilities were clean and spacious and the room was cleaned everyday with extra toiletries provided when asked for. Free water bottles were also provided as well as tea and coffee packets for use. However, it would have been nice if the bed sheets were changed more often rather than just making the bed tidy as bloodstains from injuries were still on the bed sheets after room cleaning.

Awesome experience

Hotel was very clean and spacious with its very beautiful view at 32nd floor. The bathtub was huge! Room was cleaned promptly everyday. Room service was prompt on the phone call. Service at the lobby was awesome!

Not Happy and Angry Customer!

One thing I noticed about this Hotel when I booked my tour to visit The Great Wall of China, The front desk attendant referred me to the concierge and they made phone calls. They told me that the charges are 600rmb each for the entire tour including everything. I agreed to pay 1200RMB for two. They told me to be ready at 730AM the tourist guide showed up at 830AM with so many reasons. The tourist guide asks for an additional 150rmb each for the cable train to take us to the top of the Great Wall. I told her that I already paid 1200rmb for everything and she said my hotel is far I need to pay extra 250rmb to pick up us. I asked the other tourist in the Van they only paid 300rmb each plus the 150rmb for the cable train and their Hotel is only 15 mins away from ours. The total amount they paid each is about 450rmb each. I and my wife paid 1500rmb. After the Tour I talked to the front desk about the situation they made phone calls ...but who cares they speak in Mandarin... I had no clue what they talking about. I end leaving so disappointed.

Aircon doesn’t work during my stay in April. Had to change room. Was cooler but unable to lower temp. New Room has its own sets of problems. USB port is broken and tv service was unable. English channels not working in that room. I would opt to stay in the nearby Holiday inn express next time if I’m around the area. Haven’t had any bad experience to date with holiday inn express.

Can be better

Not the usual Holiday Inn experience I was expecting. Hotel room was warm and uncomfortable, there was no way to cool it down. I was told that the hotel was full and there was no other rooms available to switch to. A friend and I had dinner at the cafe and most items were unavailable. Since that was so, we found out they had noodles and beef as ingredients, we asked if they could prepare stir fried beef noodles, which they replied no... During check out, I asked the front office which terminal I should go to as I was flying internationally on Air China. My itinerary only started Beijing International Airport. A gentlemen told me he didn't know as Air China operates out of Terminal 2 and 3. I asked if he was able to check and he replied he was busy. It was interesting as I was the only one at the front desk at that time. I later found out that Air China only operates out of Terminal 3 on both international and domestic flights. The service team can do much better.

Temperature of room was too hot (more than 34℃. It was impossible to control in each room.

Very enjoyable stay during layover

The staff were all very friendly. One was so kind to write down directions using the metro to the airport from the forbidden palace in Chinese and English. This was beyond helpful since we ended up taking a wrong turn, and needed to ask for help without knowing the local language. Without this we would have been very late to the airport! Room was very clean. The pillows were really comfortable. Bed was firmer than I usually like, but I slept like a baby. Breakfast buffet was one of our favorite things about our stay. All the food was fresh and delicious. There were so many food options and a gorgeous view. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel condition was great, room was very spacious and clean. However, the checking out process was way too slow and very inefficient. I was in a hurry to catch a train, but they refused to help me to check out, and was busy in generating receipts for those who need them for reimbursement. I prepaid the hotel, but they still double charged my credit card. After noticing the error, I asked them to cancel their own charge, but they chose to cancel the pre-paid charge, I will have to wait to see whether this will result in me paying the currency exchange.

Nice property not too far from airport

This was a very nice American style hotel. Good condition. The room was extremely hot and i could not figure out how to control the temperature. Made it very uncomfortable. I had to prop open the window. Breakfast was good otherwise a fine stay

it's my third time to china. From my only a handful of expeirience, i prefer to new one near city center. but this time i had to stay wang-jing area, that's why i stayed here for two nights. a breakfast was very good by comparison with others. even in this area, there are rarely decent accommodations, i couldn't say it's the best choise in this price.

Great Stay

We have a layover for 20 hours so we booked this hotel to stay for one night. The price is good and the hotel is very nice and clean. It is about 30 minutes from the airport by taxi. The regular taxi meter will cost 70 yuan, but the transportation counter charged 210 yuan. The taxi driver may have problem locating the hotel if he/she is not familiar with the area since there was traffic jam everywhere and a Holiday Inn Express nearby. So, it will be good to bring the hotel phone number and let the taxi driver call the hotel (since they all have cell phone and GPS). We really enjoy our stay. The breakfast buffet was great.

Our stay at focus square was very pleasant the staff done everything they could to help. Room was very comfortable providing everything we required for our stay. Hotel in a good location with lots of shops restaurants and subway in walking distance .

Staff is very reliable. We asked about couple options to get to the airport the next morning. The staff offered couple choices and we decided to ask them to call for a taxi next morning. When we were checking out before leaving, we saw a guy going in the taxi parked in front of the hotel. We couldn't speak Chinese and both the driver and the guy were Chinese, so the staff ran to the taxi and explained that the taxi was called for us, not for the other customer. We were able to make it to the airport on time.

Comfy beds

There was a big problem for language. So that no guidance for the places we required to go when ever visit any country. No information, no book let was there to find what is there to see .It looked like a place in third world countries because of the bad management on the front desk. After all we found it the poor country like Pakistan. I donate the flag of China to the front Desk person to recognize themselves their identity for the sake of a 4-star Hotel. The time when I and my Husband were there might controlled by the Management was sold by Pakistan, that's why we did not enjoy our 4-days visit in Beijing.
