Much better options nearby for the price. This property does not deserve the star rating it boasts. Very run down and shabby
Amazing Experience
Hivernage was amazing. The garden and pool area are such a nice and quiet escape from wherever you are coming from. The service here is also outstanding, the staff go out of their way on every request.
Beautiful and Best Service
This place was so beautiful and the staff was so incredibly friendly. It is close to all the major sites and the service is amazing.
Lovely quiet spot set in peaceful gardens with pool, great breakfast and extremely kind and helpful staff
Relaxing
Riad could be 5 star, but Ayoub is the best!!
Temperatures were running even higher than normal so I msg'd the Riad prior to our cancellation date to ensure that the a/c was working well and was assured it was. The riad knew our arrival time because they arranged for our transportation. When we arrived the air in the room was not on (it was 112 that day!) When they turned it on, initially cold air was coming out but within 1 hour, no more cold air. Abraham offered to move us to a "better" room for an additional fee. The room was larger but the a/c unit could not handle the size of the room. We wound up sleeping on the couch because it was the closest to the a/c. We shared our frustrations with Ayoub, a different mgr, and he was completely customer focused. We had to move to yet a 3rd different room, but he assured us that the a/c would work properly and he delivered on his promise. The only downside was no a/c in the bathroom area so you had to shower quickly and then get ready in the bedroom. This riad could be amazing if they would do 2 things...upgrade the a/c in each room (there are only 6!) and improve the level of customer service. Ayoub is fantastic - as is the young lady that cleans the rooms and much of the property - and they are what kept us at the property! Ayoub was truly the one person who really seemed to care about customer satisfaction and would not only keep his promise but follow up to make sure your problem was resolved to your satisfaction. This place could go from good to great...
Room was great. Helpful staff. Towels and robes need an upgrade.
If you like quiet friendly places then this is the place for you! We has trouble finding it because although it's very near to the town it's well hidden. Its set in q nice garden and only has about 6 rooms so a very peaceful place to stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms generally very clean although the wardrobe could have done with a bit of a dusting. On site restaurant food very nice but as to be expected, it's a bit more pricey than venturing out to one of the many restaurants in the town. Within easy walking distance of Marrakech main shopping mall and also easy to walk to the new town. Old town only 5-10 mins in a taxi. Hotel was also very happy to arrange trips to see different tourist attractions and the price for these was actually very reasonable. Was a little disappointed they didn't give complimentary water / fruit in our room for our arrival but they did give us a nice mint tea. Room facilities good with good Wi-Fi and tv. Minor niggles aside, we were very pleased with our choice of place to stay and if we ever come back to Marrakech we would definitely stay here again.
Hivernage Secret Suites comfy yet "authentic"
Hivernage Secret Suites was what we hoped for -- a comfortable, roomy place centrally located but still outside the congestion of Medina. In many ways, it felt more like a mansion than a hotel. Well maintained, and showed heritage unmatched by new hotels. More privacy than a bed-and-breakfast. Not a riad, since it is not built around a central courtyard. However, the advantage of the layout is spacious feel to the beautiful gardens and pool/patio areas. We found the food delicious and eating poolside was lovely. The staff was unfailingly eager to please. Big balcony went unused due to early October heat. Safe, modern neighborhood. At the very outer range of walking distance to Medina, but easy to get a taxi. The only minor complaints were balky cable TV reception and wi-fi that didn't quite reach to our room. We didn't visit Morocco to be glued to electronics anyway.
Great staff great location and beautiful suites, I would stay there again.
Secluded villa style hotel
Amazing bedroom, 2 couches and a large bed. The view from the window is great, of the pool and garden area. The terrace/balcony is a great place to relax as well. The closet area between the bathroom and bedroom has many spacious closets to store luggages. The bathroom has 2 sinks, with a walk in shower and bathtub. The food was great as well, breakfast or dinner. Sort of hidden in the villa area of Marrakech, not far from the airport.
Great little hotel
Not really a hotel as it only has five rooms. Only had one evening mea there as the staff were very helpful in finding two excellent nearby restaurants. Decor is typically Moroccan. Only downer is the small outdoor pool is heated by natural sun so we couldn’t use it in February
Gorgeous hotel. A welcome surprise in Marrakech
The hotel is amazing. We stayed in the Medina the first night and checked out the next day. I’m so grateful we found this beautiful retreat in a clean and gorgeous part of town. This a must stay hotel.
I would recommend it to everyone Super hotel
Highly recommended
Amazing service, lovely staff and Riad is well located and walking distance to restaurants and touristique places
Midway to airport from Medina
I was greeted warmly, foyer had a welcoming, homey feel to it, I was offered mint tea and dessert while my room was being prepared (I came in 4 hours early than check in time). I was then ushered to my room that was beautifully prepared, rose petals on the bed. The service was personalized which made one feel catered to. You got to have breakfast every morning in the garden, served with a tray to fill your dietary requirements. It is a lovely 6-room villa with pleasant staff. It is located in a well-kept residential area, 10 minutes by cab to airport and 10 minutes to Medina by taxi, 35 minutes to walk. You get peace, quiet and relaxation while on vacation. Best value.
Best hotel of our trip.
We traveled for a month and stayed at over ten hotels. This one was our favorite. It's a secluded private garden home style hotel, The staff is like family and make you feel at home. There are only six rooms and the staff is usually around ten so you'll usually have around three people ready at any moment to attend to you. Dining in the garden is very nice and the meals are as good if not better than anywhere in the city, Gourmet and still home style cooking. Have the phone number ready because a lot of taxi drivers don't know where it is and need to call for directions. Location is walkable to most areas but away enough to be quit. When I go back to Marrakesh I'll definitely stay here again.
Great staff, very posh hotel for an affordable pri
Beautiful property with a very friendly staff. Very relaxing stay!
