We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It’s very close to public transportation, close to many food places and shopping malls.

All excellent except one the room little bit hot for set up with 25.5 C degrees. I can’t changes the temperature

I'd be happy to stay here again for the comfortable bed and room, affordable price, and swimming/fitness center. The room was quite nice; I slept well; the bathroom and Evelyn and Crabtree toiletries were great. It wasn't as easy to work, though, as the internet was spotty. Sometimes I had to reconnect repeatedly, and my screen froze a few times and caused one online meeting to be postponed. The speed and reliability of the internet should be improved. Service was overall good in the end, but it can take effort or time to find someone who can speak English. Some staff were really great, and all were friendly. The few meals I had at the hotel were all right. I had a good massage at the spa, but it was rather pricey for the city. The hotel location is right across the street from the excellent Hebei Museum, and it's easy to get a taxi or Didi to visit great local sights like Longxing Temple and the Zhengding city wall area. There are air purifiers throughout the hotel to help with the pollution. This Hilton is a good choice for the SJZ.

Very upset with Hilton

This was a very bad stay, ended up there for 2 nights. The first morning for breakfast the lady sent me back to my room very rudely from the breakfast area and told me I must change my shoes, the sign that they have is not clear and she embarrassed me infront of other guests , staff were laughing at me and made me feel very uncomfortable, I was very upset. When I brought it to management they did nothing about it.

Very good on all points. For USD, it was a great value -- spacious and generously appointed rooms, refreshed bottled waters daily, excellent amenities in bathroom so if you forgot anything, it was already there. Good food in restaurant -- especially if you're not Chinese and unsure of what to do/try. Staff was prompt on all inquiries, and helpful. Would stay again for sure.

Overall experience was good. Check in could be better. Staff is alert when I left my electronic toothbrush in the room and promptly alert me upon checking out.

Just opposite Hubei Museum and between the hustle bustle of the city. Plenty of options for food and travel. Nice cozy bed and all amenities one needs for a wonderful night.

Nice to stay

It is a affordable luxury hotel. The hotel is clean and nice. Front desk staff was very friendly and flexible. The staff at the door sent us all the way to the room. Breakfast and bar are both nice. Wine is pricey though. Location is perfect for searching good food and shopping. It takes about 30 min to get to the airport without traffic.

Beware of smoke smell & stuffy room.

Aircon is very weak despite turning on to the max fan speed. Couldn't stand the still air although is not warm in the room. Asked for a fan to keep the air well ventilated, hotel staff is helpful and prompt with the request. They actually allow people to smoke inside the building. (Bar area) Very smoky when we pass through the bar to get to the restaurant at 30 floor. My colleague complaint the room is with smoke smell from aircon outlet even we requested for non smoking room. The lift lobby and the corridor to the room at 31 floor always very dim and stuffy. Could be the energy conservative effort but l think the lift lobby and corridor should always be well ventilated and having good lighting condition to make guest feel welcome. Washing machine is available in the room.

Only stayed one night. Excellent accommodation. Restaurant was fantastic with the best buffet dinner I have ever had. Breakfast was first class. Will definitely return.

Hilton Shijiazhuang is a good experinece for a hotel on top of a building (same building). it is floors 29-53 in one of the tallest buildings in the city, view is above / but still affected by the haze. Lots of local places of interest to walk to.

The lobby boys are very good, helped with the luggage. From desk girls vary. I was not given enough detail compared with my male colleague (I am a female). I had to ask for the information on wifi password and breakfast. Nice room, clean and good view.

Wonderful stay,received a birthday cake from hotel

It was a wonderful stay during my business trip at this hotel.All the room was above 30 floors with great view.The rooms was spacious, clean and tidy, completed with small kitchen, washing machine and a automated curtains. Shopping center was a few steps away with cinema and restaurants.The hotel was so thoughtful knowing that it was my birthday during my stay, they sent a delicious birthdays cake to my room giving me a big surprise and make me so touching and so unforgettable, thank you very much to all the staff working in this hotel, your servicing was excellent !!!I will definitely back to this hotel again.

Only problem was that the room was 30 degrees Celsius and could not adjust the temperature. They brought in a fan and that dropped the temperature by one degree (useless). When I complained, they tried to lie and tell me it was because of the weather outside. The outside temperature was 12 degrees Celcius both days I was there! I live in SE Asia and I don't sleep in that kind of heat. I could not sleep for 2 nights because I was drowning in my sweat. I would demand a refund for the torture.

We wouldn't consider another hotel after this stay

We stayed at this Hilton on 11/25/2014. It's a brand new hotel and is tastefully appointed. Rooms were clean and comfortable as would be expected of any upscale Hilton property. The low prices [maybe its to do with the location / size of the city] blew us away! The staff is to be commended for doing things well and understanding the meaning of good customer service. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We wouldn't stay anywhere else if we were to return there in the future.

The only place to stay in Shijiazhuang!!!

Very Nice!! That was one of the nicest Hiltons I have ever stayed in. High end shopping near by. Just a short walk. Plant of restaurants!

Towering hotel in developing city

Understand that Shijiazhuang is a city under heavy development. The pollution is bad. However, The Hilton is an island in this urban desert. The building was still brand new when we visited, and the staff helpful and friendly, and gave us a free room upgrade, because we needed a washing machine. We would have wished for more channels on the TV and a better WiFi. That we had to pay for the bad WiFi, was even worse. In this day and age WiFi should be free of charge and better than this! Room was clean, breakfast good, but windows very dirty on the outside.

Great getaway, western comfort

Hilton Shijiazhuang was beautiful, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room didn't completely match the decryption on the website. We didn't have a coffee maker or queen sized sofa. It felt clean, but the fingerprints on the dark wooden walls bothered me. The bed was wonderful compared to the typical hard beds in China, but quite hot to sleep because the AC didn't run cooler and the blankets on the bed were too thick for sleeping in the summer and no simple sheets were provided. The gym and pool were wonderful, but the jacuzzi is not warm/hot whatsoever!

Excellent Property, excellent Price

The facilities are amazing, reception desk on 31st floor, incredible pool to relax after a long day of work and great bathtub on the room. The staff is really helpful, a little overwhelming for my taste, but I can not complain. Great lobby to have business meetings if you are visiting the city on business. The only minor issue is that when I arrive they inform me their air conditioning system was under manteinance, so when I got to my room it was quite hot in there, but it was fixed after a couple hours.

BEST HOTEL IN SHIJIAZHUANG

Service at every level was excellent, like at Reception/Restaurants/Room Service and Concierge. Happened to meet the General Manager of the property, felt the excellent service levels were part of his training and commitment.
