Perfect!

The hotel is old and worn down, it needs some upgrades. The nearest metro station is Gangxia north , exit 13, it is very easy to find . The buffet breakfast is average. The sauna areas is also old and worn down .

Good hotel but need improvement.

hotel room is a bit old but conformable and clean. Staffs are friendly. Door bellman doesn't know the restaurants around the area. Day arrived was cold but air-condition didn't have heat. I asked for a portable heat but it didn't work. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

As Muslims it is very difficult when having breakfast because there is no distinction between Halal Food and Non-Halal food. We saw that same spoons and tongs were used for multiple dishes (both for halal and non halal dishes). Some of the dishes at the breakfast buffet was not labeled. Otherwise the hotel was excellent, front office staff were very nice and helpful, excellent facilities.

A lot of small eatery shops around, providing various types of foods

the bathroom door was broken. it was unbearable to open and close the door because the door was out of the track. the bed was two twin beds putting together to make up a king size bed. the breakfast was horrible. the only protein for noodle soup was pork liver and port blood, which made me felt nauseous! That kind of money for such a poor hotel! makes me think twice about the name of Hilton. I have been such a royal customer to Hilton for a while, and this hotel make me feel betrayed by the name of Hilton

I requested for a room on the higher floors and away from the elevator during booking. When checked in, I got a room on the low floor and right next to the elevator, and the hotel was not even full. No point of putting in special request and previlage being a Hotels.com platinum member here.

Hice and big hotel

We stayed for 2 nights on 26 & 27 Sep 2024 and on the early morning of 28 Sep, we were woken up by very loud water noise hitting the windows of our room. At first, we thought it was heavy rain. In fact, it was the spiderman cleaning the external windows but the noise generated due to the amount of water pouring down the external windows was so much and so loud that we were woken up from our sleep. While we noted that there was a room notice that there will be window cleaning over 25 to 30 Sep 2024, the time specified was from 10:00 to 18:00. We were woken up around 8 am which was unacceptable. And because the management never used a window cleaning gantry, they needed to pour large amount of precious water over the window surface from the top, which generated very loud noise. This is BOTH bad for the hotel guests and the environment! For record we actually took a video of the event and are glad to show the hotel management if necessary.

Just an observation/recommendation for the customers that are at Shenzhen for the first time without internet access. It would be helpful to have printed information of buses around the area and places to shop close to the Hotel in English. We were fortunate to have friends living close by to help us with sims cards and moving us around. The free internet sucks and couldn't connect from the room, also the A/C wasn't cooling enouph at night. Other than that everything was perfect, thanks!

The room was not ready for us to check in. We arrived around 3pm. The room was not ready. We waited until 5:30pm but still not ready. We can only go out for dinner first and when we returned at 10:30pm, it was ready. They apologized by sending a fruit plate only. They offered a late checkout but we didn’t need it. The service is really disappointing. If they kept extending the checkout time to apologize unable to checkin, it will become a vicious cycle. This is Hilton, not some random 2star hotel.

None of the staff speak any English. Bar and restaurant not good and close very early. Won't be staying again

Breakfast could have more changes throughout stay.

Had an amazing experience staying here for 2 nights last weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even offered to upgrade my room for free. The hotel is in the center of the city and easy to get to pretty much everywhere. The room is extremely clean and comfy, I’d highly recommend this place if you ever plan to visit Shenzhen.

Not up to Hilton Standards

Hilton only by name. This hotel is not up to Hilton standards and needs renovating. The carpets were old and smelled musky. I had to request a room without carpets after change rooms twice without satisfaction. I had to contend with a lower grade room without the smelly carpets but it was worth the sacrifice. The cleaning was also very sloopy for a five star.

The location is near shopping centre, and room is very clean

Nice hotel but some facilities problems

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, hotel breakfast is ok. Location is good. There are some improvements can be made. The hotel provided phone charging cable, but the voltage is too low, it take long time to charge one phone. We forgot to bring our own charging cable for this trip. We have several phones and tablets to charge, and it take overnight and cannot complete all charging. There is no soap provided in the bath room. All liquid soap and shampoo bottle are fixed inside of the shower room and cannot take it away. Therefore when you take a bath on the tub, you got nothing to use (you can only soaked on the bath tub with hot water, nothing else. You cannot wash your body by any detergent). All you can do is going to the shower room after. Seems like the beautiful bath tub is only for display. The hair dryer is super noisy but blowing power is weak. Cannot dry the hair even my daughter is very short hair. Therefore I give up to wash my long hair because of the bad hair dryer. Suppose I think I can ask the room service to change another hair dryer for me but it was nearly 1am in the morning… I prefer go to sleep.

Hotel was great. Dylan from reception was amazing, helping us above and beyond expectations.

Comfortable stay

The Hilton futian is a beautiful hotel. The only complaint is very is a lot of construction in the area so it can be a bid loud. It’s very comfortable and staff were friendly. One other thing was I couldn’t understand why they kept running out of glassware in the executive lounge!

I love the rain shower. The construction outside and the location are not up to my expectation.

The comfort is fantastic. However, one of my rooms had a problematic sliding door which was unresolvable unless we moved out and the sink leaked during our stay. The latter was promptly repaired but it left a not-so-good feel of the stay.

The location Of the hotel on google map was wrong and I was misled that it is very near my office when in fact it was 30 min away. Pls make sure the google maps is accurate

There is a major construction going on outside the hotel. Very confusing for drivers. Plus the noise day and night.

Was ok all and all but when you book a king size bed they give you a queen...

Staffs are friendly, room of King Deluxe is spacious, clean and comfort. We stayed on Mid-Autumn Festival, two boxes of mooncakes were given. But little bit disappointed with the swimming pool, quite small and not a chill place, also the staff asked us to buy swimming caps there and wear swim caps in the pool.

Very bad experience not worthy 5-star ranking

Not so good, no doorman service, no usher at breakfast buffet, very bad design at shower. At rooftop swimming pool, i cannot believe my eyes when I saw a swimming coach is training a number of kids, all parents standing beside the pool and watching. I was like an idiot adult swimming there.

Please read this review before booking your stay here. I stayed at the Shenzhen Hilton Futian in late August 2019. I have been an HHonors Gold Member since 2012, and I have never had any complaints. Typically upon seeing that I have Gold status, the staff usually goes out of their way to make my stay extra comfortable. That’s why I’ve continued my loyalty with Hilton. However, the same cannot be said of the Shenzhen Hilton Futian. If you are expecting any form of decent customer service, throw that idea out of your head. You won’t find it here. I booked my night through Expedia instead of Hilton.com. I was not expecting to receive HHonor points for my stay, but I was expecting the normal Gold status amenities, mainly access to the executive lounge. After the front desk had agreed to granting me access, I received a call to my room saying because I didn’t book through Hilton.com they don’t recognize my status. I could have chosen to stay at any other hotel in the city but I chose Hilton specifically because I have status there. My problem was not that I was denied my status (policy is policy, I totally get it), but actually what unfolded next. I asked to speak to the general manager, Mrs. Wang. She was not only dismissive, but she was actually condescending and rude. When your job in hospitality is to ensure your guests have a smooth experience, she did the exact opposite. She used a demeaning and sarcastic tone when speaking to me. Simply awful. Avoid this hotel.

Truly appalling hotel and I look forward to never staying here again

Good location close to Metro. Restaurants nearby. Many attractions accessible through metro. Pool is long enough for a good swim. Food is too expensive in the hotel.

It's very old hotel and all things- furniture, bathroom, beds are old. clean but not that clean. Location is not that attractive. I would recommend other place if you have budget .

Nice hotel but some areas of improvement

great spacious rooms. nice breakfast with lots of choices but service started getting patchy when it became busy. Nice pool but pool areas needs some lounge chairs and would be nice to have pool service such as drinks or snacks.

Hotel is clean and up to the Hilton standards. Location is convenient. Maybe a quick and simple breakfast should be made available beside the expensive buffet, for people in a hurry in the morning.

The staff was not accommodating at all. Sometimes with business travelers you have to be flexible and this hotel's staff is quite the opposite. This is how you lose customers.

Room size is big enough, but need fresh air. Bath towel is too old and not match the hotel quality. B/F is too simple

However, since there were some groups were having events, had some limitation to enjoy the hotel's facility and noisy even until 5am....OMG I was expected to use the hotel bar.. but coudln't use the 23rd floor's bar because one of the groups was having event there. well... but the room was good

Not worth the money to stay here

This hotel cannot provide a quiet environment as long as the construction site have not finished its works. The heavy machine sound was very irritating during the middle of the night. The edge of the wall in the shower room is all black. Room 1801.

There were two promotions when I booked the hotel. One is discount on foods and other is free dining for 2. However, the manager there said that was ONE promotion only. That’s not consist with what it shows on the website.

Good hotel, large bed. The google map location is wrong, making us spend ard half an hour to search for the real location

the food was bad, HK instant noodles but was chinese ramen. HK Wonton noodles that’s totally not crispy and use chinese ramen broth.

Toilet was stuck a few times , I don't understand how this happen at a four and a half star hotel. In the middle of the night woke up a few times because it was too hot even when the aircon is on , maybe because they on the heat or something have to wait for them to close.did not sleep well

Construction had me up waaay to early after landing st 3:00am due to frequent domestic China flight delays.

Non refundable but they at least were flexible and gave us a partial refund when we booked the wrong Hilton location and switched from Futian to Shekou. Also it is not clear on website when there are more than one location of a chain within the same city.

位置是在CBD，只是旁邊一堆工地，連路面也不平，個人比較推薦會展中心站那邊的酒店。早餐達不到應有的水準。泳池健身室很不錯！

Portion of our money was stolen from the safe

Overall hotel experience was good until we found out that the portion of our money was stolen from the safe. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and put $2,100 and couple HK dollars in the safe right after our arrival. We didn't bother to count the money when we checked out from the hotel since we believed Hilton is one of the most prestigous hotels in the world. We directly went to the airport from the hotel and on our way there my husband counted the money and found out that $300 was stolen and we had $1,800 left (we didn't open the safe nor touched the money during our stay since we had enough yuan to use in Shenzen). The hotel staff/thieves didn't steal all the money cause they knew we could complain right away. In order to avoid suspicion they stole only small portion of the money. Who would think that you can lose money from the safe especially in a hotel like Hilton. We are very dissaponted. Be aware!!!

Great place for a solo traveler.

This was on par with a 5 star hotel I stayed at in shinagawa japan, the takanawa prince hotel. This Hilton I will use on my next trip to Shenzhen! The staff at the buffet was spectacular. Most notably Heather and Kevin. Great people!

This hotel was up to Hilton Hotel standard. The room was clean, staffs were very friendly.. It was located in the center of Shenzhen city, and close to a lot of shops and offices. However, there were some sort of long-term constructions going when I stayed there. The unbearable noise started 6:30 am. The staffs told me the noise would continues until 11 pm at night. So if you like to be in a quiet room, this hotel might not be your best choice until the construction finished.

Shenzhen one day trip

Hotel room is extremely clean with ample space. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Great location! Unfortunately there is a government project contruction going on now in front of the hotel, so there is noise but the hotel staff can assist you on that

I was given a room which had no blinds and the curtain was so light that the room was so bright that one could not sleep.

Just don’t understand... I think I paid for 2 adults and 1 kids, but room is only prepared for 2 people (bed and amenities), also showing including breakfast but hotel need to charge another RMB120 for the kid...a bit disappointed

Excellent hotel!..........

Great hotel. Would definitely stay there on future trips. Concierge service was exceptional, thank you! Even down to arranging to collect my train ticket from the local station.

Convenient location in the city center. Coffee shop right below hotel for those that need their daily cup of Java. Room rate is good value compared to other 5 star hotels in the area.

Dirty room

Disappointing. Previously stayed at this property & was very impressed. The room had not been vacuumed as there were some food crumbs on the floor that stayed there the entire visit. There were also food stains on carpet as well as something that had been spilled on side of bedside table. Between the bath tub & wall were dust bunnies or cigarette ashes, I couldn't really tell or want to spend the time. Definitely could have been cleaner. Comfy bed & great shower.

great overall but missing some details

its a hilton after all, there are minor stuffs I should address. 1. missing hooks for hanging towels. 2. the air conditioning only has "heat" mode, meaning I called the concierge to unlock the building windows for me. 3. I needed to call room service for a shaver.

The room given to me was much smaller than the room I had before and I had reserved the same type of room which was a King Guest Room with a king bed.The hotel declined to change another room despite my request.

Nice hotel in the area

Centrally located and walkable to other areas of interest. The view from the back of hotel overlooking an older area is not pretty but the room is superb.

Issues with Food and Smell

As a Gold member, I stay at Hilton whenever I can. I was very disappointed with this stay. Two reasons. I had gotten food with my wife. Hers arrived within about 20min, mine didn't arrive for another 30 minutes after that. Obviously it was forgotten about. Then when it came, the steak was cold and raw inside. I was upset and could not eat it. Nothing was done. Not until I talked to the manager, he offered the 15% service removed, which wasn't enough. We had to demand them remove the meal with the cold raw steak. I even showed him a picture. He finally agreed. The other reason I gave this hotel a 3/5 was the bathroom. It smelled like cat pee. We didn't complain about it, because we weren't in that area and didn't feel like moving rooms. But the smell was bad. Because of these two issues I cannot recommend this Hilton. It is the only Hilton I have never recommended.

Requested non-smoking room, but room had strong smoke odor. Otherwise, room was very nice. Amazingly comfortable bed & pillows! I would stay here again & recommend.

Business hotel?

Nice newish hotel. It had been raining so the pool was closed due to pollution, needed to be cleaned before it was cleared for use again?? Comfortable room, good breakfast, lovely helpful staff.

Good location, clean, comfortable room.

Ideal hotel located close to anything you may need in Shenzhen. Coco Park is a short taxi drive away and central location means it's easy to get to other districts. Never seemed to be too much traffic close to the hotel.

Rose petals on the bed

I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite with executive lounge privileges. I also received a free plate of fresh fruit and another of baked goods. Everything was wonderful. The executive lounge and ground floor restaurant foods were of high quality and tasty. Even further, I was celebrating a milestone of 1,002 stays at Hilton hotels, and they wrote it out in rose petals on the bed and on the floor around the bed.

overall enjoyed my stay due to the cleanliness, nice large room, clean gym and pool. The location wasn't convenient due to the lack of outside restaurants and stores.

Great firewall of China..... they locked out Google and Facebook but the Hotel used BVN for her guests.....unique. Eason, the concierge was awesome!

Very good service

Very friendly staff. Not perfect for sightseeing and relaxing as it is located in business district but cost only 20-50rmb to major attractions in the town. Taxi driver took me to Sheraton (where it is not very far from the hotel but not in walking distance) when I first arrived without the hotel's address card but it didn't happen again when I showed the card later. Again, the staffs are very friendly and willing to take care of the visitors, especially if you have kids. Not crowded and clean since the property is very new. Room size is also quite large.

Overnight Business Trip

The hotel is brand new so it was in good condition. I was only here for one night for a business trip so I didn't get to utilize any of the facilities. The bed was comfortable, however the room did not have heat and it is winter so my room was cold. The wifi wasn't free, it cost 88RMB per day for the premium wifi and the internet was still slow.

Good hotel

Is a new hotel. Hard to get a taxi to take us there and 1 of our taxis took us to the Sheraton instead. Very close to metro station for easy movement around shenzhen. Room was clean and fresh and staff were pleasent. Concierge was very helpful with directions and also helping to find shops or products.

Great Stay! Love this hotel and subway is a 5 min walk. Almost everything is good! Would come back again.

I was in Shenzhen to present at a workshop and stayed in this hotel. The hotel was new and very clean. Breakfast buffet was good. Children loved pool.
