Harassed by reception staff
The service at the hotel couldn’t have been worse. Each time we dialed to get room service, the line was busy. When we did get ahold of them, they didn’t respond to the service. In room dining was extremely overpriced and terrible. The selection was also poor in the restaurants. The restaurant staff were the only nice employees. Those at the front desk and reception were not. Upon checkout, we were told to head to the “smaller” office near the next. When we arrived (walking, though we asked for a cart and one wasn’t available), we were told we had an outstanding balance and they couldn’t charge us at that desk. They requested we walk (they couldn’t reach the person with the cart) down to reception to settle the bill and take our bags with us. This is in 80+ degree weather and we had to catch a ferry so we didn’t have time. We told them to charge the card on file and left to catch our ferry. Just after we left, Anna at reception sent me threats on WhatsApp and called me to tell me that she would inform immigration and I wouldn’t be able to leave the island. She sent a barrage of messages, which I didn’t see while driving. When I responded I asked her to send me a bill via email and I would settle it. She emailed me a PDF bill with no link for payment. Hours later she finally sent a link with a notification that she has put an alert with immigration. This all was within just hours of us departing and asking them to charge the card. We were harassed. I will never return.
Wonderful staff. We got upgraded to a room with a pool and it was divine.
Any survey that "requires" a response can go stuff itself.
Expected more and needs to be refurbished Overall a decent property but I was expecting a lot more for spending $500 a night. House keeping didn't refresh the room well, shower gel missing, dental kits, sanitary kits, etc..minimum standard of expectation - you don't expect guests at 10.30pm to ask house keeping for these. The AC is old so it didn't really keep the room cool, the AC also was facing the sofa and bathroom rather then the bed. So the sofa area was cool, but when we went to sleep it was very hot and sticky- we had to remove the blanket and just sleep in a sheet. So definitely a refurbishment and up keep is needed. It was our last night of our honeymoon and Hilton or management didn't offer us anything which is terrible customer service and satisfaction. Bats at night make a lot of noise so if you're a light sleeper you aren't going to sleep well. Buggy service isn't great - we waited 15mins with our bags before we decided to walk to reception. Staff are friendly but not very attentive or proactive i.e. at both the reception and the restaurants The sunset view is lovely though - I'll give them that. But for what we paid it was definitely not worth it.
Clean, freshness, ocean breeze and spacious
Like it
Excellent
Gorgeous property and fantastic staff Really a beautiful memorable stay.
Beautiful hotel and location. Fantastic service, staff were brilliant
Fantastic service, low Transportion
Absolutely fantastic , will be coming back.
Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is a beautiful resort, fully living up to or even exceeding expectations. It's in a stunningly beautiful location, the rooms are nice, staff is very friendly and helpful, and even the restaurants provided high quality and diverse food. Would totally come back again, and can only recommend. Only downsides I guess were that the TV in the room was literally facing a wall, not a sitting area or bed, which felt strange, and a bit more fumigation to reduce the number of cockroaches around the public spaces and bar would improve hygiene perceptions.
Lovely rooms with a beautiful view. However, food and service was much better at other venues we stayed at in the Seychelles in the same price range.
Good stay at Mahe. We had a very warm reception with champagne and a smooth check-in service. They even helped arrange for our transportation from ferry terminal to the hotel. The hotel itself is pretty decent with large rooms. Furnitures are well maintained albeit pretty old. Staff at reception was very helpful and responsive at all times. Lots of windows and big balconies. Wish the AC was a little better though. We had some problems with the alarm and balcony fan when we were there but the staff fixed it up in a giffy which was extremely helpful. The food was alright. Good breakfast buffet and several interesting creole dishes at the Mahe restaurant. The service was very slow though. We had to wait at least 30 minutes each time we ordered anything at the restaurant. Even for made to order breakfast, there is a wait time before they serve you. The champagne does make up for the waiting at breakfast though. :) The beach at the hotel is not much so you may want to venture out to other beaches to actually get a good swim. We were staying at the end leg of our Seychelles tour hence didn’t have much to complain for this one. There is the Beau Vallon beach nearby and definitely suggest renting out a car to explore Mahe when staying here.
Incredible service! Beautiful property and well maintained! Deluxe villa was amazing!
This is a very beautiful property. All rooms have a view of the ocean. We stayed in a more economical room and it was like staying in a tree house, so cool. Very nice breakfast as well. Keep in mind, there is not a big area for lounging on the beach here, but there is access to the ocean and a small beach. For a bigger lounging area you will need to go to a nearby beach (there is a shuttle).
Lovely room overlooking the sea. Great food and staff were amazing.
Staff could not of been more helpful. Fully recommend
I am happy with everything. Love it.
I stay there for two days I really like the room. The room is beautiful and clean and it’s big and with the swimming pool is amazing for a picture. The stuff is all right one thing I don’t like it the food the breakfast is really limited. It’s only egg and bread but the server at the breakfast please it’s amazing they’re friendly they give you options. Specially, precious we thank you overall it good I will give them 4 stars
Amazing place. Patrick was the most accommodating host and provided many suggestions for us to enjoy the island
Amazing property with incredible views. My partner and I stayed in a premium oceanfront villa and we didnt want to leave the resort. We struggled to leave the room! Great resort, excellent staff and incredible location
There was a constant smell in the bathroom Also, there was a leak that was not fixed properly despite multiple requests
-
The staff was amazing however, in and around transportation was only available by taxi.
Amazing hotel!
Nice stay
Lovely stay at Northolme. Comfortable, spacious villa with uninterrupted views of the ocean fabulous sunrise and sunset vista. Faultless staff, attentive and courteous.
Hilton is outstanding
Absolutely so impressed! I will forever be a Hilton fan! The service is top-notch, the food is excellent, I really do care about your happiness and your comfort. It’s so worth the money I’ll never book anywhere else but Hilton!
Lovely stat
The room was comfortable. It could do with a degree of modernisation. Service was good. Our private pool was brilliant.
Very nice staff, great spa and well equipped gym. The restaurant has an amazing view however the food is not good and it is pricy. The hotel is located in an area without access to any other restaurant within a walking distance. The sunset view from the hotel is stunning
Worth the booking
Location is beautiful. We did not get the villas but the room we did get was just as amazing. The bathroom and the view was so good to wake up to.
Relaxing stay for couples
We arrived early in the morning well before check. All the staff were welcoming and were able to prepare a room for us before midday. The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for in a couples get away. It was quiet and very private. There is a small beach that is nice to swim or you can use the hotel provided snorkelling equipment and kayak. It is easy to get a taxi or park your own car. In a short walk you can get to a small market area and other bars and restaurants if you want something different. We would recommend the Hilton Northolme to any couples looking for a relaxing get away in a beautiful location and with great staff.
Excellent
Very nice and very recommended. The staff is very helpful and will do everything for your stay. The room was magnificent with panoramic view
Rrstaurant frim hell
Very nice suite with private pool, excellent service. Just the food in mIn restaurant is 2 stars and nkt 5. You must remember that food is one of the most important factors.. Ordered chefs signature dish: fish with calamari.. Fish was dry like a dessert and 2 pieces of calamari on the left side. Disgusting!! Short ribs: at least 80% of the portion was pure fat.. Is this a cheff? Where did this idiot learned to cook?? No apology, nothing.. charged in full... Yes, i know hotel manager will come up with polite political answer...as usual. I was not rhe only one complaining. You need to be complete idiot to run such restaurant in this kind of luxurious property.
Stunning hotel with substandard service
We stayed in the pool villa which was absolutely stunning and possibly the saving grace for this hotel. Service was a bit hit and miss and you get the feeling from some of the staff that they didn’t want to be there. Food wasn’t great either. The aircon in the room isn’t powerful enough for the size of the room and I would wake up sweating even when it was set at 16.5 degrees celcius. There’s a lot of potential for this hotel but the service definitely needs improving.
ood
Great stay great staff. Not many amenities and watersports though
Just Chill and Enjoy the Nature!
Well, it was purely amazing! Let me tell you by points: 1) Insects, geckos, cockroaches: Normally I am terrified even talking about these kind of animals and I’ve checked all the reviews from here and basically everywhere about couple of hotels only on this insect issue :) We’ve ended up with Hilton Northolme just because of the fact that there were less complaints about insects! You know what, yes, we’ve seen all of them since Seychelles does have its own natural beauty and purely it is a piece of heaven but we haven’t seen any insects in our hotel room. We’ve stayed in the Hilton Northolme Ocean Villa and we haven’t seen any of them in the room, which was pretty enough for me. Also there is a mosqiuto bar around the bed in the room which made me comfortable during the stay. 2) Hotel staff They are so sincere and friendly! Especially special thanks to Brian, Nelly, Susantha who made our stay with lots of laughs and chats. Everybody is willing to help all the time, just ask what you need, you’ll definitely get help on time! And Hilton Northolme; you are so lucky to have Brian, Nelly and Susantha! :) 3) Room Cleaniless & Conditions: The Ocean Villa is just in front of the ocean and I cannot tell how amazing it is to sleep and wake up with the sound of waves and birds! Cleaning of the towel and room in general were perfectly fine and it is the same with the pool and restaurants. Thanks for everything!
Perfect vacation, clean room, nice swimming pool, great food
Amazing hotel!!
Relaxing Stay
Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The property is well-maintained, and even though we had a couple of service issues, they were kindly addressed. It was due to a language barrier- so anyone staying here may want to double-confirm bookings to be 100% safe. This is one of the nicest resorts on Mahe Island. The restaurants are a bit weak, as much better food awaits in the nearby town of Beau Vallon- other than that, everything else was very good to excellent- as it should be at this price point.
Rooms badly need updating not to Hilton standards. Hotel staff not remorseful when having to depart early due to family death
Wonderful time.
Absolutely amazing! Everything was so wonderful!
Paradise seychelles
The most beautiful scenery with great installations. We were disappointed however with the restaurants. Not a healthy options and the dinner buffet was not of good wuality
Fantastic place, sluggish WiFi, expensive buffet
Fantastic place. A few comments just to prepare people that may visit: * The WiFi can be inconsistent, ok in the common areas but it was really really bad at our villa (307/Private Pool Villa). * The food at the Hilltop restaurant is really expensive (buffet dinner for 2 would start at €100-ish. The prices at the Ocean Bar are a little better. * There is a great tour option offered by the hotel jointly with a local tour operator. You take a boat from Mahe to Praslin (see the coco de mer trees and seeds and the beautiful Anse Lazio beach) + another stop in La Digue for lunch, the giant turtles park and more beaches. It was being sold at €180 at the hotel, we couldn't find any better option beforehand and we were really glad we did the tour.
The room we were put in was really dated and it smelled of fresh paint as the hotel was painting the outside of our villa . The food was not great for vegetarians, the margarita pizza in particular tasted like the sauce was made from tomato ketchup. I was disappointed with the hotel especially considering how expensive it is.
The resort is beautiful! Our villa was very large with a great sunset view. Very tropical grounds. Infinity pool overlooks ocean, food at both bar and restaurant was delicious! They let us hang out on grounds after check out time as our plane was not until 10:50 pm! Lovely staff and service!
I liked how easy it was walking from the villa to restaurants and reception also i like the size of the swimming pool!
The photos don't do this place justice, the sweeping views at the pool are incredible. Such a lovely, beautiful place to zone out and enjoy life for a few days. Lovely staff, great meaty pizza in the James Bond Bar. Incredible birds/wildlife! Serene setting, lovely rooms, great people.
I thought the view from our room was nice, but the walk to it was hard since I’m pregnant and had to walk up many steps. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive. The rooms were nice but since each villa is built like a wood cabin you could hear everyone walking and moving about in the room. I have two complaints: 1. I felt like I was slighted when it came to receiving complete service from the concierge. When we asked for more economical options to tours, we did not receive a response. As a matter of fact, when we asked about possible tour options we were not shown any packages. I had to contact a travel agency on the island myself and setup my own tour. I saw the same concierge providing detailed information on tour packages etc to other guests so I am not sure the reason for the lack in service when we requested information. 2. Being this hotel has a sister hotel on another island that many guests venture to, I think it would be a great benefit to guests to offer a complimentary shuttle service to the jetty/pier. Now, guests have to pay close to $25 dollars for a 8-10 min ride to the jetty/pier.
The infinity pool and view over the ocean was amazing. So relaxing The free coffee and fresh fruit a nice touch. Not so great, we had water issues in our villa that meant we had to shower in another villa one night and then the pressure was low. This was fixed and they gave us two free breakfasts to compensate. We ordered room service on one night, very expensive and really not great food. So I would skip the room service.
The Ocean view with infinity pool was smth out of this world. The rhing that i didnt like was that My wife and I wanted to celebrate our honeymoon with a sunset pool tray with appetizers however the hotel onformed us that it should be ordered 24 hours prior and that they are out of trays (chefs declaration).
Fab stay!
Fantastic experience - room upgrade and a complimentary lunch due to a slight delay in a room being ready.
Great staff, great snorkeling and wonderful buffet. It’s a bit far from everything, so you need a taxi to get around to Beau Vallon Beach and Victoria.
Very nice hotel, staff very helpful. You do need a car to get around as the hotel is far to walk from the tourist area.
Amazing location, great service and food. The views are incredible from the rooms as well as the restaurants
Wonderful stay
Amazing location ; excellent service
Do not snorkeling in hotel the guys are too young to be able to save guests
I had a wonderful honeymoon start in this hotel. One of the best I’ve been in my life!!!
We have liked everything about the hotel. Its view to the ocean is breathtaking. Its near to the beach, literally a walking distance. The staff are very professional. We have enjoyed our time at Hilton. Its the best hotel.
Great location, facing west for beautiful sunset
All rooms have beach view. Nice views from all restaurants. Infinity pool, live music 3 nights a week. Service is very good.
Great hotel with decent facilities and up to date services, but poorly trained staff who'll discriminate based on race and the likes. Not what you'd expect from a hotel like the Hilton. The Hilton needs to look into this urgently to prevent a damage to the brand from the smallest franchise it has worldwide. Staff of the hotel would invade your privacy by giving you calls more than 10 times in a day with one frivolous request or the other. These calls would happen up till 10:00 p.m. at night which was very unrelaxing, especially after giving feedback on your dislike for the frequent calls. But, it'd appear the workers work in silos as information passed to one caller has to be repeated over and over again as the shifts change. I actually booked a trip to Praslin and La Digue islands on the recommendation of a staff james, who requested to have my breakfast ready by 6:20 a.m. in the morning so I could catch the 8:20 a.m ferry to these islands. I eventually went without breakfast! The restaurants options were very poor, but after suffering for 2 days, I rented a car and got to eat better meals at the boat house restaurant and La Plage which solved my problems and at a fraction of the price provided at the Hilton. Overall a great facility with wonderful views, but horrible staff with poor customer service training. I stayed at Savoy which is 2-3 minutes drive away having elapsed my payments at the Hilton, and my vacation was salvaged.
Perfect start to honeymoon at Hilton Seychelles
We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon. It is pure paradise. Our villa was perfect. The restaurant offers a great variety of food and drink options. The bar is great for a drink by the ocean. Best advice is to hire a car to get to the hotel and explore the island.
Honeymoon
More by luck than good judgement we booked the Hilton Northolme for a 7 day honeymoon. The hotel is all chalet, is not your typical big resort, very intimate and adult only. Every day we thanked our good luck for booking such a great place. Staff are excellent, really helpful and responsive. Rooms are large, fabulous views and great facilities.
Good facility but awful service! Except
Service staff were not tranied enough. Only breakfast staff was amazing and cheff chris
Nice Room but very poor service and average food
The room we took was gorgeous. However the hotel food was average and the concierge service for the hotel was awful. Anything you asked for, they would say we will check and get back to you but never did. To book a dinner reservation I had to call 4 times. If you want to go out you will need to use google as the hotel is useless at helping. Overall at the price point i would pick another hotel. Please also do not pick this hotel if you would like a good beach experience-- the beach is extremely rocky, and not for swimming.
Breathtaking views from every angle!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the customer service was wonderful. Great check in experience (cannot remember the gentleman’s name), we loved our villa with the infinity pool and spectacular view. James was very helpful with coordinating a island tour for us with Joseph who shared a wealth of knowledge about the beautiful island of Seychelles! Cindy (spelling) in the restaurant was warm and friendly. Thank you all!
Fabulous Property!
This hotel is paradise. Especially if your staying at the grand villa with an infinity pool. From the staff to the food to the room everything was outstanding! Staff goes out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Kudos to Hilton! Would love to visit again in the near future.
Highly recommend. Had a great time.
We went for 8 days in early November for our honeymoon. It was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Villas are very private, comfortable, and clean. Large deck that felt like it was almost over the water. The whole resort is quiet and relaxing, even the shared pool rarely had more than 2 other couples around it. Never been to Seychelles before, it is beautiful. Steep granite mountains, white sand beaches, and the clearest water I have every seen. People around the island and Beau Vallon are very friendly. Only downside is the food is just OK. Not bad but not spectacular. Other than that no complaints what so ever and had an amazing time.
Seychelles visit
The setting of the hotel is nice however the swimming pool was very small. The staff were attentive and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was sub par.
It was a good experience however we feel that the hotel is more a 4star rather than a 5 star hotel ! One must be cautious in the bath tub !
An amazing place! Warmly recommended for couples and who is looking for relax
Hotel is very cozy and pleasant, however the beach is tiny but nice. Hotel transfer is overpriced from the airport, in addition to Euro 70.00 VAT and service charge was charged, accordingly I suggest to use taxis! Breakfast is very nice, with lots of varieties and amazing view from the restaurant. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Guest requests shall be more carefully attended. I have requested hotel to write Happy Birthday for my husband, the usual way hotels do to write WELCOME on the bed, however when we arrived nothing was written on the bed and my request was completely ignored!!! The check-out in this hotel is 11am while worldwide it is 12 non, plus this resort is 5stars accordingly they need to accommodate the requests for late-check out but due to high turnover of guests and desire to earn as much as possible they kick guests out at 11am!! Other then that, our stay there was very pleasant.
Nice hotel, friendly staff
We stayed for a 3 nights at this resort. The staff was very friendly (specially the local ones, they give valid adivices). Small beach but lovely. The room was very clean but the floor was slipery and the bed is too noisy during action :)
Adults family
I went with my mom and sister.. The property was good. Alot of trees and flowers. Excellent atmosphere.. No insects.. Good welcoming and reception.. Very froendly staff.. One of the best.. Fast service.. Everything we needed was available, The room was big and the private pool was amazing against the ocean.. Very clean beds and bathroom.. The food is excellent .. Breakfast team is really amazing and friendly especially Nadia.. The only downside was that the wifi wasnit working for a night and they made it up to us by complementary fruits and it was fixed next day
Nice for private getaway!
We stayed in the Ocean View room with a private pool. We had no reason to leave our room except to eat. The beach and hotel pool isn't overly great. I probably would not stay at this hotel if I didn't have a private pool, though. If you want good beach and pool on the resort, this may not be your place.
Excellent hotel in terms of location, quality of rooms and food, but most importantly the hotel staff. The staff were exceptionally well trained in customer service.
Awesome location and villas. Perfect service and staff
5 stars!
The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. They had an amazing private cove that was perfect for snorkeling, and even provided free snorkel equipment to borrow. Their cocktails were very tasty and the restaurant "Les Cocotiers" was incredible! Also, the buffet for breakfast was by far the best I've had in any hotel I've stayed in. The only downside to the hotel was that our room was a pretty far walk, about 3 to 4 minute walk, to the main part of the hotel/restaurant. We also had issues with the air conditioning in our room the first day. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again.
Great Romantic Get-A-Way !!!!
Great resort on the North-West side of Mahe Island. From the airport it is a pretty far Taxi ride (a bit expensive as well) but it is a very scenic journey. If you can and want to I suggest renting a small car to get around. Taxi from the Airport is $60. Also the Marina where you would probably be heading if you want to go to visit the other islands or go out on the ocean is close to the airport. We did not leave the Resort grounds so I am not sure of the costs of going on these tours. They have everything you could ask for on the resort. The food was great (but expensive) and even when the place was at full capacity you hardly saw anyone or heard anyone. All of the Villas are pretty much the same layout inside. The first 2 nights we stayed in a Hillside Villa with Ocean view. The room was nice and cool and the view was awesome. Then on our last 2 nights (we only stayed 4 nights) we stayed in a Hillside Pool Villa and again it was a great Ocean view and made for some great Sunset pictures. Walking around the grounds were also amazing with an abundance of flowers, trees and birds.
Excellent hotel right next to beach
The villas of hotel have an amazing view and the staff is very courteous and efficient. Special mention of Mr.James who gave information regarding the places to see in Seychelles. Will recommend this place for your stay in Seychelles.
Great private hotel
Highly recommended for those who are looking for privacy. Everything about this hotel is amazing the only downside is the beach not the greatest over there but the hotel is at close proximity of another nice beach :)
Not 5-star service
With the exception of the porters, service was not very friendly or personal (the restaurant service was especially bad - piles of plates on our table, un-attentive & slow staff) - just not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel with reputation as the Hilton. Food/services were expensive - to be expected - but the US$80+ dinner buffet was a standout, especially for a vegetarian who wasn't very hungry! Can't fault the room though - pool villa was a dream!
Lovely resort with limited restaurants
Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast time was good with moderate buffet.

Everyone will ask if you got engaged
Even your family and those closest to you will be all "SHOW US THE RING" and you'll be all "IT WAS JUST A HOLIDAY" and they will be all "LIAR" and you'll be like "I'M SORRY" The hotel is absolutely glorious. Look in any direction and it's either crystal blue water, white sand, misty mountains or tropical jungle. The staff are utterly attentive, and always chatty and helpful. We spent ten days with Hilton, and only left the premises three times in total as it was just so relaxing to stay in the private villa or down by the pool or beach.
Beautiful property but not recommended
Beautiful property with nice sunset views. Numerous disappointments however. Room have electrical problems with lights and ceiling fans recurring over three days ... never fully resolved. Location doesn't have much beach, none at high tide. Staff was very friendly but service was always slow. Food and drinks were very over priced and quality was just OK.
Beautiful pool villa, food is a very low standard
We stayed in a beautiful pool villa and the resort itself was stunning. A beautiful private beach and decent facilities, the resort itself felt like a good 4 star, not up to 5 star standards in my opinion. We stupidly paid for 1/2 board (breakfast & buffet dinner) breakfast was ok, sausages & bacon were not good (dry & overcooked) kitchen staff cooking omlets seemed rude & miserable. dinner was appalling, the food was on par with a holiday in. Dry & overcooked. No fresh fish or veggie options ever! felt this is no way a 5 star experience, also they charge for water which we would of expected to be inclusive in 1/2 board. Management did remove this cost after negotiations. I feel that we wasted allot of money on 1/2 board & would never recommend it here. Real let down to our week here. food so bad we are out a few nights as couldn't bear it any longer...
Shyah!
My first Hilton stay rocked some serious face
Great hotel, poor food.
The hotel was beautiful, rooms were gorgeous, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the food was of substandard quality, not just by a 5 star hotel standard, but by any standard. So poor we didn't pay for the one meal we had at the hotel and ventured into town for all other meals (other than breakfast, since it was included but even that was average). Shame as the resort was gorgeous.
Excellent villa, great views, private pool
Beautiful villa, well maintained, private pool, sitting area, large bathroom. All well kept. Staff was pleasant and courteous. Only downside was room service, although prompt delivered cold dinner. No heater carts to kept meals warm until serving. Don't order a room service dinner. Great location for the whole property. Very helpful with service requests, restaurant bookings and local travel. Highly recommended.
Relaxing beautiful wooden villa on the hillside
Wonderful 12 night stay in a beautiful wooden villa. Relaxing feel. Comfortable. Spacious. Close enough to town but not too close. Quiet. Beautiful views of the bay and beau vallon. Lovely sunsets. On the tip of a point on rockey shoreline so you get southern, western and northern expose so good sunshine all day ( if a Sunday day) great snorkeling near by at sunset beach. Loved the spa that is built over the ocean. Stunning views. Loved the culture, loved creole food. Most relaxing vacation in a while. Has a very nice laid back vibe to the island and culture.
A little piece of paradise
Being from mainland Canada, having the opportunity to wake up every morning with a view of the Indian Ocean from the bedroom (& bathroom) was quite the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating, & they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We did not feel as if we were just another customer.
Good but no 5*, things just dont work!
We stayed here for 2 weeks as a beach holiday and were amazed by the island and the beauty of it. When we fist arrived at the hotel all seemed perfect. Great setting and amazing views out to sea. Things soon changed as we noticed the leaks from the room above and that several things in the room just did not work, lights, hair dryer, dvd player and the door handle to go onto the balcony came off in our hands. Now for a 5* hotel this is not good enough and should have been checked. We did mention this to the staff at the reception the following day and they said would sort it, no problem. After 2 days nothing was sorted so I asked to speak with the manager who was very good and did changed the room for us. He assured us everything in the new room would be checked and it was an upgrade to an ocean view room. We then moved into our new room to find things were still not working but wanted to enjoy our holiday so left it at that. The staff are friendly but don’t really care as they always say your welcome before you have even finished what your saying. Real shame as they hotel could be amazing... Try Kempinski for similar money which we visited and spent a nice day there or if you want true 5* and budget allows go to Four Seasons Hotel which also has best beach on the Island.
Heaven
Perfect experience...amazing hospitality
Amazing hotel
Like staying in a magical rainforest Beautiful hotel situated in amongst tress, natural streams and liking outnumber a gorgeous bay Superb
Good deal
The scenic view is common for every hotel in Seychelles, however this hotel has good service and adequate facilities ! Five stars with good deal is also meaning higher rating !
Honeymoon Getaway
Fantastic ocean view all round, perfect setting for a honeymoon. Superb hotel staff, very helpful & friendly. Loved the food as well.
Great hotel
Great room. It is a great hotel which is truly amazing because of the lack of mgt visibility. The mgr probably overseas the 3 Hilton properties in the Seychelles. Lots of great little details and lots of details misses; trash not cleared from beach but flowers with ever pool towel. General Manager need to walk the property at least 3 times a day!
