This hotel by far is the best one we've stayed in while visiting San Antonio Riverwalk.

Perfect location on the River Walk.

The beds were doubles rather than queens, which is what was advertised however most hotels offer queens. Double sized is difficult to get comfortable in for a family of four. The room was extremely nice, very clean, and had every amenity we could ask for. They have multiple restaurant and bar options to choose from, but the breakfast buffet was amazing! It is extra, but totally worth it. The only other major issue is the parking. There is a ton of construction going on around the hotel, leaving no place to park. None. And they charge $55 to valet overnight. A total rip-off, if you ask me, considering there is literally no place to park anywhere close. It is on the River Walk so it is super convenient to many other restaurants and within walking distance of the Alamo.

So close to all of the action that you visit San Antonio for.

Nice location, access to Riverwalk and shops.

The valet & the.guys that take your luggage were so nice. They provided the best customer service I've ever had. The guy at the front desk was very nice as well and very informative. Loved everything about this place.

River walk

We enjoyed our stay here. The river walk was right outside our window. The views are beautiful day and night. Easy access to the river walk and restaurants and bars . That being said, there is considerable construction going on all around the building except for the Riverwalk side. It is still easy to get in and out of the hotel and at someday it will be beautiful. I’m sure. We weren’t bothered by noise from the construction. The staff is very helpful and very friendly, and the property was clean and in good condition.

Construction was going on outside adm also work was being done early morning no time to relax in room due to work being done in adjacent room

Over Priced

Very overpriced! I had a great time and love San Antonio, but I will choose a different stay on the River Walk next time. Due to construction, it was $55 a day if you left with your vehicle, and there was no complimentary breakfast to be offered. I was going to cancel prior, but there was also no cancellation. I suggest that travelers not choose this place. There were way better options I should have chosen, but I have never been, and this was the first that popped up for a River Walk stay.

Staff is fantastic!

Great great location, couldn’t get better actually. Staff was amazing and valet was the best. I love the old/historic vibe of the hotel, absolutely beautiful. The only downside were the double beds, me and my husband barely fit! But our 3 year old definitely had room. The beds were okay in softness but would prefer softer for sure.

Nice rooms and great location on River Walk

Rooms were older. Housekeeping came in our room at 815 in the morning and checkout was at 11! The housekeeper told me I should have had the do not disturb on the door! I’ve never had this happen on a day of checkout, not impressed!

I don't like that the hotel has an extra charge to park your car, parking should already be provided by the hotel with your stay not extra charge for valley or have to self park across the plaza.

I liked my stay at the hotel, the only thing was that I forgot my tablet charger and when I called to tell them about it, they told me that they had not found anything.

Only thing would be our TV didn’t work, and they couldn’t fix it due to having to order what was needed. They did offer another room, but it was 10 at night and too late to change rooms for only staying 1 night. Construction being done at main entrance of hotel, so a little confusing upon arriving. Just fyi, if you check out and leave you bags with them to hold for you (they offer this) while you go walk the riverwalk you won’t be able to get back into the hotel through the door you existed as you need a hotel key, so we flagged a staff member down. Other than that right off the river walk, lots of shops and restaurants.

With the exception that we were not aware that coolers were not allowed the area and the room was comfortable. Construction was a little disruptive early in the morning.

I stayed two nights and the bell man by the name of Derek was great ….. he def made my stay a little brighter ….. hire more employees like him …..

For the price we paid not worth it $1050 for two night plus $150 in parking We thought it would be convenient for the river walk but just a door to go in and out of.

Your hotel was beautiful best view to Riverwalk and all the beautiful Christmas lights. Only draw back was construction on outside near front of building but it was minimal

Stay was great! The room we had had an excellent view of the river walk! My kids loved it!

It's always a great stay at this hotel. definitely 5 stars rating all the time. only issue I had this time around was the Contruction right in front of the hotel. Valet parking was difficult due to construction. price for parking should have been lowered, definitely longer wait times due to limits on space allowed.

New construction around the front of the property made travel a challenge

The rooms were good. The valet was absolutely terrible we waited 45 mintues for are car to be brought around. There was construction right by the hotel entrance and that wasn’t great either.

The view of the riverwalk is beautiful. The front of the property is under construction as well as the property across the street.

Property was very noisy due to construction. We had no choice but to pay for valet parking. It was loud. Honestly unimpressed. Paid for a luxury hotel and was disappointed.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were extremely clean, and I loved the balcony attached to the room.

Everything was of top standard, nothing too much trouble, the Christmas decor throughout was lovely, clean and well maintained Ali on reception, and rooms . valet parking were all exceptional hosts and made our stay most memorable. 😍

Beautiful historic hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed. Construction next door so a little noisy. Traffic was interesting getting in and out because of the construction but the valet guys had intake/exit very well handled.

My favorite hotel to stay at in San Antonio. However, there was lots of construction. Valet was backed up, they did the best job they could. Will always go back to this hotel, but will probably wait until after construction is over.

We were kindly greeted at the valet. Every Hilton employee we engaged with was great. Our room was very nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

A lot of renovation construction was taking place and it was more challenging getting into and out of the hotel than I was expecting. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice and comfortable. I would suggest that the team look at updating the property to give it a refreshed look.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Besides no attention in the valet, there was no parking for my 8 inch lifted truck which wasn’t mentioned to later find out you guys have over sized truck parking. As well as, $300 a night for no microwave, outlets in room 1131 weren’t working, bailment lost our luggage’s for 20 min just to tell us that someone took them to our room, and overall poor communication between the workers. We checked out past 2, but were told we were given 20 minutes in advance to head out. It was 2:09 and they weren’t lenient, we got charged an additional $50 more for getting out of the room 9 minutes late.

Everything at this property was great. Construction started early am on building next door. But, the real issue was more the noise from cars and motorcycles well into middle of the night on the weekend. I was on the construction side, so I get it, but, the late night music and car/ motorcycle noise was biggest issue. Restaurants, bars, reception, concierge etc. were excellent. Location was great for walking to nearby attractions. Great location, just a bit of street noise.

The staff for the most part was courteous and friendly. The hotel is dated and shows its age. Our room was on the 5th floor and directly in front of major construction going on, not quite the “city view” as advertised. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and I could feel springs in mattress, carpet in the room was dingy and there was mold in shower. Balcony should’ve been a plus however it was unusable due to the floor, chairs and table being covered in dust from construction. Earplugs are provided and recommended as construction starts at 5am even on Saturday. Attempted to call for room service multiple times and no one ever answered the phone. Overall, for the price, there are much better, newer options in the area.

The motel was nice and is located in a good location. The area is under construction which they were very nice in warning about the noise and even provided ear plugs in the room. We arrived an hour early (until check in time) and they had our rooms ready. Everyone was very nice. We didn't have hot water Saturday morning. We did Friday evening when we had a family member take a shower then but we had very little hot water the next morning. This was around check out time so I thought maybe it was due to everyone using the facilities but we didn't have hot water Sunday morning either. This needs attention. We tried to order room service Saturday evening and kept calling for 45 minutes. We would just receive a recording and then it would hang up. I walked down to the check in location and asked for some help and they told me that they were not responsible for room service and that I needed to go to the pizza restaurant (Fiume Pizzeria and Wine Bar). I went there and they told me that they were busy but they were not responsible for the room service issue. I did sit down and order a take go order which was good. This was an hour and half process to get food. We booked three rooms for two nights and spent a lot of money to not have hot water or room service. Not sure that we will book here again.

Major construcion at the front entrance. It happens but I asked for a quiet room from the noise from the Riverwalk and they desk person I have a room away from the noise . Gave me a room on the 6 floor directly in front of the building construction. I was waiving at the guys across the street. Moved to the 12th floor. Fridge not working and they offered a tech to come when he is available on a Friday night. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

Nice but could use a refresh.

We lived location and the hotel was nice. Only complaint is almost all outlets were so loose charging cell was hard. Our mattress needs replacing as it’s got the ole hump in middle.

We went for a night and stayed at this hotel and found a cockroach in our room. We called room service, the reception many times and asked them to come and clean it but no one showed up until i went to the reception myself. I am never staying at this hotel anymore.

The Rivers Edge Restaurant was excellent. Beautiful river view from the room. Convenient to walk to many sites. Would definitely stay again.

It was inconvenient to go back and forth to the property due to all the construction. The facility had a poor selection of snacks, and the gym could offer more than just treadmills.

Great place within easy walking to La Villita and the Riverwalk.

Love this hotel, beautiful. Rooms should come with a mini refrigerator automatically. If you want one its an extra charge, if you want balcony facing the River walk its an extra charge, parking $55.00 a day with construction blocking street in-front of hotel. We booked for 3 nights. No mention of loud construction at 5am from Hotel. I would have booked at a deferent hotel. It was my Anniversary.

The hotel is on the side of the river walk. You open the hotel doors and you are on the walkable path. A lot of restaurants near it. Evening time the surrounding area looks amazing. Nice and clean hotel. You will want to stay here again.

The bed needs a new mattress it sagged so much we kept rolling to the center. The shower too a long time to drain
