Nice clean western-style hotel.

Great place to make a stop on your way into the Kenyan interior. Transportation from airport was flawless and staff was amazingly congenial. F&B options were very good.

Hilton Garden Inn has been our choice of a place to rest when flying into Kenya. The property is clean, the food is great and the people are delightful.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean

I requested a wake up call twice for the next morning because I had an early flight and never got it, also the bed had dirty sheets. The next day I move to the hotel across the street better prices bigger and better buffet clean rooms, big difference. I have used Hilton hotels for a long time but this one time was very disappointed. And other disappointing thing was that I arrived one day before my reservation time and had to pay way more than what I was paying for my reservation. Why couldn’t they honor the same price? Knowing that I’m spending few nights there. Hilton, don’t forget there is a lot of competition out there!

Excellent hotels by Nairobi International Airport

This is an excellent hotel if arriving late at night before transferring to other Kenya destinations. Right next to the international airport. Very good 24 hour service and shuttles to the airport. Food was excellent. We had a suite which was perfect for our family.

Overall experience was excellent.

This is the second time I have been to this property. I enjoyed my stay here. One thing i didn't like about my second stay at the property was the shower. The drain was not working properly, by the time I was done taking a shower i was inside a pool of water.

Not a resort - for an airport hotel it was excellent

Staff need training

Currently staying here and I ordered room service after a late flight and have a 4:30am transfer back to the airport. I get two calls from the restaurant at 12:10am and 12:20am asking me to set up an account so they can charge my KSH1600 (USD12) bill. Most hotels you pay on check out! Hotel staff need training to understand what is an acceptable time to ring residents, certainly not 12:20am when people are fast asleep!!! Shuttle also took forever to leave which meant a delayed flight resulted in a super late night. Certainly was a poorer service than the time I stayed before. This is my second time staying here and safe to say I won’t be returning. Puts Hilton to shame and certainly will be raising this will Hilton chain.

Shuttle was not available at the airport otherwise all great

I gave a 4 above, just because we arrived very late at the hotel, and had to leave very early in the morning. We only stayed a total of 4 hours at the hotel! Personnel were pleasant and helpful, though, and the room was fine.

All good and a comfortable stay.

This hotel is convenient from the Nairobi international airport and has a complementary shuttle from the airport it is well mentioned and quiet. The breakfast is superb with a lot of choices. I didn't like that you had to use a metal detector when entering.

We stayed here for one night in between flights. The room overall and the bed were both very comfortable! We had dinner at the hotel and the food was great! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Airport transportation was very helpful!

The experience was wonderful the only thing that we could change was our names were not included on the register of guests to be picked up from the airport

Hotel was clean and comfortable and finished to a high standard, food was tasty and the staff were very friendly. Swimming pool on the roof. The only downside is there’s nothing to do within walking distance of hotel, but it is only a short taxi trip to the airport. The staff were the highlight of the hotel.

The airport transfer worked efficiently and easily, even when my flight was 4 hrs late. Felt really safe as a female solo traveller - access to floors via room key, deadlock on door, view hole. Only stayed over in long layover and was perfect for this.

I would have loved to have stayed here as i have before, but due to your incompetence i had to rebook direct with another hotel

My second time staying here in transit and honestly it has become a highlight of my Nairobi visits. Wonderful staff, convenient to the airport, great bedding, shower and toiletries, a lovely welcome plate of fruit and treats and a great restaurant. The staff are truly amazing.

I like a lot of things about this hotel, but I feel the restaurant is poorly managed. My past interactions with the restaurant have been minimal, but now that I stayed two full days, I got frustrated with the service too often. Out of 3 big meals, in 2 of them it took them more than 45 minutes to bring the food. The worst thing is that they promise to be fast (just 20 mins sir), but they can’t deliver. Even ordering a beer took like 15 mins. They seem to have enough people, but not well organized. I also had billing issues that took more of my time to resolve because they couldn’t decide whether I could sign the bill and pay at check out, or I had to pay immediately with my credit card. I didn’t really care, but unfortunately got involved in their disorder.

We got food poisoning and my 8yr has been sick since then I don’t know why you should serve food that’s not fresh yet u expect guest everyday

I stayed for one night arriving from Paris late in the evening and flew to Mombasa next morning. They arranged for shuttle to and from. The room was nice and quiet. The breakfast was good. The desk staff and the restaurant staff were very helpful

The staff of Hilton Garden - close to the airport - were warm and friendly. The weather wasnt good when I was there so walking around the area was near impossible. But the hotel was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was great.

My Go-To Airport Hotel in NBO

Hands down one of the best hotels to stay in in Nairobi, and definitely, in my opinion, the best airport hotel in Nairobi. From the Shuttle bus convenience, the driver, the welcome staff at the airport, the staff at the front desk, the room and the friendliness of everybody, this hotel makes you really feel welcome and appreciated. This is my Go-TO hotel, and pretty much the only one I can recommend around the airport.

Check the pool is open before booking. I booked this property based on the images of the pool (rather than somewhere cheaper) but when I arrived I was told the pool was closed for refurbishment. Staff lovely and hotel is fine but even after I had informed Expedia of pool closure they are still advertising it with a big image of the pool.

clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. Everything was great at this hotel. The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. Would definitely stay there again.

Malfunctioning room A/C denied by management

The hotel in most respects is good apart from one issue which ruined our stay. We checked in early costing 50% pre-agreed additional charge although was not permitted entry until 0900 (eventually 0800 by request). We ventured out quickly, returning to the hotel at about 1330. The A/C did not work. I reported it and an engineer checked it out in room and said it will now work. After several hours it was clear that it was not working correctly, another visit by the engineer who said it was working OK. We suffered a sleepless night with the A/C not dropping below 23C. The next day (19 November 23) I insisted that it was still not working and eventually late afternoon we were visited by another technician who confirmed that the A/C was faulty, hence not adjusting to the set temperature but that now it was fixed. On checking out I requested a discount for the sleepless previous night. I was offered 10%, eventually grudgingly increased to about US$20 and a sincere apology for the malfunctioning A/C on our first night which was sleepless through the heat in the room (23c) and when the failure was persistently reported and a fault denied until the engineer owned up the next day. Shame on you Hilton !

Very clean, conveniently located close to JKIA. Staff is very friendly,skillful, helpful and kind. Their breakfast spread is amazing. They have a gym and also swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Some disappointments

Booked a room for my mum for an overnight stay. Her room was changed without notice because “it was too big”. This was a huge disappointment because the booked room was fully paid. The sink in the bathroom was not functioning well. It was clogged up. One positive thing is she enjoyed her breakfast.

Everybody here was so welcoming.

Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Also, the staff were very pleasant and courteous. It's a nice place that's close to the airport and located in a good location.

Good option for an airport day stay

We just needed a hotel for a full day wait between arriving from Zanzibar and departing for Europe. This was the ideal option. We paid the full night rate, but the hotel gave us early check in. We rested, had a good buffet lunch, had a swim and a shower before heading back to the airport for our 2315 departure. The shuttle was efficient but you needed to book.

Hotel was perfect for a short layover, convenient airport transfers, large breakfast buffet, welcoming staff, comfortable beds.

Great transit hotel

Hotel shuttle was waiting for us at the airport at 11:30pm. Check in was fast & easy. The room was clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. All staff super friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and pay for the breakfast. About $19 USD and so worth it.

We were notified by the staff that they would not recommend to walk outside as the area is not safe.
