Nice, clean hotel with a wonderful hot breakfast daily.

Place is clean and smells good, breakfast is good too.

Walkable to Yankee Stadium. Two subway stations nearby to get you to Times Square or Battery Park. Very helpful staff for questions about subways. Hot buffet breakfast. Neighborhood is unique-Bronx, but felt safe to walk thru during day, early evening. Would stay again to go to baseball game.

Close to train and bus stations.

The rooms are clean , people from the front desk they are very friendly!

Staff was outstanding with help-area outside was somewhat dirty but to be expected. all in all, a great stay and would stay there again!

Awful customer service

Had a wonderful time! All the staff were so friendly and helpful, room was nice, breakfast was plentiful and tasty! Lots of options for food and such around, and >10 minute walk to the subway to get into Manhattan. Only caveat is that if you need to get the B/D train, it’s a walk up a hill - I had no issue, but less mobile members of my party struggled a little, so maybe something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Overall I had a blast, and would absolutely stay again

Loved the place third time I’ve used them. Parking did go up to $30 per day from $20 last year.

Our hotel room was extremely hot and the air conditioning system was so loud. It felt like the room was shaking. Otherwise great people and staff and good breakfast. Close walk to the subway.

Fabulous place to stay if u want a real taste of NYC. The Bronx is sketchy but you’re right next to 167st subway station so everything is easy to get to. The people that work here are very nice and extremely accommodating, the door locks every night and there is always someone working so it feels very safe! Just a good location will definitely stay here again!

This place is wonderful with great staff, kind cleaning crews and great breakfast. The area around is sketchy, but it’s a quick 5 min walk to the Subway. It’s convenient to park ($30 a day) and then Convenient to get down to Manhattan via Subway. We stayed for 3 days and would stay again.

Joel, who works at the concierge desk was very helpful and made one feel very welcomed.

I liked the attention of the staff, the place was very clean and the breakfast was very good.

It was loud in the hallway, breakfast and dining area was not great. Cramped space, bad area, etc.

From checking in the room everything was amaxing

I really like specially who has small budget.Near to metro station and breakfasts are delicious for this price and hotel rooms are so quiet and people are so kind specially stuff.

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 7 days with my girlfriend and it’s extremely clean and it is walking distance to the subway. The breakfast was simple but filling. I would definitely recommend staying here, the staff is friendly and there are local markets around incase you need to do shopping, the area isn’t the best but never felt unsafe. 8.7/10

Very clean. Very good breakfast including bacon and eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit and more. Close to express subway into Manhattan. A bit noisy with traffic etc outside in the AM. There is a gym but it is limited.

Good stay at a great value

This is a good hotel and very well priced for NYC, area is obviously in the Brox, but super close to the 4 line which is a quick ride into Manhattan.

The hotel met and surpassed all expectations. Very clean, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. Its 5mins away from the metro making it a good option for those travelers willing to use public transportation. The area didnt feel unsafe even though its in the south bronx area.

We plan on staying here again. Highly recommend people look at the reviews-they are very accurate. Friendly staff, clean large rooms, good breakfast, great price. Easy access to subway, Times Square is roughly a 20 minute subway ride and easy to navigate. Half the price of Times Square hotels, BUT probably not the case when the Yankees are playing at home because it's one subway stop away. I love there is no carpet- the floor was very clean. Hotel carpets are very dirty, no matter how much they clean them! The neighborhood isn't 100% safe, but if you go where you need to go, don't wander around without a purpose and it will be fine. Never worried about the location, and the subway is a 5 minute walk. Looking at our calender to see when we can come back for another visit.

Easy stay

Just a quick trip to see my son. Bed was comfortable, shower was excellent and breakfast was hot and good.

This hotel was a lot better then i expected. The only complaint i really have is that our shower wouldn't work but we only stayed one night so didn't bother to ask about it. Other than that it was a great stay. The area wasn't bad at all, normal inner city activity. Subway was a 5 minute walk, very convenient. We went out around 9pm to take subway into city and we felt safe.

Good breakfast and convenient transportation

The hotel was nice. The breakfast had lots of options but not the greatest quality. The cooks were more concerned with their cellphones than their jobs. The room was clean and comfortable. The noise from the traffic outside was loud all night long. The area around the hotel is very dirty with lots of sketchy people hanging around smoking pot at all hours.

Great Breakfast and super clean

Very clean! All over the hotel it’s constantly being cleaned. Our room was super clean and comfortable! This hotel offers a very nice breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised. It offers real eggs and meats, real yogurt and honey, in an open kitchen concept. It offers secured parking that you leave and come back as needed for $30 a night.

Amazing find! Would definitely stay here again on future trips to NYC.

Comfy stay close to Subway

Very safe, clean hotel. The area around isn’t the best, but it’s not scary either. Hotel staff was always welcoming and accommodating. Can’t ask for better than free breakfast!

This hotel is good value for your dollar, and though it is out of the way if you are wanting to do things in Manhattan, it is very close to a subway and easy to get to/from activities. The rooms are a bit noisy on the street side, but clean and comfortable (everything you need on a holiday)!

The rooms were larger than I expected. They were clean and looked to be relatively recently updated. The location close to the subway made travel to Manhattan very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but satisfying.

Great value hotel

I am satisfied with almost everything except being too close to train tracks that make loud noise , it's a bit hard to get asleep at night . I am very impressed with their free breakfast with fresh and high quality food.

A good place to stay in the Bronx

I've stayed here several times, and will return in the future. Rooms are a little on the spartan side, but clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is also fairly basic but the food is good - real eggs, etc. Secure parking is usually available for $30/day. The 4 train is just two blocks away, and the B & D just a few blocks further. I've never felt unsafe in the neighborhood.

The heater in the room was so noisy we had to turn it off, which made for an uncomfortable night temperature wise.

Enjoyed the stay....Breakfast was always good, facilities are very clean and kept looking nice. The hotel is in the Bronx, so the area does not present too much in the way of variety/things to do. Area around the hotel is quite run down and dirty. But as long as you are in the hotel surroundings, it is very clean and organized. It does set very close to Yankee Stadium, and is very easy walking distance. We will return during the summer for several days. Had a great time on site for 3 days!

I stayed here for 13 nights, The staff was absolutely wonderful, so kind and accommodating can’t fault it, breakfast was always hot and great, perfectly located near to amenities, it’s only 5 minutes walking to a nearest subway, 20 minutes ride to manhattan, Halal food available on a walking distance, Neighbourhood and the area around seemed fined in my opinion, walked around and did not felt unsafe, I would say one of the best cheap hotel in Bronx, recommended 👍

The bath towels are extremely hard

Stay was just ok. Read lots of reviews on Google about stellar customer service and didn’t experience any of that. Room was spacious, breakfast was decent, that’s the most I can say. Very loud slamming doors, you can hear what’s happening outside as well. Felt run down, not at all like pictures.

My stay was quite pleasant. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. They had everything you could want from pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, hot and cold bagels, coffee, cream cheese, and orange juice and fruits. I was very impressed and they had good hours for breakfast as well.

Overall inside of property clean. Front desk staff lazy and lacking customer service. Outside close to Yankee stadium but dirty, noisy and neighborhood unsafe.

The staff were very helpful! They told us how to get to the subway and what station we needed get off at to go where we wanted to go. They had a great, hot breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes plus oatmeal and bagels/bread. Our room was clean. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

Gem in the Bronx

This was my first trip to NYC and was driven by seeing The Nightmare Before Christmas light show at NYBG. We chose the Highbridge Hotel for its convenience to the event and its reasonable cost. We were blown away by the the friendliness of the staff and how nice the room was for the cost. They also offer paid parking and a solid continental breakfast. I would definitely recommend the Highbridge to anyone needing a nice, short stay in the Bronx.

While the room was pretty okay and the chick inn staff was nice, there were a group of people that remained in the hallway and was loud all night, they blocked the room for ice making me have to go downstairs, they had chairs in the hallway and I could hear them over my tv

Good solid budget option for New York.

Nice comfy room for a very good price for New York standards. Free breakfast is good with pancakes and other offerings. Main downsides, be aware of the area especially at night time, and it can be noisy from the street. If the hotel would invest in some decent sound-proof windows it would be amazing

Hello Loved the updates done to the bathroom’s and rooms. The decor was new and inviting. The facilities felt luxurious to me for a fraction of the price. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet options were delicious. I loved the oatmeal , scrambled eggs, potatoes and hard boiled eggs.

A fair distance from central New York but once we found our way round the transport system was OK. Excellent value for money. Good value for money and overall was well impressed.

Ótimo hotel, com certeza eu iria novamente, todo mundo extremamente atencioso e simpático. O pessoal que cuidava do café da manhã eram muito simpáticos e gente boa, sempre animados e com sorriso no rosto para atender a gente! Quartos limpos e sempre que chegávamos tinha cheiro de limpeza e cama arrumada! Ele é um pouco mais afastado do centro mas não é um problema pois o metro é do lado! Agradeço muito pela estadia maravilhosa que tive com vocês!

Gostamos da hospedagem, do acesso ao metrô, pelo o conforto do quarto. O local do hotel é um pouco longe do burburinho, mas é melhor que ficar em New Jersey, fora que o metrô é muito perto. Bronx é um pouco diferente de Mahathan. No primeiro dia dá um medo, mas depois se acostuma com o local. Fora que o hotel fica perto do estádio dos Yankes e do lado da escadaria do Joker. Recomendo a hospedagem.

really excellent stay at this property. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable and kind. The facilities were spot on. Love the breakfast buffet. The area though till is full of character, I would say. I felt safe. very walkable. local eating establishments close by, and the food is excellent. would stay here again and again. and lots of transportation options. The hotel is 9 to 15 minutes away from LaGuardia. this train stations nearby. bus route nearby. terrific hotel.

My stay was good. I’m just waiting on my $100 security deposit to be returned.
