I stayed in a private room/bath unit. This place is well run, clean and I have no complaints after my 6-day stay. Very civilized group of people staying here. Loved it and will be back.
This hostel hotel is managed well, front desk staff nice and kind. It has a large full equipped kitchen, a large sitting area….onsite restaurant for breakfast and dinner in very reasonable price. Night time is very quiet, guests are friendly as well. Onsite outdoors parking, 8 mins drive to creekside village gondola. We took bus $2.50 pp and leave the car at hotel parking since creekside parking filled up quickly on weekends before 7:30am. Overall, a decent place to stay for Whistler trip. Will come back again!
Don’t Waste your Money
Awful place way too expensive for a pretty miserable offering.
it was quiet, clean, friendly.
Very good
For what it is, a hostel, the place was as expected. The only surprise was the feeling of cleanliness and welcoming from staff
Great location and amenities.
Great location and amenities.
very safe
No water fountain
It has a coffee shop downstairs and is close to the bus stop, less than 100 meters.
Lovely staff and nice rooms.
Stop here The people are great . The room was great .
Reasonable sized room, but bed was very low to the ground and mattress was not comfortable. No air conditioning - just a fan.
Property is very minimalistic to a fault. Mattress is like a pad or futon. Smells somewhat funky. No cancellation policy even for emergencies is not customer oriented and clearly shows they know they don’t have a product people want. It’s a hostel so don’t book if you aren’t a spring chicken.
Mattress was too soft, it took us a while to get some sleep
Staff were very nice
Nice place. Definitely need a car though.
Somewhat impersonal. No food easily obtained nearby. Sense that some were using it as a dorm.
Great hotel in Whistler friendly to your pocket and super easy to access! The staff is helpful and kind, the cafeteria offers several options for breakfast/lunch, the kitchen is well equipped so you can cook your own meals. I stayed in a private room and it was pretty confortable and clean :)
Premium room but couldn’t sleep the whole night. It could have been my 6pm coffee, but it is more likely the thin mattress, the sound from heat pump and the youth activities in the middle of the night.
Good location and clean
Nice environment, close to trial
Prooetty is simple yet clean. No airconditioner but there is an electric fan. No amenities in the bathroom except a liquid soap. Bed is low with thin mattress. It is a hostel so price is affordable but dont expect hotel features.
Place was fine for what I needed & the concept is a good idea
Great
Maybe I should give it a higher rating. I didn't know I was reserving a hostel. Then again, it should have been more clear that it was a hostel.
The hostel was great, the staff friendly and the room clean and tidy. However, the rooms don’t have air conditioning which is an issue in Whistler in the summer.
Check in was quick and friendly; back of property opened up to a lovely park area for sitting and walking; simple accommodations but satisfied our needs
Wasn’t really looking for a hostle as there was nothing in the ad to indicate that this is a hostel, not a hotel. Regardless, the room was clean although the bed was very low which is difficult for us seniors.
Nice location, spacious
The staff was very polite, room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Avoid this hotel!
Beds aren't real beds, they are literally a paper thin cushion on top of two wooden sticks. Impossible to sleep there. Showed up an hour early to check in and i wasn't permitted in my room, the hotel was empty.
Loved my stay here! Would stay again any day.
Terrible hotel Slept at first in my snow suit 14 degrees in the room Had to have a portable heater Took few hours to warm up Quite far from whistler Should refund me
Cleanliness
Great Value and great view. Not far from whistler village. Would recommend and come back here again!
It is so much confortable if you camp, seriously!!
It is so much confortable if you camp. I love the concept of all the Hi canada in diferentes cities but the Whistler one is not confortable at all. How the stays in Whistler are pricey I booked this hostel. They are "non profitable " but for $154 the nigth maybe they can put confortable mattresses and the most annoying part is that my bed was so noisy, the wood craked every time that I moved, it is clean but not confortable. Also could be really nice if they advise people that the only nice thing at the hostel it is close for covid, the pool table was close. I really don't get how covid works there, the kitchen is open but no a pool table, if you are not vaccinated you can't stay there so for me is really not sense that the only thing that you can do it is close because is nothing to do around, the hostel it is located like 10 min driving to Whistler. I do not recomend to stay in this hostel. Nice people in the front desk, no everything is bad.
What a terrible night
The staff was friendly, the room is pretty simple but pretty okay for a night. The night of sleep was a nightmare though, first the fire alarm rang and everyone had to go out. Everywhere was smelling like a toaster including our clothes/hair and everything.. and to complete the hostel is close to a soccer field so kids were screaming around.
Bed was no good.
NO box spring on the bed. Mattress thickness is 2” forms. No goood bed… height was under one feet. Bathroom fan was not working, so air quality was bad.
Excellent accommodation for the price in Whistler.
Very economical and close to Whistler village
Beds were terrible and room was to hot
The biggest booking mistake I ever made. We booked 2 nights in a private room and it was so noisy the staff moved us to another room after they confirmed our complaint. There is no A/C and the entire night it was 27C but outside was only 18C. There is a fan in the room that made a rotating squeaking noise. Opening the window allowed us to confirm that there is a bus going up and down the street 24 hours a day. Then the smoke detector started beeping at 6 am. I opened it up thinking it was a dead battery but there is no battery since it is hardwired. Why? The smoke from the BC fires was triggering it. So close the window. No more bus no more beeping. Do you know that a hostel does not allow any food nor any drink in NO rooms. Not even allowed to boil water to make a coffee. So go down to the 2nd floor to the community kitchen to make your drinks and/or meals. Can you think of a better place to catch Covid? Not one person there was wearing a mask. Plus the staff themselves did NOT wear a mask! Is there anything good about this place? Yes the staff are friendly and helpful. They allowed us to cancel our 2nd night with a refund for 2nd night. My fault. I was naive. I was cheap. Never again in any hostel, lesson learned.
This hotel is nice we can see the view. Its quite short but that’s nice
Good views. Quite good price
Mountain view was spectacular
Budget accommodation located well outside the village. Worked well for me because I came for hiking but if you're here for shopping or bar-hoping it's not a great location.
HI WHISTLER EXPERIENCE
Would certainly stay at the hotel next time round. The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen was big, clean and had all the tools available to cook a meal.
Everything was amazing except at check-in they made us wait for 45minutes.We already travelled for almost 12 hours and then wait for another 45minutes to check-in as CSR at front desk was not at desk
