A great stay
The hotel has a range of different people staying from mainly UK, Germany and others. Whilst some people liked having a lot of drinks, it is also family friendly. There is a really nice concierge/receptionist who helped give me information about the local area. I liked my room and the food options and I got a bargain price for my short stay. I would recommend
Great all inclusive dining options. Lovely staff. 3 minutes walk to the beach. Thank you!
Pretty nice and clean. Great food. Not too much going on in terms of entertainment
Too many football young teams. Noicy untill midnight.
Very satisfied
A very good ratio price quality.
The hotel its self was good but the food was very poor.
Polecam i wrócę tu!
Hotel godny polecenia. Miła obsługa w szczególności barmani ze snack bar i lobby bar. Pokoje czyste i sprzątane codziennie. Jedzenie i napoje dobre i urozmaicone, dostępne w dużej ilości. Miejsce przyjazne dzieciom z placem zabaw, klubikiem oraz splash zone. Ciekawe animacje przez cały dzień. Dobre połączenie z lotniska. Autobus nr 10 za 8 lew.
All inclusive package is 10/10 about food (really tasty, different kinds, no stomack issues but like 2/10 about drinks.... beer nor wine is drinkable.... really not good.... about "coctails" the same... like if want to go there to mainly get drunk and not be KO the next day this is not the place....but food was super :) The only negative was the cold on the room (I complained 2 times to the reception) once even some "technician came" and told that tge next day the heating will be working... I did not, obviously.... on the breakfast you only listened all the people cauging.... the inner pool was quite cold and open only till 19:00, sauna only for extra fee. Beach was like 10min walk, 40min walk to Old Nessebar, bus stop from burgas like 5min walk.... pretty convenient, would like to come again to this hotel :)
Not for us!
This is an all inclusive resort, sadly what comes with this is a very crowded and noisy hotel. Every drink served in a plastic cup, buffet food that is just about edible but not enjoyable, and lots and lots of kids, with drunk adults. Meal times are a frantic fight for food and drinks that disappears bang on the time it closes and you are the e rushed out of the dinning rooms by staff, none of which leads to any kind of relaxing dining experience! Beach you have to pay more for sun lounges and umbrellas and there is no bar or facilities at the beach which is a bit of a walk from the hotel. Positives - the hotel is kept immaculately clean and that includes the rooms. Sadly this is really not our thing so cannot recommend, however if you are someone who wants to eat and drink as much as you physically can while your kids get more and more sugar highs and scream all day then go for it!
Rooms clean, comfortable. The food is very tasty and varied. A large, pleasant dining room. Close to the beach. Nessebar within walking distance.
Great value all inclusive - walking distance to both Nessebar & Central Sunny Beach, but also busses & mini tourist trains available for a few Levs. Very happy entertainment team, all staff were friendly and welcoming. Good selection of food at the buffet and outdoor snack bar. The two a la carte restaurants are of good quality and worth a try. Book a Deluxe room in the main building with a sea view, you won’t be disappointed.
Hotel was very nice right in between main strip sunny beach and old Nesebar. I will definitely be returning.
The air conditioner did not work and they did exchange rooms. They said there’s nothing they can do.
Mixed feelings
This was a long overdue trip to Bulgaria, where I lived for many years and was sort of visiting my past. This venue looked nice and reasonable when I booked, but wasn’t really worth the money I paid for. They have a lot of structural issues such as the AC not working properly or the toilet leaking. There were a few bright spots: Bobby, the bar tender was exceptional, he was personable, kind and very efficient. He could serve 4-5 people in a jiffy, while being really nice. Bulgaria is known for its hospitality. Which unfortunately wasn’t very evident this time, some people explained that people were frustrated due to Covid etc., which is why people like Bobby stand out. They understand that people are there on a vacation and that they deserve your full attention and friendly attitude. The animation team, the brave young people are to be applauded. They may or may not be that funny, but they bring their best face forward and make people smile and relax, what more can you ask for? And then there is the lady in the outside snack bar (didn’t get her name, unfortunately), who is so attentive and kind. One of those people you just know they care.
Not happy with hotels.com
The location was brilliant. The staff where very friendly, nothing was a problem , very welcoming, very helpful throughout had a great laugh with them . There English language with them was Very good. Allways greated with a smile. The rooms where brilliant, cleaned every day, kettle , extra towels etc no problems. The food was a problem. The same selection of salads on every day for lunch and dinner. The hot food was disgraceful. The standard of the hot food buffet was disgusting. The food was cold, constanly even the soup. presatation was rotten. Food not labeled properly, poor selection. There was a chef cooking eggs, hot food daily on the grill he was brilliant, my life line . Even the snack food daily outside food was cold Only the Alexander was open. No other restaurants open so had not choice, the pool side bar was closed. So I was missold a package by you - hotels .com
Nioclai was lovely on reception he greeted me and made my stay I'm going again if they have me for 2 weeks
Great hotel
Helpful staff clean lovely accommodation - great stay - facilities great for children - set away from the main Sunny Beach tourist section so quieter
The property was very nice looking and clean. Both pools clean but very less sunbeds. People were leaving towels to ocupy them at 6am already so no chance to get a place by the pool in the middle of the day. Beach beds available ar extra charge. Food and alcohol pretty tragic. Nobody makes a decent coffee. The staff from the pool nice, the reception barely speaks english, hard to comunicate. Location good, nearby is the bus station, supermarket and all.
This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Rude staff, very basic food ( this is not definitely a 4 * hotel). Never again.
Amazing Vacation!
Our family had a wonderful stay at Club Calimera. We loved the top notch Animation Team! (Thanks Gabi, Alex, Toni, Toni, Petya and other team members!!). We had a spacious room with comfortable beds. We spent most days around the pools and on the hotel’s prIvate portion of the beach. There were plenty of activities nearby. Sound proof windows keep out noise from nearby bars and merrymakers. There was a variety of food to suit everyone’s taste/diet. Hotel staff was friendly and went out of their way to help. WiFi could have been stronger, but there was also a good selection of TV channels. We will definitely return.
The room was excelent , the food , everiting 😊 i love it
Fantastic hotel entertainment team could not be better
They were overall good..............................
Everything was super- the staff, the food and the rooms.I recommended and I will go again.
The only thing was the AC.Didnt really cool your room. Can imagine when the temps get higher in summer might get unbearable.
NICE PLACE TO STAY IN BURGAS!
The rooms are comfortable, cleaning every day. Good towels, nice shower. Safe in rooms. Tv in several channels languages. The staff speak good English and are polite and courteous. This hotel is all included. 5 bars, 1 restaurant serving 3 meals, 1 pizza pasta plaza. Very good SPA, and swimming pool. The beach are 10 minutes walking in the back yard. You need pay 18 Leva in reception, to get access to beach chairs (2) an umbrella and to bar beach access (all free). They have a very good and fanny gang of entertainment. Also, at 9 pm, some show in the first floor. Taxi to or from BOUGAS is 34 euros. There are in front the hotel 2 supermarkets 24 hours open. In front you can take the train to Nesebar or to Sunny Beach downtown. 3 Leva per trip. To exchange money I suggest inside the hotel. They don’t charge commission. Outside pay more, but when they deduct commissions you receive less. One negative point in this hotel, to get a towel to swimming pool or beach, this is open from 8 to 9 am. Many people have breakfast 9:30 and can not get towels. They open again 5 to 6 pm to returning towels. Thank you girls from reception, Stela and Aylin, SPA guys, entertainment people. I WILL COME BACK AND RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYBODY!
Overall ok...
Hotel it’s self was nice, room wasn’t very clean upon arrival, and cleaners came twice during our 7 night stay upon request. One day a guest used their key which opened our door, so we locked everything up from that day on. Entertainment team was very good. Some of the bar staff were very friendly, others not so much... The food was brilliant, a really good selection in the restaurant and at the bar. Found it difficult to get a sunbed every day as people were putting towels on the night time. We started getting up at 6am to ensure we could get a sunbed. Good location to the beach although not part of the all inclusive. However 18 lev for 2 sunbeds, parasol and soft drinks/beer wasn’t too bad. Overall a good stay, very good for families but I don’t think I would go back.
Rooms were big, modern and comfortable. Within a walking distance to Cacao Beach and to the beach in general. The food was good and with a lot of variety. The entertainment team and staff were good. Alcohol needed more variety.
The staff was very helpful, its close to the beach
When we arrives there was some issue but we resolved it and had a wonderfull time, the staff was very helpful, the food was really good, big variety, we had a beautiful view of the sea, the bartendter was very kind and helpful, and the cleaning person who was cleaning aur room was wonderfull, very nice lady.
Great location. Food is ok not much variety. Room doesn't get cleaned daily. Difficult to get towels.
While the entertainment team were very freindly almost every other member of staff , particularly the reception staff were very unfreindly and unhelpful. Hotel for the most part was really nice , food whilst a little repetitive was nice with plenty of choice. Our room was on the 7th floor and was very nice , cleann and quiet.
Lovely hotel, well located
Really lovely hotel with 2 good restaurants, always a good variety of food. Best choice of food we've had in an all inclusive restaurant. The normal hassles of getting a sunbed by the pool and them being reserved all day, but we always got one on the terrace overlooking the pool which had a nice view of the dunes too, so that suited us. Great entertainment team for both children and adults if you want to join in. Close to beach and sand dunes, albeit you had to pay for sunbeds on the beach even though a section belonged to the hotel. You also couldn't get any drinks on the all inclusive beach bar which was disappointing. Nessebar is a lovely resort and the hotel location was excellent. You could get a cheap land train to the old town/harbour or go up to the Sunny Beach resort - both trains stopped within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Our Deluxe room in the hotel was lovely, very clean and spacious and the reception area was really lovely. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
This hotel is everything you want
The pool is in a sunny spot and the beach is at the back of the hotel so you can relax round the pool or lay on the beach the facilities are excellent and the food is plentiful although this is not in the centre of Sunny Beach there is a train running every 15 minutes costing 6 Levs about £3.00 each way
Nice and very pleasant place.I strongly recommend it!Family oriented!
Family Hotel Close to the beach
The Imperial resort hotel itself was a good choice for our 6nights holiday in Bulgaria, Sunny beach. Although it wasn't very clear how to get to the resort from Burgas airport which we arrived at as the hotel did not provide that as a part of package. It was quite busy at the reception upon arrival but the check in was prompt. The double room was great, with a view to sea side from the balcony and two separate beds as requested. In regards to cleanliness, the only issue we had throughout the holiday was a constantly leaking shower cabin which made the floor wet& slippery anytime after taking a shower. The food was ok. Lots of choices for all tastes, different main meals every day as well as grilled meat outside the main hall, although quite bland and missing flavour. Had to keep adding chilli & salt to everything. Loved the ice cream& quite a great choice of fruit for dessert. In regards to drinks, the ones from machine were really watery, the beer tasted as if it was diluted, as well as the wine. The thing that was quite upsetting was guests 'privatisation' of sunbeds near the outside pool. Not once there was a free one, even though the person that left their belongings such as beach towels or clothes was not present anytime we'd check. Hovewer, perfect access to the beach and sea, literally less than 5mins walk from the hotel. Guests can rent a beach bed and an umbrella for 15lv a day which is a fair price. There's a beach bar as well, serving soft drinks and beer.
Bad food very bad
Lovely hotel good location
We have just returned from the imperial and a very enjoyable weeks stay The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent The hotel is in a very good location with the beach within walking distance The tram stops outside the front door and will bring you to the town centre or nearby Nessebar for 3lev Would certainly return again
prefer miss it out
I would never go back.....no wifi in the room, 10 leva per one device????? It was ridiculous.....nothing worked how we would have liked.....The room was not the same we booked, the food....khm, we had diarrhea the whole week we stayed there so the last 2 days we went out for dinner. Nessebar is beautiful anyhow, but the the hotel's price is far too high for this quality unfortunately.
Great food
I really enjoyed the food. Was in there for the second year in a row, and I couldn't see any improvements. Not enough sunbeds both at the pool area and private beach. Good animation.
Almsot everthing ok. only the dishes and glasses was dirty. lipstick from other users who was drinking before me . and the disges was greassy.
Outside there were no plastic tables or chairs where to sit near the pool, the surounding place wasnt as neat as they could make it look more prittier. The food was really good , i was happy with the rooms that we were attending. Also there wasnt enough of choices of alcohol for 4 start hotel, but the staff was helpfull and really nice. For kids, there was not alot activities for little children like more animations would be better.
hotel imperial
great time....
Poor food and drinks
The hotel was very nice and clean however the food selection mainly catered for their Russian guests resulting in having to eat out at almost every meal. The hotel is situated at the very end of the Sunny Beach resort with very little to do in the local area, which means a good 15 to 20 minute walk to the main resort. The drinks available via the all inclusive package where very limited and you were unable to get even a soft drink before 11:00 am poolside. A lot of the facilities that were available at the hotel were not included in the all inclusive package such as use of the gym and cocktail bar etc. There was also an issue with the use of sun beds poolside guest would leave their towels on the beds for days at a time and not even use the beds at all resulting being unable to get a bed when we complained we were just told to remove the other guests towels and give them into reception which was not very professional.
Ok
Stayed for 10 days, nice friendly staff speaking few languages, food was ok apart from pizza with meat after one slice I was sick for 2 days. If your child is fussy vegetarian then.... not much choice. Unfortunately you have to pay for umbrella and sun beds on the beach. Sea warm. Good location plenty shops, small train will take you to Nessebar or town centre, free bus to water park. Place good for families or people who like a bit quiet place. You can haggling in each shop.
amazing staff
excellent location, close to beach, walking distance to nesebaer and all the best beach bars, very clean rooms and very welcoming staff. great hotel director! a lot pf food variety on the buffet
In the most beautiful area!
Imperial hotel is located in the best area on Sunny Beach. Close to the beach and far from the noise. The food was excellent with constant refill and there is free wifi in the lobby. My mom liked the sports activities she was doing everyday aerobics on the pool. The staff was nice. I would go there again!
It was a good stay!!!
It was pleasant!
Family hotel
I went on holiday with some lads and did not feel welcome in the hotel because we were young and getting drunk each night, sunglasses got stolen from my room and the food was pretty terrible, however the massage was out of this world
