Enjoyed our stay

Hotel was very nice! We really like the location. Not too touristy and an easy walk to some very nice restaurants. The only issue we had is the floor seem kind of dirty. Found previous occupant’s medication on the floor as well as a lot of other stuff. Otherwise it was very clean

Clean and centric hotel

I just finished a great five day stay at the HF Fenix Urban. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable, perfectly equipped and impeccably maintained. As a former Hilton General manager, I was very impressed with the entire operation of this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

The air conditioner didn’t work as we’d have liked to. It allowed us to set the temperature as low as 18 degrees, but the temperature never went below 21 degrees. The maintenance team came to check with a temperature gun pointing at the air blowing from the vent which was at a lower temperature but the room never cooled down. The room is small, building is clean, staff is friendly. There’s a long line up always outside the hotel as there’s an immigration office (I believe) next door.

There is a huge construction going on. During my booking did not stated. Also was given a room right next to the elevator and construction wall.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was fantastic. The rooms were spotless and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat. Its location is superb, with easy access to public transportation, including a train station just three blocks away. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

I stayed in portugal total of two weeks and stayed in 5 different hotels throughout the country during my visit, but this hotel's staff were not professional. I had the rudest greeding once i arrived the hotel. I also dont understand how this hotel has 4 stars... I mean they are clean but old and dont have much to offer as 4 star.

Great stay in Lisbon

Very comfortable stay in Lisbon celebrating a special occasion. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Very good location for the metro and local buses, plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby. The room was a good size and comfortable bed. All very clean. Thank you for the warm welcome to Lisbon.

The room was very spacious and the bathroom as well. Very clean and friendly staff. The area had many food options near by and close to the train station. Definitely enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel - while not located in the city centre or historic district, it is very well situated in terms of public transit with both Metro and bus stops very close. Great room, very comfortable, fantastic breakfast - GET the breakfast option, definitley worth it!!

This is a solid 3-star hotel (not a 4-star hotel). The location was good, with a bus from the airport that dropped you off a few blocks from the hotel. To keep my energy footprint low, I asked for the sheets and towels to be changed once during my 5-day stay. My feet get hot, and I take my socks off in the middle of the night. The socks were still in the bed after housekeeping visited. I suspect they did not change the sheets. It makes me wonder if the towels were changed or just shaken out and rehung.

Good room and good service

Overall a pretty good hotel. Room and bathroom were clean and a decent size. The service was good too. There was construction going on near the car parking lot entrance, so the reception asked me to park at a nearby public parking lot which was actually cheaper (€10 for 24 hours). It’s called “Estacionamento Maria Cristina” and is very close to the hotel.

Good hotel in a central location. The reception staff were particularly friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome. Only negative was the breakfast. The hot items were almost always cold, or at best like warm, they really need to improve on that element.

Great Stay!

Check in was a breeze with the informative and patient reception. Answered all my questions and provided extra information! Rooms were spotless with the Urban vibe on the balcony. Would come back!

1- The AC in the room was not cooling and was not able to move the temperature below 25C. It was inadequate. 2- The breakfast staff were working fast and efficient but were very unfriendly, rude and unhappy looking. They were showing their hate to all guests. This is terrible in hospitality business.

Perfect Lisbon hotel

This was a perfect hotel! The guys at reception were friendly, efficient, helpful & even fun. The hotel is impeccably clean. The location is great - a couple of neighborhood street cafes 5 minutes away, pharmacy is just around the corner, bus stops across the street, the beautiful, famous Avenida Liberdade is an easy 20 minute stroll. I stayed here twice in 10 days... a 3 day weekend & 1 night before departing Lisbon. Use Uber!!

Nice, impeccably clean, convenient to downtown

Check-in was efficient and pleasant; all of the staff have been wonderful. I didn't have breakfast but saw that it was abundant & looked delicious. It's a 30 minute walk to the middle of Lisbon; has all sorts of restaurants, coffee shops & sidewalk cafe/restaurants nearby. I was here was 3 nights & just rebooked it for the night before I leave Portugal.

Great hotel, located in a very quiet area but with easy and fast access to the old town by Metro or a pleasant walk.

Our check in was at 2pm but allowed us to check in at 12. The receptionist was very friendly and the staff we encountered were all very helpful. The location was great as it was close to a metro station and bus stations. Lots of shops and a beautiful park nearby. There was a variety of food to eat for breakfast although some were cold. But overall breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Always Satisfied!

This was the 4th time this year that I have stayed at the Fenix Urban. The check in is always quick and almost always great at being able to check in a bit early. The hotel is spotless and the rooms well arranged an comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and there is a reason why I constantly return.

A Nice Place To Stay in Lisbon

This was the 7th time I have stayed at the Fenix Urban. They always help me with an early check in and are always helpful. They have a fantastic breakfast too with a wonderful hostess who I think is Maria. The breakfast room is kept impeccably clean and the tables cleared as soon as one leaves the table. The guest rooms are well laid out with a nice washroom and good amenities. There is a reason why I love returning to this hotel. The check in is fast and the staff curtious.

Great accommodations, good location, and friendly staff.

We had a really nice stay at HF Fenix Urban. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and had ample space for my boyfriend and I. Conveniently located, train station and buses 3 blocks away, grocery store about 7 minute walk, only about 20 mins from the airport.

This was a very clean and nice hotel with friendly staff. It was also in a good location to catch transit and tour busses. Was a great base for our week in Lisbon.

The hotel was very well kept, great rooms and breakfast was lovely. Staff were informative also.

What really stands out, is its staff. Every single one is friendly, extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. My husband and I had a fabulous stay and really appreciate the way they looked after us celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We observed and saw that they treat all their guests as special. Being close to the Metro Parque and good buses makes this a great starting point for exploring Lisbon. The breakfast is very good and varied and you never feel rushed. We can fully recommend this property.

The staff were kind and attentive and the location was terrific. It was central and w/in easy walking distance to many places of interest and had easy access to the metro/buses. Their extensive breakfast buffet options was impressive - and delicious! Never had lunch-‘cause bkfst was so filling! Truly, amongst the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever been exposed to/gotten to enjoy. While my husband may have liked more “ lounging” space in the room, he was quick to admit that had it had that, we’d not have spent as much time exploring the beautiful country of Lisbon & finding cool/quaint spots to chillax at when we needed that down time. Would highly recommend! Thank you for all!

Great modern hotel for Lisbon stay.

Wonderful modern hotel - huge room with work area and large private bathroom. Hotel has a great buffet breakfast with lots of choices available . The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport and is an easy walk to many of Lisbon's attractions (30 min walk to Bario Alto). Staff was friendly and helpful - though the airport shuttle did not show up for us. We really liked this hotel as a base in Lisbon. I would stay here when in Lisbon for business as well.

The reception ladies were very helpful. however we had to wait to get into our room for a very long time, even after we had requested a noon arrival, we did not get into our room until 4:30. There are unfortuneatly not enough housekeeping staff.The reception people are getting all the angry people arriving and no rooms are ready. There were many waiting in the lobby. Wonderful service

The front of house team are an absolute credit to this hotel. The male and female receptionists who greeted us upon our arrival, at lunchtime on 25th March were cheerful, polite, professional and spent time giving us some excellent recommendations. They were good humoured and a great representation of the hotel. Our room, although fairly basic, was large and comfortable. Our TV had very poor signal but this didn’t impact our stay as the WiFi was good and we weren’t in our room for long periods anyway. The hotel is within easy reach of Parque Metro station. Breakfast was well varied and had nice touches such as Bloody Mary ingredients and sparkling wine included. The hostess at breakfast was also very pleasant indeed. A great stay, we’d love to come back.

Great hotel but no gym.

very friendly staff. Area was convenient but not as central as the other HF Fenix locations. Our room was very small, but the bathroom was really large...almost as large as the rest of the room. The wifi in our room was very weak/non existant.

A nice return to an excellent hotel.

I just returned from a 3 night stay in the Hotel Fenix Urban. In my estimation this is the best of the Fenix hotels. I have stayed in just about all of them. They have done an incredible job of hiring friendly and attentive people. There is a relaxed yet efficient vibe to the hotel. My check in was seamless and quick and when I asked for a Queen bed room there was no issue of helping me with this upgrade. The housekeeping staff is incredible! It has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have every stayed in. Our room was so well attended too every day with respect for our things and where we had them. Another part of my 5 star rating was the breakfast. I would be very surprised if it wasn`t rated one of the best in Lisbon. There is a large selection of hot and cold offerings, including different cheeses, sliced meats, excellent breads and sweets, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. and a great fresh fruit section. Marianne, the hostess was amazing! She moved around the room giving suggestions for sightseeing and other tips and always with a smile. The staff kept the tables cleared of dirty dishes and the buffet was constantly being restocked. This was my 3rd stay in the hotel and incredibly they always keep their quality level the same which is excellent!

It was convenient, priced right,even the twin economy room was spacious. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the desk, bar and breakfast room.

We loved our stay. The hotel had a great breakfast. The shower and bed were great. It is really close to the metro that you can take to town easily.
