Convenient location, nice room and helpful staff. Food is pretty good with gluten free options!

Great size room for a one night stay. Affordable price. Very comfertable bed.

Unfortunately booked through Expedia but once arrived had to call and was told they are not open. They had a room unlocked so were told to use that room

Quiet, clean and convenient. Have stayed here a few times now. And will happily stay here again. Great meals at the adjoining pub.

I liked that you can sleep away the the kids and that it was very quiet and even very homey I will give the place 10/10

Clean & comfortable & well priced

We rang and checked our booking the day before we were to go to the Heyfield hotel, after waiting on the phone for our booking to be confirmed, they told us our room had been double booked and we had missed out, the place was booked out !!!!. We had reserved it two months ago but they still hadn't let us know!!! Talk about there was no room at the inn! And it's not even Christmas.

The room was perfect and reasonably priced. only complaint we had was the party outside our window for an hour and a half from 1am to 2.30 am

Great little pub. Awesome verandah space for leisurely afternoon catch ups with friends.

Alot of customers at the pub with loud music when we arrived back at 10.30pm, luckily didn't hear a thing in our room, huge room electric blanket hot strong shower and close to all amenities, definitely recommend staying here...5 stars!!!

Spacious and clean

Very quiet location. Clean and neat. Friendly staff. Have heard good is great but unfortunately did not get to try as I attended a wedding nearby. Value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Big rooms and great bathroom. Outdoor area with table and bench seats. Facilities for organising your own meals plates, cutlery etc. Will stay again.

Rooms are very spacious and modern and heating works well. I really like the extended benches, especially in the bathroom - we had plenty of room to put our things. I liked the non-slip floors in the bathroom. It is a very comfortable motel and good value.

We selected to stay here due to the late check-in option, which was great for us travelling after work. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole operation. The staff were very friendly, the bar and hotel area were well looked after and nicer than they appeared from pictures. Great access to the surrounding area and beautiful views from the town.

fabulous little hotel rooms behind the pub, rooms are very quiet (double glazed windows and well sealed doors). rooms are quite large and spacious, the bed was a little on the hard side for my personal preference but was otherwise clean and perfectly fine. bathroom was a good size, water pressure was great, aircon and fridge both worked well. we had an excellent stay, and the food from the pub was fantastic too as was the hospitality extended to us by the staff on an extremely busy weekend. if we're ever in the area again we'll happily stay at the railway hotel again

Very basic but incredibly clean and staff were lovely.

Was charged $10 more than wotif price upon checkin. Bathroom floors were soaking wet, almost slipped over. Room clean, bed comfortable. Staff were too busy for customer service/care. Overall ok stay.

Great pub! Friendly staff, food was delicious and well priced! 2 minutes from the lake and lots of other things to see and do around the area if you’re willing to travel around an hour to tarra Bulga national park and walhalla

A pleasant surprise

Wasn't expecting this kind of accommodation in a small town pub. Really nice, spacious, clean and new. The pub has great staff, food and of course really cold beer. Will definitely return if ever back that way.
