We had a verybgood experience at Hera Cave and Suites. First time visitong Cappadocia so was bot sure what to expect of a cave hotel. But this one did exceed expectations. A very large room with cave like experience but with all the amenities. Staff was very nice, helpful and courtous. A huge shout out to Asiye on the front desk who helped us with our tour bookings and also helped us rebook a flight as we hit a snowstorm and our flight got canceled.

Hotel was perfect location and staff were fantastic. We had a great weekend, can’t wait to visit again..

Amazing property built into a cave. Volcan, the manager took care of us with scheduling of our afternoon safari trip and everything else we needed. Location was excellent that it’s not too close to the business establishments but walkable to them as well.

Amazing, luxurious, cave hotel. Lovely bathroom with double jacuzzi. Excellent choice at breakfast. Crazy circular bed. Beautiful terrace - great for watching hot air balloons at sunrise.

The area was good and the breakfast was okay. The room was musty with no bathroom ventalation. Black mold surrounded the shower doors on the lower walls. Glass doors you could no longer see through due to gross build up on them. Tried a bath in the pretty claw foot tub.... the plunbing in the wall was broken and it flooded the floor. The rooms are much darker inside than they appear in the pictures. Too bad because this place has promise. Because of the black mold and serious musty smell i would not recommend this hotel for people with breathing issues. I wish I could attach pictures!!!

Wonderful stay in Göreme. Fantastic helpful staff who organised excursions . Great breakfast with fresh cooked Turkish pancakes on our last morning and delicious local peaches fruit and nuts. Highly recommend

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is well situated closed to restaurants and shops. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Staff was excellent and attentive. Property is cute and in a good are. Near to town, night life and restaurants. It’s walkable everywhere. Just needs some renovations and upgrades to the rooms.

Fantastic place to stay. The rooms are amazing and the whole hotel has been thought out and planned very well with all the decor and amenities. Convenient parking outside, great views, extremely friendly staff, comfortable room, just a great place to stay and explore the whole region. Definitely planning on visiting again!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was a bit of an issue as the hotel only offered delivery from 3 restuarants and room service dining was was very limited and not great. As location was convenient it was better to walk into town for meals. Beautiful view of the balloons at sunrise.

Great property, the rooftop is nice, designed for instagrammers but you can actually have a good time there and bring your own drinks, shisha. One grip I have is that during breakfast they need to upgrade their extractor fan, when you come out of breakfast you end up smelling like you have been cooking in a dungeon for hours - nothing major just a small consideration not that pleasant. Over all the property is great, great service, great staff, friendly, warm and awesome feel with caves and stone.

I understand that weather condition was little windy and no balloons, however the rooftop wasn’t set up properly and empty, dirty as per picture. Because of late check in,we requested for late check out, but they give only 30 min( hotel was empty ). Reality wasn’t the same as on pictures.

Expensive, they charging too much for third person bed , they scam people for tours. breakfast are very poor.

Pros: Exceptional Staff: The staff is extremely hospitable, going above and beyond to assist and enhance your stay. Ideal Location: Perfect for exploring Goreme, it’s within walking distance to the city center yet remains quiet at night. Unique Decor: Rooms feature charming themed decorations. Cons: Dim and Small Rooms: Our Cave Suite was quite dark and compact. We also experienced dust falling from the stucco ceiling whenever guests upstairs moved around. Unmaintained Terrace: The advertised terrace with cushions for viewing balloons and taking pictures was disappointing. The platform with cushions, as advertised, did not exist. The cushions were neglected, stacked under a shed, and very dirty.

Our stay was excellent.

Friendly staff, perfect location away from noise but extremely walkable to great restaurants and local shops. The staff arranged for all of our tours and handled all communications timely and effectively. English and Spanish spoken fluently by most staff members.

We had an excellent stay at the Hera cave hotel! The hotel is beautiful and is at a very convenient location from where city center is 5 mins walking. All the staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly and entertained all our requests!!

No Need To Look ANY FURTHER! You found the perfect hotel in Cappadocia ! Stay in a Cave room, views of balloons from the Terrace, walk to dinning and excellent service coordination from Hera Team to help with all tours. It was a perfect experience and highly recommend this hotel!

Worst experience ever!

Rooms are nice, staff is very cooperative, breakfast was excellent.

No good location and poor maintenance.

Great place to stay. Not enough light inside the suite to get ready if you are going out to dinner or want to trim your beard. The hotel shuttle service is also extremely expensive. We recommend renting a car and not relying on the hotel for taxi/shuttle service

We loved our stay at Hera Cave Suites. We had 3 rooms, one on the ground floor great for those tired after a long day of hiking. The upper floors offered beautiful views. The breakfast was wonderful. Our tours and hiking were convenient from the hotel and many marvelous dining options within a 10 minute walk.

The hotel is lovely with lots of areas to sit outside and relax. The location is perfect and walkable to central Goreme and all the restaurants without having to deal with steep roads. Staff is kind and helpful. We booked a sunset ATV tour with the hotel for a fair price and hotel pickup was included which was great! The only thing I would let future visitors know is that if you book a shuttle transfer with them to/from airport, they will say you can only pay the driver in Euros however we saw them all take Turkish Liras which could have saved us some money since it cost us more converting CAD to EUR vs TL.

I got a complimentary upgrade which started out an amazing stay at Hera Cave. The King suite is huge and has great outdoor space. The common areas have great views of Goreme. Fatih made our stay really special and would make us a bonfire and generally went above and beyond during our stay. The rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a very walkable location. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cave hotel! Bathroom is immense- like having your own hamam. Staff is friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with many options. You can see the balloons taking off in the morning from the hotel.

What a wonderful place! The staff was very kind and accommodating! The rooms were exquisite and the exterior of the hotel is magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed Cappadocia and the staff helped us book most of our activities! They even provided us an early breakfast since we had an early flight to catch! Amazing!

I loved this hotel. I travel around the world once a month for pleasure. Hera Caves Suites was a very unique experience and quite luxurious. I especially loved the heated floors in the bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel!!

My teens and I had a great stay at the Hera cave suites. We had some bad experiences coming from Istanbul and were very glad to have arrived at the Hera. Alper at the front desk was super efficient , helpful and proactive. He gave us very good advise on dining, transportation and tour packages and was ever helpful. Nilufer at front desk was lovely, kind and always smiling! A shout- out too to the friendly front desk/ bellboy Fateh- he knew we were tired upon arrival and offered to take us to a restaurant we chose via a short cut. He always stops to chat a bit when he see him. All in , the staff at Hera made our cappadocia trip a great experience. Thank you !!

We had an excellent stay at Hera Cave Suites. Vulcan at the front desk was particularly very helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean. Bed comfortable. Very nice experience in a cave hotel. The staff in the breakfast room were also very polite.

Gorgeous viewed (internally and externally) Location is perfect for town. Walk to everything, including hike through valley (worth doing forsure) Bed is comfortable and the amenities are perfectly laid out and spacious

Was a nice stay in a very unique cave room. The breakfast was okay (they really need to ditch the instant coffee for a fresh grind machine). The staff are very helpful and made sure that any concerns were addressed quickly. We would stay here again.

The front desk is very helpful and kind, we arrived 4am and were allowed to check in without extra charge. The breakfast are Turkish style, the omelette is not greasy like in US.

All staff we met there , super friendly and helpful . Property is very clean and beautiful. We highly recommend this place .

It's a lovely hotel in the heart of Goreme. Staff was very helpful except for the room upgrade. Even though the hotel was half empty we were denied an upgrade as a VIP expedia member. Something they can look into. Other than that everything was A , breakfast was wonderful and the location is absolutely amazing. We'll definitely stay again here.

Dreamy hotel in magical Cappadocia.

What a lovely hotel in an amazing location. Price was reasonable for such an upscale hotel. We had the deluxe suite and it really lived up to our standards. Huge room, comfortable bedding, double jacuzzi, amazing views as balloons fly overhead and visible from the terrace. The front desk staff were beyond accommodating and helpful. Totally recommend this hotel!

It is not your luxury hotel. It is a very basic, cave like rooms. Breakfast needs improvement & so does their reception desk.

The staff Alper, Valkan and Strom are very nice and accommodating. The ladies from the breakfast room are wonderful also, I just couldn’t remember their names. Great terrace for taking photos of the hot air balloons

Fantastic stay!!

I thourghly enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and clean. The views of the balloons are incredible. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They have amazing props if you want pictures of the balloons during the morning. The food was amazing. They were able to help me with tours and transportation to the airport. I highly recommend!!!

You must stay here

Room was awesome, very much as advertised. Staff are also very helpful, taking care of everything, from tours, taxis and anything you need during your stay. Our rom was very large, partially built into a cave like area, with an authentic bathroom for bathing Turkish style. I give it 2 thumbs up. Balloon ride also come right over the hotel

Amazing hotel and staff. The views from this hotel were breathtaking with the rooftop view of the morning balloons. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, they made fresh omelettes of your request and many other great breakfast options.

Our experience at the property was ok We noticed debris on the bed from the ceiling couple of times. House keeper keeps shutting A/C off and leaving window open everyday and it was very hot. So it wasn’t a pleasant experience to walk in the boiling hot room. Breakfast was just ok. Not many options or variety. Breakfast staff was not friendly at all. Had to ask 3 times to re cook the omelette but they kept bringing it raw from inside. I ended up not eating that raw omelette. Staff definitely need some serious training.

It was a wonderful stay in terms of cleanliness, customer service, location and experience. Love all of it. Will come again!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the room was spacious and decorated so well. The rooftop was beautiful and I loved how they had seating areas everywhere around the hotel. The only downfall was the breakfast. The hot food was cold and there wasn’t much variety. The staff in the restaurant aren’t very friendly either, they don’t seat you or talk to you.. Given that the hotel is absolutely amazing, the breakfast was a let down but besides that I can’t fault it at all. The rest of the staff were lovely, very welcoming. I do recommend this hotel. It truly is beautiful and I would like to return some day.

We stayed 3 nights in the family cave suite. The location of the property relative to all the attractions in Cappadocia is second to none. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are unique in character (since you are in a cave ), very functional and comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the place is just great.the staff can arrange any activities for you in the area. We did both the north and south tours and loved both of them. Overall, I highly recommend the place.

Our family of 4 had an excellent stay in suite #301. A cave hotel is a unique experience and the staff made it special with the service. They helped us with tours, airport transfers and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was really good with a lot to choose from even for vegetarians. Rooms were very clean and good water pressure in the shower. Highly recommended!

Amazing room, amazing breakfast, amazing staff. They coordinated all my reservations without any issues and they directed me where all to go.

Very friendly staff. The evening front desk attendant went above and beyond. when I called and asked him to please verify our morning pick up for our balloon flight he was told that the company we had booked with forgot about us. Without even let us know he made all the necessary arrangements with a different company for our next morning balloon flight that was amazing. I did not even know about this till the next afternoon. Thank you so much it made our trip. 5 star and above.

I wish I would've stayed here and in Kapadokya longer in general. This hotel is was so perfect. I was accommodated in a room on the 4th floor and I was so happy. Had such a beautiful view of the caves. Breakfast was on point. The rooms were super clean and it was the REAL cave experience. Loved the shower. Loved the roof patio. The entire hotel is beautiful inside/out and they have hangout areas all over the hotel which is nice and relaxing. All hotel staff are super helpful and attentive from the moment you check-in to check-out. Thank you all! I cannot wait to return!

Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

It take about 5 min walk from the bus stop area. The environment is really quiet. And many restaurants are nearby

The only thing I would change is to have a mattress pad on the bed mattress. The sheets were old and without a mattress pad, it was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the blankets were not long enough to fit such a large bed. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful.
