Two night solo adventure

Excellent stay. The check in and check out processes were easy and as they were remote the communication came in a timely manner. The self contained unit was well appointed and immaculately clean. Comfortable and cosy. Suited to solo or couple travel. Quiet, easy to navigate and a welcome sight after exploring the area during the day. A lovely place to relax, unwind and recharge.

Peaceful

Absolutely gorgeous property and room. Super quiet, exceptionally clean and well equiped kitchen. Could not fault this accommodation and we look forward to returning again soon. Wonderful 3 day stay in this lovely region.

Good for weekend breakaway

Location was about 4 KM away from Daylesford. Not user friendly for seniors old folks with luggage or wheel chairs Good for younger couples Jacuzzi was nice and the chalet was well decorated Nice touch was the free Netflix

5 star luxury

I had a 2 night stay for my birthday & it was the best way to spend it. The room was spacious, clean & felt so luxurious. Staff were super lovely. I cant wait to come back.

Amazing place, the only little flaw is that there is no power outlet near the bed. I have to leave my phone in the kitchen for charging.

We loved everything about our stay, our Accomodation was amazing, we didn’t want to go home! Feeding the Magpies and seeing the big male Kangaroo from our balcony was fantastic! We will definitely stay there again, Thank You.

Serenity and room was wonderful

The property was just right for a little getaway. The spa was very spacious. Had all the amenities we needed. Even got a view of a kangaroo outside our room one evening.

No milk for coffee, no discount for the broken dishwasher. Beautiful room, fireplace warms up nicely, bed comfy, bathroom pretty amazing with all glass walls, nice quiet setting, nice views on balcony, narrow parking, receptionist welcoming, would stay again.

Relaxing ambience.

Trash. Not a "5-star".

As I opened the door to the unit, I was hit with the pungent smell of cheap freshener. We had checked in late. We did not want to spend the late hours of the cold night "airing out" the unit. The bathroom has completely see-through glass walls, and a glass door. There is a curtain that is supposed to conceal you while you are in the bathroom. However, this curtain is semi-transparent. So your companion will always be able to see you taking a dump. The bed was only a double. I expected at least a Queen size for the price that I was paying per night. As I lay trying to fall asleep on the hard little bed, I wondered what the mystery green light above my bed. It turned out to b the smoke alarm. I did not sleep very well on the first night. On the second night, I sticky taped paper over the smoke alarm light. It dimmed most of it's green light. I sleep well because of the accumulated fatigue from the previous night. The unit is self contained. The kitchen supplies were not "5-star". For example, the dish washing liquid was a "multi-use" cleaning product. It had instructions for both cleaning dishes and cleaning the floor. They provided a scrap of the cheapest bath salts in the bathroom. So bring your own - if you dare book this place. I paid $413.67 per night for this trash. It's not a "5-star" as it claims. I feel ripped off. 2 or 3 star might be more accurate. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! You can either get the same trash cheaper or something much better for the same price.

Loved it. The receptionist was awesome and really looked after me. My only complaint would be this stove is not very powerful to cook steak.

The fire was on when we arrived which was a welcoming touch Decor was very cosy but modern Would like to see more sustainable packaging of the toiletries.Throw away containers being used in such a beautiful space doesn’t sit well Apart from that the stay was perfect😀

Lovely place to stay

This property was perfect for a winters break ,they had turned on the fire for us prior to our arrival and the over all experience was magnificent . We WILL be staying there again .

Highly recommend for a romantic night out

secluded villas in the bush

on first encounter the unites look fabulous from the outside. each one extremely private, peaceful and a lovely private outlook. However the glass walled bathroom whilst 'cool and hip' is not functional by any means. for any privacy one must draw the semi transluscent curtains across [from the outside of each glass wall. one wall with the glass door so if one then wants to enter one has to go behind the curtain from one end and fumble their way to the door. It's not functional. At night to leave the only lights on into the bathroom flushes the bedroom completely with light making it extremely difficult to sleep. The curtains need to be divided up so as to allow easier access into the bathroom if one wants privacy. Or alternatively invest in glass with privacy switch.

Fabulous place to stay in an idyllic location. Comms were great, facilities excellent and appointments superb. Top spot for a romantic get away!

The property was very well maintained and clean. Located in a very nice, quiet and private area in Daylesford, it’s a the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Hepburn spa and bathhouse is also just 50m away which make this villa all the more appealing.

what a beautiful location and well appointed accommodation with great luxury. Only thing that could have made this perfect for us is we drive an electric car and it would have been handy to have had level to electric car charging

I been here before everything is perfect

Loved the bush setting. Couple of negatives, daddy long leg spiders on the kitchen/dining ceiling, spa bath plug leaked water and bath took a long time to fill. This was Villa 6. Other than that very nice place to stay.

This accommodation was beyond our expectations. Everything was 5 star and beyond. The contactless checkin was perfect. This is the first time that The web did not Do the property justice. It was the best accommodation we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot of places.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Gorgeous room, quiet, lovely gas fire, amazing spa bath. Perfect way to spend my 30th birthday!

Loved the in room fireplace, the spa bath, robes, loved the decor and kitchen facilities.

Room was dark. There was no privacy with the open bathroom and shower and not just within the room but unless all blinds were closed the shower and toilet could be seen out to the carpark.

Getting back to nature- luxuriously!

We stayed at Hepburn at Hepburn on our honeymoon during the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown in Victoria. It was the perfect place to practice social-distancing without feeling like we were missing out. There was an extremely comfy couch, the kitchen was very well equipped, there was Netflix on the tv and the most luxurious spa tub ever. The small private balcony that backed on to Bush land made it feel secluded, private and very special. It was getting back to nature in the most luxe way!

Good privacy from the other accommodations, the spa was bigger than I could see on the photos. The air cond is a bit noisy

Private and beautiful setting. Luxurious and clean

Beautiful place. Nice to sit on the veranda and have breakfast. Only thing that could improve our stay would be a mattress topper on the bed as it was a little uncomfortable. If it was one night it would be ok but by the third night I felt I needed a massage. Lucky I was in daylesford - massage city!!

The floor had not been cleaned, it was sticky underfoot. Lights in the cabin didn’t all work. It was impossible to read at night in the lounge area. Not a complete kitchen.

Needs an upgrade

Our first stay we had room 9 and it was awesome. Our second stay was room 12 and this stay also room 12. Upon entering the room it did not seem clean the benches were covered with stains and dirty marks. In the kitchen and in the bathroom on the spa. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly. The spa wouldn’t stay full and kept emptying out even with the plug in. No slippers with our robes like last time and foxtel isn’t available anymore. We seem to be paying more for the room but for less items and quality. We normally love coming to stay here and maybe the other rooms are nicer but room 9 was very disappointing for how much money you pay for 2 nights. I’d need some convincing to head back there

Beautiful for younger people.

Our stay was great. Only thing is that it is not suitable for anyone with a disability. We are older and not nimble on our feet and it is not really suited to someone like us.

Interesting layout and design. Main concern is the lack of adequate lighting. After an active day of walking and sightseeing I like to relax by reading. Only spot with usable lights is the bedroom! Other than that, great

We stayed here when it first opened and were amazed at how beautiful the cabins were, but it seems they have had a hard life with cracked tiles and lots of little nicks etc. in the walls and cupboards, globes that needed replacing... There was only one steak knife provided, enough milk for one day (even though we'd booked two), the frying pan was so warped it didn't even sit flat on the stove. YES - I could have requested these be corrected at the time, but I just wanted to have a relaxing and uninterrupted weekend away with my wife and think these basics should be easy enough to get right.

Cosy Winter Stay

I have stayed in a couple of time now, and the owners are so lovely. It is walking distance to the Bathhouse, and close enough to walk to dinner or breakfast. I love coming here, especially during winter and the fire warms up the cabins and its really cosy.

Sounds of silence

It is a lovely place. Reception helpful and friendly. Great location. My only challenge was managing multiple remotes - tv, heaters, bath jets etc. and heating noise a bit of a distraction from the quiet and sounds of the environment.

Beautiful stay just a couple of problems

Beautiful stay however the spa wouldn’t stay full as I think the plug is broken and The heater/fire wasn’t working most of Saturday night so we were freezing

For couples who don’t mind no bathroom privacy. Not ideal for friends.

I booked a night away at Hepburn at Hepburn to celebrate my husbands birthday. We arrived to discover they had no record of our booking and were fully booked out. I had received a confirmation email from Wotif confirming my booking and telling me there was no need to contact the hotel. The staff explained they had been having some technical issues recently and maybe that had been the cause of not receiving our booking. I was very upset and disappointed as we had travelled some distance to get there. The staff assisted us in finding somewhere else to stay for the night, but all in all this was an extremely disappointing experience on what was meant to be a happy child free night away for my husband and I. I Would recommend booking directly with this hotel to avoid having a similar experience.

Beautiful little villas

Had a fantastic time in Hepburn Springs staying here. Lovely staff and comfy rooms. Would recommend.

Overall it was cosy and peaceful. It's definitely more suitable for couples than friends. The modesty curtain was just modest enough if you're not a couple but could do with a bit more coverage for non-couples. The a/c is a bit noisy if you leave it on at night. If you had allergy bedding it would be great as my dust allergies were a bit irritated.

Tranquil space

First off the lady at reception was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Walking into the room I was very excited- the room itself felt modern, private and homely. The view out the back with the little patio area was nice. The fact you could watch tv from the spa bath with surround sound was a lot of fun and the spa bath was quite big and a huge plus for me! Location next to the bath house was perfect as well. Overall it was an incredible stay and felt like home, lovely for a romantic getaway!

Long Weekend in spa country

The hotel accomodation was wonderful - perfect for a couple. Great autumn escape kicking back in front of the fire on that amazing velvet sofa. Really enjoyed it.

Nice spa

It was amazing because we can have our own spa in our room. They are so friendly provided us the bath salt in the room. The kitchen utilites are well organized even we did not cook. We can walk to downtown and the famous Hepburn bathouse and spa.

It was very clean and quiet resort, very nice set ups and amazing indoor spa.

We stayed over the weekend and had a lovely experience. The room was luxurious and beautifully decorated. The location was secluded and quiet. The spa was very nice, and gas fire place was also a nice touch. We cuddled on the comfy couch in front of the fire place and watched some movie while sipping sparkling wine. Very nice!

Close to Hepburn spas

A fantastic stay - modern and comfortable facilities, including an indoor spa and fireplace, a private outdoor decking area looking out into the wilderness. Just a couple of kilometres away from the city centre, which I think was perfect given the location of this place.

Classy cube

Everything about the place is classy. The gas log fire place kept the room toasty warm and added a great ambience with the lights off. The bed feels like sleeping on a cloud, whilst the wet room is perfect for the romantic couple.

THE OUTSIDE APPEARENCE LOOKS FINE, VERY IMPRACTICLE, TRYING TO ROLL SUITCASES ALONG THE GRAVEL PATHS, SLIPPERY ENTRANCES. THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM WERE IN NEED OF A GOOD CLEAN. IT WAS TOTALLY IMPRACTICAL, YOU HAD NO LIGHTING ANYWHERE NEAR THE COUCH, SO IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ A BOOK. THE ONLY BATHROOM POWERPOINT WAS IN THE CABINET, USELESS TO BE ABLE TO USEA HAIR DRYER.

Great location, Very private and peaceful, Short drive to Daylesford town for dining and shopping. Beautiful room and very cozy with the fireplace. The only negative point is that there's no daily room cleaning service.
