Excellent place to stay

It was a fantastic holiday and very helpful staff. The rooftop lounge is one to die for. Also during breakfast the view of hot air balloon was fantastic

Pros: Super close to the center of town so there’s lots of options for restaurants and shops. The town itself is mostly catering to tourists so the most of the shops are souvenir shops. They provide as water bottles for your stay so we didn’t have to buy any. There was a good variety for breakfast and it started at 8am to give you time for making it to group tours. The rooftop had a nice view of the balloons and it wasn’t as crowded as some of the other hotels. They can book you a ride to and from the airport at a reasonable rate. We booked a suite and it was nice and roomy. The tub was so comfortable. Cons: The rooftop was not at all like the pictures. It had very minimal decor. The lower section of the rooftop was reserved the two mornings we were there so we didn’t have access to the nice cabanas for photos. The room we stayed at had a nice courtyard but you can hear the neighbours talking from the courtyard or their own units. The breakfast area is all outdoors so you get to share breakfast with the cats which is nice, but also with the wasps and that wasn’t as nice.

Very interesting hotel in good location, close to all restaurants, and with most rooms look like carved in the caves with all proper modern amenities. Our room was on two levels with lots of stairs. We loved it. Most of the rooms located up the hill. But then the whole town is located in the mountains

Excelent customer service!

Great hotel overall! Location was awesome - right by the main town centre with shops, buses, restaurants. Our room was on the main/ground level so we didn’t have to climb up any steep areas to get to it. Note that if you want to watch the hot air balloons from the rooftop and have breakfast out there, it’s not free. It’s EUR50 per person!

The check in was smooth and flawless. SEFIR helped us with some amazing dinner choices as well as making the arrangements. The hot air balloon ride was fantastic as well as the "GreenTour Mustafa was a great help arranging our ground transportation. Would highly recommend this hotel

Great location, close to downtown and plenty of shopping and dining options. Also restaurant and bar offered good food and drinks. Would stay here again in the future

Fabulous stay

We were in the suite, which was huge with a super huge bathroom. We were attending a wedding with many functions so it was perfect to get ready in. Had its own patio courtyard area shared with just two other rooms. Breakfast on the rooftop terrasses was fantastic. Saw early morning balloons

Good service, very BAD room

Service was super friendly, but the room was super disappointing. It had view of garbage and nothing at all. Worst part that it has stairs. Washroom were downstairs, which no one told me about. Even worse than that was the stairs were very uneven. I have bad back and absolutely hated that.

Loved our stay here at Henna Hotel. I definitely recommend this location as it was considered the downtown of Gerome. This location was literally a minute or 2 walk from everything. I am so glad I choose this property. View, location and breakfast were just perfect. Staffs were friendly and helpful as well. Definitely recommend it.

Nice place very friendly people and amazing service

Lovely hotel right in the center of town, which made it easily accessible to many food places nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful and were able to book additional tours we took. One of the most amazing things about this hotel is their decks which give you amazing views of the balloons early at morning. Also their breakfast was divine, as well as their open air breakfast deck with wonderful little cats everywhere. I would definitely stay here again if back in Cappadocia

We were so impressed with Henna Hotel and the staff. the rooms were just as pictured, extremely clean and cool. the breakfast was amazing and abundant! and yes the balloons can be seen and beautifully pictured from their roof top bar. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to so many restaurants! Before and after arrival the staff was amazing including Housekeeping! Highly recommend!

This hotel is wonderful for any stay in Capadoccia! The location is perfect and is right in the center of town. All of the shops and restaurants are walkable. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff was so nice and everyone was so friendly in the front office and the rooftop bar. The hotel should be 4 stars, not 3! Breakfast was also wonderful. My only thing is that there was no recognition as a VIP Expedia member and no perk.

The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They are on hand to help organize anything from daily activities to airport transfer which makes our stay easier. We got to hotel super early and they were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 11am. They are also kind enough allow us to switch to another room that has an AC. So this was a big plus. Great location, it’s right in the heart of city, so you can walk to everything. The hotel has a nice rooftop where you can watch sunrise and balloons. Amazing breakfast with variety of foods and drinks with the gorgeous view. Highly recommended to stay here!!

I had a great stay at Henna! The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The rooms are clean, well decorated and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good as well.

Amazing historical property. Very professional staff. Two brothers manage this hotel who are fluent in English so no communication problem. They know all the locals very well so can easily arrange all kind of excursion trips for you on a short notice. Very courteous and caring staff team who exceeded my expectations.

Everything was perfect! The bed was huge, the room and bathroom were massive and best of all, they have a loofah available for free! Breakfast was delish and there were loads to choose from. You can choose to eat at the rooftop with the perfect aerial view of the city. The location was less than 10mins walk to the viewpoint of the hot air balloon. Will definitely rebook and most likely to recommend it to others who wished to enjoy their stay in cappadocia! Lovely staff!

The Henna hotel is decorated super cute. I requested a specific room before checking in and received it. Check-in was quick/easy. We asked for a roll-away bed for the room and the lady set it up. All staff were friendly and helpful.This property is located near restaurants and shopping. We watched the balloons at sunrise from the rooftop….AMAZING!!!!!! My only complaints… some of the dishes were visibly dirty and the room was a little hot. They have a fan in the room. Not a complaint but FYI: The food and rooftop are only accessible by steps and a very steep incline.

We had the absolute best stay at the Henna hotel. First of all - the rooftop! I can’t imagine a better view of the balloons in the morning than the rooftop of this hotel. The balloons went right by for almost an hour in the morning, two perfect mornings in row! Not to mention, the rooftop is beautifully decorated. The hotel is only 15 rooms as of today, and they don’t allow non guests to use their rooftop in the morning. The rooftop areas never felt crowded. Both mornings were peaceful and so enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and a beautiful deck to eat in the sunshine and watch the last of the balloons go by. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They carried all of our luggage to the room by hand, helped us find places to park on multiple occasions, and advised us on things to do in the area. We stayed in a stone room and it was so clean, had a big window and very high ceiling. To top it off, the location of the hotel couldn’t be better. You are a minute walk into the main town or Goreme with all of the shops and restaurants. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - these guys know how to do it right! Thank you Henna Hotel for a perfect stay.

Central location and cute hotel. I love the heated tiles in the rooms & bathrooms, so comfortable in the winter. Rooms were cutely designed and spacious. Breakfast was simple but good. Also 2 adorable dogs at the lobby, which is always a cuddle plus when coming back from walking around town

Superb stay at Henna

Accommodation was superb! We reached earlier than the official check in time but they gave us early check in and a free room upgrade! Really upexpected of them. The room is good and their service is top notch. They helped us with whatever we need. Will stay there again if we come back to cappadocia.

This is truly a cave property, which we desired (some pretend to be). Very unique and the ambience demands that you slow down and relax. I graded low on facilities because during our stay, there were multiple power outages on the property that made for very inconsistent lighting and internet service. To their credit, the power was not out for more than a minute as their stand-by generator kicked in almost immediately. They provided no explanation to us so I left not knowing exactly caused the outages. Hotel-provided breakfast was not the greatest but with so many options within walking distance, it didn't bother us much. I would definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at the Henna Hotel. The staff is very helpful and will help you choose activities all around Cappadocia. Their breakfast is great and you can enjoy a beautiful 300 year-old Ottoman style room in the premises. The rooms are larger than usual, with nice balconies and interesting decoration.

My Bucket list

I love this hotel and highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were helpful to accommodate us earlier since our flight arrived early. We stayed only for a day because we wanted to go for balloon ride. Unfortunately, there were high wind in the morning and it had to be cancelled. However, we decided to go on the terrace of the hotel and take amazing pictures from sunrise and the entire scenery. Very charming place.

The hotel is very central in Goreme. It is excellent value for money, very clean, very nice, friendly staff. They have a nice terrace and rooftop breakfast area with a good view.

The view from the rooftop was amazing, but they only set up the outdoor seating area one of the three nights we were there so we didn’t get any rooftop pictures unfortunately. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared each morning. The people were nice and friendly as well.

Definitely Ideal

This place is famous for its Onstagram worthy rooftop breakfast photo shoot scene, but the real treasure is the family that operates the hotel did absolutely everything and more to make our stay comfortable. From arranging an airport transfer on short notice, to preparing a special bouquet of flowers for my wife upon arrival, to helpful advice on where to visit and eat: the staff was on top of our every want and need. Breakfast is an amazing experience in the ornately decorated sitting room, the location is super convenient, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable... oh, and the bath is as luxurious as you could ask for. 10+ out of 10; stay here if you can.

The Loveliest Hotels in Goreme

Staying in this hotel is one of the best experiences of my trip. The hotel building is an old masterpiece and in harmony with the special atmosphere of Gormeh village. You can take wonderful photos in a room whit special decoration which 400 years old! The roof decorated with traditional furniture and the beautiful background of village and the sunrise or sunset give you a unique location for photography. The location is excellent and you will be satisfied of that. Let’s talk about the staff. Without a good staff, you cannot have a good stay even in expensive hotels! Fortunately the staff of this hotel is super kind and helpful and they do their best. They gave me ride to some parts of village many times and did not take any money! One of the kindest staff is Mr. Umut Bey who helped me to find attractions, addresses and other information same as a tour leader! He always smiled and never got bored of my many questions. The breakfast was excellent. Because of covid-19 considerations the breakfast was not buffet and it served in person. But that was plentiful and delicious. If I travel there again, I will choose this hotel again and again.

Historic hotel in middle of city though did not get room I thought I booked.
