Terrific location!
Not helpful at all. Would help with any problems for our stay. I strongly not recommend.
Great location
great location - walking distance to transportation, restaurants, shopping and major attractions. Property was very clean and safe.
Some inconvenient at check in since the girl from the day before disappeared at the time of check out and owner can’t take her belongings out of the place, this cause us to spend an extra $600 in a room near by, just to be safe
Electric location!!!
Right in the heart of the action. Very happy to have stayed here the atmosphere of the street below is electric and you can walk to so many shops, restaurants and attractions. Be sure to try the falafel/meatballs next to the hotel entrance.
Like the location where it’s close to dining, shopping, transportation, and attractions.
Love it
Hellenic Hospitality House was simply wonderful!! From check-in to check-out, I was very pleased. My Studio Suite was beautiful. And the location was exceptional! Highly Recommend! A
This is a very pretty small hotel within walking distance of the main attractions of Athens. I recommend it. It is on a pedestrian street so a taxi will drop you off 1-2 blocks away. There is a tall flight of stairs before you hit the elevator. Neighborhood is safe.
Excellent option in the center of Athens
A magnificent hotel, very well located near many attractions and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, very spacious and quiet. It has a mini kitchen and refrigerator. The attention of Christos was fantastic. We will come back
Great place to stay for a night or two. The building is perfect and everything is new. Lots of Blues music over the weekend. Murals all over the small city, completely walkable.
This apartment stay was very clean and quiet. 2 things that are very important to me. My bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed the full size drip coffee maker. The building is in a super convenient part of the city. Walking distance to the Acropolis. I would stay here again.
Hellenic Hospitality was great! Very close to yummy restaurants and bars and a very short walk from Montistiraki Station and the Acropolis. There were even little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for us to use (which we didn’t expect since it’s just a little place). Thanks, Christos!
amazing
The room itself was very nice however I was traveling from the island of Aegina and my ferry was going to arrive in Athens around 7pm. The properly manager, Christos, called and said they couldn’t wait for me as they would be closed. He refused to leave the key somewhere for me. He was rude and wouldn’t budge. On top of losing a day and money on the room he asked me to book another room across the building which I couldn’t afford to do. I had to sleep on the floor of a friends room in Aegina with my kid and leave early the next day to Athens. Overall Christos was rude and unaccommodating. I didn’t get a refund for the day he refused to let me in although I would have reached Athens around 7pm. On top of it all, while the room was nice the AC made a weird knocking noise every few minutes which kept us up all night. Since their office closes at 7pm there was no one to call for help. I would never go back to this place or Athens again. Rude people that try to up you one but make it seem like they are doing you a favor.
Great stay , wonderful service . Place is in a beautiful area close to all the places and activities. A lot of shops and restaurants around. Big place , very convenient to travel with kids . Overall very good experience!
Athens alive and fun
Wonderful location, plenty of restaurants and very close walk to Acropolis. Would return again.
A 5-star experience
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of Athens. The host was incredibly accommodating, making me feel right at home. The room was not only clean but also beautifully designed, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. Also, the location, being centrally located, was both convenient and secure with its gated premises. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch experience in Athens.
Amazing location and great accommodations!
Cozy place
Everything was just fine, great location near by restaurant, stores, train station, etc.
Location cleanliness
Central and comfortable
Happy to stay here agin in the future. Central, comfortable and helpful. Easy walking distance of nearest metro which is on the same line as the airport. My first choice to stay when I go to Athens again.
Front desk was abrasive, unfriendly, and inflexible.
Better impossible
The hotel is exactly how it is described. Our room was perfect, the staff friendly and helpful. The hotels location is superb, steps from Monastiraki, coffees all around, perfect stay
I loved this place. Very cozy room, good location
The place is spacious (2 bedroom 2 baths). The place is not bad for the price we paid. It’s not luxurious but not bad for a stay of 2 nights. Walking distance to the acropolis, restaurants everywhere. No more reception after 7 pm so make sure you let the host know because you have to book their contracted taxi service because the driver has the key to the place. I didn’t know this when i booked this place, if i could have known i will book somewhere else
Great place
Not for late Check out or Late flight back arrival
I can on a business trip, I arrived late evening 20:30 and there is no check in service which means the only way to arrive to your room is pay additional 50 euro to a driver to pick you from the airport. When I ask to cancel my trip 7 days before arrival because of that they refuse to allow me this even with the intervention of Expedia. The room is OK, the location is good, you have to climb many stairs to the elevator so take it into consideration. The WIFI I had was bad and couldn't held the online meeting I had. The owner said that this is not a hotel so more kind of AirBnB. He offered me to change room on the second day for better internet connection but I came only for 2 nights and it was time-consuming and not relevant for me. Also there is no place to keep your language in case of late flight only until 17:00. I carried mine all day long. Just consider all these conditions if it fits you before you book.
The property is in great location with access to plenty of food options. The location is also very walkable to Acropolis. Recommend this location for anyone looking to enjoy Athens.
We were not picked up at the airport in time. The place is not a Hotel it’s an old building in a decent area with some rooms only. No reception, no service of any kind, rude people . The blamed it all at expedia
Great location. Right on street with many dining and shopping options. Very close to the market.
Great spot. Great owner operators.
late check in through phonecall and there's some misunderstanding. could consider sending all the information in one message.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel it is in the heart of everything restaurant, shopping and Spas. Super cozy rooms
Wonderful stay
A perfect stay in the center of Athens. This boutique hotel is in one of the quieter areas but still a few minutes of walking from all of the action and attractions. Local restaurants and stores are right outside the establishment. The building and rooms are a European style and have all the amenities you need. The room we were in was the Poseidon suite which is spacious and feels like a European apartment. Linens were fresh and and the place was spotless. The balcony was perfect for people watching with a glass of wine and viewing the Acropolis in the distance. So many good things to say about this place. Chris had arranged airport transfers for us; highly recommend you do this as it made for a quick seemless ride to the establishment. Chris was very knowledgeable and helped us and other guests in any way he could If you are in the Athens area and want a more European experience then this is your place.
Great Hotel and Location, but a Catch for Check-In
Our room/ apartment was huge and sparkling clean. It looks newly renovated. We had a small balcony which had a privacy screen. The location is excellent - steps away from so many restaurants, cafes, and shopping with lots of people around in the evenings. It was very safe to walk around the area. We walked to the Acropolis and all over Plaka. CAUTION - reception is only open from 10 am to 7 pm. If you arrive outside of those hours, you MUST use their driver service to pick you up and let you into the building because there isn't a self check-in optoin. It is a little more expensive (but comfortable and the driver is helpful).
Really comfortable well equiped room/apartment. Super quiet for such a central locaton. I would absolutely recommend this place. Excellent value for money. Be prepared for 29 steps to first level and lift.
The location of the property is truly amazing. It is in the heart of the city and in just a walk away you can find tons of restaurants and a few grocery stores. The apartment had a toaster oven and I think a microwave will be more useful.
Location, price and quality all get top marks.
Quick 2 night stay in Athens as part of a longer trip but loved this hotel for its location, price and quality. We stayed on the first floor and had a nice little patio and the room was more then enough space for us. It had all the amenities we needed and more. Great food options right outside the door for every meal but only 2-3 blocks away from so many other options. 15 minute walk to the Acropolis which was one of our must-do items.
Amazing property very big and very clean. A great option for walking through downtown Athens. Everything is nearby walking distance. Even parking was a five minute walk. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it.
Great spot in Athens!
This boutique style hotel has a great location near the heart of Athens and is about 15 mins or so from the Parthenon. It can be a bit hard to find though, as its not directly on road and instead is on a pedestrian walkway. Christos will meet you, give you advice on your stay in Athens and in Greece in general. His family has owned the building going back a few generations. The apartments are well appointed with some high quality antiques and the apartment that we stayed in was spacious, air conditioned, and really close to everything. There is an elevator after you ascend the first staircase, but it is very small. No breakfast option on site, but plenty to eat in the neighborhood as soon as you leave the apartment. Highly recommond!
Beautiful penthouse apartment with views of the Acropolis. The apartment was huge! Lots of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again but for longer than one night next time!
Spacious apartments at an awesome location
We went to Greece for 2 weeks and booked the HHH 3 times. We stayed in the Zeus unit twice which is a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with kitchen, dining, living and family rooms and a private patio with a Parthenon view. You can gawk at the Parthenon bathed in the morning light and aglow at night. Apollon is a spacious studio. Its location is ideal: on a chic pedestrian street lined with shops and eateries, short walk to the Monastraki (direct to airport and the Piraeus ferry port, multi day luggage storage nearby) and Omonoia Metro stations. A block from the Central Market and self service laundromat, 2 blocks to clubs and restaurants in the Psyrri area. Slightly longer walk to the attractions. Highly recommend this place, but only book if you can check in between 3 and 7pm.
This stay is in a great location
This apartment was exceptional. It was very clean and had tons of room. I almost wished my trip was longer so we could stay here more! The only problem was that the transfer fee from the airport was quite a bit more than they told us it would be, so I was a little upset about that. It wasn't enough to ruin the trip, but it was definitely a bummer.
I wasn’t sure where to stay in Athens and I saw the Hellenic Hospitality House on Expedia. It was in my budget range and had a balcony with a view of the Parthenon. The room was big and the walls were a calming lavender. The beds were so comfortable and the linen really clean. The room itself was nice and clean and had a fridge, toaster oven and coffee and tea. The location was great. We took a long walk around the ruins and had a delicious gyro right next door to the lodging. It was great to sit on the Balcony and people watch. The hotel manager called us when we arrived to see if we needed a ride from the airport. He was wonderful!!
Excellent location, excellent value for money
We stayed at Hellenic Hospitality House, and really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, near everything: acropolis, restaurant and bars, shopping avenues, market, public transports, ... everything. Would definitely stay there again.
Great location, walking distance to anywhere in downtown Athens. Very nice balcony area and large unit. There are stairs to walk but elevator takes you most of the way. Nice place
Very convenient and safe location ! The room had all the amenities .
The property was light and airy, with fun antique decor. Manager provided great recommendations and arranged all of our transfer needs. Centrally located within walking distance of popular sights. I highly recommend this place if you want a larger space than the traditional hotel.
edificio viejo pero limpio y amplio
El lugar estaba amplio y bonito pero la entrada es una gran escalera que al llegar nos ayudaron con las maletas pero cuando nos fuimos nos toco a nosotros bajar las maletas por todas esas escaleras
Rude and disrespectful service by the manager of the hotel. We arranged for airport transfer to hotel that never showed up. He claimed otherwise and forced us to pay for a service we never used. We felt intimidated. I would not recommend based on his bad customer service.
We enjoyed this unique experience. Christos was a great help to my husband and I. We were appreciative for his advice regarding what to visit especially when the weather was hot. Thank you Christos for making this a memorable experience for the both of us.
Great location!
Great location, nearby restaurants and shopping. You can even walk to Acropolis from here. Reception was very helpful is arranging transportation from ferry port and to airport. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of 5.
Excellent stay
The hotel was fantastic. We booked two rooms for a large family. Both rooms were spacious and clean. The location was incredible and within walking distance to everything: historical sites, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was amazing. They arranged transportation to and from the airport and cruise terminal. They also recommended excursions and arranged them for us. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Very nice apartment room. Great size for Rome. Wonderful location. Walking distance to many of the historical sites in Athens. Plus many nice bars and restaurants in the area. Christos was the best. He arranged transport from the airport, helped with best way to get to the ferry port and with printing of documents we needed. He was also a joy to just sit and talk with. Felt like my friend after only a few nights.
Had an excellent time at the HHH during our stay in Athens. We actually booked different rooms for two separate legs of our trip and both where as advertised. We initially stayed in a single room for the first few days of our trip and the Zeus suite on the final two. Both rooms were great but the view from the balcony of the suite was incredible. Absolutely great service, they arranged airport rides, full day excursions, etc. which took a good deal of planning off of our plates and gave us time to explore the city. Location is incredible, we rarely had to take a car anywhere. All the historical sites are in walking distance and there is plenty of quality restaurants and bars in the area. ( I suggest The Clumsy, Baba Au Rum, and Folk) HHH is a must stay for us when we get the chance to return!
The location is excellent. It’s steps away from great restaurants and bars, 15 min walk to Acropolis and Acropolis museum.
Great for city Vacation and sightseeing.
Very nice and big new renovated apartments. Great location, near to all major attractions. View to Acropolis from balcony.
Top Notch All Around!
Amazing staff well organized and knowledgeable. The view was amazing and the local resturant walk at night was so memorable. The apartment was a 10. Tony and Debbie Temecula,CA.
Large and spacious rooms..very clean, perfect location, used the driver service which was seamless and very professional
Outstanding service
Everything such as location and service is outstanding. Elevator was a little bit small that it does not provide enough space for four people. Overall, I had great experience.
the property is centrally located and accessible to all attractions within walking distance. it apartment is clean with basic necessities. staff were nice and helpful especially Evelyn who provided us with tips on what to do and where to eat. really enjoyed our stay here. will recommend this place to my friends
Nice hotel, but horrible stairway
The room was very nice -- well decorated, comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom. The air conditioner was worthless -- didn't cool the room at all, so that is one thing the management should look at. The other main issue is that you have to walk up two big, steep flights of steps as soon as you walk in the door of the building -- this is very difficult if you have several heavy bags. I did not know this at the time of booking. There is no lift, and there is no one on staff to help with the bags. I recently had surgery, so this was a very uncomfortable aspect of the otherwise nice hotel. It is in a good location. The staff are quick to respond to emails.
Excellent Location
Excellent location, great recommendations from staff, spacious and comfortable room
Gorgeous property right in the centre of Athens, a stones throw from lots of lovely bars and restaurants, and walking distance to all the main sights! Will be back! Cannot recommend enough!
Not only was the property in the perfect location, but it was also spacious, comfortable and clean!
Excellent location right in the Centre of tourist attractions and shopping. Staff very helpful as we landed 6am at airport they organized a shuttle for us and gave us name of local restaurant for breakfast while we waited for apartment to open at 9am. Would stay there again and would highly recommend it
Location of this property was ideal if you want to be walking distance to everything but in a more quite area of town. There is a lovely church within 300ft of the apartment but only downside was every hour you would hear the church bell ring. Room was clean and great side with a balcony and view. Water pressure was great. Living room Netflix enabled TV. Coffee shop next to apartment has great coffee. My only real critique and issue would be the wifi signal was not strong and stable. Was constantly getting kicked off and/or couldn't connect. Would definitely recommend and will penally be back to stay again.
Miscommunication, no one was available to open for us and they knew at what time we were arriving..had to find wifi quickly in order to find another hotel so im not homeless. Its not the first time i booked an apartment but this was the worse experience
It was well located. Quiet neighbourhood Hotel a little loud amongst guests during early hours of day. Room a touch cramped and shower could definitely use a door as floor constantly soaked and drains a little smelly
Our stay at the Hellenic Hospitality Hotel was fantastic! The apartment we stayed in was clean, spacious, comfortable, and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. We were greeted by Evelyn who spent time getting us situated and mapping out the important sites to see and areas/restaurants to visit. I would stay at HHH again in a heartbeat!
It's in a perfect Central location only 10mins walk from EVERYTHING- Monasteraki Mkts, the Pkaka, Syntagma. Great place and spacious. There is one flight of stairs to the elevator.
location, location, location. This property was walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka and main shopping districts. I had a family of five and felt safe at all times evening during the evening. The hotel arranged for our transport pick up and drop off, we were greeting upon arrival and even had Evelyn carry baggage for the kids. Chris was easily accessible and answered questions I had about Athens. The suite we had more than enough room for a family of five; it was very spacious and clean upon check in. It was like we had an entire house vs your traditional hotel room. We arrived earlier then scheduled checked-in, but they held out luggage until the room was ready and delivered the bags to the room. To my surprise, there was a balcony which had a view of the Acropolis!!! I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Athens. The only quip was the internet wasn't as stable or sufficient to support all of our usage.
Nice location, the building is in a street with plenty of restaurants and shops, clean
Great stay!
Went to Athens on a girls trip and just needed one night stay before we went island hopping. It was a perfect location and reception staff went above and beyond us to make us feel welcome. And they even had many tips and recommendations for the other places we were to visit. Very knowledgeable and friendly, everyone was amazing.
Christos and the team were absolutely lovely! The hotel is very well located and the rooms are beautiful as well. All-round highly recommend staying here when in Athens!
Perfect Place in Athens
This location was perfect for our stay in Athens! We were walking distance from everything, and right in the heart of all the action. It was a bit loud and we could hear everything in the streets at night, but we're just not used to the city noises. Otherwise it was an excellent place, with nice, modern upgrades. Evelyn and Chris were incredibly helpful, and gave us great options for activities and food.
Very centrally located. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Best place to stay in Athens!
The Hellenic Hospitality House is one of a kind place to stay. Christos went all out to ensure that our stay in Greece would be an incredible experience. We stayed in three different rooms during our time (as we island hopped) in Athens. Every room was fully equipped with everything that we needed and was new and modern. I am definitely going to recommend this place to my friends and family, and I would absolutely stay in no other place when I return to Athens.
Good host, good service, good location, everything is good. Really enjoy the time in Athen, we will definitely stay here if we come Athen again.
Property was beautifully furnished and location was convenient, within few mins walk from shopping district
Hospitality at its best!!!
The Hellenic Hospitality House was our home base in Athens as we explored the city, Kalabaka and the islands. We stayed in three different rooms during our stay and each apartment was unique and lovely. We had everything we needed. It was super clean with all the up-to-date fixtures and features. Christo has thought of everything. However, it is the SERVICE that made The Hellenic Hospitality House stand out for us. From the very beginning of our stay, Christo worked with us to be sure we had transfers to and from the ferry and the airport. He allowed us to leave an extra bag behind and moved it for us. He even checked in on us mid-way through our trip to see how we were doing. I have never had an experience like this before. Truly extraordinary service! Without a shadow of a doubt, we will be staying at The Hellenic Hospitality House during our next visit to Greece. It is truly hospitality at its best!
Great apartments
Really beautiful location and clean room. Located in a very central spot. Everything was within walking distance.
My flights were a problem and I arrived considerably later than planned with cell phone/communication problems. Chris could not have been more helpful.
This property is conveniently located in the city of Athens.
Fabulous place to stay in the heart of Athens!
We had an amazing room in the heart of Athens! Centrally located to the Metro, shopping and restaurants. Christo was so kind and helpful. Our apartment was very large with all the accommodations of home. Christo was so kind to help us with our arrangements for transfers to the ferries, airport, etc. I highly recommend The Hellenic Hospitality House. (Check out the Falafel place right outside the door. You’ll see a long line of people form around 9:00. Best Falafels I’ve ever experienced!)
Having breakfast in a balcony overlooking the street is a nice experience.
I love this place so amazing. Chris is super nice. I will definitely stay here again. Tons of food near by easily walkable to metro.
The room was very practical and beautiful, everuthing was clean and the location was perfect, right in the centre and very quiet too
We arrived at noon, two hours before official check-in time. The owner and staffs are kind enough to let us check in as soon as the room is ready. Our suite is the largest one in the hotel. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. It is tastefully decorated, looks better than what pictures shown. We didn't know the suite comes with a sauna room! The location is within walking distance to almost all major interest points in Athens. We enjoyed our stay, friendly staffs and interesting conversation with the owner.
Good location, spacious apartment, friendly staff, nice view, good price.
We had a great experience at Hellenic Hospitality House. Chis who is the owner of this property is an amazing host and was extremely helpful in organizing our transportation, especially when we had travel delays due to flight cancellations. The property itself is very conveniently located very close to the metro station, all major attractions as well as some great restaurants. Highly recommend this property!
Great place
Staying here made us feel like we’re locals for the week. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They met us and helped orient us to the city. We stayed in a room with a balcony and the view was amazing. Beds were very comfortable and we had space to move around. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.
Fun near the Plaka
Very nice stay. Great help with airport transfers.
Great place with wonderful staff
I would like to give this lovely guest house a 5 star review. Here you go 1. The room is very clean with modern design. 2. The location is great and accessible to all good restaurants and shopping area. 3. The manager is very helpful with our taxi service. On top of that, We left Santorini accidentally with our hotel room key and wanted to ask Hellenic reception to mail it to the hotel(we are willing to pay extra fee)since we are leaving Greece. The manager offered to help calling the hotel in Santorini and ask them to pickup the key when they come to Athens. Very helpful and thoughtful manager. 4.We left our luggage in the hotel for two days without any extra charge when we left for Santorini. Overall, it’s a great place to stay when you are visiting Athens. We definitely will come back if there is any chance we visit Athens again.
Best stuff, clean rooms very good position everything was perfect.

Great place for price
There was a change in ownership happening the day we stayed there but contacting to check-in and out went smoothly, and they helped us arrange airport ride for morning. Very nice place in a nice area with Distant Acropolis view from balcony and with dinner and breakfast options steps away. Had we stayed longer would have made use of the mini kitchen… next time would stay for longer.
