Not great
I was given a single room on the lower ground floor which was fine at first. The room was clean and fairly comfortable and the shower was pretty good. There was 1 window giving me a view of a storage room which was bizarre and without being able to cool it with a regular window made it quite hot at night and tricky to sleep. I was next to a conference room and heard people coming and going, doors, and would hear foot fall often. I went to the desk in the late evening where the staff at reception is there with headphones in and just didnt seem interested when interacting. There was two occasions where I would go to the desk and there would be no one there and there’s nothing to notify anyone. The staff were generally nice though on the interactions we had. I wouldn’t stay here again, I’m sure there are better rooms but price paid isn’t cheap by any means, certainly my stay here was not worth it.Location is great and it’s a shame but wasn’t a great stay for me
There is a strong lemon orange air freshener that gave me a headache and the person above squeaking and stomping all night smell of weed in the area
One of the receptionists (a blonde lady) was fantastic, responsive, careful and delivered on promises. The other (a bearded man) was friendly but careless, unhelpful and would not go out of his way at all to help for even simple requests. Because of him, I'll never stay there in the future, made my stay there uncomfortable.
A nice room and everything was new and in good condition. Very good shower. Unfortunately, I was given the room on the lower level and somebody checked in at 1 AM in the morning in the room above me and started making a lot of noise walking around and banging things. I had to go to reception to let them know. It’s not the hotel‘s fault, but guests should be reminded of keeping the noise down at those hours.
Room had window wide open in winter so was freezing. I had to leave and asked the staff to make sure it was an appropriate temperature for when I returned and it was still very cold. There were not fairly basic amenities either. Average hotel - would expect a little more for cost, even through location was decent / central
This hotel is small and doesn't have many rooms or amenities. The neighborhood is sketchy. The room that I was booked to was deep in a basement -- the only room in the basement, next to the large utility closet -- not ideal for a woman traveling alone. There was no cellular/data reception and no window to the outside (just a half-window to some tiny alcove with a bright light -- I have pictures). I immediately identified this as a fire hazard. I asked whether I could switch rooms and the polite staff declined citing no other available rooms. The fact that the room was in a basement with no window to the outside was not stated in the description when I booked. The booking through expedia states no refund. I returned my room key and booked another hotel for my stay in London -- the other hotel was only slightly more expensive and far superior. While the furnishings of the room seemed acceptable and clean, and the staff earnest, I do not recommend booking this hotel.
Okay stay
From a utilitarian perspective, it’s fine but it wasn’t clean. The room was also very small.
The perfect place to stay.
Clean, comfortable, modern, well appointed rooms. Good bed, decent towels, good tea/coffee making facilities with bottled water, biscuits and muffins too! Absolutely no noise from the street or buildings at the rear of the hotel. No breakfast but there's a Costa café next door.
Odd Basement Room with Uncomfortable Bed
The location is decent with two tube stations very close (Farringdon and Chancery Lane). Costa Coffee is next door, a few pubs and other restaurants just a short walk away. I stayed in an economy single room, which was in the basement and it was the only room down there. It was kind of odd. The bathroom was nice and modern with a waterfall shower head, though the towels were incredibly rough/scratchy. The bed is one of the hardest mattresses I have ever slept on, super uncomfortable, as were the pillows. TV had streaming services you can log into and there was a small fridge inside the wardrobe - not very cold. A chocolate muffin was in the fridge (not sure if there was a fee) and it’s one of the most delicious muffins I’ve ever had.
Lovely!
Small, lovely hotel in a great location. We had a nice welcome from friendly staff at reception. The room was really nicely furnished, shower was amazing, the fridge in the room was stocked with complimentary bottled water and muffins, and there was good WiFi. The location was quiet overnight too. Really pleased to have found this hotel.
Bed not comfy. Pillows soooo old. I spoke to them to give me better pillows at least. They gave me one extra old pillow
Great hotel at a reasonable price
The hotel was in a great location and a 5 Minute walk from public transport. The room decor was stylish and tasteful and had complimentary drinks and snacks. There is a coffee shop in the same street and bars and shops within walking distance. Perfect for a weekend away in a lovely area of London.
Good room
Great hotel in a good location
Clean but noisy
I just needed a hotel for the night. Most things were okay, the bathroom was good with a nice shower but the rooms are very poorly insulated from sound, both from the street and the neighbouring rooms. Let’s just say I could tell if the room above was having a 1 or a 2.
Nightmare!!! Ceiling leaking!
The ceiling was leaking water onto my bed. They gave me a partial refund. Then, they gave me a hard time to get me another room. After one night of the other room, they moved all my belongings to another room without my consent. Absolutely a nightmare.
Good location,good services
Bed size
At the reception Sohil was very kind and helpful the room was good but the size of the bed was very small for 2 people to sleep one of us had to sleep on the floor
The receptionist Mr Sohel was very kind and helpful he was helpful to a great extent
I was disappointed in this hotel. There is basically no lobby, bar, or other place to meet people. Our room was small and poorly laid out. There were no suitcase racks and little room to even have them open on the floor. Towels were dirty when we arrived but the staff was good about immediately replacing them. London is a hard place to find nice hotels. It wasn’t terrible and I’ve certainly stayed in worse places in London. But for the money, I expected a little more.
Very good, very comfortable, very fresh, hidden gem
Great value
I liked staying at the hotel. Nice area, a lot of different transportation to any part of London, plus Elizabeth line 4 minutes walk from the hotel, which takes you right to the Heathrow airport within an hour (if traveling alone it’s the best way to save money).
Not so good.
Lack of window and firm bed. TV was rubbish.
Modern, clean and comfy
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and bathroom. Really clean and modern. Shower was great. Excellent value for money. I will definitely stay here again
room was too small fornis
Well located. Convenient to get to client site. Not too far off the motorway
Let down by solid bed ruining comfort
So many good things about this hotel but let down by the hardest bed I've ever encountered making the sleep very uncomfortable and left feeling in pain the next day. Good things were: location, ease of check in, value for money, very clean and pleasant room.
Good connection to central London
Great boutique hotel.
Nice boutique hotel. Modern and and comfortable Very clean. Probably the cleanest hotel room we’ve stayed in. Although it doesn’t have a bar or breakfast facilities, there it lots close by. Costa next door, a Wetherspoons round the corner etc
Had to carry ironing board up to my room with my bags. No offer of help. Room was tiny.
Great hotel.
The reception staff were very quiet, the room was amazing but location was not like we would prefer.
Hatton Garden, good location.
Great location for my trip, friendly welcome and comfortable stay.
Room without window
It was not written on the website that the Economy room does not have a window that can be opened.
Excellent location, recently updated facilities, very helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone and likely will return.
Excellent service . Quiet and comfortable room
A very pleasant stay with considerate staff
We couldn't have been happier with our stay here. We were slightly awkward customers in that both my wife and I had bikes with us for the weekend. The hotel couldn't have done any more for us. In advance they arranged for us to be on the ground floor, even after we checked out they made special arrangements for us to leave our bikes with them to continue exploring London before our train home. The room was spotless, the shower excellent, and the muffins in the fridge were a nice touch too :) We would definitely stay here again when we next visit London.
Tinest bathroom and space for the amount of money paid.
Nice hotel and all equipment in room are new, modern design. I’m very like for quiet rooms that you rarely find in most of the UK building. Staff are nice and helpful.
The location is peaceful in the evenings.
It’s fine, but there’s no soul. You turn up, you sleep, you leave.
Just somewhere to sleep: not a lot of frills here!
A good choice for this part of London. It's a short walk from Farringdon station and there are plenty of buses nearby. My room was fairly comfortable - though a bit noisy as it was on the first floor and right over the road. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. It's just a place to sleep: there is no breakfast or other food offering.
Helpful staff and punctual with service
Great for business
Good short stay business hotel. Excellent shower
Convenient for Chancery Lane
Functional . Receptionist in wrong job.
I've stayed here before, it's functional if you just want a room and if it's priced on a similar level to Premier hub which is nearby. I've rated it low due to the most unfriendly, unwelcoming receptionist I have ever come across, and the first time I have ever mentioned one in a review. That was at check-in, the person in the morning was fine.
Disappointing
The room was clean, well appointed and modern. Staff were friendly but so few on the ground to impact the service negatively. Location is convenient. So called queen bed was more like a king single. The room was noisy both from the room above and the nearby stairwell. 24/7 reception was not 24/7. The poor reception person also had to respond to guest requests and other duties forcing him/ her to leave reception on a regular basis. Total lack of public facilities such as seating, table, toilet in entrance hall. Just a hall and a desk was uninviting, and unhelpful when waiting for checkin or for a taxi ( it was raining outside and no covered area) Compared to other hotels stayed at in the area, I think it is overpriced and underserviced.
This is a modern hotel offering rooms only i.e. no breakfast or dinner option. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A bit warm perhaps. Check in was easy and we were provided with some free snacks and water. We were there two nights and it was perfect for what we needed whilst visiting our son.
great value for money and excellent property, providing hospitality basics in convenient London location

Nice hotel in range of Holborn and Covent Garden
Nice, clean and quiet. Good mattress and good shower - the most important two things for any hotel room!!
