Everything was good about the room, hotel is in great condition and they provided a lot of plates and utensils for the kitchen, there was an Aldi right across the hotel. Breakfast was too expensive to add wish that was included in the room which was not cheap. There is no ac in the room we left the window open.

The young man at the desk was polite, friendly and helpful. There was a medical emergency with another couple and we went to the desk to call an ambulance. He was very prompt and called for help and managed the situation. Unfortunately the man died of a heart attack in his room. The tall woman at the desk was unfriendly with a smile. If not for her I would have given the service 4 stars. There was a basket of candy and a cake with a knife at the counter and NO sign saying there was a charge. So we had a candy bar and and one slice of cake and through video surveillance, she told us the next day we had to pay for those items. On our departure then next morning, we were changed for a cup of coffee. In America those are always complimentary! I do not recommend Harry's Home. This place is no where near the uptown area of Zurich and you must use an expensive taxi or the tram that does stop in front of the hotel. We took the tram and had to switch to a train to get to uptown. Very confusing not knowing what platform to be on to get back so we relied on others to help use navigate.

Finding it is difficult

Once you find it then it's a good hotel. However the Hotels.com directions are completely wrong, and send you in a completely wrong direction from Wallisellen. The directions actually take you to a doctor's. It is actually in a place called Neugut 2 stops on the number 12 tram towards Zurich. The tram stop is right outside the hotel.

No shower soap, no soap at sink, toilet paper out. Went to the desk and got a attitude that we needed these things.

We really enjoyed staying at Harry's Home Hotel. The front desk staff was extremely helpful (Thomas and Asllan). Tbe lobby and rooms are super clean and comfortable. The studio room has a kitchen. There is a laundry room on the 2nd floor with washer and dryer which was a big plus. The tram stops right by the hotel, so very easy to get to the city center. We would stay there again.

Air conditioning didn’t work and the management was unapologetic. They blamed the hot weather instead of admitting that they had an issue. The director was not friendly and didn’t try to work with us. Would not recommend to anyone.

Hot!!! Really hot in the summer. The AC is not working, we asked the front desk about it and told us to wait it will cool down, etc but we never felt the AC in that room. We have to open the window & turn off the AC which is sooo much better but then the noise from the train is too much! Oh well, glad we stayed 2 nights only!

The room was nice and big, had a balcony and was clean. The hotel is far from the city (aprox. 40 min by train and tram) but has a station right next to it. It is located under some bridges which was my first impression. Front desk personnel was very kind and friendly.

The staff were exceptional. We found this property after our flight was cancelled on Friday (worldwide IT issue). To see their smiling faces and how helpful they were was amazing. We were so grateful that they made our stay so easy.

Very warm, hair dryer did not work, loud and beside train, and people playing pickleball at 2am.

Wonderful stay

It was a really clean and wonderful stay. They had lots of accommodations. Only thing I wish is breakfast was less expensive. It looked great!

Absolutely loved my stay at harry’s house. The staff are so kind and welcoming and never hesitate to help out with anything. The place is beautiful and modern with many different spaces to available to guests! The breakfast is also versatile and delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

New hotel , good service

We booked the room and when we got to the hotel, they hit us up for more money because we were a party of 2. Hotels.com did not ask me if I was traveling along and they room is small but fits 2 fine so why would there have been additional charges?

Great location, great hotel and great price.

Location is great, tram stop is 1 minute away, only 18 minutes to airport or 20 minutes to the town. Very clean hotel and staff are very friendly and helpful. As the tourist and no private car, if the hotel locates near the public transportation that will is such a great thing to have, the prices are reasonable. I can’t believe how clean this hotel is , will return and stay longer, definitely will recommend to my friends and feeling very safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. Thank you.

Very nice and affordable hotel. Unfortunately, the parking is not free. Also my given room’s bathroom sink doesn’t work, it was clogged up for some reason. Had to brush my teeth in the shower. Overall, I highly recommend it 💯

Practical place, good service and amenities, close to airport. Beds too hard for me and AC perfumed. Didn’t sleep too well.

As others have noted and they themselves acknowledge in Google Review replies, the AC currently does NOT work. Given that it's fall, normally just opening the window would not be a problem, but the hotel is right next to the train station. The trains run every 30 minutes and until 01:40 in the morning, so good luck sleeping. Cleanliness was good. Not a whole lot around the hotel and not a lot to do. Need to take a tram and then transfer at a train station to get into Zurich. Only real benefit is having the tram that's right next to the hotel to direclty to the airport.

Be aware of extra charges

My stay at Harry’s Home was pleasant enough, the rooms were comfortable but it was clear the floor was not cleaned in the rooms. My biggest problem was that the reception clerk charged us for an extra night when we checked in, even though I had paid upfront. After a long day of travelling for 12 hours I was tired and confused when he told me I had to pay more. I thought he meant the city tax (€5) but he charged me €150. I raised this with the hotel the next day via email to avoid any confusion, and am still waiting for the charge to be refunded to my card. Just a warning to have your wits about you when you check in!

Harry’s house is a great place to stay for short or perhaps even longer stay in Zürich. It’s between the airport and the city and it’s directly on the tram 12 line. Do not take a taxi to get to Harry’s house; It will be very expensive. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. I really enjoyed my brief stay.

The hotel is NOT air conditioned and this was the sole reason we booked it. The manager admitted that the owner lied in the ad - the system is air recirculation only. It does not get colder nor get rid of humidity. Our room was hotter than the outside temperature during a heat wave of 35 degree weather. The manager was unsympathetic, very rude and would cut you off mid sentence to try swinging the conversation to a tangent. Cannot fathom how he is still employed with the rude comments about other guests. All of the dishes and cutlery were dirty upon arrival. Cleaning staff advised we are responsible for washing dishes and buying our own dish soap and sponges despite other guests saying it was provided in their room. The hotel also tried very hard to double charge us. They were adamant that we didn't pre-pay despite showing them the Expedia emails, receipts and credit card bills. It took over 30 minutes of arguing that we paid before they "checked the Expedia system" to confirm our payment. The room itself is great, don't get me wrong. Cute, small, modern and as pictured. Great location with a tram stop right outside the hotel. It would have been a 5 star review. But the hotel staff, management and blatant lying in the ad brings it down to a 0 star.

Modern and safe. Tram out front is very convenient as it’s not in a touristy area. The rooms fan didn’t feel very effective and it was hot overnight even with it on max. Overall nice experience.

Switzerland for the first time.

We arrived early from our flight but the receptionist Ramon allowed us to check in early and also a bit later on our checkout. He was also very helpful with a number of other requests and queries. Excellent customer service.

Getting there ignore Google maps take the 12 from the airport to Neugut tram stop it’s literally outside the door. To get to Zurich take tram 3 stops to stellboch, escalators down to train and platform on right will take you into Zurich in minutes. Room is large with kitchen facilities perfect for longer stay, bring nespresso pods with you! Would stay again!

If you’re looking for a place in Zurich and traveling with family this is the best place to stay. Their apartment style rooms are perfect. The team going to the train station is a big help when touring the city center. Best customer service we had from a hotel.

Room was very nice and well equipped. We had a double room that had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It was great.

We loved everything about this place, but if we had to choose it would be the breakfast buffet. Yummy!!!

The reception man was very impolite and I couldn’t sleep well coz of the alarm bell came on many times during the night and no one to stop it

Great hotel for Business trip

Very good location, tram station right in front, 20 min away from airport with tram and 10 with car, Glatt shopping center 5 min walk away, big rooms, amazing staff, and new location.

I understand how every hotel have short staff because we are having a hard time with COVID-19 but to leave a hotel with no one in the hotel just assistances via phone makes it a little bit hard. My friend and I, took us 45 to to finally get inside to the hotel. The sign to let you know where the door service after hours is wrong

I really enjoyed my time at Harry’Home Hotel,very clean, cozy, nicely decorated.I stayed in December and they had very nice Christmas decoration.Is a quiet place even though the train passes by very close to the property I didnt hear ANYTHING.Very convenient location with an Aldi grocery store just across the street.Overall, I loved it!

We like everything about Harry's Home Hotel. We love the room, the bathroom, the closet, the cubby holes, the HDTV, the breakfast area and service; the staff and front desk are all friendly and polite. We recommend this hotel and we will surely stay here in our return

I was in able to get early check in after travelling from Canada.

Eco friendly hotel. It just gives you the basics you need, but comfortable. Love the location- not too far from the airport and not far from the City. Very easy access to tram and trains.

It's a modern, even futuristic hotel perfect for access to the airport. You just step outside and on to a tram. A very hassle-free experience.

American travelers pleased with Harry's Home

Navigating to the hotel was a bit of a trick, and parking needs to be addressed... the local public parking machine was broken. We enjoyed our stay, fairly quiet, and appreciated that there were eco-friendly updates such as the AC would not kick on if one of the windows was open or vented. Smart. :) one SERIOUS complaint was that if WiFi service is going to be advertised... it should be able to support guests. The ONLY place we could access wifi was from the BATHROOM. *not* ideal.

Google maps couldn’t locate the place with the address provided and it kept sending me in circles . Too me 2 h to get from the airport when it’s 20 min away . Near a train so it was loud . Other wise it was great place brand new !

The hotel is very modern, having been open for only a few months, so the rooms are well appointed, clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is not central but it was very convenient for the week-long event I attended at the Samsung Hall (15 minutes walk) and the city centre is just a few minutes away on the S-Bahn. A tram from the airport stops literally outside. Although situated next to the dual carriageway and railway, soundproofing is excellent – my room was no more than 15 metres from the railway line and I honestly never heard a sound despite seeing trains passing frequently at high speed. There is an Aldi supermarket 5 minutes walk away for all your day to day needs, especially useful given that some of the rooms have fridge and cooking facilities. The hotel claims to have air conditioning but this is still a work in progress and currently there is just an element of cooling – a few degrees below the ambient temperature, which I guess would generally be fine but not quite up to the task when it was 35 degrees all week – my bad luck I guess being there during an unusually hot spell. There was a minor issues with a drilling type noise a few mornings which nobody was able to explain, but it was not early so not a huge issue. Overall an excellent stay.

Beautiful hotel outside of the action

Beautiful rooms, new, clean and well appointed. Lots of construction outside but couldn’t hear it from inside. Staff very professional. Couldn’t turn AC on from inside the room, only the fan function so couldn’t get room as cool as I wanted. And opening a window turns off the AC unit entirely. There’s little to do in immediate vicinity, he went into downtown for dinner. Bedding very comfortable and they actually gave our family of four two connecting room to serve as a quadruple. Worked well since that gave us an extra bathroom and kitchenette.

The property is not finished yet. They are still building. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was good. You can walk to several restaurants around the property.

Das Zimmer war sehr schlecht geputzt. Überall waren Haare. Auf dem Boden, im Regal, Schreibtisch. Das macht den Aufenthalt zum Alptraum. Die Managerin war sehr nett und zugewandt Positiv: das Frühstück war sehr gut. Viel Auswahl und vor allem viele Bioprodukte aus der Umgebung! Warum schlägt Hotels.com 100 Euro für 4 Nächte Gebühren auf? Ich werde nicht mehr über Hotels com buchen.

日本で言うビジネスホテルです。 まだ新しいく、大変綺麗で清潔な感じでした。何と言っても圧倒的な低価格です。 私の泊まった部屋はシャワーしかなく、冷蔵庫がありませんでした。 駅から近いというのはトラムの駅前で、チューリッヒ中央駅ではありません。 タクシーで20分くらいかかり、70スイスフランかかりました。 トラムは15分に１本あり、空港まで短時間で行けます。スイストラベルパスを利用できます。 中央駅には空港経由で行けます。 チューリッヒ市内観光には向かないですが、 帰国前の時間調整にはいいかと思います。

Struttura pulita, ordinata; stanza ben arredata e confortevole; apprezzabile trovare bollitore (con tazze) e macchina Nespresso per caffè oltre ad una piccolissima ma funzionale cucina. Non posso giudicare la colazione (non l'ho fatta) comunque forse un po' cara (€23 a persona). Unica grande pecca: manca il parcheggio e quello davanti all'hotel lo paghi anche di notte!!
