We stayed in room 5115 and encountered several issues during our stay. 1. Balcony Door & Noise: The balcony door was not locking properly, which was a security concern. Additionally, we had trouble sleeping due to a loud truck parked nearby, making the experience very disturbing. 2. Mattresses & Allergies: The mattresses were so old and uncomfortable that I woke up with severe back pain. On top of that, our allergies flared up every time we returned to the room. Upon investigation, I discovered the likely cause (see attached pictures). 3. Bathroom Noise: The toilet seat slammed so loudly that it startled everyone in the room, adding to our discomfort. 4. Pool Issues: The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the pool. It no longer uses spring water as it used to, and instead, it had an excessive amount of chlorine. As a result, our entire group experienced skin burns and red spots all over our bodies. Even 24 hours later, I can still smell the chlorine on my hands. 5. EV Charging Fees: The rate for EV charging is unreasonably high and should be free for guests, as is common in many resorts. Overall, the resort’s standards have declined significantly. Our group will be submitting an official complaint and posting online reviews to share our experience.
Hot springs was nice. Lots of pools and this time of year it was quiet. We ate at a local restaurant close by so didn’t try the restaurant in the hotel. Hotel was clean. Our room was in the original building so it was old but clean and staff were all nice.
You go for the pools, not the hotel.
Check in was absolutely amazing. I believe her name was Emily and she was so lovely and accommodating. I give her a 10/10. Been this hotel in the past. Hotel rooms are stuck in the 80's along with their mattresses. We only stayed one night but if I had to stay in Harrison longer, I would stay one night to enjoy the pools and then move to another hotel as the beds are that uncomfortable and rooms outdated for the price you will pay. This was the first adult trip I have done to this hotel. Usually we are in the family pool and seems to be clean. But this time we spent out time in the adult pool and by 9pm, the pool are so cloudy you could barely see your feet. Will I go back? With the kids yes. They love the pools. But the next girls trip away will be somewhere else.
the best thing here is only the hot springs. the hotel renovation is very old. it's a shame that breakfast is not included.
Awesome getaway from Vancouver
The staff here are terrific!

Hot springs are the best
We enjoy staying here regardless of the weather. The hot spring pools are great.
We had an amazing time there.
Love the place
The rooms are way too much outdated., noise from upper room(walking noise/flushing in 3am noise)etc., also, the dining experience is terrible., worst stake ever I had in my life..considering $80
It's pretty worn out
The area around the resort is pretty nice and tranquil. It's good for a weekend getaway
.
Nice towels and pools. Carpet was dingy.
Everything was excellent and we will definitely come back again
Like the walkable town.
Every thing was very good.
Honestly this was not a bad experience but I wouldn't put it at a great experience. Check-in /Check-out was fine, the room was fine. The staff appeared nice and worked with us when we needed it. Overall it was just that everything felt like it was lacking . Our room was very dated and services were kept very limited. The food facilities were quite expensive especially when you are already paying quite a bit to be in the hotel. I would recommend it but I would see if you could get it at a better price.
Decor and ambience
Great service. Great room
Everything is good, 8/10 but the biggest issue that they do not have a dryer. We came with family and a lot of wet clothes without chance to dry it. Who stays longer that is so uncomfortable. Pool was great, food expensive, personal was friendly.
I love the mineral pools. I was quite disappointed that the tub was clogged due to accumulated hair that must not have been cleaned for a period of time.
Needs up grade in facility
Very quiet and great hot springs!
I was looking forward to dining in the Copper Room but it was not available due to a function. It would have been better if I was told that when we booked our room.
Rude receptionist at front desk.
The building kind of dilapidated, it's very noisy from the hallway , we can hear very loud when the people talking and walks by. The WiFi also very weak and unstable. And the heating is also very noise too.
I didn't like the old bathroom.prefer a counter. There was no hand rail near the tub for safety purposes . Towels should be more readily available instead of having to go to the front desk. We love the pools.
Always a great time staying here and they have the best staff!
We have been going off and on for about 15 -20 times. And each time I feel the quality of this hotels standards get lower and lower. The fact that used towels are lying on the ladies change room floor in the indoor pool area in a pile about 3ft by 3ft , was unhygienic, night time front desk werent very friendly when we went to register our license plate , it was uncomfortable tbh . Mix up on our room. Which was settled in a timely manner by the amazing day time front desk staff , Salva was attentive and quick to help with the change . Overall the experience wasn't the best Dirty towels lying around in big piles isn't nice to see Evening front desk not friendly Good experiences were the day time front desk staff And the house keep staff were also very friendly This place could do better like it used to. Sigh
A great weekend get away to relax in the hot spring pools for anyone.
Very nice pools
A wonderful vacation my family and I had.
Hot springs are good.
Staff was not as friendly as they had been in past visits
Nice hot spring pool.
The parking fee is too expensive.
Hot spring water still ok but hotel needs upgrade
We had to change rooms at 1100pm due to urine smell in bed. The staff accommodated with another room which had wet carpet and a stinky fish smell. We persevered and slept somewhat. The staff were very gracious in this process and dit remove the 25.00 resort fee from our bill
Good
I like how the resort is old but has unique characters. Its clean and the atmosphere is romantic and tranquil if it was not so crowded. The pools were clean and at the perfect temperature. However, because the resort is booked for a week-long conference it was very crowded. It took almost an hour for me to check in on Sunday. The pools were crowded and noisy. The resort should have informed me that when I made the reservation. I would have came another time if I knew how crowded it was going to be there this week. I feel the resort should have offered some sort of compensation for these inconveniences for our next stay. This was our first time to Harrison Hot Springs and we would definitely come back but would make sure the resort does not have any kind of even going on next time.
Geat getaway
The adult pool was not as hot as it has been in the past, and it looked like it needed to be cleaned. Also the "Heritage" rooms need updating for both looks and smell.
Service is below average.
Dated, but love the hot springs pools!
Very relaxing
The room was old and noisy and in desperate need of renovations. Staff were excellent.
Dirty outside walls. When sitting in pool. Gutters been broken for years. Stained carpet in room.
The area is quite lovely and walkable.
We had a great time! The hot springs pool definitely needs updating , broken tiles etc Love Harrison !
I hope the front desk staff more helpful
WE liked using the pools, and the breakfast on site, and the tea service a nice bonus. We didn't like that we only got the key to our room at 6:15 pm, so had to get ready for our dinner reservation in our friend's room. We had the window of our car smashed and our car gone through and messed up. -GLASS EVERYWHERE. The staff at the front desk were sorry it happened, but were not very helpful. They only offered us a garbage bag to put in the window. We found Don and Doug cleaning up Xmas decor outside, and we asked them for a broom and clear plastic bag. They helped and got us all cleaned up and ready to get in our car- THEY should be commended ! (also...The pool could probably be painted soon) It was a bit disappointed that we got a smaller breakfast buffet in the copper room, without the expected view of the lake, because of the large group there at the time CLC. I will try not to book when they are there again. We were happy for the small discount and comp. breakfasts because of the delay getting our keys though.
We love it there
Great fun
Our room was in the old section of the hotel. It’s pretty dated. Could use some upgrading. The pools were great. The staff were really good. We enjoyed the dining room.
Good services and nice staff. However the facility was a little old. Dining outside the resort was fine.
.
The rooms were ready for 1.5 hour after checkin time. Considering the stay was until check out the day after, was a blow to our family plan. Heritage building but kept at minimal level of service, a motel rather. Late check in time, early check out time. The area and history of it is amazing, wish they had invested in this resort much more. Entrance lightings are dirty or don’t work, advertised as pet friendly, but you need to call them a head, some rooms are pet friendly only.
A little too family friendly
We invested in this trip and appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere, but perhaps the Copper Room could offer a more exclusive experience. An adults-only hotel wing might also enhance the ambiance, as the noise from children running in the hallways at night and again in the morning was disruptive. It would also be nice to designate the indoor pool as adults-only during certain hours, perhaps from 10 p.m. to midnight. While having one pool available until 11 p.m. is appreciated, extending adult-only time for the indoor pool would provide a more relaxing option. Overall, it was a positive experience, but for the cost — $1,200 for two people for one night including spa treatments — a more intimate and romantic environment would have been preferable.
The outside pool is great and the view is wonderful. The staff is friendly and the room is spacious though it is obviously out-fashioned.
Hotel is a bit outdated but still nice , great place to dtay
Nice place to relax
I like the music around pools, very relaxing. The hotel needs some renovations.
desk clerks and islands restaurant staff were very nice and helpful.
I booked for main hotel but when I came I changed to new part of hotel, the staff was super helpful and polite
I book my trips via Expedia and this time I was traveling with small kids and they gave a very far room from elevator and taking luggage to and from room was very difficult. I don't appreciate that. Also, the room across our room had a dog that constantly was barking and it was quiet annoying.
Our room was about 20 years outdated but cost a modern price. Bed was comfy enough though. Breakfast buffet was fine.. $33 per person is a little steep for the cafeteria quality food. Pools were excellent; but double check you brought your swim-wear. I forgot my trunks.. expensive mistake. Hotel gift shop wants $65 for some I think I spotted at Walmart for about $15.
We stayed just for New Years Eve. The property was vey busy for the occasion with many colorful guests. Some of them downright rude. I found the staff extremely helpful, friendly and resourceful under very demanding conditions. They went above and beyond. The one complaint would be the lack of payment options besides credit. They do work with Debit Mastercard, but it is extra hoops to jump through with a invoicing link. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that didn't take debit. Found that a tad odd. Otherwise fantastic. Loved the outdoor pools at night!
I really enjoyed the over all beauty, the walking trails, and convenience of the eateries.
Excellent!
Love staying at this hotel. Its clean and the beds are very comfortable. We always sleep really great when staying. If I had to change anything it would be the rooms could use a refresher. Everything looks fine as far is being maintained but just looks dated.
The rooms need major updating - Main building 315 I was in. Creeky floor, slanted floors. Dresser drawer would not stay closed do to not being even floors. Design of room was way outdated. Not enough tables to sit down in the report to do side work or computer work. Way to over crowded in the pools. For the price that was paid, not worth it. Overpriced, under-recieved.
We stayed at the Harrison Inn for 6 nights over Christmas while visiting family. The room was clean, but housekeeping services were by request only. When I asked for housekeeping to provide clean hand towels and wash cloths, the bath towels were replaced and the hand towels and wash cloths removed completely. They were replaced when I called the desk to ask for them. DO NOT USE the on-site electric vehicle charger. We were charge $27 for under 30 minutes of charging - available anywhere else, including at the public charging station for about $2.00. The hotel sets this exorbitant and usurious rate for electric vehicle charging.
Don’t stay again
Great little local getaway :)
I love Harrison hot springs as I’ve been here a handful of times over the last 20 years but boy does This hitel desperately need renovations. It smells bad and you can hear everyone below you, above you, next to you and in the halls. The rooms are so gross. I hope they revamp the place a little … Spent $500 for a night and the room eas worse than a motel 6
Pools are good. Rooms need some renovation.
The band at the restaurant is amazing.
Always enjoy the hot spring💕
not too good
When the reservation was made, Expedia listed a room in the older section of the hotel as the only room available. The photo was clearly misleading. The room we were assigned, #301, is clearly not of a standard worthy of a resort hotel designation. The term "ugly" would be suitable. Perhaps it would have had some appeal in the 1940s. However, alternate accommodation in the West Tower was available the next day which allowed our stay to be salvaged. Otherwise, the staff are great and the food was very good.
Ended up being booked into a room with a nice view of the massive AC unit encompassing our entire window
Service and extra charges were not very pleasant.
We loved indoor and outdoor pools.
Great stay for family with children
Beautiful hot springs pools
Convenience having the mineral pools.
It was a fun experience!
The Adult pool is not quiet area, few years ago was better.
Outdated, overpriced, crowded
good
The property didn’t provide bathrobe for us in the room, when we requested it, they said they ran out of it for kids, I believe they should prepare that for us when we booked the room, we mentioned we have two kids on booking…
Not worth the price
Didn’t have rooms ready by check in, they should make up for it with a late check out or something, only one elevator working in our tower, bathrobes not in our room even with late check in and even when we asked they didn’t have anymore, EV charging price is outrageous and predatory, sinks weren’t draining well and old, gym is extremely dated feels like in the early eighties with the room and lighting. Check in process seems crazy long at 4pm and waited for 30 minutes to be told room not ready and when room was ready was told to budge in front of everyone but of course with the long line ppl think you are budging, they need a separate area for that I ended up lining up again
Great times, great property, good to unwind.. However, the check in lineups at 4:00pm on weekends are ridiculous.
Great location. Nice restaurant around. Very clean. Staff is very professional and helpful.
Keys didn’t work, then we have been waiting for 20 mins to get the keys working
