Friendly staff

Foid wasnt available for our breakfast dome dats. Renovation very noisy. Our room glass door fell off and our room ftont door kept jamming. We paid for your lagoon rooms and we had people walking down our stairs and trying to fet our roo. They thought it was the massage parlour. My partner had 2 confronting situations were he had to stop people walikng in our room while i was asleep. We made all our disappointing issues clear to your staff at ftont counter. This made for a very stressful stay

A short but good stay

Cloae to everything. Good staff. Clean and comfortable room. Latte was fantastic.

Good 4* in the "middle" of Kuta. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars in vicinity. 20m pool part shaded all morning and most of afternoon. Generous room size. AirCon a little weak but the room cools down eventually. Not a hotel for beach-goers (a very long walk). Breakfast "OK"... Cereals, juice, toast, egg-station, more oriented to south east asians than people from UK however.

Pool access room was very noisy. Sewerage/water pipes from upper floors cross the ceiling and all night you can hear water running through them. Pool filter system just gargles early of a morning and late of a night. WOTIF has it marked at the wrong location on maps. It is 20 minutes walk from where it's listed to where it's located. Be sure to check location as we did not want to stay at that location. Lastly, items were apparently removed from our room. On mentioning this at check out, the girl at the counter was not interested.

Value for money

Decent Stay, But Needs Improvements

The property is decent, but the pictures online are definitely deceiving. The property needs updating, but I guess you get what you pay for. The location is great, and the staff was responsive to requests to clean my room. However, the room wasn’t cleaned to my standards. I had to call them back a couple of times to clean it again. Once, there was a stain on my sheets, and on other occasions, I found hair on the floor, so they had to come back to sweep again. I also didn’t like that I had to pay for bottled water, which should be free since we can’t drink the tap water.

Nice hotel in a great location

Nice hotel in the city, Clean, bed was comfortable, good range of shops and restaurant near the hotel. Short walk to the beach through the back way.

I booked a stay for 3 days ended up leaving after the first night. The hotel was dirty. The room was in poor condition. The breakfast had bugs crawling in the pastries and when told about it the server tried removing one pastry I stead of the while tray. I would never stay or recommend anyone to stay. Money was definitely wasted here

When we got to the property didn't even get welcome drink or anything that was welcoming at all it was my actual birthday that day as well all i got from the person at the desk was its my birthday as well at other hotels they give you a little cake or some sort off offer also then had to take our own luggage to the room my advice to other people about this hotel stay away go pick another hotel

Good hotel, located back from the Main Street so it isn’t too noisy. Good location and nice staff.

The Harper is a nice small hotel, but situated very close to Paddys Pub and SkyGarden where the noise penetrates your room till 3am. Most of the clientele appear to be mainland Indonesian or Indian so breakfast buffet is a challenging experience. The staff are nice and friendly and the rooms clean and tidy. Location is fine if your looking to be round the Bali Bombing Memorial are.

Area is quite sketchy at night, a group of 3 guys pulled up on bikes and tried to pickpocket us while walking a few minutes from the hotel. Hotel was nice and staff were excellent!

The property is well located to the party areas, restaurants and/or the beach including beach walk. Nice sweet with good views and excellent service.

Travelling alone, I felt safe. I felt surrounded by people who cared about me. Staff remembered me from a previous stay, so also had friends. Nothing was too much trouble.

Good location,near to kuta beach...stuff is helpfull

overall it's nice for the price. breakfast is decent but road to hotel is very crowded for a car. On my first day I got a noisy room and requested for a new quieter room. The hotel only managed to give me the new room the next day. Staffs are kind and helpful.

Everyone was more than willing to help with whatever was wanted or needed. Lots of Asian food at Breakfast however the chef would do poached eggs if asked. No bacon available. Noisy at night at times due to other guests and being in the heart of the Kuta night club area. Overall it was amazing, beautiful Spa and pool. Meals served by the pool. Beautiful spacious room and very clean.

I had a great stay at the harper. The staff are amazing and the whole place is really clean. Only one ask. Please put bacon on the breakfast menu 😊

Expensive for what you get. Our first room had a leaking air con, maintenance came to fix it and it still leaked, could hear the dripping during the night and had to keep a towel on the floor as I slipped on the water during the night. Could clearly see the water damage on the wall from long-term leaking. I requested a new room and was offered a downgraded room with no mention of a refund for the difference in price, ended up waiting for another room to become available, the ac also leaked in the second room however it was a lot less. The food at this hotel is terrible.

Beautiful

The hotel is in a good location to walk around Kuta and go to the beach. All the staff were very friendly and always there when I needed something. I got a pool side room the sounded cool but was not. The problem is in the day you hear all the people in it and at night I could hear the water spilling over the side and pumps. Also if you open your curtains the restaurant and pool get full view of you room. With the curtains shut the room was very dark.

Service, cleanness and location is excellent but I could tell that the hotel is getting old. Hot water wasn’t running hot in the room I stayed.

4 nights in Kuta

The staff is very kind. The room was a good size and nice but when I first came to the room there was some dust where the TV is. I told the staff on my way out and they took care of everything by the time I got back. Excellent location near the nightlife but you didn’t hear any noise in the room. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Great hotel with great Staff

Harper Kuta ticked all the boxes for us, it is clean, pool at the door, friendly staff, good breakfast, close to night life, and most of all the Free Wifi was really good.

An outstanding hotel which exceeded my expectations at every turn. Everything. from the airport transfers, to the room, the food & drink, and the friendly & attentive staff were terrific. A terrific hotel, recommended to all.

Decent Hotel

We booked In for 3 nights and our stay was good. Decent hotel and great rooms. Thier location was also ideal to our needs and requirements.

I can see why people like this hotel so much! Located in the heart of Kuta, you’ve got unlimited food, restaurants, bars, information at the door. The hotel staff and facilities were immaculate, room had very little noise from the lively party strip next door. I’ll definitely be coming back, thanks Harper!

The location is perfect in the middle of the nightlife of Kuta. Hence it is perfect for young couples or friends. Very accessible to numerous bars and nightclubs. It is quite close to Kuta beach as well which is fantastic. Also the room condition is great given the highly affordable price tag. Harper Kuta has all the essentials one needs while having near perfect location in Kuta. Hightly recommend it.

The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast within the hotel was simple and alright. The room was sort of clean and kinda comfy looking. The Hotel WiFi is amazing and it covered the whole lobby as well.The TV channel is boring. The toilet looks nice but the showerhead is awful. The hose beside the toilet was too weak to wash anything. The hotel massage service was alright and could have been better if not for the squeaky noise. Overall, I did enjoy the stay.

The staff was great and breakfast was delicious. The only issue I had was the air condition was slow to cool the room down..but I was only staying for one night so it didn’t effect me as much.

Overall I’m happy with it...

The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly and helpful. The rooms were average. Mould in the shower was gross, but the comfy bed made up for it. Out of 6 breakfasts only one was good the rest were below average and thank god for the egg station it saved them here. The pool was as cold as the Bintang so that was awesome too! The worst part was the noise! It was unbelievable and completely ruined our stay. The bass and music from the nightclub out the front was way too loud. The reception gave us some ear plugs but even they didn’t work and you could still hear it until 4am. They didn’t offer us a room swap until 2 nights before we left. If you ask for a room at the back of the hotel you’ll be fine as the location is amazing (apart from the nightclub out the front) Over all it’s a lovely hotel and we would stay again in a different area of the hotel.

It is near the pubs and clubs for those party-goers. Along the road, there are a number of alley shops that are conveniently located. So it is easy for you to just walk down the road and eat, and shop and etc. A very good place to stay.

Harper Kuta

When I first arrived and saw the room I was a little disappointed. The room wasn't like the picture. Definitely needs updating. They provided free toothbrushes but the package it was in was very dirty. They provide slippers, but they looked used. It could've been just my room since I did arrived very early in the morning, and that may have been the only room they had available at the time. Other than that my stay was great. The staff was very inviting and friendly. The hotel is in a great location for shopping and atms. The discovery mall and beach are about a 10-15 min walk away.

Staff was extremely friendly the minute we checked in! Was very helpful and was always at service! This hotel was perfectly located, as it was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go, it was always walking distance to the beach, the clubs, convenient stores and eateries! Would definitely stay here again!

The morning breakfast, the first room I was given was abit to close to the noise at night but they moved me into another room and everything was good. Would stay here again but choose a room closer to the pool side !

This area is near the popular clubs (as told bu the drivers). Thankfully, the hotel is not along the main road where the clubs are.. That helped in blocking out the thumping music at night. However, the fittings can be better maintained (the metal on the shower head is pealing off, the coil in the kettle was rusting). It was also noisy at night. Not sure if the noise was from the staff or other guests. Overall experience was ok (not fantastic, but not very bad either).

Very Central, could be noisy

We loved our stay in Bali, but had to face some noisy nights as the hotel is right in the middle of the nightclub areas of Kuta-Legian. The staff are great, pool is big and breakfast is 8 out of 10, just missing more fruits and alternate dishes, as they seem repetitive.

Our accommodation included breakfast, which we were excited to enjoy the next day upon check in. Well, the options served were horrible and most of the food looked as though it was sitting out for awhile. However, the staff were very friendly, which helped.

Center of Night Life

Location is unbeatable for the night life scene. Decent breakfast as well. Not directly on the street so away from the noice. You can walk to any bar or club within 5 minutes.

I thought it is a new hotel. Amenties are quite old.

Very noisy and serious traffic jam

Nice staff, but the environment is very noisy. Can hear rock music from the disco nearby and all other noisy throughout the midnight. Do not book this hotel unless you want to stay await at night and add 15 minutes to every car or taxi ride to and from the hotel due to the traffic jam. We spent more than 1.5 hour on taxi from airport to the hotel at midnight due to terrible traffic jam, which was supposed to be less than 20 minutes according to Google map.

Noisy hotel, can't sleep

I believe I was given the most noisy room in the hotel. I noted that the room number stated in my check-in form didn't match with the actual room assigned, and I don't know what happened.

I couldn't recommend enough "NOT" to stay at Haper hotel. On arrival our group 4 was shown our 2 "superior room's" and once you entered the room the musk smell was overpowering it made you catch your breath. We put it down to the aircon and not having any door or window to open at first but after scanning the room mold was found in one room on the roof in the corner of the main area and in the bathroom. The second room had mold and mildew in the bathrrom. Not impressed with this we confronted the hotel manager and it was advised that a additional payment of $30 was needed to be made to upgrade the room per night as only certan. I however found this insulting as the conditions of these two rooms provided were unsanitary and unsafe and I was not willing to pay that price but willing to come to arrangement more suitable for both parties. The hotel staff where less then cooperative and only after informing that I would be voicing my concerns on a social media platform the fee was wavered and we
