Good Hotel

This is the hotel I always stay when visiting Hong Kong to see my family. The hotel is close to a shopping mall and have many choices of food.

Fair Hotel

Everytime when I come to Hong Kong to visit my family, I will stay in this hotel. Although the hotel is dated, the price is really good deal. No complain at all.

They upgraded me to suite at 28th floor. The room is big but down side is the room is hot because it is the highest floor.

We check in at around 9:30pm, and don’t have any dining places, and the property is old, and staff not helpful

The hotel is good in term of location. Just beside the shopping mall and many of restaurants nearby. The bed is a little hard for my back!

This hotel is built in the 90’s, in room furnishings were old and dated. Found many dirts and molding in washroom, several grouting were not finished. * Excellent house keeping staff and convenience locations were the best points for this property, but next time will look at other properties instead!

Convenient and good service.

The room is aged but if you compare with the price. It is ok! There are many restaurants around the hotel. The light rail station is just outside the hotel. Very convenient!

Overall experience is good!

Bedding was clean and comfortable but everything else didn't looked clean. I cleaned all surfaces myself before use which I did not mind just for the peace of mind. Room is not very much well kept so you see signs of wear. But for the price, it considered pretty comfortable(the bed but not the pillows). The house keeping staff were especially friendly. The other hotel staff were okay. Transportation is very convenient because it is right next to the light rail station which connects to the subway so you can go everywhere. This hotel is in phase 2 with phase 1 right next to it. There are shopping malls in both phase 1 and 2. So you are literally surrounded by shopping malls. I will book again. And TinShuiWai is one of the latest developed area so they have goverment housing everywhere. There are estates after estates and everyone of them have their own shopping malls and local markets where locals buy fresh food to cook every day. That also means every one have their own locals eateries as well. I think it will take months to explore everyone of them. Overall experience is very good.

This used to be service apartments. So the room is spacious. Location is very convenient for local area access. Granted, yuen long and tin shui wai are remote suburbs, but if you need to be there, then this is your best bet. The only thing unpleasant I encountered was that my non-smoking room still smells a little tabacco - and this is after my request for a room change due to the same reason. The front desk said people must have been smoking there in violation of the smoki ban. Well, then they need to really enforce the fine such violations!

It would be good for the hotel to introduce loyalty packages.

Transportation was convenient. Close to the parks and shopping malls. A lot of restaurants near by. Overall, it was nice to stay there!! Thank you! :)

Great place to stay

The front desk staff and cleaning staff are friendly and efficient. The room is spacious without any major issues. I enjoy my stay very much.

Close to a shopping centre with super market and many shops

I never imagined that outside a few rooms of the hotel, shoes would be placed on the door, which was extremely unsanitary. Feeling bad😮‍💨

How is it that in 2021 this hotel does not offer Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi shouldn't even be an option. Also, they didn't even offer some sort of internet at an extra charge even when they advertised that on their website. I don't know how this hotel doesn't have 1 star only when it's really a 1-star hotel. Rooms are outdated and not very clean, a lot of dust around. They don't have power outlets next to the bedside tables. That’s very inconvenient. Again, the year is 2021 and a hotel room doesn't offer a way to charge your devices next to you bed. That's ridiculous. We would give this hotel 0 stars if we could but it's not possible.

A very disappointing experience. No parking services, room is extremely old, very limited choices of tv channels, smelly room.

Tower 2 is very pleasant , I believe even for a long term stay.

For one night stay only. We have been upgraded to a family room which is big.

Overall, it's my favourite hotel in HK. This is so far the spacious hotel room considered affordable for me... But somehow over the years, the rates had been increasing... If it's not because of the unrest in HK, I may not have continued staying here... One of the most taken aback thing is WiFi. WiFi is nowadays so commonly made available for guests... Even 2 stars hotel are providing WiFi nowadays but yet for this one. We hv to pay a deposit for WiFi before returning back to us. I find it absurd. This is a worrying thing for HK's tourism industry.

The facilities insider were too old and not the convenience at all

The room was supposed to be "376 sq feet (35 sq meters)" but was barely 18 sq meters. If I knew the room was that small i would NEVER have booked it. I was really CHEATED ! Very very disapointed !!, I don't think I will go in that hotel anymore (and i will not recomend it).

Room is smaller than the photo on the webpage. The shower pan is too flat to drain - water is accumulating during the shower - uncomfortable.

The area is great and you can go to so many other places.

The room is a non smoking room , the space of the room looks big enough .I choose two bed room, however the bed size too small. .

Too much dust in the rooms, I had a dust allergy and it was awful

The room was very nice with a beautiful view. It had a small kitchenette. However it had no forks not even one plate. Just the two glasses in the bathroom and 2 cups for coffee in the kitchen it was nice to have a hot water maker and two bottles of water. The beds were very hard and somewhat lumpy my roommate ended up sleeping on the couch all curled up because the mattress was so bad on the sofa. I know people in Hong Kong are not used to a Ice, but I would have appreciated a Ice which they said they had none.

Dissapointing

Stayed for 7 days it was a bit far out. No wi.fi had to pay a deposit of $1500 HK to get a modem to use in the room. The room was big for HK the bed was like sleeping on the floor they tried to make it softer by putting a blanket under the sheet , didn’t help. Pool was on 3rd floor a long way to walk their outdoor lounges need to be replaced everything is plastic and very worn. I wouldn’t say this was a four star hotel.

The location is good. Shopping mall just downstairs and you can get everything there. Nearby is the bus terminal and light railway station and you can go anywhere you want. Room is large and tidy. Staff is friendly. Overall is good.

Very nice hotel, near a shopping mall. Not near the center but convenient for us, as it has a bus stop right outside. Bus A37 goes to the airport. Very big rooms and it even had a portable wifi for us to carry around.

We stayed in two family rooms (7 guests) in Tower 1. Request to have the rooms side by side was accommodated and greatly appreciated. The outdoor pool (located in Tower 2) had a waterfall and kids (age 5,7,9) loved it. Rooms are showing a little wear and could do with a more thorough clean (a little dusty in several areas), but the stay was comfortable for 3 nights. Only complaints are we stayed on a non-smoking floor, but both rooms had strong smells of smoke; and the internet didn’t work in either rooms.

A wonderful stay at Harbour Plaza Resort City

It exceeded all expectations and was very convenient to get to. Reception was incredibly friendly, efficient and just what hospitality was all about. Definitely going back.

Great location but horrible wifi

The hotel is located right next to a mall with plenty of shopping and food options, which is good. However, the free wifi is provided via a cell phone's mobile hotspot. You can take the cell phone around the city with you which is nice since you'll always have wifi. However, the quality of the wifi is pretty bad since it's coming via the mobile hotspot.

Been staying at this hotel since 2006 due to its proximity to my mom’s home in TSW. Reasonable price for a comfortable stay. Like particularly the conveniences of all the shopping in the arcade downstairs.

Hotel is very far from city center. Transportation by bus is convenient but take a long time. MTR is not close by need to take light rail to get there. Hotel facilities are good, right next to a shopping mall, very convenient for dinning and a little shopping. Staffs are good.

The hotel pool was never open - no lifeguard available sign - whenever we tried to go for a swim!

Good and Comfortable

This is the second time I stay in this hotel. The service is great, well maintained and overall, it serve me well for my visit to China.

Just great! For me to get away from the noise, friendly and professional front desk people. Helpful. The people at the luggage always reminded me about my luggage. I just wish to afford to stay here more offended.

The only concerns were about the room comfort and amenities as follows, but they impacted my stay a lot: 1) the room was hot every time I entered, so it took 30-45 minutes to become comfortable after readjusting the air conditioner. It would have been fine if the conditioner could have lowered temperature within 10 min. 2) the bed was terrible - very hard and I felt the spring coils through the top layer, particularly as I knelt up on the bed to move around. I wondered if the matress had been removed and I was sleeping on the box springs section. 3) there was not an iron/ironing board 4) the internet was very inadequate and I ended up not being able to keep up with office work I needed to do, because it took too much time to try to get connected and then the connection was very slow. I am sorry for these critiques, but I hope things may be improved to the benefit of all. If the bed and internet could be solved, I would easily return and also recommend the hotel. The Wi-Fi was terrible, with speed slower than my data roaming service. The slow coo action ruined one of my important Skype meetings.

For the advertisement you you think the room would be up to date but my room was horrible I felt dirty using the bathroom, looks like the took everything from a dump and put it in the hotel. The drains in the bathroom were full of corrosion. The sheets had hairs in them already.

Short stay

The location is great for my stay. While it is close to all amenities, there are also some sightseeing places which you do not want to miss, and these are suitable for family or solo tour. The hotel itself is a little old, out dated furnishing and seem poor maintained.

Nice location and friendly staff

I really liked the location because of easy bus stations around the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and experienced English speaker. Even with simple problem with the room key were fixed immediately. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

It was our 4th or 5th time visiting Hong Kong, and as usual, we stayed in this hotel. We still love it. We love it spacious, and a big shopping mall around. The staff was very helpful and polite. Although it is quite far from the main city, the area is sufficient enough for shopping and dining. We also like the park next to the hotel. We had a leisure walk every morning.

Hotel room (in Tower 1) was very old and out-dated when we stayed here (Feb 2018), overall, we didn't like it. Pros: - Able to provide a crib for our baby - Room was a nice size with a small lounge and kitchenette - Located next to a little shopping mall - Had a microwave in our room, so we was able to sterilise our baby's milk bottles after use Cons: - Furniture was really worn out and aged, really needed an upgraded to give the room some life! - Wifi was not consistent, kept disconnecting - There was some stuff left in the room when we checked in that looked like rubbish that needed to be thrown away, but it wasn't, so we had to do it ourselves

Harbour Plaza Resort City. My personal thoughts!!!

Pleasant stay at this hotel. But like everything, it has good and bad points. Personally, I would rate this hotel, 4 out of 5 stars. Just a couple of things that need improving.

Great resort

Ideal location if you want peace and quiet. Close to local transport and shopping mall. Easy to get from the airport. Hope on to A37 from klia2 which stops outside the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. Had a great stay.

Reason serviced appartment type hotel

Serviced appartment type hotel so had the added benefit of having a kitchen. The room was a bit tired and dated however I can't complain too much given the price. The hotel is located near a tram stop and shopping mall so it is convenient. What isn't so convenient is heading into kowloon as it does take some time. Wifi was good and stable. The over the shower bath was great and also there was a selection of much welcome toiletries

The hotel was very nice with a very big room for the price paid. Very. Comfortable and clean room. The only downside is the location as it is very far from main tourist areas. And also the swimming pool was not open which was a disappointment.

Great value for money.

Great hotel for a 1 night stay in Yuen Long. Clean room, nice breakfast, however, this hotel does not provide room service. This is the only downside. Other than that its fantastic value for money.

Excellent views and location

We loved the hotel and were impressed by the views from the 16th floor. The hotel is located just beside a mall with restaurants, supermarket, etc., and also next to a beautiful park. This is a value find for Hong Kong, where hotels of this caliber are usually 2x or 3x as expensive. There is also a bus station within easy walking distance, which has a bus to the airport that is less than half the price of the shuttle offered by the hotel and much cheaper than taking a taxi. Also, if you stay here be sure to visit the Hong Kong Wetland Park just up the road. It's a real gem, especially for birdwatchers.

Good for business travel

Rooms were exceptionally large for hong kong standards. The only drawback is its distance for the city. If you're in the vicinity for work, this hotel is a good choice!

Delightful stay at Harbour Plaza Resort City

This was our second time at HPRC. Very nice room with essentially a full kitchen. The beds are very firm, which we like but some may not. The staff are very helpful. It is well worth buying the breakfast buffet ahead of time. It is a mixture of a western style brunch (complete with omelet station) and some traditional Chinese dishes. At $8 USD a person, it is a deal. There is a light rail station (Ginza) just in front of the hotel, only 3 stops away from the TSW station on the West Rail Line.

A good hotel but a little faded. Marvellous art deco in rooms. An alternative to Kowloon and HK Island but without the attractions, taking about the same time to get there from HK International Airport

Nice hotel at affordable rate for the area. A little far from the Hong Kong highlights but transportation is nearby and easy to use/
