Clean modern hotel with excellent service. Paid for premium room upgrade which had fantastic views over the harbour. Highly recommend.
Is an empty room .all supplies are low quality and limited. If you need anything, you have to pay for.
Excellent harbour view and accessible to nearby amenities. Friendly and helpful staff.
.
It’s beautiful
The standard of the front desk and bell staffs maintain an excellent standard. The harbor view of the room was very nice, although the sound period was a bit poor. We could hear the sound from the adjacent room.
Ok
They need a bar
A Hong Kong delight
It was a beautiful modern hotel. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were quite impressive. If you book directly with the hotel, your breakfast is included. Unfortunately, not included with Hotels.com. senior discount made the buffet $20/pp at the hotel. Well worth it. I would happily stay there again. Within walking distance to restaurants, incredible grocery store shops and subway station.
Just fantastic,The Harbour Grill the food and service were amazing
Near mtr station, beautiful view of the waterfront, we would definitely come back 😊
no free water bottle provided, no toothbrush and soap provided and the toothbrush need to buy can get it.
Was surprised they charged for amenities 😅 do understand most hotels doesn’t provide in the room. But, they will provide for free when requested
A week in Kowloon
Fantastic hotel. We stayed in an executive suite and had use of the exec lounge for breakfast and also comp afternoon tea and evening drinks. Really easy to use the MTR to get around as station about 300m away! Slow check in however and would be good if they could provide a means to refill water bottles/flasks as water is no longer provided in rooms. Would recommend though.
Nice hotel and location
Wonderful place to stay.
Needs to have more staffs to check in. There are so many people waiting for the check in. Only 3 staffs were working for the check in.
Very nice Harbour walk, room cabinet needs some fixing due to age, squeezing noise
Overall this hotel is very nice and priced right and in a comfortable location. Will definitely consider in the future
The staff (man) she was very helpful and professionalism, the first two nights room had some issues1)the sink was not drained as supposedly and 2) the A/C unit was noisy, once addressed to her and we were able to switch to a upgraded room, so we extended our stay 6 more days, also our house keeper is a top notch performance . However during the evening, the first floor of the buffet area was crowded and noisy , one night was approximately 200 people rushed to get in?as a five star hotel there should be some room of improvement to correct this.
Lovely location, nice rooms
The view to the harbor was amazing!
剛到步去check-in房間就有一個非常不愉快的體驗,前台說我們沒有禮貌沒有排隊,但明明就是門口的職員叫我們在那處等候的,只是他們的指引不夠清晰,還怪我們,給我們臉色看
The place is very nice and so beautiful the views.
The Buffett is better early. The rooms were stuffy and spotty WiFi.
View is good. Always very busy and crowded.
It is a very nice hotel, located in a very convenient area to walk. They don't have amenities in the room, and you must buy everything, even water!
A good hideout from tourist places
Good location on the harbour. Less than 3 minutes walk to MTR. Great walking corridor to TST. Lots of local restaurants available.
No free bottle water .
Excellent location
The room is excellent. The view is unbeatable. We stayed 5 days in the 20th floor and had the harbour view all by ourselves. One must go up to the roof top to see the whole harbour. Minor change should be provide water bottles to the guests. The location is perfect, 7 minutes walk from Whampoa D2 MTR exit.
The gym is very very basic, no rowing machine as shown in their photos. Miss represented. No in room water, bathroom accessories or coffee machine. The slippers and robe are very cheap. This hotel prevailed luxury accommodation, but it’s far from this, and they have stopped the shuttle too! the managers are very unhelpful with making this better. Sandy in the restaurant is incredible, I moved to Shangri la for similar money, which felt like you would hope an Asian luxury accommodation would!
Beautiful hotel along the waterfront. Easy access to MTR. There was an odd odour in the hallway on the 20th floir but not in the room
the view is excellent, and i like their buffet restaurant too.
Queenie was amazing she was so friendly and went out of her way to help us. This was a nice area quieter, but still many things to do near
1. House keeping dept had delayed washing our laundry. it took a long period to locate and receive our washed laundry. Hotel receptionists and the house keeping staff do not have appropriate communication among themselves and caused many misunderstanding issues during our stay. 2, Bath tower have black stain on it.
Room was clean with an excellent view. Bed was very hard. Bathroom has full size window to bed with only light blind for privacy, so if the light is turned on during the night, the bedroom light up as well. Pool and Spa are not heated, so can only be used in extreamly hot days.
Not good for business but if tourist great location and views. Pool pretty good. Bar area outside it’s like brits in Blackpool but Chinese from mainland on the lash.
Excellent hotel for a HK stay. Nice, clean, safe neighbourhood. Several cafés, restaurants & shops locally, MTR station a few minutes' walk away. About 45 minutes' walk to Tsim Sha Tsui. The Bayside Cafe next door is a superb spot for outdoor dining, with a great view over the harbour.
couple of issues: 1. room temperature control doesn’t work properly. can’t turn down the temperature, we’d to turn off the air for the night. 2. the air conditioning unit is kind of noisy. otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel to stay and the staff are polite and friendly
The only thing we did not like was the checking... staff was busy with the checkouts and did not bother offering us nay options as we arrived early. They were quite rude, telling us a number of times... check in 3 pm.
Loved the hotel but the breakfast was awful. This made us rethink our return stay and have booked else where.
Good
The wait for check-in was awful. I waited in line for 50 minutes, and it only took 3 minutes to check, so why did other customers take 20-30 minutes to check in. Then there was wifi but no internet service in the room?
Nice view from swimming pool.
Great location for exploring Whampoa & access to public transport
Best view
Close to many restaurants
I have stayed at this hotel over 20 years and enjoyed very much. Recently overall experience has deteriorated, very long check-in, room smells, AC not working well, very crowded lobby. Used to be 4-5 stars but now 3 stars at best.
Good
Location is good and convenience.
A PALATIAL HOTEL
The hotel was extremely comfortable and has an amazing lobby area and restaurants. The scenery around the hotel is wonderful, and there is a great view of Hong Kong's beautiful Victoria Harbour. The room service is great and the hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops and shopping malls.
Thanks for the upgrade. Nice view of the east side of the harbour.
Housekeeping Staff all very polite and clean. Concierge gave wrong information after asking two separate times regarding Stanley Markets,we were told both times that they closest 11pm. We took taxi up there from hotel about 50 minutes drive arrived at 5.30pm and no markets on. The locals all said finish 6pm. We spent $500 for taxi there and back and when we told them we had no apology only said he would let his staff know which didn’t help us losing those hours and $500. Not happy with that older guy at all and and no apology!!!
What I expected for the money. Views of Victoria Harbour. Stunning.

Grear views
Family holiday
Lovely modern hotel with great waterfront location. Hotel pool and sun deck great with amazing views over Hong Kong. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. Coffee shops and bakeries nearby if on a room only basis. Great location for getting out and about and metro within walking distance.
Excellent and clean hotel , best location
Gorgeous views and an excellent pool! I look forward to coming back here and enjoying more time.
Okay hotel, nice room
Have stayed many times over 10 years + in this hotel and sister hotel. Staff was very slow on reception desk. Booked a club room and was told it included breakfast but in the morning was told it wasn’t included so had to pay for the breakfast. Double check everything!
Friendly and professional staff. Great location.
I thought they provided me the right accommodations. They did not. It's ok. It's all settled anyway.
It was good
Too many smokers on the fringe of the hotel making encounters with their smoke unavoidable. Hotel buffet is good. Swimming pool has a great view, but not a lap pool for workouts. Gym doesn't have up-to-date gym equivalent. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would try a different hotel next time!
Queues, Queues, Queues!
I very rarely give negative reviews of hotels, but this one fell at the very first step. On arrival you will be greeted by a long queue for check in - I waited 40 minutes to check in, which you really do not want after a 12 hour flight. Despite there being 10 check-in desks, at times there was only one member of staff (although there were lots of other staff members wandering around with no apparent purpose). This was no one-off - the queues were there consistently for my entire stay. I was advised by the staff not to charge anything to my room, otherwise I'd need to queue to check out as well. I also saw queues for breakfast and dinner too. The hotel is clearly understaffed and for a supposedly 5 star hotel this simply isn't acceptable.
The housekeeping staff, May, was very nice and helpful - she's awesome! It's our second time staying there for a quite long stay of 10 nights this time. Location is great.
The rooms are spacious. The furniture is good. The view of the harbor is very nice. The staff is accommodating.
My room had a beautiful panoramic view of the harbor
Unpleasant Stay: Subpar Service and Complimentary
I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Harbour Grand Kowloon Hotel, and I must say that it fell far short of my expectations for a 5-star establishment. One particular issue that stood out was the suspension of complimentary bottled water in the hotel, which the management justified as an effort to minimize plastic bottle usage for environmental reasons. While I understand the importance of sustainability, it was disappointing to learn that they had ceased providing complimentary bottled water without any prior notification to guests. This lack of communication is not befitting a hotel of their caliber. Moreover, when I raised my concerns, their response suggested that I use the tap water and boil it using the in-room kettle, which is not the level of service one would expect from a 5-star hotel. The reply I received from the management further emphasized their stance on charging for water and their intention to go green. However, their approach seemed to prioritize cost-cutting measures over guest satisfaction and convenience. It is disheartening to see a hotel of this stature compromise on essential amenities and fail to meet the expectations of their guests. In light of my experience, I cannot recommend Harbour Grand Kowloon Hotel to fellow travelers seeking a true 5-star experience. It is important for hotels to find a balance between sustainability initiatives and maintaining the service standards that guests expect from a luxury establishment.
Excellent hotel, fantastic staff
I took too long to check-in.
The major issue is check-in. It took us more than 30 mins to check in. Whilst the staff were apologetic about the issue, it’s really bad as they just line you up like an attraction at Disneyland. You’re a captive and can’t choose to not lineup.
Stay here was fantastic. I got upgraded to a suite room which came with a king bed and a queen sofa bed and two full bath. Clean, bright, many restaurants and shopping close by. MTR is about 7 mins walk, 2 blocks from hotel. Definitely stay here again. Taxi was about $250 from airport.
Great hotel and location
Extremely happy with our stay. We had a great view but unfortunately the weather prevented us from fully enjoying it.
Good price for such nice big room
Closed to water and scenery is beautiful
great view
Great view
Nice quiet safe area with super convenient transportation
Value for your money 😆
Over all satisfaction excellent
Good hotel. Just their bathroom is not perfect. The edge of the tub is like one foot wide. It is not easy and can be dangerous to get in and out when slippery. And there isn’t enough hooks for 2 towels and clothes.
Bunch of morons
The staff were courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job in our room each day. We had a late evening flight, but checked out the morning and the hotel was accommodating in holding our luggage until we departed for the airport. Hope to stay here again.
Clean and confortable. The harbor view is nice. The living room of the harbor view suite is ok, but the bedroom and bathroom are small, not like a suite level.
Pay for the Harbour-view room
We chose a harbour-view room and even though there were many days with fog, we very much enjoyed looking at our view. The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of Whampoa and Hung Mon.
Really nice hotel, no complaints at all. Room service food was fine, but not great, specially considering the meaning great alternatives around the area. Pool was closed due to weather, so can’t judge that.
Nice Comfortable Room but Average Customer Service
Overall we have a pleasant stay. Room is comfortable and location of the hotel is convenient. Close to MTR and lots of shops and restaurants around. Pity the service of the hotel isn’t up to standard of such a nice hotel. Have to wait long time for checkin and there seem not enough staffs on duty for such a big hotel. Staffs also not appear to be professional in their work. The girl serving us, who didn’t even give us a welcome greet, kept chatting with the girl next to her who was serving other guests which we found quite unprofessional and rude. However we will still be happy to stay in this hotel again because of its location and comfortable room. We do hope the customer service of the hotel can improve in future.
Excellent stay at Harbour Grand
Really excellent hotel. Staff friendly and attentive.
Fantastic views
Excellent customer service.
The property was nice, comfortable and we had a great view from our room but the bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked and we did find a used bottle of KY that had been left behind. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the pool and we should have been told on booking that the pool and spa would be out for annual maintenance
整體算起來都合格
We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. Super convenient with all the restaurants around the area, and MTR station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
Whilst this hotel is rated as 5 star. I clearly paid for the view only. The room lacked those 5 star extras one expects of a 5 star hotel, e.g it had pump bottle body wash and shampoo on wall. However the food at both restaurants was excellent and service provided by all hotel staff was impeccable.
Good Harbourview. Can see New year fireworks
From my room took picture nice view
Staff quality
The staff is not professional. The greeting front desk personnel is not very polite and not quite willing to assist... then my shoulder was hit badly by the elevator doors.. complain to the front desk... all they did is offering me ice.....
Stunning location. Lovely good sized rooms

Would have preferred a double bed as the default and then had a choice of a single bed. Overall our experience was great. The rooms were pristine clean.
