The room was dated, old and dirty, old NASTY air contioner, chairs were old musty and tv was old only had scrabbled vietnamese channels......what tipped it over the top is when i found a pubic hair on my pillow, when i went downstairs to see if i could get another room, the guy didnt seem to make a big deal about it, i went downstairs next morning and told girl i was checking out, i showedher pictures a d she shugged her shoulders, i left for a better hotel. I hope i can get a refund for the 4 nights i didnt stay HORRIBLE place
Hard to locate. Property has two names. Seem to be attempting to upgrade but a work in progress. Breakfast was a 3 or 4 minute walk away and was poor at best.
Good hotel and great service
I really loved it.
Nice little hotel and convenient location. We had a miscommunication with our taxi pick up but the hotel made up for it with a upgrade to a bigger room. The receptionist was friendly and always willing to help.
A poorly managed dirty & below standard hotel
We booked 3 nights online through Hotels.com at Hanoi Vision Boutique Hotel. When we arrived at the hotel to check in on December 25, 2023 the receptionist told us that they are shifting us to another hotel named Vision Premier Hotel and walked us for about 15 minutes with all the luggages and our children to that hotel. They put us to room 801 at the 8th floor but the elevator runs until 6th floor. This is a very old, dirty and dilapidated hotel and the total service is below standard and nothing similar or closer to the advertised hotel and the pictures at Hotels.com The room had sewer smell and it felt like we were sleeping in a toilet. We complained and the owner’s daughter came in and sent a technician to fix the issue but they couldn’t solve the problem. Then they moved us to a smaller room with one double bed and one single bed for the four of us. Although we paid for two double beds. The breakfast is very basic and sub-standard. We saw a spider in the breakfast area and the door of the breakfast area faces a busy street, a hospital and mostly they kept it open which allowed dusts to enter in. The utensils were also not fully cleaned. Only good thing about the hotel is the location ( located in the Haon Kiem Area) and the friendly-helpful staff.
The location is exellent.
No NO NOOOOO!!!
The location is fantastic, right next to St Joseph’s Cathedral. We were able to walk to all of the Hanoi sights from here. The hotel is amazingly quiet and peaceful inside, considering how close it is to all of the action. We booked the executive room for our family of 4 and it suited us very well. 2 queen size beds seperated by the bathroom in between. Great little balcony too with a fabulous side view of the cathedral. Highly recommend for an affordable hotel right in the thick of it.
Great location and very friendly snd helpful staff Great are to explore Hanoi very close to the cathedral 😊
Great spot with decent rooms and service in a fantastic location - old quarter, hoan kiem easily accessible on foot. It's certainly not luxury but for the price is excellent value for money. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable/old but otherwise cannot fault.
The location is excellent to access to sightseeing and shopping as well as restaurants. Lily was experienced staff for information about Hanoi.
Staff was super helpful and nice. Property on the other hand was outdated. Our room was not clean, bathroom was gross and just not it. We only stayed one night then left to another hotel. Location is good.
4.9
It’s value for your money. The staff nice, helpful and friendly. Hotel is in good location. I would like to come back again.
A budget hotel - small, a bit outdated - in the center of the Old quarter. The location is very convenient and safe, but my bathroom was quite cramped, the water pressure - a bit low, and the room had an extremely old loud air conditioning unit.
Excellent location but it was the staff that nade it so special. Ling and Hao in particular, went out of their way to help me and make stay more enjoyable.
This hotel is on a relatively small quiet street and it is in a greet location. We had some very quiet sleeps. The owners are struggling to maintain the hotel.
Wonderful hotel In the old quarter and within walking distance to all the sights. Check in was easy and the room was lovely. Basic, but everything you need. The front desk can also arrange tours and airport transfers. Definitely recommend:)
The staff was really kind and courteous, definitely go out of their way to take care of you. Expedia had a booking error so no rooms were available when I showed up, but they were very efficient in addressing the issue-- transporting me to another hotel nearby and upgrading me to a deluxe room the next night. Very centrally located, convenient for exploring Old Quarter on foot.
If it wasn’t for the hotel from desk clerk Daisy, I would have all mad faces. Good: Daisy’s customer service. She helped us with EVERYTHING. Our entire party of 6 AND family members who came to see us. She helped with everything we asked for. Thank goodness she knew English. The pho in the morning is good. Everything thing else in the morning is okay. Lots of fruit options. Right in the middle of Old Town Hanoi. If you are looking to stay in old town (I wouldn’t again). Bad: Don’t let the photos fool you. If it were America, it would be a 2-3/4 star hotel. This may have changed but when I booked the hotel 12/2019, this hotel had a 4 star rating. The rooms are not nice. Stains on the wall. No good views. The shower is the most annoying thing in the rooms. LEAKS. I had three rooms. All leaked puddles. Dirty wet floor is just gross. Beds not comfortable. MICE running around. Buffet of breakfast food is TINY and the seating area is TINY. The night crew....they shouldn't even get paid. The location is an inconvenience when you’re trying to get dropped off and picked up with all your luggage. Vehicles do not fit on the street. So you have to get dropped off a block away. I would not stay here again.
Nice Hotel
Nice, cosy and clean room. Walking distance to night market, places and foods. Receptionist Daisy is so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the day trip to Bai Dinh-Trang An-Mua Cave arranged by Daisy. Location is great as all tour arrangements can pick us up at the hotel lobby including airport transfer.
Decent quiet boutique hotel in Hanoi. It’s a nice escape from the noisy streets. The staff are wonderful and helped us decide how to spend our 2 days. Breakfast was ok. Rooms are small but functional. Overall very clean. Very small hotel and no lounge areas except the breakfast tables downstairs, which was fine for us
Staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, speak English and nice. Great location with lots of food options around there. It’s within walking distance from the famous lake in Hanoi, church, night market and drinking street. They give u a nice breakfast. Wifi is good. The only downfall is that it’s hidden so you can’t drive right to the front door and need to go in a alley. (No cars) but it’s kind of cool because in the alleys there’s lots of foods. BUT honestly it’s nice little break from the busy roads of Hanoi. I would highly recommend staying here and would come back.
When you think a good deal is too good to be true...it probably is. I booked here based on the good price and positive reviews, but had a very different experience. There is no way this is a 3-star hotel. I'll start with the good things: the staff were very professional and accommodating. The breakfast was ok. The location is great. Cheap for a private room. The downside: My first room had a toilet that sprayed water everywhere when the plumbing was used in another room, the air conditioner didn't work, the sheets were old and stained, there was no real window, and there were these weird leaf/snail bugs on the wall. Also the nice reading lights attached next to the bed droop down and therefore are useless. After the first night I asked to change rooms, and the staff was very accommodating. However the second room was worse. The sheets were still stained, the bed coils pushed through for an unexpected "massage," and there was mold all over the ceiling in the shower. The leaf bugs followed me there. The window was a prison-like shoe box. I slept on top of the bedspread. But the air conditioner worked!
We paid to stay at this specific hotel, they moved us to 2 different hotels, and didn’t tell us why. We never got the room we paid for, took us about 2 hours before we were in a room, and we still don’t know why this happened.
Close proximity to shops, walkways and transport. Safe and friendly evironment.
LOVED this place!
Vision boutique is so conveniently located. The staff is lovely. We stayed two places in Hanoi and this was definitely our favorite. It’s in an alley that gives you a local flavor for sure and everything walking distance in old quarter. Good internet ✅ We didn’t book any tours at the hotel as their prices were more expensive than the other booking companies on the street. They will nearly beg you to buy from them though. A+ hotel though with a solid and delicious breakfast.
Happy to stay here!
Good location, friendly staffs, good breakfast, good sdrvices!
The hotel is really good with really friendly staff, who help with all requests and we’ll organised tours to Halong Bay. Clean rooms with fresh sheets and good shower.Good breakfast. Good location.
The staff here is excellent, and very customer focused. They have helped me with many things and are very accommodating.
Very good hotel in Hanoi old town
I love our stay in this hotel. Highly recommend.
Staff are very accommodating and helpful at all times in giving directions and suggestions about places to visit.
My time at this property qas all that qas expected of this property and staff. Everybody was very accomodating and the foom was clean and comfortable
Everything was great
Good hotel in good location. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. They made our stay very pleasant. Definitely will recommend friends to stay here.
Comfortable place to stay
Located at Hanoi Old quarter, walking distance to the lake. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good with lots of options. A great value for what you pay.
Value for the money
Enjoyed my stay, staff performance was excellent, would recommend to all my friends.
Great location
Central location, clean hotel with very attentive staff and friendly staff.
Excellent Hotel in hanoi old quarter
Excellent hotel in old town. Quiet, Friendly Staff and good location.
Great room, location, and staff
The rooms are ultra clean, modern and the beds are extremely comfy. The best bit about the hotel is the staff as they are so friendly and helpful. They helped us book up a trip to halong bay which was great. Breakfast was good as well. Could not fault the hotel for the price.
Convenient location and friendly staff
Nice and clean room, very friendly and helpful staff and a central location. The room smells good and looks like in the pics. The bed is very comfortable. Highly recommended!
Enjoy the service
I had a really good stay, especially because of the staff that really made me feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was really good for this price. The staff are very friendly, they will help you with everything you need from places to eat and visit, to money exchange, travel tours, etc. I really enjoyed my time here.
Simply bad
Reception just hand us the key and no one guided to the room. bellboy looked so disinterested in carrying our just one carry on luggage until receptionist signaled him to help us. Worse of all aircondition didn’t work. I asked for help and two guys came in and did a few tweaking. Then he said it is fine and working. But it did not. I called again and they said it would be fine in ten minutes. We kept waiting and later found out it was not functioning properly. Finally stuff offered us a fan.
Terrible Hotel
This hotel had flaking paint, mould and chipped tiles in the "superior room', all of which I would have put up with. However the exploding light in the bathroom, which shattered all over our daughter, and lack of acknowlegment that it was an issue pushed us to move to a different hotel as we did not feel safe. Hotel were unwilling to discuss any refund. Would not recommend.
Adequate for the rate paid
The workers were helpful and the food served for the breakfast was adequate. The cleanliness was less than desired and the shower door doesn’t stay closed on its own.
Did room I receive had no windows, broken AC , Bathroom it’s so small you hardly can use it.
Great Stay in Church Vision Hotel
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you very much to all the staff. Will stay here again when we come back to Hanoi.
Very good hotel
I have good staying. I be back again.
Great location,clean & very friendly,helpful staff
We are very enjoy to stay at this hotel, we will come and stay in this hotel again for our next visit.
Beware
I had to keep the sink drain closed otherwise my room smelled of sewer gas. I’m not sure if it was because I was the very to room , but there was definitely an issue. Breakfast was quick and tasty but I found the excursion staff far too eager , almost pushy so I booked through someone else. I am glad that I did because the hotel also took great advantage of me on a currency conversion. I won’t be recommending it or staying there again.
Outstanding!
Our stay turned out to be two week long... We loved our hotel. The location, price and support from the staff was perfect!
Just okay
It was just okay. The beds springs were coming through, the aircon was broken and they brought a fan but it was very damp in there and the air pulls out the moisture, the breakfast was so so but the people were nice. I was only there for one night and would not have stayed longer.
Convenient location & friendly staff
Overall, it's a great little hotel. The staff are nice, the breakfasts are ok, the rooms are decent. You're not paying for the Ritz, so don't expect that, but the rooms are still nice, clean and the bed's comfortable. Wifi was also fine. I work online, and it was sufficient for my needs. The location is perfect too. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
Poor Service
Awful service. Staff did not listen or attempt to understand me at check in, i repeatedly asked for a taxi to be booked for airport at 7.30am and eventually she seemed to understand. The next morning when I went to the desk to confirm, they had booked it for far later and tried to blame us and say we were changing our minds. I noticed a lot of customers being pushed around by the woman receptionist, she was very agressive and telling people to hurry up etc. Not enough room for everyone at breakfast either, people were turned away and told to wait regardless of them being up early for a trip or a taxi. Great location and ok rooms but I would not return nor recommend solely because of the woman receptionist, i wish I had caught her name
Everything was awesome from the hotel, staffs, service, room and everything. Good location. The staff Mr Peter. He is excellent. He spent the time and explain to me everything in detail because I only stay for 2 nights.
The hotel was well located in the busy hanoi. Breakfast is basic but is good enough for a quick breakfast.
Good hotel in the Old Quarter so was conveniently located to everything. It is right amongst it all but the rooms are surprisingly quiet. Very clean.
Value for money. Efficiently run hotel by friendly staff. Ideal location.
Located at Hanoi Old quarter, walking distance to the lake. Staffs are very friendly in providing information and how to go around.
Cozy Tidy and Good
The Hotel was nice cozy and tidy. The service was superb specially the breakfast.
near to many places
forgot to bring belonging when leave hotel for airport, the staffs inform me immediately.
Tours from this hotel not worth the money.
Good/Ok thing: - Good location in the old center - Nice staff - Ok breakfast Bad thing: - Room a bit outdated and not super clean. - Tours offered by the hotel are not worth the money.I booked some luxury tours from the local agent in the hotel as I wanted to get the best experience for my Mom and I. According to the agent, the luxury tours were including better transportation/hotel and smaller group people. It was clearly a good selling point for me as I wanted to get the best for my Mom. During the first tour, I found out that the "Deluxe" package was BS. I clearly overpaid the tour by 30% compared to the other people. The other people didn't book the luxury package and had the same service than us (Mom and myself). Overall, the package offered by the hotel for the tours and taxi rides was clearly not a good deal. You should better book the tours with the local office near the hotel, they have good discounts. Moreover, if you pay by visa in US dollars, not only they will apply 3% for using the visa (like most of the hotels) but also they will convert the Viet Dong currency in USD with not a good rate. I lost an extra $30 due to the currency change. I could have paid in Viet Dong as I have no fees for withdrawing money in a foreign currency. To conclude, I feel I got ripped off and I obviously do not recommend to stay in this hotel.
Terrible, stay away. Consider yourself warned
While booking, we saw few bad reviews but most were positive. My partner told me it's not possible for it to be bad if there are so many positive reviews. Boy, were we shocked. We checked out immediately, spent lots of money on the phone with Expedia trying to make the cancellation and get refund, and had a very upsetting experience. See the photos for yourself. They cannot possible think anyone would want to live in this room. There was a broken door hinge, dust under the curtains, a hanging wire, mould on the wall, the list goes on. The hotel personnel's last words to us upon showing us the room was "please make sure to check that your room door is really locked before leaving...". Oh my god, the safe deposit box would not work (and then they give you the master key because the keypads don't work), and the last straw was the smell of grease coming from the opposite building, because the windows did not shut properly. Please enjoy the photos!
Tired hotel in central location
Central location in old quarter, close to cathedral so there is a lot of street noise and church bells ringing throughout the day and night. Hotel very tired and the standard of cleaning is not high, we had ants in our room although staff quick to spray the room.
On lane way close to the cathedral;
Satisfactory! ! Toilet cleanliness needs more attention
Location in hanoi old quarter. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel is quite new. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel for hanoi
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Location is very good.
good hotel
thanks Peter so much.
Family Hotel
We stayed 5 nights. The location is good in the old quarter, 5 minutes walk from the lake. Close to many eating, shopping . Our room was comfortable, lots of hot water, refrigerator, good wifi and TV. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good with lots of options. Peter Hotel manager especially took care of all our needs. He even got us a really good tour to Halong Bay as well as Sapa. I highly recommend this place as I am more than impressed and I'm sure you will too. Will highly recommend.
Nice Hotel
We are happy to stay in your hotel. I will come back. Thanks
Friendly staff and great location of the hotel.
We had a great stay here in this nice hotel. Well situated near business center. The Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. Room also clean and good. Recommended this hotel.
Good place to stay
Good hotel in hanoi. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Hotel is centrally located with easy access to sights of Hanoi.
Great location and staff is extremely friendly
Location was excellent as it was inside Old Quarter. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff really made a big difference.
Perfect location. close to the cathedral - which also means cafes, street food and restaurants. it is in a small, narrow street – so there’s not much traffic. staff was smiling and helpful,.room was huge and had all amenities you need.
When I get there I had no room
I arrived to the hotel at 3pm and they told me there was no room for me. So they sent to an other hotel where I was supposed to wait until 8 pm to see if someone leave a room. I was so tired and needed to have a shower and a nap so I decided to ask for my money back and go and find an other hotel by myself.
Best breakfast yogurt in Hanoi
We had yogurt for breakfast everyday! It’s the best yogurt I ever had! My friends and I ordered one each.
The location of the hotel is great.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and has few choices. The hotel staff offer good ground tours and patiently explain the places of interest and the reason for the different in the prices of many travel agents. Due to our extended stay, the hotel staff offered to help us to find hotel. We plan for free and easy holiday and the staff gave good directions on how to move around: walking around and how far is the distance and advise us to take taxi. The staff wrote the names of the places in their language for the taxi driver as most of them don't really speak English. The taxi drivers are friendly and we are asked to tell them to use meter for every drive. I am not a person who eat street food but I found that the street food is nice. Though we may not speak their language but the stall keeper tried to explain to us what are the food that they offer. Egg coffee is unique and is quite popular in Hanoi. I best to arrive on Friday as the night market is opened only on weekends: Friday to Sunday. The nearby lake is full of activities during the weekends.
Badly maintained, helpful staff
The staff tries their best, but the hotel and rooms are in bad shape, with stained walls, old furniture and dirty-looking curtains. the surroundings are quite noisy and the windows don't close properly. The breakfast is good (a la carte) with options for both Western and Asian tastes.
Great location in Old Quarter.
The staff are sensational and bend over backwards to ensure the best experience, not only in Hanoi, but for your whole trip. Peter reorganised our schedule to avoid down-time in Ha Long Bay, booked Sapa and recommended private local driver, booked all our travel down to Nha Trang. Took us to the train and seated us. Put his number in our phone for any problems. The others just as caring. Only downside was the beds - old and hard, but we went out and back from there 3 times!
Convenient location and very helpful staff
Very nice hotel with helpful staff . Great location , near many restaurants. They helped us with our trip to Halong Bay and Tam Coc pagoda. Breakfast was good a nice spread my wife and I enjoyed our stay wish we stayed longer.
Clean room, friendly staff. Its good value for money.
Excellent Hotel to stay in Hanoi old quarter. They can organize perfect transfers to the airport at any time, tours around town with English speaking guide. Rooms were standard but extremely clean.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast to start your day. Highly recommend this place.
Excellent value for money. Great breakfast and great location
Good location and helpful staff
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of hotel is near St. Joseph's Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. The room was compact and bathroom was not comfortable. Wifi didn't worked well in the room.
Mediocre
The room condition was not so good - windows didn’t fully close making it even louder than it jeeeed to be, walls had water marks near the bottom. Bathroom was incredibly cramped. Overall it just didn’t look like the photos in the listing and wasn’t as nice as I expected.
Clean. Good location. Good price. Friendly & helpful staffs!
Lovely staff great location
This hotel is in a great location, the staff are really accommodating. I would recommend this place.
The staff were amazing - going above and beyond the call of duty. Breakfast was great, and the staff were extremely helpful when organizing trips (even escorting us directly to the train station themselves). The room was not amazing, but definitely comfortable and inviting. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much Peter!
friendly staff
the picture of the room was different from the room we booked. the toilet was clogged and noisy when you flush.the staff was very good most especially zui and yuan.
Amazing place to stay
Great hotel in the heart of Hanoi. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and new, the location is very near Hoan Kiem Lake and night market so can walk shortly there. A lot of choice for breakfast. They can also book trips to HaLong Bay, train and bus tickets or trips to sapa etc... I would highly recommend this hotel.
Attentive staff
Right in the middle of the Hanoi Old Quarter area and its just around 5 minutes walk from the Hoan Kiem Lake. The room so comfortable, clean and the staff were so helpful. The breakfast was nice. I would recommend.
The hotel was clean and the beds were huge and comfortable. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were happy to store my luggage while I was out doing side trips. Some for over a week. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Would stay again
We stayed there 5 nights and we were very satisfied with everything. We are coming back to this hotel when we are back in Hanoi again. Thanks Anna
Best hotel in the area
Hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Would definitely stay there again.
Excellent staff, great location, value for money.
Excellent hotel. The staff could not do enough to make sure we were comfortable and assisted us with everything from helpful tour tips to where to get coconut water.
Quite good and happy to stay
Friendly staff, Good hotel facility, center of the old quarter.
Excellent value for money. great breakfast.
will stay next time

Great room for price
Room was great for price, the only complaint was a lumpy pillow..
