Friendly and helpful staff.

I had some nervousness around booking in Hanoi. As the first stop on my Vietnam trip, plus traveling with my mother, it felt like a choice with consequence. It seemed like reviews of every single hotel said the guest had been strong-armed into leaving 5 stars. I went with my gut choosing Peridot and couldn't be happier! Also, while i was asked politely to leave a review it was with zero pressure, and I was not asked to do it while staff watched. And I am DELIGHTED to review this place because they have been outstanding. From the seamless airport pickup to the sparkling clean rooms to the delicious breakfast, everything you could want a hotel to be, it has been. The staff are so helpful and friendly, it's been a pleasure to interact with each one. I've had several WhatsApp exchanges to discuss various arrangements or questions, and they respond quickly and thoroughly. My mother unfortunately got quite sick right after we arrived, and everyone was very kind and accommodating. They also provided was excellent travel planning help for day trips and moving on. Great location: Easy walk to the heart of the Old Quarter, loads of businesses within a block, quiet as I think Hanoi gets - which is not very, but the din is removed enough that it's almost soothing. The property is gorgeous - photos are accurate. Hot water is hot, there's good water pressure, super nice beds, blackout curtains etc. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good with plenty of options for vegetarians and as a vegan I managed to eat ok. The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter. The rooftop restaurant and bar are really nice. We had Christmas eve dinner there and it was really nice. They had vegan options for every course. Tracy was very helpful and booked us a trip to Ninh Binh and our flights to Hue. A big thank you to all the staff here who made it a really pleasant stay for us.

Great stay. Staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel is clean and well kept. The rooms are a little bit on the smaller side but other than that a fantastic stay. Hotel is centrally located and can walk to everywhere in the old quarter within 15 minutes. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, and our family really enjoyed the connecting rooms. Tracy went above and beyond to plan excursions for us. The breakfast and top floors are spectacular.

We initially booked for two nights but decided to stay for only one. Despite a recent renovation, the hotel felt run-down. When we entered the room, it had a terrible, nauseating odor. The room was tiny, and the persistent smell made me feel sick. It was so bad that we had to book a room at another hotel the next day. Additionally, the hotel staff made us uncomfortable. They reached out to me on WhatsApp even before we checked in and continued to bother me during our stay.

Excellent staff! Incredible breakfast with authentic pho! Lovely local fruits! Vietnamese coffee! Tracy contacted me as the staff noticed I went out late in the evening (looking for a body scrub scrub & hair shampoo as I had 2 full days of excursions) & fixed me a honey chamomile tea to help with sleep! All restaurants staff and managers were amazing! Bed was so comfortable!

We stayed in the Peridot for a week and absolutely love it. The customer service is exceptional, all staff are go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met and more. The complimentary breakfast buffet is excellent, worth the stay by itself.Location is very convenient, so many things to do in walking distance-the circle mart (convenient store) is across the street. The room we stayed was small, but we hardly stayed there because so much to do in that location. Definitely Highly recommend.

Best place in Hanoi

After switching hotels we’ve stumbled on Peridot Gallery. The best place to stay in Hanoi, charming, great location, fantastic staff and awesome breakfast. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to indulge ourselves in their spa service. Responsiveness and professionalism of the staff on all levels deserves 5 stars and more. Thank Peridot, if we are ever back to Hanoi you are on our list.

Excellent place and great service.

The Peridot Gallery Classic was a beyond comfortable stay for my friends and I. There was 4 of us in total, and we had 2 rooms that were connected. From the beginning while booking the stay, Julia Nguyen was very helpful. The staff is very flexible to help accommodate and communicate details of check-in and answer questions. The location is very convenient, anything and everything you need is within a 10 minute walk. My group was welcomed by Lusious and Bee and they were very nice, and helpful with checking in. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms were comfortable. The rooftop bar is a very fun part of the hotel. The ability to leave your room, head upstairs to enjoy drinks and a view is amazing. There’s also a big hot tub/jacuzzi to relax in as well. The bartenders make great drinks. I’d like to shout-out Minh Anh and Minh for their spectacular service, friendliness, and hospitality. Minh Anh always greeted us with smiles, and always asked if we had needed anything. I’d definitely stay here again if/when I visit Hanoi in the future. I’d also highly recommend this place to stay to any others planning to visit Hanoi.

We enjoyed our stay here. Its within walking distances of pretty much everything. The street is pretty quiet. The staff were beyond excellent. They greeted you when you entered and exited and offered their assistance for any needs whatsoever. Each of them always had a smile as well, which made each day so much better. We'll stay here again if we come back to Hanoi.

This has to be one of our favourite hotels during our 4 month SE Asia travels! You just stay here if you are going to Hanoi. Its walkable to Old Town and many other must sees, it has the most beautiful bar and roof top jacuzzi. The daily breakfast is delicious and the staff are so friendly!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay here. The staff were all so attentive and kind. The breakfast selection was amazing. And the view from the rooftop was excellent. It was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and sites in the Old Quarter. We were even able to get a massage at the Peridot Grand during our stay. All in all, this was the perfect place to retreat to while exploring Hanoi.

Peridot hotel is located conveniently in Hanoi Hoan Kiem District. The facility was clean and the staff, William, was very friendly. The room was very clean and quiet. The rate included daily buffet breakfast. The hotel also provides the option to order from the breakfast menu free of charge. The well known restaurants near the hotel are Don Duck, and Banh MI25. I will definitely stay there again.

I booked a Junior Suite, and the room was clean and spacious, with enough room for a large suitcase and a cabin bag. The amenities in the room were excellent, and the free breakfast was a great perk! Most importantly, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly—they even surprised me with a birthday cake when I returned to my room. I’ll definitely book this hotel again!"

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property looks new and is exceptionally clean. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised when one of them brought me a cake for my birthday during breakfast—it was such a thoughtful gesture! The only downside is that there’s only one lift in the building, which can cause some delays. Breakfast was decent, though nothing extraordinary. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent service and cleanliness!

Great hotel to stay at and central to everything in old quarters. The staff were amazing specially William, Lucy and ducky. Always greeting you with a friendly smile. Hotel is as expected and shown in the photos no surprises. Will definitely stay here again

The hotel was amazing! It was on the perfect location within the old quarter, everything was in walking distance. The hotel team was very friendly, polite and helpful. The driver from and to the hotel was also very friendly, and the car extremely comfortable. The room was a little smaller than expected, but the bed was amazing. So comfy, we didn’t want to leave in the morning! Although it’s in Hanoi’s old quarter, we didn’t hear a thing! It was so quiet. The shower and bathtub was a little dated and the water pressure wasn’t that good, but the rest of the room made up for it. The jacuzzi on the roof was great, amazing sunsets and great cocktails. Breakfast was also very good. We can only recommend this hotel and would stay there again should be in Hanoi again!

The staff were amazing, super friendly and lovely. Unfortunately we were here in the aftermath of the typhoon so the upstairs bar was leaking and often had wet floors. Good location

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff.

They actually gave us a bar voucher at check-in, which I thought was great. Went up to the bar to get a drink before dinner, was told it was happy hour thus cannot use the voucher, but only after they served the drinks despite announcing I was using the voucher during my order. No problem, went for dinner, came back for more drinks after dinner, and after serving my beer (opening the cap) then telling me I can't use the voucher again because voucher is not applicable for beers, despite again having informing the bartender I'm using the voucher before ordering. This guy is really crooked. I guess the empty bar should have been my first hint not to patronise the hotel bar. The room had no windows, but this seems like a regular thing in Hanoi. The cleanliness was not up to par which was surprisingly tho. Bathroom shower fixture also had issues.

Loved our stay here! Family of 4 in connecting rooms and it was a great amount of space, nice tub, cute balcony, big king bed for the master room - each room had their own bathrooms. The rooftop spa pool was great with a beautiful view. Buffet breakfast was delightful. Amazing mini Bahn mi! There was a concierge that was so lovely - gave fans to the kids and was just so warm and welcoming. Wish I remembered his name! Hotel is close to shops and street food. We walked everywhere! Would stay here again.

We loved the staff at this property, as well as the location. The hotel was a perfect place to land after a busy day of sightseeing. The jacuzzi pool on the top floor was just perfect. The food and drinks were wonderful as well. Highly recommend.

It’s a beautiful hotel in the area and the staff are lovely and helpful. They cannot do enough to assist your stay. It is busy and noisy outside but the hotel offers some comfort and calm, like an oasis before you go back out into the fun and heat of Hanoi. Handy shops nearby, spas and restaurants everywhere. They can also help with trips and transfers. I would highly recommend if visiting Hanoi.

Overall the property is clean and have great staff but if you look closely, it could use a slight touch up to get to give star. The walls, windows and doors are not very sound proof. Also need to walk to sister hotel (Peridot Grand Hotel) to use large pool and gym.

A very good hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter with all the facilities you would expect. Location is great, plenty of dining options and sightseeing spots all walkable. Staff at the hotel were a gem, happy to talk to you and offer advice about your trips in Hanoi. I would happily stay at the Peridot Classic again.

The staff are so friendly & will help you with whatever you need. I went on a solo business trip & in Hanoi for the first time but I was so comfortable & felt so safe. Hazel helped me through my stay & kept in contact. Helped me with drivers. I felt very safe. Also advised so I don’t get duped. I loved my stay here. I would stay here again on my next visit. I also enjoyed the breakfast here. It was ok, enough to get my day started & there are a variety of options.

Easily the best hotel we’ve stayed in Vietnam. And we’ve been to many. Service was impeccable right from the start. Too bad we only stayed for one night. They remembered my partner’s birthday, surprised her with a cake when we came back from touring. And layered her with a lucky charm for her birthday gift and then a fan upon knowing that we were on our way to Cat Ba. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. From receptionists to wait staff at the restaurant. One of the highlight stays of our trip! Will definitely recommend everyone who comes to Hanoi to stay at this hotel!

They advertise their rooms of soundproof, which is completely dishonest all night long the motorbike horns sound like they’re coming from the bathroom, making it impossible to rest

This was an absolute gem of a hotel. Best bed & pillow I've encountered in weeks. Lovely balcony room. Lovely bar and restaurant and loved having the enormous hot tub to myself one evening with a cocktail from the bar! Great location. Excellent service.

The Hotel staff was amazing! Very welcoming, always eager to help and suggest restaurants and things to do. It is in an excellent location! Less than a block from the action but on a quiet street. Bed is incredibly comfortable and did I mention the Staff! They really made my visit over the top! Thanks you to Peridot Boutique Hotel!

We had a lovely stay here, the staff are very helpful and attentive. Mr Smith has many good recommendations about how to make the most out of your trip to Hanoi. It is a good location with prime spots closely available, just a walk away. We would certainly stay again.

It’s a very small hotel, very clean room without window. This is was really bad and its expensive

The hotel was both cozy and elegant. It was traditional, with a European flare. The rooftop bar and hot tub was a great place to relax in the afternoon, that features a happy hour from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with half price cocktails. The complimentary breakfast in the restaurant might be the best we’ve ever had, and the staff, especially Hoa and Trang were so good to us that we can’t wait to come back. I wasn’t feeling well for a couple of days, and they went well out of their way to help me. They, as well as the front desk manager take excellent care of their guests, and really look out for you. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, which is important to us when travelling. Not all rooms have a balcony, so be sure to request one if that is important to you.

Staff and property was great but confusion regarding the two locations: peridot grand has all the facilities while the boutique does not have the pool or other facilities

Workers very open to help my family, kids and baby included. Once the front desk made a mistake due to a misunderstanding (not her fault), but she don't stop to look for a solution until find it.
