Amazing service from the team at La Storia. The breakfast choices were limited but every item was great. Staff spoke English well, easy to communicate

Stayed for the 2nd time in a different room which had very low water pressure . Otherwise enjoyed stay at La Storia Hotel.

Staff were verg courteous and helpful.

Convenient location.

The room was very disappointing as it has two windows, but both of which are interior or blocked. We felt that it was false advertisement. However, the staff was very kind and understanding- excellent service. The room was comfortable, enough for the price paid- the bedding did show some wear. Breakfast was great.

The manager, Tiep Le provided above and beyond service. He was kind, professional and offered great options for us as far as tours, spas, and other recommendations. The location was very convenient and their breakfast was amazing! I’d highly recommend this hotel for your vacation. It did not disappoint and we’d stay again but really we’d stay at any hotel managed by Mr. Le - he was extraordinarily helpful. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel manager was so helpful. Reached out before our arrival to let us know he could help with arranging airport transport, tours, etc. We also forgot our expensive rain jackets on a tour bus coming back from Lan Ha Bay. We didn’t realize until the next day, when we were checking out. The hotel manager called the tour company, got them to bring our jackets back and then he mailed them to our hotel in Nha Trang. I thought they were gone forever….very thankful for this above and beyond service. Also, their Pho for breakfast was up there with the best Pho we had in Vietnam.

comfortable hotel, quiet location.

Beds comfortable, quiet location, nicely decorated. Transport from airport was on time. Breakfast not at all like the pictures, it is not a beautiful buffet breakfast as advertised, it is a limited choice "a la carte", disappointing. Also no "welcome drink". Good coffee but lukewarm at best. Need to update the pictures.

We found the hotel to be very clean, the staff were knowledgeable and organised. The hotel manager is very helpful and polite. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

It's a small boutique hotel with no luxuries but it's adequately clean and cosy. The bathrooms are a squeeze but sufficient for a quick shower. I do wish the overall maintenance of the tiles and flooring were better but for the budget price per room I'm willing to overlook the wear and tear.

Location and ultimate access

Fantastic location, just about everything in old quarter in walking distance,. Freshly cooked breakfast each day the only way to start a day. All staff great help when needed, especially Mr Tiep Hotel Manager , who helped with everything from ATM and restaurant recommendations to taxi bookings. Room a touch small but we picked it so can't complain. Would definitely stay here again

Small, but comfortable. Now with less chaos!

La Storia is very central in the Old Town part of Hanoi. It is convenient for catching a number of buses to major destinations in the city, whether they be the Temple of Literature or the Museum of Ethnology. The hotel itself is on a quieter, less-trafficked street in the area. However, step onto one of the streets at either end of the block and be prepared to dodge motor-scooters or face death! Note, this truism applies to many streets in the Old Town, as well as across the city in general. The room itself was comfortable (though small) and fairly clean, with enough details (moldings in bedroom, vanity area tiles, etc.) to make it feel boutique-like vs generic. There was definitely a lack of storage at the front desk as temporary holding of arriving / departing guest luggage ended up at the foot of the stairwell. Not good. Breakfast options were limited and not particularly eventful, taste-wise. Coffee was usually lukewarm at best. Staff did speak good English, were friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, ok value for price.

The staff at this hotel were outstanding. It was our family's first trip to Vietnam, and the staff helped immensely with sightseeing recommendations, suggestions of places to eat, and even took care of booking a day trip for us. I can't say enough good stuff about this hotel, and we would happily stay there again.

Located in old town. Walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. 2,3 blocks away from the night market street. 1 min to Circle K convenient store. Friendly staffs. Nice breakfast.Buffet dishes plus individully prepared Pho,Omlette etc.

Traffic noise annoying

The hotel is conveniently located and is quite nice and clean. Breakfast was good too and service was great. Only downside was the incessant beeping of motorbikes and honking of cars downstairs. Kept us awake at night and woke us early morning. Advice... Ask for the inward facing room... Those Might be quieter.

Best Value for money for a great hotel in Hanoi.

Cosy and designed hotel, comfortable beds in lovely connecting rooms. Great welcoming and a very good breakfast. Excellent location, and most friendly and helpful staff. Tiep the manager was very caring and helped us a lot in planning our tours. Best fair cost for such a good hotel.

Cosy little gem in the heart of Old Quarters

Cosy and lovely hotel with a wonderful and warm crew that made every effort to ensure my stay with my husband was fantastic. We were so well taken care of by the team, special thanks to Jason, Hannah and Louie. The location was fantastic and there are a lot of food places nearby. Everything was clean and modern. The room was quiet and we could not hear any traffic noises. The kitchen was happy to take requests as well and happy to make an ice coffee that was nicer than the ones we ordered outside.

The location and the breakfast are good. The toilet facilities are worn out with hand towers having stain, basin dripping water amd the shower room overflowing out woth water during shower

Great place. Lovely helpful staff. Rooms beautiful and new. Perhaps bit tight on space especially if bigger person. We had great adjoining rooms which was perfect for a travelling family.

Wonderful place full of wonderful staff! I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the value. The staff, especially Diep and Tim, were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite nice and the breakfast is good as well. It’s in a nice location in Old Quarter and you can walk to many places of interest. Will be staying there again on my next visit to Hanoi!

Great little boutique hotel

Stayed at La Storia for 4 nights. The room was great (super cool a/c), as was the breakfast, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. They even stored my suitcase whilst I visited Halong Bay for 2 days. Location is ideal just on the edge on the old town. A few mins walk from the lake, but with slightly less noise. Would highly recommend!

Great central hotel.

Great hotel for families as it has connecting rooms. They are a bit smallish, but you don’t spend too much time in your room anyway. All staff were super friendly & breakfast was great & plentiful! They welcomed us so nicely & even had rose petals on the bed! Would definitely recommend.

5star service

La Storia is abt 5min walk to Dong Xuan market and the famous Banh mi 25. This hotel is new and clean though a bit small but good enough for tourists on the move. We stayed at the connecting rooms. We arranged our tour to Sapa and Halong bay with Tim through emails at reasonable price. The service rendered by all the staff were 5 star! Special thanks to Tim for his excellent service 24/7 and the manager, Mr Hiep Le that brought us to the corner of the road to buy the rice paper. Hope to be back soon.

Excellent staff

They gave us a warm welcome, with an amazing milkshake, they explain to us where we were, and the amenities to see in Hanoi. I love this hotel, small but warm.

Great Welcome to Vietnam

Our family of four stayed at the La Storia hotel for 3 nights and we were welcomed very warmly. We received quick and helpful service from the great staff and there was nothing that was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Our son had a birthday during our stay and the stay organised a special celebration, which was greatly appreciated and a lot of fun. It would have taken a lot of time to organise. Also the breakfasts were excellent and we also received a "breakfast to go" on our last day which required a 4.45am departure. An excellent location, great staff and a wonderful experience.

Great Hotel and central location

We were really delighted with the Hanoi La Storia Hotel. The location is excellent and only a 10 min walk to the lake. Many eating places surround and good safe area. Our welcome was excellent even though it was after midnight when we arrived. ( Delayed flight ) Given a welcome drink and shown around. Even though our room was small it was absolutely adequate and very cute and cosy. It was kept immaculately clean. All staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent and one of the best we have had in Vietnam.

I can not speak highly enough about Mr Tiep Le and his staff. They could not do enough to ensure that our trip was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and their wonderful staff.

Really good hotel & amazing location

Good hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Small room (but fine by us). Small but great shower. Non-city view, but it's really fine and quite. Maybe city is nicer if you want the view. If you're staying in town for a couple of nights this would be a great choice.

Brand new hotel, Excellent service

La storia hotel located right in old town, easy to walk around Doong xuan market and night market. The breakfast's very good with many different buffet dish, Amber is so friendly she helped us book the trip to Halong bay and Sapa. Recommend

The hotel and room were clean and neat. Room is smaller than average, but you have enough room to be comfortable The staff was very friendly and I need to mention Mr Tiep who showed commitment to make our stay as good as possible. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Fint lille værelse i ok stand, dog var vinduerne så dårlige at det lød som om de var åbne hele tiden, så der var rigtig meget larm fra gaden. God service og morgenmad. Rigtig fin placering.

朝から夕方まで、土曜日、日曜日関係なく、工事の騒音と振動に悩まされた！蟻のような小さな虫が室内を行列しており、ベッドの上や体にまで登って痒くなった。予約はシティビューのはずが、外の見えない暗い部屋だった。ベッドは湿気ており、快適には程遠い。
