Great Boutique Hotel in old town Hanoi

A beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff! The hotel is well located for walking around the old city. Many shops and restaurants. You can walk to the lake and the Japanese bridge easily. Hang Phan was extremely helpful in making our stay comfortable! I highly recommend this boutique hotel!

Amazing hospitality and beautiful views from our room

We have had such a lovely time staying here, the staff has been extremely friendly and hospitable. Our rooms have been perfect and we’ve felt comfortable the entire time. The breakfast buffet gives you plenty of options to choose and the food tastes great!

Very good location in old city staff was very accommodating and friendly. Good bed good shower, good breakfast. All at a very fair price.

This hotel is very well located in the heart of the Old Quarter. The roof bar is amazing, the staff very friendly and the hotel very clean. The area is, by default, noisy. Which you need to be aware of before booking. If you don’t mind, then this is a very fine hotel to book for visiting Hanoi.

A great hotel in the heart of the action.. the decor was very nice and in great condition and the room was excellent. The staff was very attentive to guests needs.. especially Hang Pham, she was so helpful in answering our questions, giving us advice and so nice with her warm and sincere greetings every time we saw her.. Hang went out of her way and made our stay even better..so much that we booked and extra 2 days at the end of our reservations..

It’s my 4th time staying at La Siesta Ma May. I keep coming back because of the great service of the staff here. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Hang and Dac are the best front desk agents. This hotel is like my other home. Food from the breakfast buffet and from Red Bean restaurant is also very good. La Siesta Ma May is just a great place to stay for my trips to Hanoi.

A wee gem of a hotel

I only stayed for one night as I was flying out the next day. A wee gem of a hotel in the old quarter and close to the weekend night market. I have stayed in other hotels in the old quarter but I did enjoy the location here as not as chaotic. The hotel has a great gym for a hotel workout, no pool and I didn't try the spa. The breakfast was very good, everything you could ant. I had dinner and the food was very good, but expensive for western food. The room slightly dated but very comfortable bed and bedding. Very good value and a nice hotel that I would definitely stay at again.

Absolutely fantastic!

We had an absolutely fantastic 5 night stay here! The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful with everything and it truly made the stay exceptional. Special mention to Kathryn, who was fantastic! The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options from a buffet and a la carte. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to be back!

It was incredible! No complaints at all. Room was very nice, all amenities were nice as well. The lobby and bar was clean, well decorated, and very inviting! Special mention to receptionist Hang! She was so so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. Love her!

La Siesta Ma May is a wonderful hotel. The staff are so attentive, friendly and welcoming and would go above and beyond with recommendations, checking in on us and support with bookings. The hotel is a nice boutique size so not too many guests. Good facilities at breakfast, gym and spa. Room was an okay size for the type of stay we had. Would highly recommend

amazing hotel with great service

La Siesta was one of the best hotels that we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Asia. The location in the Old Quarter was fantastic and the service was incredible. They will sit you down and review a map of Hanoi with you, then proceed to walk you to your room. You see the same familiar faces at the front desk each day, and they remember you! The front desk staff are also extremely familiar with the Old Quarter and have yummy food recommendations. They will recommend the hole in the wall restaurants that are busy with locals that you want to go to! We didn't have a window in our room, but that was okay as we weren't in the room that often. Breakfast buffet is included and Vietnamese options could be improved such as more toppings for the chao and perhaps banh cuon. If a pool is important to you (it was not to us), then there isn't one at this hotel. There is an extremely nice roof top bar that we visited during our trip.

Had a lovely stay at Le Siesta Ma May. Staff are polite and friendly and went out of their way to help. Room is spacious and breakfast is nice.

Very nice breakfast, you can order pho as well. Good location to see the night market and old quarter. Excellent skyline bar. The ac leaks for my first night and staff came right away and fixed it. Overall great hotel in this location

Lovely Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Classic Ma May. It is a lovely hotel in a great location in the old quarter. Our room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was very tasty and included a variety of foods including fresh fruit and an egg station. We had dinner two nights at the hotel after long travel/ tour days - both meals were really tasty. The rooftop bar has an amazing view and lovely for an early evening drink. All the staff are very attentive friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Hang Pham and Amy (travel desk) who provided recommendations on restaurants and things to do as well as also helping us book a Halong Bay cruise and train tickets. We really appreciate the help it made our stay less stressful and a lot more enjoyable! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Great Stay in Hanoi

All of the staff were friendly. The guy at the receptionist area gave suggestions on places to visit and eat. The hotel was nice wirh clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and the skybar had nice drinks. I would definitely recommended and woukd stay again.

One of kind service!

Dac and his staff in the hotel was kind, friendly and professional! I checked out the hotel on my last day then walked around before waiting for my ride to the airport. They were offered me a cleaned room for a shower before my ride to the airport… never ever any hotel did anything like this. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic 2 day stay in La Siesta. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the Old Quater. But what really made this hotel special is the service. Every staff member is so helpful and kind and always has a smile on their face. As we were there over the Lunar new year holidays we did not get the opportunity to use the gym or spa. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, excellent service, good accommodations.

I booked 3 nights at Hanoi la Siesta Ma May in the Duplex Suite with 2 king beds. The bedroom was the perfect size for me and my travel companion with the two bathrooms. The elevator is slow, but stairs are conveniently located next to them. The building is well-maintained. The staff was exceptional. We received help in booking a couple reservations and the staff was extremely helpful in their recommendations. The hotel also offers a small map with all the main attractions marked with a list on the back of all the places to see or eat in Hanoi. This was a huge asset to our trip. The bellhop even walked us to our car with all our luggage after the streets closed to motor vehicles (streets become pedestrian only in the Old Quarter Friday night to Sunday). I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We loved this hotel!! Hanoi streets can be a bit chaotic, but this hotel is an oasis of calm and luxury. We wanted a place in the heart of old Hanoi and LaSiesta did not disappoint! The staff was the best we’ve experienced—including a recent stay at Singapore’s Marina Bay sands—impeccable service. One if the reasons we chose this hotel was for the rooftop bar—and it was magical. The breakfast buffet was amazing with an array of delicious Western and Asian choices. LaSiesta exceeded our expectations in every way.

This was a spectacular hotel that lived up to the Autograph luxury distinction. It is a lovely oasis in what can sometimes be the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The staff were some of the best we’ve experienced—and we’ve traveled a lot! We were always greeted each time we entered the lobby. We stayed at the hotel for two non consecutive nights and did a Halong cruise in between. The hotel stored our luggage for us while we were gone. We went to the moonlight rooftop terrace bar each night. Wonderful atmosphere with music and excellent food and service. The hotel rooms we had were lovely and extremely comfortable. We ate the breakfast buffet both mornings. It featured a wide variety of offerings from both local and Western cuisines and we tried both. The eggs Benedict were excellent. We also tried some foods new to us: pho, dragonfruit, fish, and a variety of other local dishes. We truly loved our stay at the La Siesta!

This is a great hotel, a must stay in Hanoi. Located in the Old Quarter, convent for shopping and dining. Hotel staff is amazing, great roof top bar and Spa. I loving staying at this hotel, both the Hanoi and Hoi an locations.

Loved this place - hotel was lovely, room fit the three of us nicely, the spa services were great, the staff was fantastic, especially the woman who was basically our personal concierge Thanh Hằng! La Siesta was our cool and quiet oasis amidst the hot, humid, and very lively city of Hanoi. We couldn’t have asked for more!

I would say that the hotel employees are the best part of this property. In the heart of Old Quarter.

Amazing hotel and staff! Great location to ALL OQ

I went to Hanoi with my wife and adult daughter. I booked 4 different hotels 4 months before our trip. 2 weeks before we flew, I narrowed it down to Hanoi La Siesta in the Old Quarter because it had a spa and a hotel rooftop bar (cigar smoking allowed!) and most importantly, our guided tours were walking distance to.from the hotel. The staff very attentive and professional staff. We checked in close to midnight. The hotel booked us a private large car from the airport to accommodate our bags (12 days + wedding). I was afraid that our "windowless" room was going to disappoint, but I was wrong. The modern rooms were next to each other, one queen bed, one king, offered plenty of space for our stuff. These hotels aren't tall, and they are built right next to another building so at most if you had a view, you would hear the local traffic and look out into the busy street way. Windowless was a welcome, because our sleep was never interrupted by noise or the impending morning sun. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, custom eggs, pho, in season fruits, Vietnamese coffee. If you are expecting to fill up at the buffet, you are going to never be hungry for the amazing street food Vietnam has to offer. BTW, if you order bottled water or a can product, you will be charged. Spa treatments were great and inexpensive. Rooftop bar was relaxing and had a great view and drink specials! Did I mention the staff was amazing?! They even walked us to exchange our USD at a jewelry store.

Hanoi La Siesta Hotel is probably the best place to stay in Hanoi. Very conveniently located in old quarter in the hub of food streets, it is the best choice for travellers. The staff do an exceptional job in making you feel at home. Best part is that they take your reviews seriously and make you feel so wholesome. Breakfast buffet is very impressive as well, special mention to their bakery chef who made the best cakes we ever tasted It was the best decision of my vietnam trip to stay here. The service at this establishment exceeded all expectations. This is the absolute best service experience I’ve encountered in SE Asia. The location in the heart of the Old Quarter was convenient and the updated charm of the property will also have me returning here in the future. The hotel is well located in Old Qaurters area , close to many shops and the lake , which is city central. Property is very well maintained, roof top bar provide good city view especially in evening. Service is top notch , staff very friendly and caring towards guest needs (considering we had a early morning checkout with a small kid, they offered us complimentary take-out breakfast ) . Rooms were clean and spacious with all 5-star amenities. Restaurant had limited but wide delicious food options, also suitable for vegetarians.buffet breakfast was sumptuous . Travel desk provides good tour options with good English tour guide service.. overall comfortable Value for money stay option.

Friendly staff, excellent hotel offering in Hanoi old quarter. The whole staff operated with a single mind of customer service and care. We were made welcome from the moment of our arrival to our departure. It was evident that other guests we’re having the same experience. We were told so by departing guests. The room was clean and comfortable, the included breakfast had a long range of offerings, and varied from day to day. The hotel was an oasis from the busy streets of the old quarter, it made our Hanoi experience!

Best hotel experience we have ever had

We are a family of 5 who travelled to Hanoi for the first time. La Siesta was the second hotel we stayed at in Hanoi. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The family room with loft bedroom was just perfect for us. A small kitchenette and two spacious bathrooms was the right amount of space our family needed for the three nights. We found the staff to be excellent in their attention to detail and also going above and beyond with all our needs. Huong in particular was super attentive ans made our stay so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Far better than our precious hotel. Our kids noticed this especially. Location has everything at its fingertips. Oh, and I should mention the rooftop bar. What a view!! And the cocktails were delicious. Thank you La Siesta for an incredible stay. We can’t wait to visit again and also share our experience with friends and family.

Friendliest, and most helpful staff you can imagine in a hotel in this day and age. No comparison. If you want a welcoming environment and attentive customer service, La Siesta is the exception to the norm in 2022. Highly recommend, would stay there again anytime.

The staff in this hotel are fantastic and extremely helpful. I especially enjoyed the massage at La Spa, and would recommend them if you have a chance to try it. The location in the old quarter is also very good, giving you access to lot of restaurants and bars. Overall, this is a nice hotel and I will definitely come back if I visit Hanoi again.
