Friendly service, very comfortable room.

The Hotel is very well located, the staff is great they would go beyond to make guests to feel welcome and meet their expectations. Lili is the motor of the hotel. Will recommend this hotel.

The staff at the Hanoi HM Boutique Hotel were wonderful. We were greeted with a refreshing glass of tea upon our arrival. Even though we arrived to early to check in, they took the time to answer our questions and even book a tour which was terrific. Great hotel, great value for your money.

Its a very average 2 star hotel. Location is good if you want to be around the hustle bustle of the old quarters.

Just an ‘OK’ hotel

Hotel wa just “ok”. Not filthy but the shower didn’t drain well and it didn’t look clean. Some of the front desk staff weren’t the friendliest. Overall, nothing positive or negative really stood out about this place. There are cheaper and better places to stay in the same area. I would opt for them before this place.

Great location and very nice people!

Good cost effective option

Not the best hotel, but was okay for the price and great location. Staff were friendly, breakfast was very average. Rooms had boarded up windows so not a lot of natural light.

The property pictures look quite good but in reality the deluxe room was so cramped for even one person, glad that I didn't have to share the room with another person. The property is quite average and probably not worth the money they charge.

Great hotel for family

Great spacious family room, I’m central Hanoi and old quarter. Ideal for our 3 nights family visit. Breakfast was standard Vietnam offering, not great but that is the case everywhere!

City view room only had a small window in the top of the wall, you could see up the next building, cleanliness was nou to standard. After bringing it up to the reception they offered me a different room which was better, city view now was the lobby, cleanliness improved. You get what you pay for, price was low including breakfast which I only used once.

The property was mediocre clean. Shower leaked water excessively on the sides every time it was used. The incorrect shower curtain size was an additional contribution to the leaking. Our room and bathroom was more distressed and outdated than than the property photos provided on the property details. The breakfast was also mediocre, but this could be due to the pandemic recovery. I have stayed at better accommodations that are in the same neighborhood at the same price point. The location is centrally located with lots of shops and restaurants.

Great stay at the Hanoi HM Boutique

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff in the centre of the Old Quarter. We were given a room upgrade on arrival with large king sized bed and balcony. Breakfast was a mix of Asian and Western to suit anyone. Would stay again when in Hanoi.

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to sites and great food. Staff were very helpful and rooms were well appointed.

It was a short but delightful stay. Great location right at the center of the Old Quarter. The staff were friendly and responsive to requests.

Overall the stay was fine. The bed was comfy, good breakfast, very convenient location for exploring and catching the bus to Sapa. Staff were lovely. When we arrived we were given a room we didnt ask for (it had no window), but we would be moved for the next day. We were tired from the flight so said no problem. It was quite noisy on the 2nd floor as you could everything going on in reception late and early in the morning. We then moved to the 4th floor with window, much better but there was a cockerel crowing every 15 seconds from about 5am. We had 2 nights in the that room. We returned to this hotel after our 3 day visit to Sapa (already booked) and had requested a room at the front away from the bird and that we were happy with traffic noise. We got a room on the top floor (9th) and could still hear the bird and was even noisier with traffic. Turns out our first room was the best of the 3 but had no window for natural light. Quite an adventurous stay.

Spoilt for choice!

Excellent location, near to the Hoan Kiem lake, night market, food choices and shopping. Room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly.

Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful in trip planning

Told no room available as had problem with a leak in the room. Taken to another hotel, expecting the same standard or better but got a tiny room with an internal window. Room was dirty and in need of redecoration. NOT HAPPY with this relocation, but as it was late and only staying for 1 night did not move.

Old building, staffs helpful

We enjoyed our three nights with HM Boutique Hotel. Whilst our check-in didn't go as smoothly due to plumbing issues they bent over backwards to make sure we were not put off by it. Ricky the Hotel Manager was very nice and couldn't do enough for us! The room was nice, bed was more on the firm side. Breakfast we felt was a little lacking. The quality of food was not at a boutique standard as the name suggests. We often had to request things which had run out. Tables were not cleared quick enough and had to wait. This is all compared to another stay in Hanoi on the same trip. Nice view from breakfast though.

Extremely uncomfortable stay!

We booked the room in HM Boutique hotel in Hanoi for two days but when we reached the hotel, we were informed that the washroom in our room was damaged and they sent us to a nearby hotel “Hanoi A1” hotel for day-one and the room was much much tinier and not in a great condition. Day two we were asked shift back to the original hotel HM boutique hotel and upgraded us to a balcony room. But the same issue with the washroom and the toilet flush wasn’t working. We had to use the washroom in the lobby which was extremely uncomfortable. The management should have been more mindful and more well planned. This can be extremely annoying and uncomfortable for families travelling on a vacation

Five Star Customer Service

This hotel provided excellent customer service and the staff spoke understandable to excellent English. The manager helped arrange a ride to and from the airport and reserved a street food tour as well. He offered to help arrange other tourist activities but we decided to book things ourselves. We paid more than we needed to and paid way too much for transportation. Highly recommend utilizing the hotel to organize any activities, they will do an excellent job and save their customers money. They also allowed us to leave a suitcase for 5 days while we were away from the hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Mini bar was cold and breakfast was filling. Highly recommend this hotel for their excellent customer service!

Enjoyed stay in Hanoi with support of H M Staff y

It was ideally localed in old city to get to most places Ricky at travel desk was amazingly helpful way beyond duty. Arranged tours, pick up and flights. He also kept in touch all the way . Kayle at desk most helpful and cheery. Enjoyed our stay and will go back there any day. Real value for money and great staff support

Excellent Service

After returning from Halong Bay I continued to stay at HM Boutique because of the great service and convenient booking. The manager Ricky and his staff accommodated me with a beautiful room with balcony for my final night in Hanoi before leaving for Laos. He even extended my room stay so I could have a few extra hours to relax and clean up before my flight. Everything about this hotel is excellent and the price is exceptional for the value and customer service you will receive.

Great tour assistance & awesome service!

I originally booked 4 nights and decided to return after my trip to Sapa and between a trip to Halong Bay. As usual I was greeted with a smile! I used the free luggage storage for my back pack while overnighting in Sapa with an over night bag. Ricky the manager arranged my tour and the return plan as well as additional tours that were awesome! He made sure everything was perfect for me! I want to thank the staff for another exceptional stay!

Superb Hospitality

Excellent service and staff. From the minute you enter the hotel you are greeted with a smile and warm hospitality. Ricky the manager is superb with making sure you are taken care of and he also will arrange tours and transportation. He will give you options so you can decide what is best for you . He will make sure you get the best experience while in Hanoi. Breakfast is delicious with a view of the city. Ricky, Nancy, Kylie, Tommy, Johnson and Toan are 5 star employees ! My trip to Hanoi was special because of the staff and overall experience at the hotel .

Central, clean and cozy

Central to the markets and shopping streets. Staff were lovely and helpful, willing to go the extra mile for us and spoke English which was helpful. Free breakfast was a bonus, May cooked the best poached eggs. Rooms spacious and clean and bathrooms new and tidy. I would definitely stay here again. Downside: No swimming pool, which was needed on the hot days, lift was out of order one day. Another night we could hear the street festival quite loudly below, surcharge of credit card payment. The price per kilo for laundry was the highest we experienced across our 3 week holiday.

The property is in a good location, as it’s nice and central. I didn’t like having my room on the 9th floor as it’s very noisy outside your door in the morning from people waiting for the lift. Also, from 6am it is very loud above your head as they prepare breakfast directly above you.

Pros: Great location, good staff, great breakfast chicken pho. Cons: No view even though a room with view was booked; dated facility and furniture; chair had stain, bedding was ok.

They staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and the price and breakfast was satisfactory. The things we didn’t love were our safe didn’t work and it took 4 days for them to fix it, ants in room, bathroom glass and shower had stains all over and could have been cleaner and although it was a non smoking hotel the security guard would smoke in the lobby at night and we could smell it in our room. Overall we wouldn’t come back.

Good little gem

This is a wonderful hotel in a convenient location (walking distance) to all places a visitor would like to experience. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with this little gem. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. I would book again.

Great location close to the chaos around Kiem Lake

We booked 12 rooms and stayed for a week. The staff on reception - Henry, Phuong, Huong and Toan - all have good English, offer a high level of professional service and smoothed the way for us many times. The best rooms are those with a balcony. Some of the smaller rooms lack a window and feel a little bleak. Hot water, wifi and comfortable beds make for a pleasant stay close to the action. Recommended.

Most comfortable bed during our stay in Vietnam

Close to Hoan Kiem lake and Water Puppet theatre. Great food close by. Great breakfast, good variety. Rooms very comfortable, best bed during our stay in Vietnam. Only thing is the street noise travels to the room, so it can be quite noisy all through the night.

Irritating receptionist

Hotel is OK. Not anything amazing. Rooms basic and small size with ants. Most annoying part of our stay was the receptionist who did not have our booking on their system (not sure why despite booking through hotels.com). She kept walking off with my phone (even though asked on multiple times) not to. Showed proof of booking with confirmation number (multiple times!) and even proof money had left my account - but she couldn't register this. Completely incompetent receptionist.

Work in Progress

Major construction work next door to the Hotel.This is for an additional business to the Hotel. Drilling and Hammering from 7.00 am till 9.30 pm.Dust everywhere..we were unable to make any use of our Balcony..due to the thick layer of builders dust. Breakfast mediocre..due to an obvious lack of a kitchen. Due to the Hotel being affected by this building ..Hot Water intermittent. Staff did their best too mitigate the effect of the building works.

Stay here when construction is finished

Room is fine and breakfast is small but good, the only problem is they are doing construction right next to the guest rooms, so you get woken at about 7 each morning by loud construction noise

up on arrival the manager was very nice we found if you did not want trips he did not want to know you, room was very small breakfast ok the staff very good, the girl Phuong was a god send helped us out with many problems thank you.

Forfeited this room because planned got changed. Still would have experienced the same positive services.

Great Hotel and services for the PRICE.

When we arrive the hotel was a little noisy due to construction next door of course totally out of this hotel's control. Hnery was the customer service person and he was great. He saw to it that we were happy with everything.

Don't stay at this hotel as a family!!!

The hotel is clean and very central, but the service is awful. We had booked a room for a family of four however when we get to the room there is only one King size bed. How do they expect us to sleep for people in one bed? When I brought this up at the reception, there was no willingness to try to help out. If you're 1-2 persons, the hotel might be good, but don't go there as a family!!!

Everything was petfect, from the room to the staff. Special thanks to Henry who goes the extra mile to ensure that customers are happy. Henry also arranged for our tours and everything went as planned.

This hotel is located right in the heart of things, within easy walking distance to the lake, the puppet theatre, and, of course, Old Quarter. It was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Due to its central location, it is noisy, and our room under the dining room was especially loud when staff began preparing meals around 5am. The breakfast buffet was acceptable, but not great, but the dinner we ate there was very disappointing. Apart from this minor issue, we enjoyed our stay.

Family of 6 were treated like Royalty!

From the time we stepped into the hotel, we were welcomed and all are needs were looked after. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The room had lots of space and was very clean. The hotel is brand new. The location is perfectly situated to see all the great historical spots in Hanoi. Thanks to Henry and all the staff!

modern, clean and great location

Comfortable stay in a modern hotel which provides all the amenities. Right in the old quarter, 2minute walk to the Lake and in close proximity to cathedral, prison and train station. The staff are wonderfully helpful. Secret gem is the view of Hanoi from the skyview restaurant.

Nice little hotel in the Old Quarter

Great little hotel in the middle of the Old Quarter. The team there could not have been more friendly or helpful. The only drawback is the showers, no curtains so the whole bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. Overall would definitely stay there again.

This hotels staff, especially Kelley did a fantastic job. Food was great and amenities were plentiful. Would stay again in this hotel.

Still sleepy :(

The staff were very nice and welcoming, the restaurant had good food and a great view, and the Tour they organised was very good. But the room was at the back of the hotel and in the 5th floor, despite all assurances of quiet it was very noisy from street noise and we had to wear ear plugs.

Great hotel

Fabulous staff who went out of their way to ensure our comfort. We started in a room by the stairs from which we could hear the lift every time it dinged & noise from the foyer but they moved us to a quieter room. We upgraded from a basic room with no windows to an executive room with a view & more room. Extremely friendly & helpful people & great location for walking.

Fantastic staff in a great hotel

We got an to an executive room. The room was nice and clean only downside was that it faced a bust road so it could be loud at night and made it difficult to sleep at times. The shower in our room didnt have a curtain or screen so we ended up with water all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast was good but did not have much of a selection. The staff were fantastic so helpful, friendly and spoke great English. Tours and airport booked through the hotel was good and well priced. Location of the hotel was excellent close to shops, the market, restaurants and convenience stores. Overall an excellent hotel

Nice hotel in old quarter

Nice little boutique hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi, only a couple of blocks from hoan kiem lake. Room was nice size and the wifi and breakfast were nice. The only complaint we had was with the shower, which was just placed in the middle of the tub with no door or curtain so water got everywhere. This is only a minor complaint though and our friends' rooms both had standard showers. We will be back to stay in the hotel again on our way back through Hanoi

Small hotel in old quarter close to Hoan Kiem Lake

This new boutique hotel is in the old quarter of Hanoi, close to beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and the water puppet theatre. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but if you're a light sleeper ask for a room that doesn't overlook the street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The one area that could be improved is the quality of the food, which is provided on the top floor with a good view of the lake and the neighbourhood,

Well located in the Old Quarter .

We booked the Junior Suite, it was very spacious and had a balcony so we could look over the city of Hanoi and the lake. When we had a problem with the door on the balcony the staff dealt with it promptly. The staff were excellent and booked us two tours including a great street food tour with a part time comedian. The location was great in The Old Quarter close to lots of places to eat and shops and within walking distance from " The Water Puppets ' show.

Happy Stay and Holiday

My family had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful especially Tracy, Henry and Kevin. Prior to our departure, Tracy sent us email to confirm our hotel and 2D 1N Halong Bay trip. Check in was a breeze. The room size was spacious for my family of 3 adults.The room has a balcony overlooking Hoam Kien Lake and the busy streets of the Old Quarters, that provided beautiful backdrop scenery of the lake and the surrounding area which was a favourite spot for my husband to relax and enjoy in the evening after a day activities around the city. Breakfast was simple, adequate and nice. Hotel is within a short walking distance to Hoam Kien lake, eateries/restaurants, shops and weekend night markets. The Halong Bay tour recommended and arranged through this hotel was commendable. My family had a wonderful experience on this cruise. Room and meals provided on-board was good. Activities such as kayaking and swimming were great as we get to see and admire amazing scenery in Halong Bay. On the eve of checking out of the hotel, staff helped to arrange for a private transport cost USD 15 to airport. To our satisfaction, the transport was waiting for us in front of the hotel the next morning. Overall, we were happy and satisfied with the hotel stay and services provided. great location and wonderful service.

Hanoi is a busy city and can be very difficult to navigate. Fortunately Tracy, the front office manager, is extremely helpful. We stayed in a suite with a great balcony overlooking city and the lake. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is very excellent for Hanoi tourists.Staffs were very kind and Henry was very friendly and hus arrangemdnts for traffic were perfect. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was good enough. I will stay HM Boutique again.

Great location to Old Quarter

Walk out the front door and your in the hustle! Bed was very comfortable and room very clean. A lot of street noise in room 301 but they are right above the street. Would recommend staying off the street but great stay otherwise. Staff very helpful and breakfast was OK.

Excellent Hotel!

This was an excellent place to stay. We were very impressed with the venue itself, the staff were the best I have experienced at any hotel anyplace. Ensure you book a room with a window- costs very little extra.The breakfast was ample and fresh. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
