It was the worstest property I ever seen in my life. So dirty, so filthy and the staff were too much haughty. Please guys don t ever book this place.

Great area, not so great room

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room itself was not what was expected. It could have been cleaner, the shower had almost no water pressure, and the hot water only lasted long enough for one person.

This Hostel is very dirty , we can not sleep in there (Hanoi evergreen hostel) we got out right away to find other hotels Manager of Hanoi Evergreen Hotel said the Expedia will be returning my money ($150.36) and I wrote to you about about that. But Expedia still took my $150.36 from my M/C I want you returned my money . Thanks for your help. Lam Tran

Excellent property with great access to local attractions and markets. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about local tours. Laundry service was cheaper than local services. Would certainly stay again and highly recommended.

This is not a new building. Almost nothing in the Old Quarter is - that's it's charm. The property has challenges due to age, but the staff managed any issues quickly and effectively. They were always helpful and informative, and arranged better prices for bookings than we could elsewhere. Overall - highly recommended.

Eco green hostel (Formally called Evergreen Hotel)

The room was quite dirty and smelly , but since the price was so cheep you get what you paid for. The location was central right in the middle old town (so a bit noicy as well). Nice service.

Had to wait 20 minutes to check in as receptionist was not there. Shower did not work. Place was very run down

The bathroom was my main issue. It was very dirty, there was no soap provided, the toilet paper was soaked because the shower sprayed everywhere, and the sprayer for the toilet didn't work so you have to use the shower sprayer to clean yourself. It was disgusting and definitely overpriced. You can literally go down the street and find places with better facilities, for less money.

The style of the hotel that represents the way of local living.

Lisa & company were very friendly and helpful from the start. They are also very proactive and always on top of everything. I doubt my trip to Hanoi would have been as enjoyable had they not been there to help me by answering my questions and recommending trips and locations. Definitely staying here again in the future!

Amazing stay, on par with most 3-Stars hotels.

The ladies at the ecogreen hotel were so friendly and helpful. My room always had clean towels and soap for shower and clean sheets on the bed. I was able to contact the lady at the hotel directly with anything I needed. Hotel would arrange a car for me anytime I needed. I would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a safe, clean and friendly place to spend their time in Hanoi.

The Hanoi Evergreen was a great deal! First off, the staff are excellent and really go all out for you. Great communication before and during the stay. It is an old hotel so doesn't have the flash of a newer one, nor the price. It was comfortable place to rash after a day of touring Hanoi. Had a room on the front (street) side, and it was noisy, but that is Hanoi and part of the experience. Bottom-line, looking for a place to crash, with great staff, hot shower, and easy on the budget, I would recommend you get some good ear plugs and book it, I would again.

Not worth the price

Room photo differ from the web. No lift access, crazy to climb steep stairs up to the room. Room dirty like mad. Room is small. Not worth the price

Receptionist was great but hotel was not what was expected from the site. Shower was sub standard so did'nt attempt to use. No lift so would not recommend for anyone who would struggle with the climb whilst carrying baggage. However tired the room was the bed as cmfortable and the room was very clean.

Unpleasant experience. Will not recommend!

So I booked a double room for a 4 night stay. When I arrived, they told me the room was not available due to a broken bed, and moved me to an 8 bunk bed dorm room, telling me it's only temporarily for the first night. Since I was travelling alone and arrived late at night, it wouldn't be a problem for me to sleep there for a night. But even though I had the whole room for myself, the bed and bathroom are very tiny. I doubt even a backpacker would feel comfortable here as aircon's not working (only a small fan for each bed), wifi's not stable and there's no storage space. After the first night, they told me my double room was still not available and asked me to stay another night in the dorm room, promising my booked room would be good to stay the next day. So I agreed. Then came the 3rd day, they eventually had to move me to another hotel because unsurprisingly my room was still not available. But guess how they transported me there: On a motorbike! Yes, with my luggage. The woman (older one, there were two female staff) at reception didn't have the best attitude during my whole stay. Ridiculous experience. I will not recommend this place to anyone, even those who's looking for a budget hotel.

I didn't even stay here

I can't say anything about this hotel, because when we came they had no room for us (yes, we booked it in advance). So owner offered us to stay in different one.

Everything is good here. Nothing particular to say.

It was a fine stay, not the best but good for the price, only 4$ a night.

Great dorm experience

Stayed in a dorm. Very clean, great privacy with curtains. Free toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel and sometimes cotton buds and combs. Great location close to where you want to be in Hanoi. Staff are delightful and very helpful.

This hostel is centrally located near the market, park and near many restaurants.

Good backpacker style hostal.

Great location in the intense old part of Hanoi, about 10 minute walk to the Hang Kiem lake. Deluxe room, 2 beds, good a/c & tv with English channels. Adequate bathroom though requiring some adaptability (fiddling to grit the right shower temperature).

Has a good private space, room is pretty clean :) staff can speak English

When my partner and i arrived at 6.30pm to the hotel they gave our room to same one else about 3 to 4 hours before we arrived at the hotel they sent us to stars hotel. We where not happy

Reasonable price for stay and kind people

Great stay in here^^ staffs were very kind and rooms are clean. But bathroom seems like old and small.

You get what you pay for!

I booked a bed in a 6-bed mixed dorm and found it was quite cramped and small. I liked that there were curtains around all the beds for privacy, and then a fan for each bed as well. You get what you pay for here though - the building is quite old and a bit run down, and the bathroom is not particularly pleasant.

Evergreen

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very noisy,as the windows have no double glazing. The room we were in was up three flights of narrow,steep,stairs which were difficult to navigate with luggage- I was kindly assisted by a staffmember. It was cheap,but should be reclassified as a hostel,in my opinion.

シャワーが熱いか冷たいしか出なくて体を洗うのもままならずでした。（シャンプーはマッサージ店へ） あまり綺麗な感じではなく備え付けのタンスにモノを入れるのも躊躇しました。 掃除も毎日は入らなかったようです。 階段がなくて4階も辛かったです。 フロントの方はとてもいい感じでしたが。

I was very well received by the lady at the reception. however, the humidity in the building is horrible. the bathroom never dries and the dormitory is therefore very humid. the floor was even wet because of it at one point.

Good staff and location, but not the best wifi

The staff were really helpful and kind. The room are clean but we miss a little bit of space in the bathroom. The wifi in the reception is really good but not really in the room. We did go two times to this hotel because he has a really good location and the staff are incredible. You have to know that the name from the street is ecogreen and not evergreen. Really recommand for a low budget hotel.

Lisa en general es ok,casi siempre.el hermano ,de noche no es una persona calificada para trabajar en un hostal,tosco,malcriado, un imbecil.por su culpa me imagino que mucha gente no ira alla jamas. Esa es la regla de los alojamiento numero 1
