Very affordable accommodation and within walking distance to the Old Quarter
It was in a great location. A walkable distance to most popular attractions. Hotel was okay.
It's small, quirky, kind of romantic for some reason. The staff is extremely friendly. Great location. Great price for a quick night in Hanoi.
Short stay would have better
It is alright for a very short stay nit dont stsy long. Convenient for Hoan kiem lake and okd quarter. Paint peeling in corridor and bathroom. Shower makes odd noise even when not being used. Sink wobbly. Small window right high up. Floor gets really wet from shower, even when door is shut. Only good thing bed is huge, two beds put as one. Smells damp.
Great location
We really enjoyed our stay, especially due to the great location of the hotel. Due to the current weather in Hanoi our original room had a damp feeling to it but when we highlighted this to staff they immediately moved us to a room which had more windows for better air circulation. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. Great hotel for this price point!
Comfortable n convenience.
Room tidied n Cleaned daily, easy to look for foods .
B52 visit
Room was very hot new a.c. needed next room we got was great good a.c
Nothing like presented on the photos, very poor condition.
The hotel was in a convenient location and cheap but a bit outdated and not the cleanest. Staff were very helpful and friendly though
NO *
BAD........BAD
The hotel is not as per advertised online. It's a very old building demanding maintenance. Bathrooms are pretty small, esp the shower area wasn't sufficient for huge person like me. Our room didn't have intercom or electric kettle. We went for breakfast at 9.30( hotel advertised as 6.30-10.30) and all that was left was eggs toast and juice. Very disappointed !! I moved out the very next day.
Good location. No gym facilities. Room was okay but no window facing the street. So with the curtain closed, you won’t know the difference between day and night. Overall, staff and room is good so definitely recommend
Three person bed....
When arriving at the hotel we found that there was a big two person bed and a single bed when we booked for 4 persons. It was not possible to put an extra bed in the room so we shared the beds. The hotel claims to be a green oasis, but the plants were dead. The shower was rusty. The airco was good and breakfast was simple but okay. Overall not awful but price-quality was not right.
Good breakfast and wifi. Location excellent. 2 very short blocks to Sapa Express bus. Walkable to everything.
Lovely hotel in great location
Budget Hotel
Stayed here twice, one room was nice and the second was not, breakfast is fly centre, ok for budget backpackers like us, location was perfect.
photos more perfect than real life
We stayed on 2 separate occasions, both in superior rooms. Photos on hotels.com look WAY better than real life. Both our rooms had a window overlooking 3 walls, so we didn't get natural light. It was basically like sleeping in a dark box. Our rooms were clean though but pretty old and dated. Water stains on walls stood out. Showers had hot water that turned luke warm after a few minutes of showering. The bathroom was great because it actually had a tile threshold and glass partition that keeps water from spilling everywhere. Both rooms were pretty quiet, though the room on the lower floor had a fair amount of noise from staff yelling at each other. Complimentary coffee, tea, tea kettle, bottled water and crackers were available daily in the rooms. Buffet breakfast was pretty nice though it was more of a lunch than breakfast. Bottoms up on the coffee!!! Staff are pretty helpful. The hotel entrance is just a door off a busy street that leads down a narrow, dirty corridor, so you can easily miss this place. Just look above the first floor for the hotel sign when searching for this place.
Ok budget hotel - good location
Actually stayed here twice, first experience wasn't so good, we had ants in the bed and very loud workmen in the hotel. It was too late to cancel our next stay. Our second stay is much better, clean room and quite. Breakfast was pretty poor but for the price and perfect location it's an ok hotel.
Nice hotel in the night life area...
Central Park Hotel room is a bit small but still ok for the money paid. The road is too narrow and the street is very busy. We had our drinks at the walk way. It was fun seeing all type of people walking on the street. Many Tour agency are offering good discounts and the local people in hanoi are really nice. Communication is the only barrier for them.
There were ants in the room when we arrived. Room was small and had no window
We enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay. Good value for money and very good location. Average breakfast but you get what you pay for!
Nice hotel in very good location
so dirty
the hot water is unstable and the room is not clean there were so many ants on the table disgusting
Close to all
Hotel set back close to the lake, close to all you want to see, rooms are good, breakfast no complaints so good Hotel
Not what we booked.
We arrived and then they mentioned, that "the owner wants you to stay somewhere else for the first night". In fact it was the hotel of his friend and we had to stay there the whole trip. Never clean the room. The AC was broken. No light. Very bad.
Well situated in old quarter.
Central location. Walking distance to many things in Old Quarter. Not very clean but functionally fine. Breakfast was simple.
Good stay
Location is really good. In the heart of the old town. Close to markets and the lake. Check in was quick and easy. Room was to an average size within Hanoi. Was cleaned to a brill standard. Shower was great and bathroom was very modern. No noise considering it's on a busy street. I'd highly recommend.
Really nice hotel in the middle of old quarter. Very good value for money. Staff were very helpful.
Great location and helpful staff.
Good central location and good facilities.
Good location with reasonable room rate.
Although located in Hoan Kiem, I had pretty calm sleeping with spacious room. (1 person in a triple bed room)
Convenient
The hotel was about 1 or 2 stars, very small rooms. But clean. Very central to old quarter. The photo on the website doesn't reflect the hotel at all, the room didn't have a window and very dark
5 nights
The service was very good. The front desk workers were extremely accommodating and spoke good English. The room was dark and small. The free breakfast was ok. The wifi in the room was fast. Overall for the price it was good. It's not 4 star quality but the workers were so nice they made up for the room.
Close to everything
Great and friendly staff. Hotel is in the middle of the quarter. Great shops all around. Love the place!
good.
Will never stay anywhere else in Hanoi
Location, staff, food are great. Great shopping nearby and the lake and water puppet theater are virtually one block away. Just book it.
Great location and price - a few complaints!
Great location and staff and price and aircon - few niggles that might concern others. The drain in the shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom. The bed wasn't really comfortable - but am realizing that the Vietnamese like a firm bed and pillow. The breakfast was a bit sparse and dodgy - we ordered freshly made scrambled eggs every day, as the buffet didn't look fresh. The roof leaked in the breakfast room when it rained. BUT room was big, the water was free, the location was perfect and the staff were wonderful. At only $40aud a night, you get what your pay for really!
Better, cleaner options out there
The hotel was pretty average in relation to other options in the Hoan Kiem area. For the price I wasn't short changed in terms of room size, age, cleanliness and breakfast. However the exception was the bathroom which was mouldy and could certainly be cleaner.
a super nice place
i got a really nice discount when i booked this hotel a year in advance. so i have nothing to complain about. the value for money was excellent. the staff was great and helpful. the breakfast buffe one of the best i have had in a hotel of this class.
Nice hotel. Great location and starting point.
The hotel staff were absolutely amazing. The room was nice. Bigger than most in Asia. And breakfast was great.
Hotel with basic needs. Room size good. Entrance and reception old and dated.
Friendly staff. Great help.
Very average
This hotel is fine for its price however did not have a great stay. The hot water system in the shower does not work very well, it continually goes from hot to cold and then the hot water runs out after only a few minutes. Also the walls in this hotel are very thin, you can hear someone having a conversation in the room next door and even from the lobby downstairs which makes it hard to sleep or feel like you have any privacy. Overall an average stay, I would recommend looking around to see if you can find a better deal.
Great location!
The hotel room pictured on the site does not resemble the actual room. The windows were dusty and it seems like the room was prepared in the last minute. The hotel is near Hoan Kiem lake and walking distance to many shops and places to eat. At night, I tried to watch a movie and the tv screen kept going blue. I eventually gave up and crashed. Upon arrival to the hotel, the staff offered me a cup of coffee which I gladly accepted with joy after a long bus ride from Halong Bay.
+ not much positive to say but it was a bed to sleep in for the night. - The room we got was pretty old & things were broken & the window was bricked up behind the curtain. - If you literally add a couple of dollars for the price per night, you can definitely get a better place. - I wont rate this past the 1 star. - I would not stay here again.
Great Location!
Perfect location in Hanoi - close to the lake and right in the bustling center of the old quarter. Rooms were quite small but absolutely fine for our stay in Hanoi. Breakfast was very good with buffet style including fresh fruit, yoghurt, cakes, toast, fried rice, mini sausages, dumplings etc. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful!! Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel I bustling old quarter
Very good budget hotel, would use again. Room was very quiet, surprising given hotel location.
Highly recommended, perfect location
Hotel staff was incredibly helpful. All sweet and generous (packed our breakfast to go when we didn't have time to eat it!). Wonderfully located. Highly recommend.
Great location, terrific staff
This hotel is right in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi. My wife and I stayed three nights and walked everywhere. The staff were super friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. Good value and good experience overall.
Beautiful staff, highly recommend.
The staff at this hotel are excellent, they helped us ever way they could. We booked our Halong bay boat cruise on their advice and were very happy with the experience. The hotel is nice but it is the staff that make this hotel stand out, perfect for first time trip to Hanoi.
Hanoi Holdup
Need a easy place to stay in the Old Quarter? This is it! Super friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and comfortable.
Great hotel, great staff
Great hotel in the old quarter. The staff is young and very eager to help with anything needed. The only down side is it can be tricky to find as the enter ended is only about 4 feet wide.
A night and then two in Hanoi
We liked the hotel so much that when we returned to Hanoi to fly out we stayed there again... great breakfast and that was not always the case in other hotels that claim to Bed and Breakfast.
Great Location
This hotel updated us to Family Room (free) because our 1st night had problem and move us to Hanoi Inn Guest House In my honestly I got a bit disappoint in the hotel,But they make a second chance better ,So I think this both hotel are really nice and Location was greats ,You can walk around to bar, night club and restaurant so close and easy to hang out.
Great Staff Great Location
Great Location. Next to the lake in the old quarters. Hotel is better the most hotels in Vietnam. Staff is super friendly and always helpful.
Great / helpful staff & the hotel is in a good location. Hotel a bit cramped (restaurant downstairs with low ceiling & no windows). Breakfast mediocre. But overall great for the price.
The Hotel staff are lovely. The food (breakfast) wasn't that great. The hotel is in a great location but its a bit cramped layout wise. Ie the restaurant is underground/ poor ventilation & low ceiling (not great when you are tall).
Hanoi Central Park
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
Great Hotel near Hoàn Kiếm Lake
Great room, price, location and stay at Hanoi Central Park. Staff is exceptionally friendly and let me hang out, use wifi and leave my bag with the lobby desk staff all day before my flight at night.
Good place to stay!
Hotel location is located in Hanoi central which is very accessible to various places. especially the night market during the weekend. Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly. The room is clean and well maintain.
Great value in heart of Old Quarter
Can't beat the location, within walking distance of all sites in the Old Quarter and just off Hoan Kiem Lake. Staff are cheerful and very responsive, rooms comfortable and great value for money. Breakfast the only downer -- a bit bland and served in a sweaty basement. But there are plenty of good breakfast alternatives nearby.
Great hotel with great staff
The staff at the Hanoi Central Park pride themselves on their exceptional customer service and you do really feel like an honoured guest when staying here. From you check in to your departure the are quick to assist you with any enquiry and a a very pleasant bunch throughout your stay. The rooms, unlike many other hotels that show only the most recently updated pictures are exactly as you seem them in the advertised photos and you will be hard pressed to find a more accommodating place for your stay in Hanoi. Top marks all round.
Hotel Staff was Great...
All the Hotel staff was great, hotel clean and perfect location to walk around and do shopping
Amazing staff, great location and very affortable!
The hotel is located right next to the old quarter, so that was a plus. Very reasonable rate. My only complaint was the bed being pretty hard. The staff was the highlight of the hotel. They were extremely pleasant and welcoming. When we showed up at the hotel, they ran outside to great us and grab our bags. I've never had such a friendlier staff. Thank you!!!
Customer service like never before!
Wow, well this was an unexpected pleasantry! At first when my friend and I pulled up in front of the hotel, via the car the hotel had arranged for us, it didn't seem like much having just a little discreet entrance in between two stores. But as soon as you walk in you're welcomed by a clean, friendly and warm environment. We were greeted by about 5 of the staff members in an instance whom wasted no time at all to get us settled down, checked in and a complimentary cup of tea/coffee in front of us. Already this seemed unusually nice but we soon realized that the staff members were treating us, not like regular customers, but as if we were part of an extended family. Soon after we used the lift to go upstairs to check out our room, still a little skeptical but hoping once again to be pleasantly surprised, and once again they did not fail us. The rooms were immaculate, as clean as could be and with everything clearly laid out for us, and the two staff members, Jenny and Tan, were very helpful, showing us where anything we might've missed could be located and how to use it. Oh and don't think you're going to get lost in the city either, we were provided with a colour coded map with all the popular streets marked out for us, along with other locations of interest that the staff members suggested. Overall the experience that we've had at Hanoi Central Park hotel has been nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in Hanoi without thinking twice!
Fall in love with Hanoi
Huge rooms. Nicely appointed. Will stay again. Staff friendly.
Best staff ever
The hotel was newly remodeled and had small infrastructure problems, but the staff was over the top in helpfulness and put things right quickly. We were there a week and have fond memories.
Good value, nice touches.
Staff very cheerful and helpful. Note: service in Hanoi generally very good, better than HCM City. Central location. Room very clean. Beautiful bathroom. Fruit basket. One can of beer, Pepsi and pack of peanuts free. Had superior double. Window faced airwell, which was noisy because of many aircons. Entrance not easily visible, long corridor to reception. Good value.
Right in old quarter, really nice staff. Rooms were finished to a level you'd expect for the price but very nice and comfortable.
Not the sort of place to be confined on a rainyday
A 4 night stay in Hanoi resulted in staying 4 nights at different hotels. Hanoi is sort of my local (a 7 hour train journey!) and so I wanted to find a really good hotel that I'd want to keep returning to. The hotels were fine 3* £25 a time including this one - very friendly staff who made me feel quite welcome although it was only as I was booking out that they informed me I had been upgraded. If that is the case then I am glad I did not see the other accommodation! I'd definitely go again if the need arose - but I'd prefer to keep hunting for the elusive stunner - if it exists.
Exceptional Service and Great Location!
This hotel is almost new so the rooms are nice and clean but the beds are on the hard side and shower doesn't work the best. While the shower is nice, the quality of the workmanship is poor at best and sometimes difficult to get the setting right with the shower and you could get scalding hot water or no hot water at all. Breakfast is decent and they will make several items on request. Wifi in room is pretty strong and has been consistent. Safe in room is too small for 13" laptop but you can leave at the front desk. What makes this place special is the staff! They are amazing and always willing to help out in any way they can. Truly exceptional service here :)
Nice hotel in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter
The hotel provides shower before check-in. The hotel is very close to Hoan Kiem Lake. Thirty minutes walk from The Ho Chi Minn Complex and around 15 min from Hanoi Opera House. They helped me to find a tour to Halong Bay.
wonderful hotel
we have traveled for many years and have never stayed anywhere where the staff were so kind and caring. They made our stay fantastic.
tried very hard, large room and modern
Tour booking was great, really helpful Breakfast basic but tasty Room was large, modern bathroom and very quiet right I. Centre of old quater They let us check in 4 hours early at no extra cost. Good value The room we booked was city view, our room had no view and smelt badly of blocked drains, they helpfully tried to offer us two alternative rooms but they smelt too. However when we returned 5 hours later it had gone so all ok. We asked at few agents and online at halong bay tours.... The hotel's reccomendation was cheaper and great , far better than many other travellers we spoke to. They also contacted the boat and told them it was our honeymoon so we got roses and cake, sweet touch
Excellent hotel would highly recommend
Originally booked for a few nights, but extended our stay and went back after going to Ha Long Bay. As we were in Ha Long Bay for xmas the supervisor gave us a present when we got back. We were able to leave some bags there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. This hotel was cheaper, better located and with breakfast included (which sets you up for the day) than backpackers hostels which we would normally stay. The supervisor booked our trip to Ha Long Bay, she got us the best deal meeting our requirements at a suitable price for our budget. The rooms are clean, spacious with hot water and clean/ white towels. We could not fault the service, rooms or hotel.

It is pretty convenient and easy to access to other place of interest, all within walking distanace.
