I'm one of those tourists that knew nothing of the area and stuck out like a sore thumb! It was my first time visiting internationally, and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. I will note from the point of view of a Westerner, these might be things you want to keep in mind. The elevator is small and the stairs are steep. The breakfast is in a dining area outside of the hotel, so you do have to leave the building to get there. There's no easy driveway spot for a car to drop you off. If you prefer quiet, you're not really going to find that in the middle of the Old Quarter, as you'll hear noises at all times of night even five floors up (though I personally loved it). But you know what? I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Anne the receptionist was so kind and helpful, even remembering me a couple of days later! The hotel is only a block from the lake, and right around the corner from a water puppet theater. The breakfast is amazing every time, and the rooms are oddly spacious for such a skinny building. The bed was firm but very comfortable and clean, and the reception was willing to help answer any questions. The car from the airport to the hotel wasn't a shuttle like I'd have assumed as a Westerner, but it was comfortable and the driver was very polite and helped me get my bags into the hotel. I was offered help at any turn, whether it was figuring out how to call a taxi, picking out where to eat, or even which touristy shops were better for souvenirs.

Nice place in Old Quarter

This was a last minute booking for one night. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Staff are very friendly.

Good location

Great hotel in the heart of the old quarter

An excellent hotel and great value for money. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. `There was quite a lot of street noise but this is to be expected given the location in the old quarter.

DISAPPOINTED ☹️

I booked suite room with lake view for my family but when i came to check in they gave me triple room. I asked why they gave me the room was not as what I booked? After they made a call to their manager, then they changed the triple room to suites room with road view, they said suites room with lake view no more… i have no choice to accept it as we all tired after long flight.

Great location, clean, excellent service

Excellent location in the historical district near shops and restaurants. Excellent service, the hotel manager Tommy is fantastic, super attentive and helpful.

Highly recommend this as a friendly, clean and well located stay in the old quarter. I could see the lake and the street from y room and the staff were super helpful. The rooms are small but what do you expect in the old quarter! Nice bathroom and a lift to get upstairs as these are long narrow buildings.

Staff are very helpful and resolve the guest enquiries. Breakfast is good and have Pho to let the guests taste every morning before start activities. One thing need to be improved is shower facilities, the curtain not long enough to guard the water comes out after shower.

The service was excellent, with the staff offering great food recommendations and even packing us sandwiches when they knew that we were taking a trip to Sapa! The room was clean and spacious, and the location was great too. Overall felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel!

Super hotel med god beliggenhed.

Fint hotel med rigtig god service. Alt var i fint stand og personale var meget sød og imødekommende. Beliggeheden er perfekt. Der var kun en ting. Vi havde misforstået at "Lakeside" kunne være med udsigt til en baggård.og ellers ikke havde noget med sø at gøre. Men ingen problem vi blev opgraderet til et værelse med udsigt til søen efter et døgn.

Good welcome service

We were greeted as we slighted from taxi and received help with the luggage. As our room was not ready, we were ushered to a resting area and served drinks and fruits. Receptionist took time to explain to us on how to get around and recommend some restaurants for our meals. We were able to check in quickly and even earlier than the standard check in time. We decided to continue staying with them and we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel as we made our 2D1N trip to Halong Bay.

Very helpful and considerate receptionist

Upon arrival, we were treated like VIPs, being ushered to a sofa resting area and being served fruit juice and a plate of fruits. We were being introduced to the areas around us and recommended 10 places to get good food. We were also being briefed about the dos and donts on the street and how not to get cheated. It is good to know that they make us feel at home and try to protect us. They are also very nice to try their best to accommodate all our requests, for example bath tub and baby cot.

Great hotel in great location

Stayed 4 nights on the third floor in the balcony room facing the street. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic with great coffee. Just one block away from Hoan Kiem Lake and under five minutes from the weekend night markets.This hotel is on a busy tourist strip so be prepared to hear some traffic noise until the early hours of the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Worth the money

Close to the lake. The staff is exceptionally caring and friendly. An enjoyable stay. Food is good,as compared with some 3 star hotels.

Visit To Hanoi

Friendly welcoming staff, they could not have been more helpful. Ideal location in the old quarter of Hanoi. The hotel also arranged an overnight trip to Halong Bay for us. Breakfast choice was excellent. Room and facilities all very good. Thank you also to Bella Rosa for providing us with a breakfast to go, when we left at an unearthly hour for our train to Hue

Great: location, service/staff, clean comfort

The staff was beyond excellent. The bathrooms were great except for a little of a mold problem in a couple corners of the shower (which the hotel staff did not understand was a problem) but very spotless and comfortable other than that. The family room shower needs a curtain for inside the bathtub; taking a shower with water splashing all over the bathroom is not the best feeling. The beds were very comfy with nice bedding and decent mattress. The decor style was modern minimalist; we liked it. The whole hotel was very clean and spotless and the service was impeccable and reminiscent of a luxury hotel. The location is phenomenal; literally around the corner from the beautiful lake and shops and cafes and the water puppet theater and the city tour carts. The breakfast buffet had a good selection including western and eastern food if you're in a hurry, although you can get tastier Viet breakfast elsewhere.

Conveniently located, impeccable service

They offered free upgrade to the Bella Rosa Suites located just 2 units next door. The hotel is conveniently located just 3 min walk from the Hoàn Kiếm lake and temple. Within walking distance from all the places in Old Quarters. The staff's service is impeccable.Service staff went out of the way to provide travel tips for Hanoi and also to help us fix the air con. For just S$30 per pax per night (with buffet breakfast provided where you can ala carte order pancakes, Pho and omelette), the hotel is really the best that you can get!

Great place to stay

A great stay to end our holiday - the hotel was in close proximity to a lot of attractions - the staff helped us when needed and check in/out was quick and easy.

Convenient Boutique Hotel

Location is excellent though a bit noisy. Room is decent, clean and comfortable. Service was great. Kudos to Ms Emma and Mr.Albert. What I and my wife liked particularly is the 'personalized' Breakfast which is being prepared right in front of you based on you had ordered from the manual.

Wonderful experience during my 5 days of vacation

The hotel staffs are friendly are helpful. The condition of the room was clean and comfortable. We signed up the Halong tour with them, all the arrangement was great. Location is convenient! Will head back to again!

Great value, lovely staff

The hotel is very well positioned, a short walk from the beautiful Hoan Kiem lake. There are many great street food places close by as well, or more western style cafes for those who prefer them. The hotel itself is quite new and still has a few teething problems with its resources. But it is clean and well presented without adopting false pretensions to "class" that you get elsewhere. But the best thing is the hotel staff, who are really lovely and friendly - and genuinely so, no false smiles or "missing you already" schlock. They will go out of their way to answer any question, help with any issue, or address any problem you are having with the resources. All round, Bella Rosa is excellent value and I would happily stay there again. I can strongly recommend it.

2泊しました。とても綺麗に清掃されており良かった。2泊目も全てのアメニティが交換されており1泊目と同じ状態で良かったです。 なんと言ってもスタッフがとても親切で対応が良かった。朝食ブュッフェも美味しくスタッフ対応もエクセレント！

ホアンキエム湖が見えるホテル

ホアンキエム湖が見える、タンロン水上人形劇場のすぐ近くのホテル。入口はこじんまりとしており、エレベーターは歴史を感じるものの、部屋には不都合はなく、なによりスタッフのホスピタリティがよかった。朝食は数軒隣の系列ホテルでサービスされるが、メニューが豊富でフルーツも各種揃っていて十分だった。ホアンキエム湖周辺の繁華街に近いので、便がいい反面、夜は多少賑やかだが、それも現地の楽しみの一つと考えばよいかと。

誠実な接客とフレンドリーなスタッフ

バルコニーつきのジュニアスイートを予約していましたが、手違いで別のカテゴリーの部屋に通されました。 チェックインした時は疲れていたこともあり｢あれ？ちょっと狭いかな？｣と疑問に感じましたが、慌ただしかったので、とりあえず部屋に入りましたが、予約確認書を見てバルコニーがついてないことに気づいて、レセプションで確認してもらったら、すぐに間違いを認めて対応してくれました。 その日の夜は、バルコニー付きの部屋が満室だったため、翌日から同系列のホテルのバルコニー付きの部屋に泊まれるように手配してくれたことで落ち着きましたが、一晩は違うカテゴリーの部屋に泊まることになりました。 ただ、その時対応してくれたスタッフは何度もお詫びしながら、一生懸命対応してくれたので、ホテルに対してマイナスのイメージはなく、むしろ誠実な接客態度が印象に残りました。 その後、このホテルが素晴らしかったのは、この手違いの件を他のスタッフもきちんと把握して、オプショナルツアーのディスカウントや空港への送迎を、付けてくれたりなど、物心両面でカバーしてくれたことです。 翌日移動した、同系列のホテルのスタッフもきちんとお詫びをして気遣ってくれました。 通された部屋はとてもバルコニー付きの、とても居心地のいい空間でWi-Fiも良好で、旧市街のにぎやかな立地でしたが、喧騒も特に気にならなかったです。(ただし、深夜まで音楽が鳴ってたりするので音に神経質な方は耳栓などを用意した方がいいかも知れません。) 朝食も、たくさんの果物をはじめ、種類豊富で、フォーやパンケーキもオーダーすれば無料で作ってくれて、毎朝つい食べ過ぎてしまうくらい美味しかったです。 系列ホテルを含め、どこも小規模ですが、そのぶんスタッフの気遣いが行き届いて、とても素晴らしい滞在になりました。 どんなに大手のホテルでも、人間のやることですからミスは生じると思いますが、その後の対応ひとつがそのホテルの本当の意味での格を決めるんだなと、改めて実感させられました。

ホアンキエム湖側スイートに宿泊。 眺望は非常によく、週末はナイトマーケットの喧騒を部屋から感じられます。 他のホテルのホアンキエム湖レイクビューからするとコストパフォーマンスは高いと思います。 ホアンキエム湖や水上人形劇のみならず、飲食店やスパ、店舗へのアクセスも徒歩1分と利便性は非常に高い。 セットでついていた朝食も美味しく、フォーや饅頭、焼き飯など伝統的なベトナム料理の他、オムレツやパンケーキ、フルーツ、コーヒーなどがブッフェ形式で提供されます。 部屋の設備において冷蔵庫がついていない、鍵が外せない、金庫ロック解除など全て丁寧にご対応頂けました。 他、サービスとして2kgまで2ドルの洗濯サービスなどがあります。

감동 서비스. 환상적 위치.

위치가 아주 환상적입니다. 호안끼엠 호수에 수상인형극장 바로뒤에 있어요. 라벨르스파도 바로 앞에 있고,야시장도 바로 근처에 있어요. 무엇보다 가장 큰 강점은 엄청 친절합니다. 하노이역까지 그랩도 잡아주시고, 취소했는데 수수료도 안받으시더라구요. 비오는날 호텔 근처까지 우산도 가지고 나와서 씌워주시고 감동입니다. 벨라로사호텔에 10년전부터 이용을 시작했는데, 서비스정신은 그대로 입니다. 하노이 여행가시는 분들 강추합니다.

Simples e Honesto

Um hotel pequeno mas com um atendimento maravilhoso. Pelo valor que custa vale o que entrega. O quarto é razoavelmente grande mas é um hotel tipo 2,5 estrelas então dependendo do que vc busca está de ótimo tamanho. No meu caso foi apenas pra dormir pois tinha um vôo logo pela manhã .. o pessoal me preparou um café da manha pra eu levar (super bacana isso) pois eu sai as 5:45 da manhã. Enfim, não é um super hotel mas nem dá pra esperar isso pelo preço que oferece .. o staff é ótimo e super mega atencioso. Vale a pena

Shower booth needed repair

Water temperature of the shower booth was hot in the beginning. After fixing it, it changed from hot to cold, from cold to hot. I asked the janitor to change my room and waited for 20 minutes and there was no response. I came down to the reception to see them doing nothing..... It took more than 2 hours to fix it to an acceptable level and my family couldn't take shower until midnight.

Die Lage war sehr zentral und damit sehr viel Trubel in der Umgebung. Das Zimmer mit Blick auf den See war sehr schön, tollen Ausblick, aber sehr laut. Habe die ganze Zeit mit Ohropax geschlafen. Vielen Dank an die vielen lieben Menschen, die unseren Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht haben! MfG

정말 만족스러운 호텔

호수 전망인 룸을 선택했는데 사진상으로는 그렇게 넓어보이는 느낌이 아니라서 조금 걱정을 했으나 실제로 보니 방도 넓었고 뷰가 정말 아름다웠어요. 직원분들도 정말 친절해서 감동을 받기도 했어요. 근처 둘러볼 곳들을 정리한 지도도 챙겨주시고 영어도 잘 하셔서 잘 지내다가 왔어요. 조식도 맛있고 다양했어요. 걸어서 맛집이나 관광명소로 이동할 수 있었어요. 다시 또 이용하고 싶을 만큼 만족스러웠어요!
