The room was very clean just need bigger firmer pillows and softer beds
The girl gave us room 513. It was taken by a man that was half naked when I walked in and I’m glad my granddaughter didn’t walk in first then we got room 203 and it was not very clean. I didn’t even stay there the second day
Hampton Inn bed and bugs deluxe
I have stated other Hampton Inns before. This Hampton Inn has got to be one of the dirtiest Hampton Inns I have ever seen. I spilled water on the floor and when I went to wipe it up the towel was black from the floor. The tub is so old it did not drain but it was also peeling from the paint that was used on it. There was no wash rags, no bath mat and no toilet paper on the holder. I had to search for toilet paper. The a/c was so noisy when it was turned on, that i finally just put the very warm room. The beds was very uncomfortable and the pillows was flat. The whole bedding was worn out. I will not stay at another HAMPTON INN AGAIN. I WILL ALSO DISCOURAGE FAMILY AND FRIENDS FROM DOING SO!!! Hampton Inn you need to do better, your quality of accommodation are horrible. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Josue and Dale made it a pleasure to check in. We enjoyed are stay and enjoyed breakfast for 2 mornings. The staff was very accommodating on clean towels when needed and was gracious ro give us a late checkout. Excellent service!
This was our 5th time here and we loved it
Good
Great location.
Only stayed one night but was a perfect stay.
Fantastic! Great staff’
Nice place and essy to Riverwalk.
Traveling across country and needed a good night’s rest. I absolutely adored the comfort and cleanliness of this property!
We appreciated that the facility had very secure parking lot. The staff were helpful and courteous. The area was noisy at times, but we figured it was due to a convention group that was in town.
There was a bear store around the corner
Everything was so nice if you’re coming down to San Antonio and want to be close to the river a lot I feel like this is a place
Great
We enjoyed our stay
Very old hotel, extremely cramped, overbooked, kitchen and dining area was horrible. Rooms were not cleaned properly and were very dirty, poor hotel to stay at. You can hear every pin drop no matter what room you’re in.
Pool was very cold. Other than that, everything else was great.
Front desk was helpful in giving tourist information
Great location for the Riverwalk and Alamo. Lots of area homeless, only average clean room, great breakfast staff
Clean
It was convenient
Price!
Cool but paying for parking, never heard of her until this stay, odd
Overall, the hotel was nice. However, we encountered a few cleaning issues. The towels and bed sheets had stains when we arrived. Despite this, we had a great experience. I particularly loved the private parking and the delicious breakfast.
I like every thing clean and nice staff
The property itself is wonderful. It's a lovely location and clean property.
We loved our stay here! Starting with Anthony who checked us in and gave us recommendations on where to eat, the hotel was clean, breakfast was well stocked and had variety of items, everything was great!
convenient to river walk done down fall no parking.
Enjoyed the stay!
Great service and the breakfast was very good!
Hotel is clean and comfortable! Breakfast exceeded expectations! Near all the tourist places!! Great neighborhood!
Good
Good location
Very bad experience
We saw roches and fly bugs in the room the. room was not clean and also mention to the reception about bugs and roaches Overall experience is poor and we have to pay extra for car parking as well I didn’t know but anyways Happy holidays
Good service
Very pleasant staying. Happy to recommend
TV was a problem but was a good stay
No housing keeping everyday .the room not clean everyday.
Early Christmas family getaway
Great stay, clean rooms, plenty of breakfast options and staff was friendly.
Room had very little lighting, room smelled and bed was, very uncomfortable
love it will stat
Good choice
Hotel was good! Windows seemed to prevent road noise. Bed was ok. Hotel pool should reopen shortly if it hasn’t already. I didn’t use the $$ parking lot, Lyft was fast. Three blocks to Alamo; homeless in the opposite direction. A couple more blocks to the River Walk, with road construction in between that might be complete in January.
Friendly staff, clean room with mini fridge and microwave, comfy bed. Great variety for breakfast hot and cold choices. Walkable to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Secure parking. Would definitely use this property if in the San Antonio area again. The outdoor pool was closed due to yearly maintenance.
The property is extremely outdated and was of poor quality for the cost. Shower door did not seal allowing water spray on the floor, lighting was poor and inadequate, elevators felt like they were going to break, staff was indifferent and they charged $32 for self parking. For the costs, not a pleasant experience
The service and staff were amazing. Room was acceptable but need cleaning and attention to areas not obvious like under headbourd. Accumulation of hair and debris that would not normally be guven attention. Very acceptable stay otherwise
Good, easy parking
Room was nice. Was Edie ring better than average though. I am a person who cannot stand hair. The drain in the bath was full of someone else’s hair and there was hair on the tub wall.
Super nice staff, rooms a tad outdated.
Property was ok and staff was very nice.
Overall good. Right in the heart of the River Walk. Parking is certainly an issue, despite their $30 /night charge for it.
Not so good. They charged me parking but I booked hotel room with free parking .
Breakfast ran out of coffee and food😏had to wait
, comfortable bed.
The property was close to the event i was attending, so i didnt have to use my vehicle to get to event.
Recommend this hotel! Will stay there again!
Es un hotel muy Limpio. Cuarto muy como y reliance

Everything was perfect
Overall the use of a hotel was good. The only thing that doesn't add up was paying parking and it wasn't mentioned that they charge to park per night my spending limit went over prior how I had my trip planned.
Good
Never again. Parking fee Theft
We really enjoyed our stay. It's very convenient to walk to see the Alamo & the River. Breakfast was well stocked and my kids enjoyed making waffles every morning.
I didn't lile the property near a homeless camp, also the ip charge for parking 34 dollars a day!!!
I felt very good about staying there, and I really enjoyed the breakfast.
My room was clean but the maid service was not explained properly.
Great location and within distance of everything you want to do in San Antonio (e.g The River Walk, The Alamo and much more)
Walking discursive distance from the Alamo it was cool.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Check in and out was smooth. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Room was clean. Location was super convenient.
Breakfast was great
Breakfast was great
Excellent location
Do not recommend staying here
This hotel is on the “fringe” of the riverwalk area. The surrounding area is dilapidated and unsafe. The streets are in disrepair. There are flocks of birds that nest in the trees of the hotel that are extremely loud and cause a mess on the grounds and on cars. We have never been to a Hampton Inn where the staff does not greet the guests. It was definitely an “experience” staying here but one that will not have us returning.
Great location convenient to the River Walk area but not too close. Kind staff. Clean rooms.
Upon walking into our room, we instantly loved it. The room was very clean. No weird smells. Was a decent size for just us two. Nice view of the pool and street. Bed and couch were both comfy. There was a safe in the room, fridge and microwave which came in handy. Breakfast was pretty tasty. Staff were pleasant and friendly! We had zero issues with our stay here, although the parking price in my opinion is a little steep. $32/night. Other than that we have nothing bad to say!!! We plan on visiting here again in the near future.
Hotel was a convenient stay due to its proximity to the Riverwalk and some nice restaurants. It was a bit dated, but expected due to how busy it gets throughout the year. To be fair, interaction with the staff was rather limited, but the young man at the counter did grant my request to be placed on a higher floor (away from an elevator). Although there is a fee for parking, it is practically equivalent to what one would spend in parking (a la carte) when visiting neighboring attractions that you could walk to from this hotel.
The room was not clean at check in. When I reported to the front desk they said they would take care of it. They cleaned the next day but the bathroom was still dirty, including a contact lens on the floor. Neither my wife or I wear contacts. They did offer a free stay, but because I booked through Expedia they could not execute the refund.
Nice
$32 for parking is way too much
Quality for the price
The location is fantastic for a quick 5 minute walk to The Alamo, The Riverside Mall and The Riverwalk. You pay for parking per day, but your car is behind a gate, so that’s nice! The breakfast and coffee was delicious! The employees kept it stocked and a clean area. My least favorite were the beds and pillows. Definitely older beds and pillows. The pullout bed wasn’t clean when we arrived, but they came and cleaned it and replaced the sheets when I called. The pullout bed didn’t have a zipper mattress protector. All in all, if you’re looking for a location near the river walk without paying higher prices, this is the hotel for you.
Overnight Desk Staff was not interested in assisting me at all. He could have put forth some effort but chose not to.
Good location
It was close to the Convention Center
Sheets towels dirty lazy staff some pics below
Esta limpio aunque las instalaciones un poco antiguas por ejemplo el elevador
The staff where very nice and helpful.
The staff were excellent and took care of me during my stay! I love how breakfast was included and the property conveniently located!
The office personal was very kind and welcoming to the guest. We've been here twice and I will recommend this place.
Towels in our room had weird stains and rips, not sure if room service notices these things when they're replacing towels. Front desk staff didn't seem too friendly. Free breakfast is decent. We liked being within walking distance to the main tourist area. Bathroom needs some maintenance as there was a bit of cracking/mold growing in the corners.
Clean , convenient and quiet , breakfast and coffee , awesome ❤️
Rust present
Everything was great other than a rusted desk lamp and rusted vent in the bathroom!
close to attractions and great parking options!
Good walking distance from the Riverwalk and Alamo. Found electric scooters and were able to navigate around the area pretty well. Ubers were also close by. Had an SUV with a U-Haul trailer on it, which makes getting around downtowns hard if not usually impossible but this Hampton had parking available and the extra long spots available were perfect. Room was very nice and clean. We only stayed one night but wouldn't have felt a problem staying longer.
We enjoyed our stay there.
Very nice. We did have an issue with the door. It would not latch but it was taken care of quickly by maintenance. If anything, the building should have been made with more elevators.
The only thing that was a problem is there tv and wifi doesn't work most of the time of our stay
Convenient location.
.
The location is perfect for Alamo !! We had activities at the Memher and it was so convenient to walk there

Basic
The hotel was ok. I expected it to be nicer being that it was on the Riverwalk. The room itself was decent but the bathroom definitely needs some renovations. The toilet and bathtub are very old. Not sure if I would stay again. If I am going to stay on the Riverwalk I’d prefer to stay somewhere that’s more up to date.
