Nice hotel in a good area with a lot of options.

Great location beside the mall and several good restaurants as well as other entertainment. The hotel rooms are a bit dated. There is no overhead light just multiple lamps. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it was open. We did enjoy breakfast this stay. We decided to stay here before flying out if IAH. It is close enough to arrive on time for our flight. Thanks for hosting us.

Excellent stay from cleanliness to hospitality to customer service...a five star overall rating

Nice hotel near the mall.

Room is fine. Decor is a bit dated. No main light, but there are multiple lamps. Shower is fine. Got some much needed rest. Really well situated in regards of food and entertainment.

Good place to take a break.

Good hotel that has a good connection to several restaurants and bars. Next to the mall. Good place to go after arriving to Houston from the airport.

Staff was friendly and check in was seamless. The hotel is located in an area that allowed easy travel to and from where we were going during our stay. The room smelled like mildew, the carpet floor in the room was sticky, the shower wasn’t hot, the Blanket on the bed was dirty and had a large melted area, the indoor pool is freezing cold, and the breakfast options were poor quality.

Front desk staff, the hot breakfast ladies, and cleaning staff were friendly, customer service oriented, and plain wonderful. They are an asset to this property.

Every thing was close by the mall the movies!

Disappointing Hampton Inn

We love Hampton. We did not love this Hampton. Of all the Hampton hotels we've frequented, I'd say this one was the worst. Ice cold pool with no heater, hardly functioning shower, clogged toilet, crumbs on the bed were some of the negatives for our hotel stay. Compared to some of the sketchier hotels out there, I realize these problems could have been much worse, but since our previous stays are usually excellent, this was pretty disappointing for our family. If it would have been longer than a 1 night stay, I probably would have asked for a new room and maybe even some compensation for our issues, but we just got through the stay and moved on.

The room needs updated, the carpet feels sticky, the smell is moldy. And my back is broken from the bed that is DEFINITELY not Hampton quality.

Stayed one night after flying in late to Houston. This hotel is right at the mall, and a close drive to many restaurants. Was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good and got us ready for our long drive in the morning.

Excellent choice in the Willowbrook area

I have stayed at this property several times when visiting my kids in Houston. It's always been clean and well taken care of and the staff have always been helpful and cheerful.

Staff was nice enough to offer early check in however the only room available was a designated disabled person room which was unclean with a staunch odor of urine. In addition we were told because our stay was during a holiday that housekeeping services were not available. The entire purpose of a hotel is to facilitate the needs of guests during the entire stay regardless of a holiday or not and the rooms should be clean regardless of it being a disabled person designated room or not. People travel and utilize hotels especially during the holidays so to say the least, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The inside of the hotel smells like mildew. The halls and the rooms smelled disgusting and like they were mopping with old mop water. Someone ordered door dash on Friday and the dasher left it outside of our room door we told the lady at the front desk that it wasn’t ours and her response was she didn’t even see the dasher come in the building with the delivery. Needless to say that food stayed in the hallway in front of our door our entire stay there. So that furthermore tells me that the hotel is not being cleaned as it should. Other than the cleanliness of it and the old mildew and mold smells it is in a great location.

Only about 5 parking spaces in front. Others were handicap. The back of hotel parking did not feel safe to me. Employee kept their personal car parked under awning all day . The staff was not welcoming. There were 3 people behind the desk and the worker who checked me in had to be told to “check her in” .

Left early came back late. Little chance for activities. However, appreciated the quite and comfort of the hotel

I had four rooms seven people at the pool the guy at the front desk was rude explain to me I can only have three towels even though I had seven people swimming

The floors were sticky and gross, but everything else was fine.

Everything was great checking was fast and easy . The gentleman at desk was pretty cool and had us on our way to room in less the 5 mins . Upon getting to room as i had read on reviews furniture is slightly out dated and room was musty like humid carpet . Bed is comfty .. and breakfast is just the best 👌 plenty to choose from , pool was okay found out that id would rather swim outside instead indoor still a cool pool. So much to do aound here .. i would recommend

When I booked I needed a accessibility for a wheelchair. They told me when we got there that the ac was not working on all the rooms they had. In my stay could not take a bath because it is hard for me. Overall the room was clean.

Great stay !

I checked in on the ground floor, near the swimming pool. The bedroom was very damp and had an unpleasant smell. There was no bath soap during my stay, even though I informed the reception. The floor was very damp and very uncomfortable, the air conditioner was not cold enough.

GREAT NIGHT STAFF

It was a little confusing because and other hotel is in the driveway you have to take so you have to drive around to the backside. I didn’t know that Hilton bought the Hampton Inn franchise so that was a little confusing but the front desk evening staff were SUPER KIND and VERY HELPFUL when I needed a late check out after getting back to the hotel being at the hospital. They were the best thing about the hotel.

I would definitely recommend staying at this location especially if you’re just visiting the city. Great location, indoor pool, clean, and awesome free breakfast.

Super close to all the areas.

Easy and convenient location. No frills and an average stay. Room did smell like smoke. Breakfast was crowded because it was a small area with not a ton of options. I decided to go across the street for coffee.

The hotel was very pleasant and in a convenient location but the carpets in the rooms really need to be deep cleaned.

Not quite a winner.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was not good but we didn’t care about that. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy access to the mall. Only thing I did not like was the room smelled like cigarette smoke. For that reason I won’t stay here again.

The young lady at the desk (who was expecting @ the time) was very attentive and accomodating to my needs. She offered promp services. Convient location if your going to the Willowbrook Mall or Whiskey River bar in the area.

I reserved for three people and got a room with a King bed only. Neither the hotel or Expedia could solve the problem without more than doubling my rate. Other than that it was fine.

Wonderful staff and safe place to stay with family. Their indoor pool was enjoyable and breakfast was as well.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. There’s tons of places to eat to shop that are walkable distances. Very close to the mall. The Willowbrook mall is very nice. They have a variety of shopping. The hotel staff was very kind over the top. They gave you water bottles and chips when we checked in and they even let us in early because our flight was super early. I appreciate the kindness. I would definitely stay again if you’re thinking of booking definitely book! Just want to say the breakfast is top-notch probably the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel

Needs to be thouroughly cleaned

My colleague and I each had our own room - both of which smelled very musty - The hotel is not at all up to the typical Hampton Inn standards

The hotel was always clean, staff was friendly and i had aver enjoyable experience feom checking to check out. Will definitely visit their facilities again.

Tolit wouldn't flush water in sink won't go down

I had a 2 night stay at this hotel and I was very pleased. Everything from check in, cleanliness, noise level, to check out was great. Believe me I check out these things as soon as I check in. This was my first trip to Houston and Hampton Inn made my stay comfortable. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The staff are ok but the cleaning ladies are very rude to me and my kids, the bathroom was dirty and the carpet was not smelling good , I told the cleaning lady several times and she said she doesn’t do rooms on weekends, I ask for the stuff and had to clean it myself, I’m very disappointed in their behavior towards me , I’m not sure if it’s because I’m black , because I see how well they treated the other white families with kids.

Disappointment

Pool was green and freezing cold. No turn down service between our stay. They only clean when you check out. Had to ho get more toiletries and towels between days. Not what we expected.

The property is on fair conditions, but they assign us to a dirty room

The hotel was great, but didn't sleep well due to kids running the halls and the room above us being extremely noising until the early morning hours – super frustrating!

Good 2 night stay

Check in and check out was fast and easy. The young man who was at the front desk was helpful and friendly when we needed water and snacks. Liked that there was an indoor pool.

The carper in the room was filthy and when you walked in youre shoes would stick to it same with bathroom floor. The pool was disgusting and so was the hot tub even thought they chairs and yellow tape around it.. will not ever stay again!!!

The elevator was smelling very bad, dusty. The breakfast was good. I was in room 204, when someone was walking on 3rd floor, it was making lots of noise so could sleep properly

Nice 2 day stay.

Comfortable stay..room was clean and fresh. Beds are comfortable room was nice and cool. The only thing that was not okay was the elevator wasn’t working. Not so good with a bad back.

Front desk clerk put us on the 3rd floor which it wasn't a problem untill we was told we had to use the stairs due to the elevator was out of service! She wasn't professional at all, had a attitude for whatever reason. We had to carry all of our luggage upstairs which it wasn't easy but didn't have any other choice. Other than that our stay was ok.

Poor Service!

Not so good! Broken elevator, smelly stairway; nasty sticky carpet in bedroom. One bed dirty comforter & sham. Swimming pool door unable to open for 45 minutes. Request for downstairs denied when clearly other’s were given 1st floor when I called first thing after notification! Receptionist LIED!

Breakfast was disappointing

Elevator was broken. The pool was closed as well due to a pump being broken.

Muggy night stay.

Staff was great. Hotel needs serious work on hvac system. Hallways are hot and muggy making it tough on room ac to keep up. Not good in humid Houston.

Pool out of service

I was upset that the pool was still out of service from our last stay. That needs to be noted when looking for a hotel with a pool. The pillows are horrible they go completely flat. You wake up with a neck pain because you've been sleeping on a flat pillow.

Very well maintained hotel. Rather small for a Hampton property. Nestled in among trees so it's not obvious to everyone. Close to everything.

I have almost given up on Hotels and this stay has set me back to staying.

I called from the road because I was going to be really late getting to the hotel. I didn't get the name of the person who answered the phone but he was nice and held my room for me. I wasn't at the hotel long, I basically slept and left first thing that morning. Everything in my room was great. Bed was comfy and the area was quiet. The hotel is tucked away nicely to say it's located right between the mall and busy FM 1960.

Overall our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. Room was very clean

No complaints jus hate the pool not open
