Still remodeling/reconditioning, very clean, staffs are friendly, breakfast is delicious

The property looks new and clean. It's quiet and close to shopping center. There's plenty of parking spaces. The floor, furniture, and bed was clean when I checked in. I left in the morning, back around 3:30 PM, and room was how I left it. Cleaning lady knocked on door around 4:30 PM to clean. I told 'em not needed any more. I need to rest. It shouldn't take that long to just tidy up the room. They must be short of staff. I hope it does not persist. The air conditioning unit turns on quickly to the thermostat, but the temperature of the room did not seem to change. the air seem to be direct from outside, and thermostat show same temperature after 1 hour of turning on the AC. It must be centrally controlled. Looking closely at the AC unit, the vent is dusty. There are debris inside where the air is blowing into the room. I just have the AC unit off the whole time. Don't want more dust circling in the room. How would it feel in the summer when outside is 115 degrees? The breakfast is continental with fewer items offered. Not as many type of pastries or fruits, and the waffle mix was thick that even dispensing into the cup was not easy. I hope improvements are coming.

Miriam at check in and Laura at check out were both terrific, My only complaint is that the mattress in 314 should be replaced (the one closest to the door).

Not bad, but not our fave

We are regularly in Las Vegas and what we liked about this particular hotel is: Location, clean, quiet. What we think was less than we expected (based on our comparison with other Hampton Inn locations in Vegas and elsewhere): breakfast is bare bones, service is terse, fitness center is worn. So, not a bad hotel, but also not as nice as comparable Hampton Inns in the area.

The lobby area was being renovated but they delt with it very well. Facility was so clean, smelled fresh and clean. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good with good variety. Rooms needed more art/photos.

They were in the middle of a renovation.

The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The price was excellent. We stayed a week. The worst part was the one ply toilet paper, just get your own. Lol shopping is in walking distance. Target was a twelve minute walk. If you ran put of anything, the syaff would bring it to you immediately. The place was being renovated, yet the placevwas still clean. I didn't notice any random dust. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff is excellent and super nice. Hotel is very nice and has shopping nearby.

We arrived around midnight and when we got into the room the remote control for the TV didn't work. The staff changed our room for us and we didn't have any problems after. The hotel was doing renovations and the laundry was not available, but overall I was very happy with my experience. The continental breakfast was good.

Clean, new hotel

Very clean and new hotel. The area felt relatively safe although we did encounter an unhoused person in the parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff, solid breakfast. Good location and close to the freeway. Would stay here again.

Breakfast friendly

Convenient location, still close to LV Strip (15min drive) but away from the crowds. The rooms are nice, breakfast is good and with plenty of options and the staff was super friendly!

Convenient to shopping

Rooms are big and clean. Minor annoyances: 1: lights in room are dark and dim 2: pillows are terrible and flat 3: dogs allowed and neighbors dog was barking randomly 4: walls are thin can hear what neighbors are doing to one another

Quiet and out of the way of too much traffic or noise. A perfect little stay for some peace and quiet. Breakfast was quite good as well!

It’s great because it’s close to the gym and to shopping.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious, they even had a couple of waffle makers to make your own waffles. Room was very clean. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, pleasant, and helpful.

Check in was easy. Staff pleasant. Facility & Room were clean. Problem was the motor from the Air Condition was very loud like a jet or a diesel engine roaring next to the table and bed, preventing us from falling asleep or working late at night.

The Studio King was absolutely perfect for me and my husband. Breakfast was delicious and menu changed daily. Definitely will be staying here next time we’re in Vegas.

Great location, quiet area. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. It was a little confusing to get into the parking lot towards the hotel. One of the elevators is super loud and seems like it’s going to break down. I’m surprised housekeeping still checks daily.

Joann, who prepared and set out breakfast, was a delight. Everyone of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The excellent breakfasts really jump-started our days.

Staff was very kind but property is old and run down and not very clean. Surrounding area isn’t great.

Hallway carpet was filthy. Our room carpet was wet and they didn’t have another room. They said it was just cleaned.

Staff were friendly. But the room needs a complete renovation. The door squeaks so loud everyone u open that can wake up the entire floor. Ac Is so outdated and noisy that could not sleep turned on.

The only thing we didn't like was there wasn't a nice grassy area to take our dogs to the bathroom. There was only areas with rocks. Las Vegas gets very hot and so do the rocks. It was very uncomfortable for them and hard for them to go there.

Nice and cozy hotel..I got a nice view and it was almost a feeling like I was the only one there overnight. Very nice front desk staff and easy checkout. Id recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a clean and nice place to stay

Our air condition went out. Summer time in Las Vegas at over 100 degrees Fahrenheit is not a good sleeping condition so we stayed in this hotel to get a goodnight sleep, and we did. The place is very clean and spacious. Will definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Convenient to where we needed to go. I would’ve gave 5 stars but plumbing made a horrible noise you could hear in your room & hallway on 3rd floor if you were filling the bathtub. Loud vibrating sound. I could hear it in other rooms as I walked down the hall.

Property was okay! Bed was horrible, and pillows as well.

The property was is a fairly busy area. Very close to freeway, but no freeway noise. Lots of food and shopping close.

Super nice rooms, clean and fresh!

The stay would have been above average, but 2 things happened that stood out to me: -Getting a couple of complementary bottles of water for the room seemed to be an issue, and -I was reminded more than twice about booking the room through a third party--which influenced the treatment I got, apparently, and not necessarily in a positive way.

Amazing Service, friendly staff, and relaxing

I’ve loved Hampton Inn hotels for 26 years and stay in them whenever possible. They never disappoint. This property is very convenient to visit my son and reminisce in my old neighborhood. Only a minor complaint: the fitted sheet was too tight for the king mattress. It rode up at the head of bed and I couldn’t fix it without trying to readjust whole sheet and every corner.

This property could be nice if it was managed properly. It has a nice breakfast buffet, the rooms ar of a nice size and in a nice area, but that’s all that it has to offer. Our rooms had mold growing in the shower, the floors were sticky in front of the bathroom sink, and the sink was clogged with hair. Some of the staff were awful! We arrived at the hotel at midnight after traveling for over 13 hours. The front desk agent was snippy from the beginning. I handed her my credit card and I asked before she ran it if it was ok to use that particular card. She assured me that it was and charged my card the over 800 in fees. A few minutes after she ran my card she informed me that she had made a mistake and that she couldn’t use that card and would have to return the money to my card or cancel the reservation. I explained that it would take 3 days for the money to show back up in my card and that would be leaving me stranded, she actually looked at me shrugged her shoulders and said “oh well, nothing I can do.” I was furious and said that we would just sleep in their lobby. She proceeded to call Expedia while I tried to get Expedia online, and her coworker called the police! Fortunately we finally got someone on the phone at Expedia that told her to honor the card since she had already run it. It was an hour of back and forth, and the entire time their attitude was not my problem, don’t care if you are out in the cold. The last time I ever stay at a Hampton Inn.

Geat staff. Roms are big and comfortable very clean

We stayed 3 nights. Room was never cleaned or refreshed. We had to ask for clean towels. Room was quiet even next to the elevator. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was very noisy. Refrigerator froze things - had to throw away expensive fruits. Breakfast was good. Parking was convenient as was side door.

The Summerlin Hampton Inn was very clean, the staff was friendly & helpful & the breakfast was great! They had more choices available than most - delicious scrambled eggs, not overcooked, country potatoes, bacon, toast, bagels or English muffins, fruit, make your own waffles, oatmeal, OJ, good coffee, & more. We would also recommend the nearby Blueberry Hill restaurant, good home style cooked food, generous portions & reasonable prices.

I liked everything. It just needs a hot tub.

Need to seriously update their policy.

I have severe allergies due to smoke and pets. I smelled weed everywhere even though there are signs stating to smoke in designated areas outside. There is no way to tell if the room the staff reserves for you is pet free even though you have informed them of my issue.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas Summerlin was a good option for what we needed. We needed to be close to Summerlin and wanted something affordable. Our room was clean and everything was in working order. The beds were comfortable enough. The morning breakfast was good -- typical for a Hampton Inn and plenty of breakfast for us. My only two complaints are: 1) The carpet in the hallways was dirty and in need of cleaning. 2) The walls are pretty thin. We could hear everything in the room next door and down the hallway. For the second night I bought ear plugs at the Target nearby and I was able to get much better sleep than the first night.

Poor staff

The front desk was having problems with their computers but I wasn’t acknowledged, welcomed or greeted! When I approached the 2 nd person at the desk I was told that she hadn’t signed in and she woiuld call me if she could help me. When asked about security, checking parking, or anything else the answers were No!!

Very good location, easy access to everything, many restaurants around.

Alternative over staying on the Strip

Very decent accomodations in Sin City. Right next to the Las Vegas Athletic Club. Chik fil-A about a block away across the street. Convenient. Free parking.

Not happy with my stay at all

Descent place to stay. Walls are thin.. Bedding was great rooms were clean reception staff great. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall it served it's purpose

Nice hotel! Well located in Summerlin - on the west side of Las Vegas. Friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast was excellent!!! Sorry we could only stay for one night. Thanks for doing such a great job!

Everyone was so nice the breakfast was good

My only issue is that the room was advertised as 1 sofa bed 1 king bed. There was no sofa bed. Mis advertisement

I liked the breakfast being included and how the location was near the freeway. I wish our room had a large bath instead of the large shower but I assume that was because I didn’t pick the right room option. It was clean and felt taken care.

The hotel it’s in great shape

I never write reviews but the person who checked me in was great so I wanted to call that out! She was attentive and friendly. I like that the lobby area has a large sitting area with tables. The room I got is pretty spacious and comfortable.

I love the Hampton Inn at Las Vegas/Red Rock.

I went to Las Vegas to visit my son and his wife. Checking in at the Hampton Inn was very easy and I felt welcomed by Juanita. The hotel is centrally located for the activities I was going to do during my visit. The room was great, the bed was very comfortable, I slept all night. I enjoyed the breakfast, everything tasted good and the dining area was very neat & clean. The lady working the dining area was very nice and friendly. My whole experience was great, that is why I always go back there.

Bed wasn’t comfy and air conditioner was extremely loud. Bathroom was nice. Condition of rooms are really outdated and not like the photos.

The bathtub did not drain properly. The shampoo and soap were out in the shower. Air conditioner was noisy but when called they came and looked at it. The breakfast was good. Staff was great. Overall. Would stay there again.

The location is great. There are a lot of good restaurants and amenities around. The front desk people are super friendly and attentive, taking care of every detail. The breakfast is good too, better than comparable hotels. The room was very clean. All in all, it was a great stay and I will definitely stay again.
