Hotel/room was great but we stayed in a room facing I-10 and the highway noise was unbearable. Even with white noise & AC unit on, it was tough to sleep through.

Very friendly and professional staff. Indoor pool is actually open!

The front desk was very welcoming. They were accommodating when we asked to move rooms. Overall our stay was good. They had housekeeping every day. They had extremely hot water and it was hard to regulate the water temperature. we struggled to get any cold water.

Delicious breakfast, heated pool, & comfortable rooms!

I was awaken in the middle of every night from the noise on the freeway. I didnt like that you can hear all that noise. Also, the Denny's next door was extremely dirty, outdated, and didnt have anything i wanted and what i eventually got was disgusting.

Amazing staff! When I checked in, the gentleman who works over night, his name starts with a “G” believe. I cannot believe I forgot his name. I had some troubles checking in and he took care of me. He told me about he loves spending time with his children, especially now that he’s working overnight he loves working in hospitality and he’s been in it for a while. Very welcoming and accommodating. My room was spectacular. The only complaint I have is the room smelled like feet when I entered. There’s probably sitting water in the walls or floor.

Front desk staff were wonderful

I could hear the traffic all night long, couldn’t sleep.

Nice hotel a little loud because of the freeway

This hotel was a good value for the price, but still a 3/5. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. Our toilet in our room stayed broken. Everyday we told the front desk. They’d send maintenance, who would “fix it”, then within minutes of the “fix”, it would break again. Super inconvenient considering we had two adults and two small children. Going up and down to the lobby to use the restroom was not cool. Our room’s carpet was wet when we got there. We assumed they used a carpet cleaner because it smelled like cleaner when we walked in and when we walked on the carpet, we could feel the residue on our feet. It didn’t feel stuffy or smell moist, so that ruled out humidity issues. This hotel is also VERY close to the interstate, so expect some noise in the room. We slept fine with a sound machine. Some pros were that overall the hotel was clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and breakfast was pretty good compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at.

Heating was not working and shower too was non functional. I could not sleep on the 1st night when was completely tired after a long international flight. After 3-4 complaints, heating was looked into. Shower was not fixed at all. Ordinary breakfast. Would not recommend at any cost.

Very clean.

Convenient

Staff friendly and attentive. Only issue is the entrance to hotel. A Constable was at the corner to keep entrance opened. We enjoy the location as it is convenient to the areas we visit.

Its nice and is very convenient for the stay.

Condition beyond control of the hotel

We certainly enjoyed our stay overall. The only issue is the difficult access to the hotel. At night when the nearby bar patrons are arriving, they block the access to the driveway of the hotel. My husband literally got out of his car and asked one driver to back up & one to pull forward so we could return to the hotel. We know there is nothing the hotel can do about this. The Constable present did nothing to help. The staff is helpful & friendly and we enjoyed our room otherwise.

Nice place

The room was really nice and comfortable. The hotel was really clean. The only issue I had was that my room ended up being at the end of the hall and the elevator on that side wasn’t working. Also, the parking lot when driving isn’t the best. Other than that, I’d definitely stay there again.

Great space for families !

Hotel was really clean , rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was pleasant. Only complaint is the room air conditioning was noisy and I didn’t realize it until I was going to bed . At that point it was too late to mention. It was a good location as well. More affordable than down town and close enough to restaurants and shops.

I hate this app. It was difficult to reserve a room in the first place.

Dilapidated. Carpet needs to be cleaned. Unsafe area surrounding hotel. Front desk staff during day were very courteous and professional. Night crew nice but less professional. Breakfast was incredibly unhealthy and fruit was brown.

Loved the extra space in the suite. Not crazy about the breakfast. The waffles were very good but other options not so appealing.

This hotel.was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was phenomenal because it had a variety of options from cold items to hot selections. It was located very close to downtown and restaurant. I would definitely stay here again

Nice place to stay. Indoor pool is nice. Denny's is an easy 30 second walk. Beds were good and was able to get a good sleep.

Great personal

The toilet didn’t refill. The blinds did not retract. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean. The area was semi-questionable.

The elevators needs to be fixed. There was only 1 elevator working and they have a total of 3. The one working was almost giving out. We told the receptionist in front about the problem and she said she was going to have to put a not working sign on it.

Check in was a breeze and room was comfortable/clean. Breakfast was great; plenty of options and prepared well while making certain it was stocked.

Cleanliness, new and comfortable

The staff were pleasant and the property was very clean and welcoming. I will definitely book again on my next trip.

Wonderful hotel.

Had to change room at 2amm because of dogs barking in room next to me. No luggage carts available when I checked in and out.

Amazing staff. The property is well kept and clean. Breakfast was decent, but i felt that eggs were poorly prepared. There's so much noise around. The highway is on one side and the train is on the other side. There's no escape!

Convenient to central Houston/Memorial. Very well maintained and clean. Kind check in staff.

Not My Favorite

I’ve stayed at this particular Hampton Inn four times in the last 12 months, on business. Til now it’s been good. But this time the bed mattress was not comfortable and noise from non-stop chugging freight trains on a railroad track adjacent to the north side of the hotel woke me up and kept me awake at night. During checkout when asked by the front desk attendant if my stay was OK, I related my experience to him. Defensively staring at me from behind the hotel’s 100% satisfaction guarantee sign, he informed me, “That’s on you and is not my problem.”

The entrance is through a run down Denny’s parking lot. When we were checking in we were asked if we wanted freeway or train track sides of the building. Not a great location for a Hotel. But the hotel was fine the freeway and the train tracks were not an issue. The walls and windows were pretty soundproof. All in all nice place and not overpriced. We may use it again. If they get a better restaurant next door and somehow improve access to the streets around it, that would help a lot. Oh and keep up better with the breakfast food, 1/2 the stuff was empty when we went to eat.

This was not our best stay. We stay here often when we visit family. We won't choose this hotel again. The beds in 212 are awful and part of the curtains are gone. We have stayed in this room before and had the issue with the curtains but the beds were find. The mattresses are literally busted down in the middle. Our phone also didn't work. I walked down to ask to change rooms and was told there weren't any other rooms available. 212 is a handicapped room and we needed a roll away. The attendant told me there wasn't another room available. After looking online, we saw that there were 4 handicapped room available. My spouse went down to the front desk and let them know so we ended up being moved to a different room. I have 3 special needs children I had to load back up at bedtime and move rooms with which was very frustrating!

Noisy was due to the freeway adjacent to the property. Nothing that they could do about that.

Nice place to stay, morning breakfast items were not up to my expectations.

Unfortunately, everything is on other side of the hwy. You definitely should rent a car if flying in from out of town.

The front desk staff was amazing! Especially the man who was working the night we checked in 9/27 around 10:30.

Place is awesome! Staff was more than accommodating and very friendly. Facility. Was great! Leaving and entering parking lot was a safety concern due to the Denny's and bar and traffic intersection while sharing the same parking lot.

It was very quiet and convienant for what we were going for.

Hotel room was clean but common areas looked old and dirty. Breakfast was not very good, eggs were terrible. Elevator was not working. Driving into the property is tricky and entrance is easily missed.

Property is well taking care of. Checking in was easy, Cassandra was very polite and checked up on us throughout our stay. The rooms look just like the pictures on website. Staff members very friendly. Breakfast was good. Will stay again.

I liked the fact that the rooms were quiet. You couldn't hear anything from the rooms next to you. Was very clean. Staff was very accomodating and nice. Beds were comfortable. Fresh towels and room serviced daily. Denny's next door had good food and their staff was nice and polite. Will stay there again. 22 minutes to Methodist Smithtower.

Staff was wonderful. Disliked that pool didn’t open till 10 am a as we were usually out the door by then.

I was woken up by a fire alarm at around 3ish am. Apparently a guest caused a fire with what i think Was the microwave. The staff did not know what was going on and the hotel should’ve taken a better approach at handling the situation. Other than that the hotel was clean and good.

Perfectly fine. Just alongside busy highway. So very accessible but not much to walk to.

I arrived 40 minutes prior to check in but receptionist was not customer friendly and quickly responded that room wouldn’t be ready until three; didn’t even try to offer other alternative assistance.

Hotel experience

The staff were really nice. The food was good but we ate other place to for breakfast. They made our beds everyday and changed out towels and wash clothes everyday with clean ones. It was also close to much of what we needed to do when catching a Lyft or Uber within a five or so miles. I would stay here again. The only thing I didn’t like is I could hear the highway noise not sure if the window was not sealed properly or something in room 412. At night I tried putting down the shades but it didn’t help. Not sure if anyone else facing the highway experience it.

The room was dirty and they didn't clean it when the other guest left and we came in.

We were supposed 2 stay 5 nights but ended up moving. My husband and I are TV fanatics. They have limited channels and we couldn't log into our Netflix. We were told by the front desk that they haven't updated all of the rooms yet. So we asked for an updated room and she said that she didn't know which rooms had been updated so we left the next day. We won't be returning.

The entrance is very difficult to see because it is shared with other businesses, sort of hidden. When you leave you are actually at an intersection off the highway but you have no indication of how to go through a 5 way corner, very hard at night! Bath tub was very stained, great staff.

Nice big Queen Bedroom suite

Loved the stay. Everything was great except the air conditioning; got cool but never cold. With the heat and humidity outside it hurt our comfortability, however, everything else was fine. We would stay again. Maybe after some maintenance the air would be better.

Everything was nice and up to standard. The ac blew very cold but we did notice the carpet around the ac was wet which didn’t effect us but may effect the hotel itself

Very clean and well taken care of, room serviced every day. Breakfast area was well stocked and had help available as needed. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Location was good for where we needed to be but entrance/exit area was a bit questionable sharing with restaurants, made it difficult to get in and out. Would stay here again.

I want a full refund for my stay. We got stuck in the elevator, blinds were broken in the room, tv remote did not work properly, ice machine by our room beeped all nite, there were roaches near the dining area in front of door.

This hotel was listed as a 2 * hotel - I think it had the price of a 3*, but was clean, people were kind and flexible.Only thing, the breakfast food quality could be better. Not bad at all overall, I so much enjoyed my very brief stay
